Stayed here for 6 nights with my wife last week. Very comfortable atmosphere and literally right on the beach. Restaurant food staff were and excellent. Room was comfortable and v Very friendly and very accommodating the entire week always making sure thery clean. Most of all GiGi and Josh at the front desk treated us like rock stars.I'd stay here again.

    "Like it!!"
    Staying here for 12 nights. So far so god! Our room is high up with a lovely ocean view . Two big beds . Daily housekeeping with new towels. Kitchen contains everything you need, They even did my dishes. Only downside was the waterpressure in the shower. Nice pool and pollite staff. Enjoing my stay.

    I visited with friends and family and it was amazing the staff was great always from the time you arrive to departure all the employees are very helpful and provided us with an amazing customer service I specially loved how the receptionist treated us she was just impeccable and accommodated us even though we arrived 5 hours before our reservation was she got us in our rooms ASAP. Definitely staying again on our next trip.
    "Bed fit for a "Queen""
    This clean room was nice and clean although it was apparent it was a rework from an older place because there were some very minor imperfections. Kitchen: Supplies were all there. Dishes and silverware nice although we didn't use the pots and pans. Faucets didn't drip and sink was clean and drained well. We didn't use the stove this trip. Beds: Pillows and sheets were well maintained. There were extras we could use to change out. One of the reasons we booked this room was that it has two "Queen" beds. Although a double is adequate most of the time, we have a king bed and a double just feels like being squeezed. Bathroom: The bathroom was clean. The sink had been replaced but of course the tub was original although it wasn't in bad shape. The faucets worked and the sink and toilet drained well. The showerhead could have been better. There was a new clean blow dryer installed. Living quarters: There was a small table and chairs plus two the two queen beds. Curtains were obviously new and worked fairly well. Additional items: There were no beach chairs nor beach towels.

    My husband and I visited Miami Beach a month ago and had a pleasant experience with our stay at the hotel. Gigi at the front desk was very helpful & even upgraded us to an ocean view room at no cost,for being patient as we waited to be helped. Although there was renovations going on, the hotel met our expectations. Location was great, beach was wonderful and the caf was a great place to eat. I will definitely consider staying there again when I come back to visit.

    I was booked at the sister Hotel and Up grade it here, It was really nice stay , I was also given free valet , really nice also , staff was pleasant and respectful, the view to the beach was beautiful , place was outdate but clean.

    Booking my vacation consisted of 3 things. The price tag, the amenities and the reviews of people that had recently been to that hotel. When looking at the casablancas website i noticed it had all the amenities and was in our price range. The pictures looked nice also. After taking weeks of trying to plan the perfect vacation i took a chance and booked at the casablanca on the ocean. Our plane getting to miami was way earlier than expected and our hotel room was not ready yet. They held our luggage until our room was ready and we went to lunch at the restaurant located down stairs and layed by the pool. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff are very friendly and willing to help with any needs you may have. I very soon figured out 90% of the reviews i read did not pertain and i was so glad i booked anyway. This hotel is in walking distance of many stores and restaurants. Theres just a gate seperating you from the ocean and they provide a key so you can come and go as you wish. My fiance' and i have 3 days left here before our vacation is over and we couldnt of asked for a better place to stay!
    "Wonderful Honeymoon"
    Despite the negative comments we read, we have had a wonderful stay on very short notice, and we extended our stay without problems. We booked online during airport winter chaos and once we reached our hotel we realized we are on Miami beach with private access, the rooms are clean, modern and bright, the staff are friendly. The location is central with a 7-eleven right across for snacks and sundries. Even though they are undergoing renovations which proves they up-keep the building and property, they don't start until 9am, which is very reasonable. The only recommendation are to bring your own toiletries as they do not supply any. The pool is warm and clean and pool towels are supplied on request. Compared to Key West rates, half the cost and twice the value. We will be staying here again, and we are VERY picky, we do our homework. If people complain about this hotel, they are just generally spoiled.

    The room had a nice little kitchen with utensils. Bathroom was a little too small. Awesome pool with nice bar and restaurant. The hotel is well connected with the beach and there is a walkway that connects you directly with the beach. Public parking in a nearby park. A lot of nice food places around.
    "Good Experience @ The Casablance Hotel, Miami Beach"
    It was the week of Art Basil so I did not expect to be able to get a room anywhere, but was pleased when I called the Casablanca and was told they had 2 rooms left. She mentioned the rooms she had were studio suites, one of their more expensive, so I was shocked when she said the price was $159!!!. I thought that was quite reasonable. Other hotels I had called were quoting me upwards of $250-$400 for a standard room. At the Casablanca you can get a standard room starting @ $77-$89 if you can catch one of their hot deals. The hotel is an old Grand Dam built in a bygone era who has seen her glory days go by, but the new investors SG Resorts International are trying to bring her back to her original grandieur. They have a long road ahead of them, but she's got good bones and there is so much that can be done using the original design. This was one of the hottest hotels back in the 1950'S (my now 80 year old aunt told me many stories of her wild days hanging out at the Casablanca pool (and bar!!!) when she was a mere 17 year old!!!!) and when you step into the grand lobby, you feel transported back to those magic days. For their part while they are undergoing this $4 million rennovation, they have tried to make the rooms comfortable (my bed was great) provide impeccible service (which they did... Yuni Gort at the front desk is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!) and a relaxing atmosphere by the pool and in the lounge, (Cheryl at the bar makes a great douible rum & pineapple :) But keep in mind it still looks a little rough. They have a lot to do to get it ready. Anyway, all in all, I thought the value was great, the service was terrific and I was very comfotrtable in my room so unless someone else wants to pay for my room at The Setai, I'll be staying at The Casablance again.
    "What a lovely place to stay"
    I booked into this hotel on 22--23 August 2013. I booked the city view as it was a lot cheaper, but to our surprise when we arrived at this hotel at 1500pm I was upgraded to a town houses ocean view!!!!!!! it was amazing, own kitchen two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. I payed 100 usd deposit which i got back when i departed, the Town house was so clean, well AC bathroom spotless. The kids love the swimming pool, and also the private beach, there was only about 5 ppl on the beach at 1030am the next morning, check out time was 1100am, but the give you one hour free. if you drive ask for the 1 usd parking around the corner its free after 6pm till 8am. The staff were very nice, thank you so much for a pleasant stay.

    I would stay at this hotel again. The hotel is situated in a pleasant neighbourhood directly adjacent to Miami beach. Very short distance from Miami International airport and the Taxi fares are very cheap. The hotel staff were very helpful and provided a service around the individual. All the staff are bilingual in English and Spanish, this helped a lot. I enjoyed my time at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a hotel that suits the needs for families and low price travellers.

    Had a fabulous two night stay here in May 2013, nice hotel, good size room friendly staff. The hotel led right onto the beach which is absolutely stunning. We had a really good stay here and the little cafe over the road to the left of the 7-11 was great for breakfast.

My wife was on crutches so we needed some place very close to the beach. Restaurant food staff were and good. Room was upgraded and was very clean. Most of all GiGi and Josh at the front desk treated us like rock stars. Very friendly and very accommodating the entire week always making sure they said hello to us (thanks gang). Last but not least were the valet guys. These guys worked very hard and were always right there for us and very pleasant to deal with. I'd stay here again.

    I always come back here. All rooms are equipped with kitchen. Even the standard city view rooms are pretty large with two queen size beds. Wifi in the rooms is free. It has a pool and door to the beach. Location is great, pretty calm, not as crazy as Southbeach hotels, nice for families and for relax. There's a brand new seven eleven just across the street and other pharmacies and supermarkets are close too. One bad thing: Valet parking and concierge are not always so polite specially at night.

    Good location on the beach. Great view from rooms facing ocean. Friendly and helpful staff. On arrival day problem with getting booked room, but front desk did all they could to solve the problem. The next day we got a good room. Danny front office manager especially helpful. Location is not in the heart of South Beach, but within easy reach by city bus. Breakfast room and breakfast could be better, though. We shall be back for sure another time.

    Everybody gives this place bad reviews. I had a great time at the Casablanca. Stayed March 19-26 2013. Place is a little old, But the staff was great. Valet Parking was great. The location is great, You're rite off the beach. Pool was awsome... big... lots of chairs. Daniel, One of the customer service reps: Was hands down the best. I arrived there with my friends.First room was a little to small, where big guys. Called the front desk with in a day Daniel had us in a upgraded room that had more then enough room to accommadate us. Can't say enough about this place will stay there everytime I go to Miami!
    "Beautiful Oceanview"
    My husband and I enjoyed our stay in condo #435. The first thing to hit us is the very large terrace we had overlooking the ocean and pool. (Very large pool). We sat on the terrace every morning and had breakfast and juice during our 5 night stay. The room wasn't fancy, but very clean and well equipped. Stove, refrigerator, microwave, etc. Towels provided, but only 2 each and one washcloth.each. You do not have maid service since it is a condo. We went to WalMart and bought beach towels and chairs for the beach. The hotel has no chairs on the beach and only gives towels to the hotel guests. Chairs were $10 each so money well spent since we used them every day. We left them in the condo, so hopefully the next person can use them. We drove to the grocery store, but I think there is one you can walk to. It was actually cheaper to rent the condo than to get a room in the same hotel! Way cheaper if you consider we did not have to pay for valet parking. Pizza place up the street where we walked and had sandwiches was very good. We walked along the beach or hotel fronts every morning. Very safe area. Quiet hotel. Older property, but clean. Beautiful beach! Not too crowded. Short drive to South Beach to people watch and shop. Ocean drive had so many restaurants to choose from! Wireless internet free and accessible in the room, although we did have the signal fade sometimes. Cell phone service with Sprint was horrible in our room. We loved our trip and would go again! Took our leftovers back to the room and had them for lunch everyday. Beautiful weather.
