"It was all good"
We had another great experience at the Melia chain of hotels. This was our fifth or sixth time at the properties in Mexico and the Dominican Republic and we very happy with the selection of the Paradisus Palma Real. We stayed in the Royal Service, Adults Only section and everything was top notch. We took our two older children (18) and they also enjoyed the relaxation, service, and dining at the resort. I heard some complaints about getting drinks at the beach or pool bar, but we didn't experience anything of the like. The restaurants were very well staffed and the food was prepared and presented well. Three keys to a great vacation: 1. Momma's happy ......well, you know 2. & 3. The Palapa is very important part of 1-3. Martin set us up every day on the beach and served us well. I hate playing the game of reserving a spot at sunrise and Martin managed to find us a spot every day. Our butler was very attentive and checked with us on a regular basis. If you stay at the property, ask for Jeuri. We stayed at the La Perla in Cancun last year and Jeuri's attentiveness was far above our last butler service. The dining spot at the Royal Service area was called Palazzo. Take the time to dine there a couple times and you won't be disappointed. We were well taken care of by Alexander Fria and the rest of the crew. We also enjoyed the other restaurants including the Gabbi Beach and the Market Street Grill. The lobsters were great and the service and spanish lessons were even better with our man Willy. In summary, we were pleased with the stay and we will return again.

Thank you Laura Castillo, our Family concierge at the Reserve, for making our trip extra special. We definitely felt pampered! We've been raving about our trip since we've returned home and have been recommending the resort. We've stayed at many luxury resorts, but the service here was definitely the best!

Fernando Geronimo brought me room service during my stay. He was an excellent waiter. Very polite. This was my first trip to the Dominican and I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The beach was beautiful.
"Wonderful experience!"
We stayed at Paradisus Palma Real for six nights, from August 7 to August 13. We stayed at the Royal Service part of the hotel, occupying a One Bedroom Garden View and a One Bedroom Ocean View Room. Thanks to Royal Service we had a personal butler, Faustino Ramos, constantly available (via a personal phone we were given) for any concern or request, such as reservations of restaurants and Spa services. The hotel is a huge and very good structure, with several pools (of which some for Royal Service only), direct access to a beautiful beach, seven very good restaurants. Among these, we particularly appreciated the Vento Restaurant (Mediterranean) and the Passion (by a 7-star Michelin chef, not included in the All Inclusive formula). It also has a small but nice casino. In this casino, we remarked the friendliness and professional service of Jose Then. Although we had some small problems at the beginning (in particular, the Wifi was not working in the room) our butler Faustino Ramos was extremely reactive and solved very quickly our concern. For all these reasons we absolutely suggest staying at this wonderful structure.
"Paradise Indeed"
We had a great week at Paradisus Palma Real. We had originally booked a room in the Reserve section not realizing that was for families. The agent checking us in suggested we change to the Royal Service (adults only) and are we glad we did. It was exactly what we wanted, private, quiet, and with a great level of service. We were assigned a butler for the week who would take care of all the small but time consuming tasks in an all inclusive resort, i.e. restaurant reservations, room service requests, etc. Our butlers, Jonase and Juan de Leon, did a fantastic job taking care of everything we needed. We had a palapa pool side for the entire week, our dinner reservations were made daily depending on which restaurant we wanted to eat in, there was coffee and snacks sent to our room each afternoon, our airline reservations were confirmed along with our transportation to the airport...they took care of it all. It was done with a smile and an attitude that was incomparable. We would recommend anyone coming to this resort take the Royal Service and ask for Juan deLeon, he is truly an amazing butler and deserves all the accolades we can heap on him. Not to mention the staff at the pool, (but I will!) Fernando Gil and Francisco Cabrera were absolutely wonderful. We always had a drink and our lounges were set up and waiting for us every day.
"A true Paradise"
The Paradisus Palma Real Resort is easily the best vacation destination I have ever been to. From the first step on the property the beauty of the resort is breath taking. This is a resort that actually looks like the pictures I had seen online. It was my honeymoon and my wife upgraded us to the royal service. The service includes a butler who arranges all your needs and is at your call whenever needed. My butler Juan De Leon has made this such a wonderful experience that words can't describe.Juan has gone above and beyond his duties to make this a special experience and a honeymoon to never forget. There is always fresh fruit in the room, baths drawn for us at night and rose peddles in and around the jacuzzi. I recommend asking for Juan De Leon as your butler and I guarantee you will be pleased. The resort is just beautiful and the help has been so friendly. From the bar tenders to the pool guys working to get you towels and drinks. They never stop working to make your stay unforgettable. The food selection is very big and eat as much as you want. They offer everything from buffets to seafood to steak. Dress code for some restaurants for dinner but that entails just pants and closed shoes. A great laid back atmosphere to share with friends, family, or loved ones. I definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for true paradise.
"Beautiful!"
Loved, loved, loved, this hotel. Beautiful facilities. We stayed at the Royal Service and had a great experience with our butlers, Fermin and Elvis. They were always willing to serve us and went above and beyond to do things we didn't even know that we wanted, even drawing us a bath whenever we wanted it! Resort is stunning in every way!
"Completely relaxed"
We have never enjoyed a beach vacation this much before. Royal Service was absolutely worth it. The food was very good and the seafood was always great. The staff were always friendly and kind. Elizabeth Cadet at Royal Service was extremely kind and always helpful. The gym was great; they have a real bench with Olympic weights. They have dumbbells up to 70 lbs and plenty of universal stations. The beach is unreal!! Martin Tineo pampered us at the beach every day and was really the icing on the cake. Everything was manicured and clean. They struggled to keep my wifi up and running in my room. We will return as soon as possible!!

What a great hotel. Beautiful beach, huge pools and very tasty restaurants. Service was excellent in every way. Special thanks to our butler Juan De Leon, he superseded our expectations in every way. I recommend him highly, he is knowledgeable and professional. He made the vacation a lot better. Wish we can take him home with us.

Paradisus Palma Real Resort was a wonderful experience for our family. The staff was the best, always there to help and make your stay a great one. Our concierge, Juan Cedona, was a wonderful man and did all he could to make our experience an awesome one! Johnny, at the Market Grill Restaurant was always such a joy to be around when we would go for a midnight snack. His service was the best! What a wonderful human being! Super clean facility, great food, beautiful beaches, and great entertainment! Wish I was there now!

All expectations were highly met and thensome! Samuel Rodriquez, our personal butler in the Royal Service was amazing! Super friendly and VERY helpful! Also, Stephania Auguste, our greeter in The Palazzo every morning was fabulous! All in all the experience was truly an unforgettable one!!

"Great Stay!"
We were recently Royal Service guests at the Palma Real in Punta Cana. It was a great stay! The price was very reasonable, and the royal service was amazing. Every royal guest gets a personal butler. Ours was Juan de Leon and he was excellent. He assisted us, night and day, with everything we needed. As a royal guest you also get exclusive access to the Royal Pool, which has its own bartender by the name of Leonardo Mota. Leo is an amazing bartender and very friendly. The drinks are strong, but delicious, and no drink is too complicated. Overall the stay was very fun. You can definitely see where your money is going. Every restaurant has hidden food gems I could eat again and again, but some of the food is not so good. Just order what you know you like. The royal service guests have exclusive access to an italian restaurant that has fantastic breakfast every morning, cook to order. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
"Destination Wedding"
First time to Punta Cuna and had an awesome, blast of a time. We had the pleasure of staying here at the Royal Service section of the hotel. Juan De Leon was our butler and he did an outstanding job of making sure we had what we needed or wanted. He even went the extra mile to add a special touch every night before bed, whether it was chocolate strawberries or scented pillows. He continued to check on us to make sure we were ok, even at the wedding. Thank you Juan for making our stay so enjoyable. Lovey Island and lovey people, fun times and lasting memories of the Royal service, we will be back!
"Wow factor form the moment you arrive"
Accommodations were spectacular. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Room always spotless The setting is spectacular - I was a bit hesitant about Dominican Republic overall but was very impressed. IF you are going to go this would be the place to go - no need to leave the property. Beaches and pools had lots of options to be either where the action is, or to have some peace, quiet and privacy.

"Perfection at the Paradisus"
Unbelievable place....absolutley beautiful. Had my children with me and they were able to walk around safely. All the workers there were so very friendly and helpful. They were all extremely professional. The resort was spotless! Bring sunscreen and enjoy
"Butler Service"
My husband and I stayed at Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana. We upgraded to the Royal Services where it was a more intimate and private area. (no children around, needed sometimes) ;-) We had our own butler who was at our disposal and who's service was beyond cordial and courteous. The hotel, beach, food, overall service, and Sandy Gil our Butler made the experience a second honeymoon in paradise!!
"Paridisus is a home away from home"
Right when you pull up to the resort the lobby is extremely luxurious and are greeted right away by the polite and hard working staff with a beautiful smile on their faces. Not only, this is just the begging, when you try the food of one of the many restaurants with Great delicious menus you become amazed, the beach has clear warm water perfect for swimming or the various water sports they have to offer. Paridisus Palma resort offers you more than you were expecting in customer servic and accommodation, although your away from home you can easily connect to friends and family at the the business center with the special customer service of Omar Hernndez
