"Try the Wintergreen Resort & Conference Center in the Dells"
We recently stayed at the Wintergreen Resort in Wisconsin Dells and had a relaxing and enjoyable time. It is so clean and has everything a couple could want on a "getaway". Families can also take advantage of the nice kids' play area, both inside and out (when weather permits). The Banana Split Waffle for breakfast is really something. Weekend Brunch is delicious. Try it, you'll like it!
"Another great stay!"
This is the second time we have stayed here, and both times have been great! The staff was friendly, check in was smooth, and the room was clean. We stayed in a King room with pull out sofa (#325) and the king bed was extremely firm. Last time we stayed in a double queen and those beds were much more comfortable. I called the front desk around 9pm to request and extra blanket and the lady seemed irritated that I asked. But the blanket arrived within 5 minutes by a very friendly staff member who even asked me if I wanted another blanket! We did not use the pool this visit, but it is great for small kids. We will stay here again in the future!

The Wintergreen Resort is a breath of fresh air in a city crowded with "mega" resorts. This hotel has the feel and customer service of a small town motel, but you get the amenities you would expect at a large resort. The rooms are spacious and clean, the location is ideally located near the interstate, shopping, entertainment and dining, and the best part is the friendly staff. They treat you like close friends from the moment you step inside the front door. Always willing to go above and beyond to make your stay more enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and look here as an alternative to the madness at the other local resorts.
"Great place if you prefer a little quiet to all the Dells madness"
I've stayed here several times but this time we had a ladies shopping weekend. The Wintergreen hotel is right next to the Wis Dells outlet mall, so it was perfect for that! 6 of us shared a 3 bedroom suite. The room was super spacious and the perfect size for us. We really liked it there. Really though the staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is relaxed and nice. If you want to enjoy the Dells but don't want to deal with all the people and the waterparks, stay at this place! It's comfortable and the atmosphere is great.
"Top-Notch Resort"
I have stayed at this resort several times in the last eight years for quilting retreats. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with comfy, new mattresses in the rooms. The food is great and I like it that the restaurant is in-house with delicious food and affordable prices. If anything is needed and requested, they do everything to accommodate.
"Friendly Staff at this Gem in Wisconsin Dells"
We have stayed at most of the properties in the Dells area. Many of the large hotels have such a large layout that it is more than a block from the front desk to your room. When traveling with my mother and family, this property was a welcome relief to the usual hotel. It is a smaller property but it still provides everything you need. Every single staff member was helpful and friendly. The water park is simple and would most likely be suitable for young children, but the indoor pool was warm and hot tub temperature perfect. Our room was clean and well furnished. The restaurant on the property offered a delicious breakfast buffet at a reasonable price. The location is convenient for shopping at the outlet stores which are less than a block away. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!

I love staying at the Wintergreen Resort and Conference Center. The people that work here are the best. They have a smile, every time I walk in the door. If I need anything they help out any way. The rooms are nice and clean. The Chef Nick is awesome, I will be walking down the hall and he remembers my name. But then so do the front desk people. Logan, Bri, Katie, Robert love them all. Shirley in sales has so much knowledge, love her too. I have stayed here several times and never been disappointed. Thank you!
"Awesome Resort Stay"
We recently spent 4 days at Wintergreen Resort and Conference Center ,Wi. Dells. From the front desk staff to housekeeping, the stay was perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious, beds very comfortable and the pool area/ water park was awesome. The location is perfect for whatever a person would like to do while spending time in the Wi. Dells area. It is a short walk to the Outlet Mall and to many good restaurants. There is a restaurant on the property that in the off season serves a breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday. Because we visited during the week, we were not able to try the restaurant but on our return visit, we plan too. If you have children in your party, the pool and water park is sure to be a hit! It is not intimidating to children who are younger and have a fear of water because it is not huge. The pool and spa were wonderful! Warm and comfortable. I recommend this resort highly when visiting the Dells area. A huge thank you to the staff for making our stay perfect!!
"Annual State Meeting in the Dels"
The front staff was very friendly and had our room readily available. They went the extra mile to find an extra luggage cart that was stored elsewhere. The room was comfortable, and the restaurant had excellent breakfast.
"Nice place to stay."
Nice resort to stay at. Staff is very nice and helpful. It is located right off the free and easy to get to. This place is close to all the attractions at the Dells. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lots of places to eat close by . Will stay here again next time we go to the Dells.
"Glad we came"
We were treated to a day at Timbavati through my job & ended the trip at Wintergreen. So glad we chose this Resort from the others. The price was very reasonable & the room was very clean & inviting, The staff was a little indifferent & really didn't make us feel at home. Breakfast...even though they charged 10.00 a plate which was buffet style. The food wasn't fresh like home
"Had a wonderful visit!"
This was my first time staying at the Wintergreen Resort. I found the hotel staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed the afternoon sun on my little balcony. It is a family owned business, and I liked that it was not part of a big chain. The attached restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, which was very convenient. I appreciated the free wifi and the location. I will definitely stay there again.

This resort made me feel very welcome! Its a very calm environment with great costumer service at the front desk. They really make sure your stay is a great one and make sure to answer any questions you may have about the surrounding attractions. A very stylish wallpaper and comforter and a very clean bathroom in room. Also, a very delicious breakfast buffet at the wintergreen grille. I highly recommend this establishment!
"First Time in the Dells with kids!"
First of all, I always check this site for reviews, so I thought I would give as detailed one as possible without dragging it out! We are a middle class family with 2 boys 10/13. We couldn't spend a lot of money as some of the other resorts so we stayed here. It was pretty good, comparable to a Country Inn and Suites. It was not luxury, but comfortable! The folks at the desk were very nice! The pool/water park both outdoor and indoor was more for smaller children. The water was on the warmer side, which was a plus! The beds were pretty comfy. If you are on a budget with smaller children I would highly recommend this hotel. The Noah's Ark passes are an added bonus!
"Perfect for a long weekend!"
We have stayed here three times now since 2010. It is clean, well-kept, and the service from staff is great. It is not luxurious or extremely modern, but the Waterpark tickets, fun outdoor pool, and happiness with our visits keep us coming back. You cannot beat this vacation deal!

Overall, this was truly a perfect vacation for us since we're nowhere near the ocean. We had a patio, pool side room so we were easily able to get to the pools whenever we wanted. Even though we were super close to the elevators, we ran into absolutely no problem with noise. The room was perfect. The bathroom could've been bigger but whatever. The only real suggestion I have for the room is to provide a drying rack or something because it's no fun putting on wet suits. But that's not the fault of the hotel. Check in isn't till 4 but they said we could come any time after noon to use the pools if we wanted. Just like we could use their pools all day after checking out at 11... There's a neat restaurant that delivers food on a train (fun!!) right across the street, which is connected to Knuckleheads which is a MUST SEE/DO for indoor fun. The indoor pool and water park area is spacious, warm, clean. The water slide was perfect and fun for my almost 6 year old (and myself). We spent three hours our first night playing there. Both indoor and outdoor pools are huge and warm, though the water park spray area was too cold to play in. But the hot tubs are awesome and the water slides outside, while cold, were fun to play in once it got super hot. The restaurant is nothing to write home about but that's not why we chose this place... we chose it because it has food if we want, it has a decent size room, it has indoor and outdoor water fun (for young kids), there aren't three thousand rooms/people. The staff was all super nice. The location cannot be beat. And the price is pretty spot on.

"Wonderful Family Getaway!!"
Our family stayed at the Wintergreen for two nights. With younger children (ages 3-7), going to a huge crowded waterpark made me a bit nervous. This place is truly perfect for young kids! The indoor and outdoor pool areas were definitely the highlight. The water was not cold (unlike Noah's Ark--brrrrr) and our kids splashed happily for hours. The price was reasonable, the restaurant onsite had a nice breakfast selection, and kids meals were free with paid adult entree. It was close to Buffalo Phil's restaurant and the Outlet shops. Our room itself (202) was a bit run down...loose tiles in the bathroom, pieces of baseboard broken, etc, but the beds were comfy and the room was clean. Passes to Noah's Ark are included as well. Like I said, we tried it out but the water was so cold, the kids wanted to come back to the Wintergreen and play in their pools instead! We'd definitely come back again.
"Perfect water play area for young children"
We have 3 year old girls, and they loved the indoor water play area. There is a small water slide that is perfect for young children. They also have a 3-5 foot deep pool. We didn't use the outdoor pool area because it was cold during our visit; however, our girls enjoyed the slide/ swing play area. Our girls would be able to enjoy this hotel and the waterslide for many years to come. Our room was very clean, and the hallways were quiet. We were able to save $20 off the room rate for each night by asking for the Summer20 deal. This was an inexpensive way for us to enjoy our Dells vacation.
"Good hotel and good location"
The rooms were clean, and the staff at the front desk were always friendly. It was a pleasant experience and the location had lots of food choices around, and yet we weren't in the crowded city of Dells so that was nice, and still less than 10 min away from Noah's Ark.
