We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

Written Review

"Los Lagos Spring Break"
Every year our family chooses to go somewhere we haven't been before, so we ended up in Los Lagos in Hot Springs Village, AR this year. We stay in timeshares often and though this isn't the most up-dated resort, we would stay here again. We stayed in a two-bedroom, that included both A and B units. As usual, the B side was a little small if that's all you had, but certainly adequate. The A side was great; very clean, large and well furnished with a six-person table and large L-shaped couch. The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom included a huge jet tub and large shower. George Foreman grill on deck was perfect for cooking meats outside. There's a nice path that leads to the marina where you can rent boats and such in warmer weather or play a round of golf. We were a bit early, so many places were closed (including the pool) or had restricted hours and the weather was still a bit chilly and wet. The movies available at the clubhouse were a little dated as we're the players, but free, and wireless was good everywhere in our unit anyway. The hiking in nearby Ouchita National Forest was great and there were a lot of activities going on there - even though it's still their "off-season" of sorts. Everyone was pretty friendly in general.
"Couldn't ask for more!"
Hot Springs proper was booked so we stayed out here for $120/night for a huge 1brm condo. Furnishings were pleasant, nice gas fireplace and a deck on the lake. Bathroom with a big jacuzzi was icing on the cake. We stayed in unit 52 and the wallpaper in kitchen/bath were the only slightly dated items in sight. Nicely furnished kitchen and wifi insured we were all happy. Yes, it takes about 20min to downtown Hot Springs but the drive is pleasant and no bother for us. Plus we were only 25min in the other direction to the Coleman Quartz mine. We even rented a pontoon boat for a bit of boating at the Desoto Marina. We'd stay here again for certain!
"Clean and comfortable"
If you are ever in need of a place to stay when visiting Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, this is the place to stay. My husband's parents live there and when we visit we have rented several properties and stayed at the local hotel. The hotel is nice, but when you are somewhere for an entire week, a sitting area and kitchen are nice to have. The last few rental properties that we have used have been dumps. It was very refreshing to find this property. It was very clean (a very nice surprise), well kept (the blinds were all intact, unlike other rental properties we have rented) and everything was in working order (unlike the other rental properties we have rented). We stayed in the large one bedroom that had a jacuzzi tub, and a propane fireplace. Nice view of the lake. And did I mention it was clean inside and out? The kitchen had the basics needed for cooking. The facility must be well built, because there were people next to us and we never heard anyone. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did miss the fine print that said if you were arriving after 5 pm to call to get the combination for the lock box, but someone from the office called us around 4:30 pm via my cell and gave us the info. It was Dec, so we didn't use the pool, but they do have 2 nice pools, one for adults and one for family. You can also use the local marina and golf courses. They also had an electric grill on the porch and had charcoal grills next to picnic tables on the grounds.
"A Weeks Rest"
Since our family is scattered from North Carolina to Japan, we really couldn't do anything, so decided we would get away from the home phone and relax. Took a weeks worth of books and settled down. We enjoyed the relaxing location. The view of the lake and the wild animals was very enjoyable. There is so much stuff to do, that almost everyone can have a good time here. We was hoping to play golf, but a little too cold. We did have a great Christmas Eve celebration at one of the local Churches. WE celebrated our 51st Anniversary there, as we had been there once before, so knew it would fit our needs. The local people are very friendly and helpful, so go enjoy.
"Restful, luxurious place in the woods"
The RCI network did not make the location of this resort clear. I had to do a lot of research to learn about Hot Springs Village, as distinct from Hot Springs, AR. What I learned delighted me. This resort seems to have changed hands recently, from Escapes to Festiva, or the other way around. Unclear. We stayed in unit 46AB in phase 2. The unit is large, in good repair, and nicer than many condos we have stayed at. Everything is new and functional. We arrived quite late in the dark, and the man at the guard house was helpful. It was also good that I called a couple of days ahead to learn how to check in late. Maintenance issues were addressed immediately, which was impressive.
"Perfect Family Getaway"
We have had a timeshare at this resort for over thirty years and it is one of the best places for a family vacation! The condos are extremely nice, with every amenity you can imagine. There is a full kitchen, jetted tub, large master, a very nice second bedroom and bath, dining room with a view and huge family area with a fireplace where everyone can gather. "Very happy camper"
We visited in February of 2012, perhaps not the best time of the year. After reading a few other reviews on Trip Advisor, we approached it with some apprehension as we found that we would be assigned to phase 1. Much to our surprise we found the phase 1 units to be VERY large, very clean and well appointed. We could not have been more pleased. The staff was very pleasant and most helpful with restaurant recommendations etc. While we would not suggest February, Los Lagos just might be the best in the area. Ask for phase 1 .
"Old style Condos BUT quaint and pretty landscaping"
We arrived Nov 5, 2011 at the changing of the Fall leaves. The area is beautiful and our Unit #2 backed up to the lake and every morning we had breakfast on the deck every morning. Wonderful walking trails. Our condo was very large. We could have comfortably housed 6-8 people. The unit was clean and had a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of towels and extra blankets. There was detergent in the cabinet for the washer / dryer. Old style 12cup coffee maker and living room had a sofa sleeper, love seat, & two recliners. Dining room table for 6. Mini bar with wine glasses, blender, shot glasses, & ice bucket.
"Great home base for a week in Hot Springs area"
We spent a week at Los Lagos for our 2011 vacation. We had an A-side unit (1 bedroom, sleeper sofa and full kitchen) that was either fairly new or recently remodeled. The unit was quiet (we were on the top floor) and was very comfortable. We didn't really use the resort facilities (pool and clubhouse) so we can't comment on those, although the 2 pools seemed on the small side. There is a nearby 4 mile walking trail that was very nice. The location provides easy access to Lake Ouachita and Hot Springs. We also made it to Petit Jean State Park in 80 minutes. Golf courses inside Hot Springs Village are very nice, but pretty expensive for guests.
"Perfect place for our family"
We booked through Orbitz, and expected a decent place to stay. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised. Our condo was a one bedroom elite with a waterfront view. Had a full kitchen that was well stocked; a balcony with an electric grill; washer and dryer; full bathroom with huge whirlpool tub; and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Very roomy. We are already planning a return trip. Went to Ron Colemans mine and kids were thrilled with their crystal finds, visited beautiful Garvan Gardens, and then just spent time walking on the trails, kids played basketball, and played at the park.
"Nearly excellent and a great value"
We stayed in unit 93B, a one bedroom in the 12-unit buildings next to Ramona's Kitchen. Extremely clean, virtually no wear on anything. Because of the low price we got, we didn't expect much. We were shocked by how clean and roomy the unit was, with a separate bedroom plus a full size sofa sleeper in the living room/kitchen and ample storage. Kitchen was well equipped with the usuals, which were in way better than average shape for a vacation rental. Hot Springs Village has all the necessary stuff near the gate: playground, grocery, gas, drugstore, Walmart, etc. etc. It is a bit of a drive (at least 20 minutes) to Hot Springs itself and more like 30 to the south end of Hot Springs. Very uncrowded in January as it's too cold to take advantage of all the outdoor rec. We mostly wanted to go to Oaklawn.
"Los Lagos was a wonderful surprise in such a beautiful resort!"
We reserved a small one bedroom unit, like a little condo, for a full 7 days the first week of October in Los Lagos, Hot Springs Village. It really was a beautiful time of the year to be in Arkansas, and the resort just looked beautiful the way it's surrounded by all the hills and mountains. The upkeep and landscape around the huge resort area is very good and we really appreciated the manned security station at the entry. I couldn't agree more with the previous review about all the lakes and marina, hiking trails and places to walk and enjoy. This is a destination you can visit with nothing on your mind, but still find plenty to explore - and then of course, there's going into Hot Springs proper. Our little condo unit, 84b, was filled with everything we would need - dishes, soaps, towels, to make our stay comfortable. And just a few miles away from the gate was a Walmart Supercenter for anything we forgot to bring with us. We also ate some delicious food during our stay at some of the local places outside of the Village: Rockys Corner, Higdon Ferry Cafe, The Home Plate and El Acapulco. We would love to come back here for another getaway!
"A Fabulous Surprise"
Wow, this was a NICE facility. The rooms were generous and well appointed. We had a 2 bdrm, 2 bath, lockout unit that had 1 & 1/2 kitchens. It was a really interesting layout that was spacious, and comfortable. There was a deck/balcony with an electric BBQ (which we enjoyed). The fullsized kitchen was great and there was even a mini-kitchenette in the lockout. It was fun and decadent to have 4 TV sets in the unit. The clubhouse was right next door with a pool, hot tub, computer, games, craft area, and information about local attractions. There was a marina onsite with a boat launch and a fishing pier. We caught a few small ones and enjoyed just kicking-back, watching the fish jumping in the water at dusk. The local area had TONS of golf courses, good restaurants and really cool Crystal Mining. We highly recommend Ron Coleman's Crystal Mine (as recommended by the Escapes on-site staff). We came back with a carload of crystals, a ton of pictures, and lots of great memories. A car is a MUST. Everything requires driving around. There are well-paved walking paths on the facility and they extend into the Village complex (which is HUGE beyond belief) There are over 4 lakes in the Village and MILES of paths. It's Beautiful.
