Acapulco

Got off to a rocky start as our room was not ready as promised but manager more than made it up to us.... Very nice room and location, beach view with kitchenette... Will definitely be back. Only next time we will stay longer. Great breakfast, more than your average bagel although they have those... Lol

the room was just what we needed. the pictures are pretty accurate. the staff was super nice and helpful. we enjoyed the tiki bar. & the price was great ... there wasnt any hidden fees. it was a great experience.

We received exceptional service. My grandchild had an accident and the staff was more than willing to assist. I saw the manager mopping the floor. Thanks Ekta,Donna and Tabitha. We will be coming back. The amenities were great. The breakfast was very clean and fresh.

Our time at The Acapulco was great. The staff was great, the room was great and the property is great. If you are in Daytona, this is the place to stay. The breakfast is Continental but we had a small stove in our room, which made feeding 2 teenagers great and easy. We will be staying there again

When visiting Daytona Beach we always stay here. Our room was spacious with a king size bed and a beautiful ocean view. The staff was very helpful and gave suggestions as to where to eat. This hotel is clean, family friendly, and close to the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quiet and had everything you would need for a relaxing vacation with the family (or friends). Our oceanview room had a two burner top stove and a small refrigerator. There was a complimentary continental breakfast to help start our day. The pool was heated. The hotel is right on the beach. Restaurants and attractions were nearby. The staff was nice and helpful and the General Manager is awesome.

I stayed here with a group of three of my girlfriends for Spring Break. I was really nervous after reading reviews, but our room was clean and the staff treated us SO well. You can tell it's an older hotel, but they have done a wonderful job keeping it clean and keeping it as updated as they can. The pool is a great place to relax. I was SO pleasantly surprised staying here and would recommend to anyone staying in Daytona for a few days! I will definitely come back with my friends again if we ever stay in Daytona!

We recently had a very enjoyable stay at the Acapulco. We booked last minute under unfortunate circumstances and the staff were very accommodating. They made us feel very comfortable and safe. The hotel itself was very nice and welcoming. We noticed there were always staff tidying and cleaning and as a result the hotel was spotless. Our room was comfortable and nice. Bar size fridge and 2 burner stove. Breakfast each morning had a fair selection; pastries, bagels, bread, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cereal, juices, coffee, etc. The staff member who was taking care of it each morning was very friendly. The outdoor area was beautiful. Well maintained and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return myself.

I recently went there with my husband, the room was clean and did not smell. the bathroom was clean for the most part. just a little bit of rust in the tub, nothing to big. The view was awesome . the staff was friendly . had no trouble parking. overall a great experience.

From the moment I walked in the door I was impressed the staff was extremely helpful and kind even when the third party I had purchased the room from still didn't send the confirmation Laura whom works at the front desk was so helpful and was very patient with me. If more places had people like her working it would be a better world. The room was very clean and the view was absolutely amazing will definitely be coming back again

We travel to Daytona each February to get away from the cold weather of West Virginia. We feel that we have found a place that we look forward to staying at each year. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The staff members were friendly and hardworking. The beds were very comfortable. Nice get a way spot to relax or party. Boardwalk is down the street for fun and entertainment. The views from my balcony was amazing. Towels and wash cloths were available everyday.

My husband and I stayed at the Acapulco Hotel in Daytona Beach, FL for two night earlier in December. Noticed it received from very negative reviews and was a little concerned, but .. I like to make my own decisions about a place. Had a nice stay. Lobby was very nice; the staff at the check-in desk couldn't have been nicer. The room had a good ocean view. It had a small kitchenette. The rooms aren't real large, but what do we need a large bedroom for. There were 2 queen size beds, a night stand, room to walk around, a flat screen TV, a dresser, a table with chairs and a small side chair with ottoman. The balcony was small, but had two chairs and a small table. Worked for us. I wonder if the previous reviewers told the reception desk staff of their concerns. We did see a tear on the seam of the ottoman and the microwave had been cleaned so well, it had removed some glaze; told the reception desk staff who were extremely appreciative to get the info. They would see that those items were addressed immediately. The new owners are planning some renovation.

this was our second visit to the Acapulco hotel and we were not disappointed!!! as always we received the best service and a great view from our room! we love being there and the staff just make it more enjoyable!! there is 2 employees that were there both times we visited that stood out the most to us....the bar tender Niki who is the best at her job! She makes you feel so welcome and right at home...she's the girl to ask for :) then there is Nelson who always greets you with a smile and is willing to help you in any way he can! every establishment needs employees just like these two...they really make the Acapulco all that much more enjoyable and nice!

I feel bad for those who didn't have fun here but if you can't relax and enjoy the view from your room, the friendly staff, especially Eileen at the front desk, then you shouldn't stay here...I only had a 2 night 3 day stay and I wish I could stay longer. the hotel lobby is gorgeous, the pool is great..right on the beach, who could ask for more. When I arrived, check in was easy and off to my room I went. when I opened the slider, to my private balcony, I was FLOORED by the view!! it was terrific...I will be returning here again and again..

We have stayed here a couple of times. We live in Orlando and like to take a couple of days at the beach occasionally. We took our dog this time. I was concerned after reading some of the reviews, but we were welcomed and everyone was very polite and professional. They told me dogs 35 lbs and under were welcome. I told them ours was larger and was told it wouldn't be a problem. We saw a couple other dogs that were as large or larger than ours. There is a rather small area just out of the door leading to the pool area. Dogs aren't allowed in the gated area containing the deck and pool, but the grassy area has two areas complete with slightly elevated propane fire rings to enjoy in the evening. The pet friendly rooms are located on the second floor which was good because our dog had never encountered an elevator and he wasn't having anything to do with it, so I got my exercise on the stairs. My husband kept working with him and on the day we checked out, Jake calmly walked on the elevator like it was no big deal! The Acapulco is an older hotel, but our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room had a small refrigerator, stovetop and microwave. They do not offer free breakfast, but they had a decent menu. We were there the week after Labor Day so it was quiet. The server also cooked our breakfast. She was very friendly and visited with us and the one other couple in the restaurant. The pool and deck area was very clean. I was a little disappointed that while the small lounge was open Wednesday when we got there, it was closed Thursday. I was looking forward to one of their specialty drinks I have had there in the past. As we were leaving, the manager came into the lobby, petted our dog and shared pictures of his three dogs. We had a very nice time. September at the beach is great. The majority of tourists are back at work and school, so it was very quiet. I had the pool pretty much to myself one afternoon. The worst thing about September is the love bugs come out and while they are annoying, they don't bite. All in all, it is a nice place to be as a couple or with family. We will certainly be back.

My sister and I chose this hotel as it is in a quieter section of the beach, but still within walking/driving distance to the boardwalk. The hotel itself is a little dated, but it is, after all, a beach hotel. The pool was warm and inviting, as was the hot tub. Our room had a kitchenette that was well equipped. My only negative was that we got an "oceanview" room instead of an "oceanfront" room. Next time, we'll know to get the oceanfront room. :)

I was with a friend from the Cayman Islands and I decided to stay again at this hotel. The staff is awesome and they are so helpful and down to earth. The pool area the bar all this is wonderful and being a couple steps from the beach makes this place even better. This time we had a room with a kitchen and that was very nice and it can in handy. This is my third stay here and each time it's an even better stay. So will I go beck, in a heartbeat I will anytime. it's worth very penny you spend. I miss Barbara in the bar, wonderful lady. Thanks to you all for making my stay wonderful...

All I have to say is I love this place!! The pool is huge. They have a nice little bar inside the Hotel pretty spendy but usually is on vacation. Rooms are clean and nice. And every room has a view of the ocean is my favorite.

This is a nice place with plenty of amenities, right on the beach but a few miles from the boardwalk its still worth the stay, staff is friendly and it's a beautiful place to stay, I'm staying here in a few days and we're looking forward to it , love the beach views that almost every room has
