The Apple Tree Inn is a very clean and comfortable inn. The rooms are modern. The beds clean and comfortable. It is large inn with a small inn feeling. It is the only place we stay when visiting Petoskey. Rooms on the 2nd floor or higher have a nice view of the bay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast space is small but pleasant. It could use a small microwave oven. Did use the pool this trip, but last trip it proved to be clean and warm. Recommend this inn for your stay in the area.

We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

"Great find!"
We loved this hotel! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had both a fridge and a microwave in our room and loved that coin operated laundry was available (they even provided us with a laundry basket. The pool area was nice. They even had a few water wings, goggles and a ball for the kids to play with in the pool. Us parents enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. The complimentary breakfast and cookies at check in were both great.The staff were also friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here if we come to the Petoskey area again!
"A great find!"
The location is very convenient if going to Boyne Highlands, Mountain or Nub's. I was very happy to get such great accommodations for the price! There were multiple entries, so I could park close to my hotel room for easy in/out. The rooms were clean and spacious. I enjoyed a freshly made Belgian waffle and hard boiled eggs before heading off to the slopes. I plan on staying here for future ski trips!

"Clean, comfortable room with a view"
We spent a night here while in town for a company Christmas party. It was all that we expected and the limousine service to and from the party was the deciding factor. Unlike some attendees, we were able to enjoy a couple of cocktails without the worry of having to drive afterwards.
"Very nice"
We only stayed for one night, but the Apple Tree Inn was very nice. Our room was spacious and clean. There was a beautiful view of the bay from the balcony. The beds were comfortable and the parking was plentiful. The only negative I have is the front counter staff both on check in and check out (I think it may have been the same girl). She was not friendly, just indifferent like she didn't want to be there. We would, however, definitely stay again when in the area.
"Perfect Accommodations"
My stay was very comfortable. I loved the apple a day ( or more) if I wanted and the bottled water I was able to grab daily as well. Comfy beds, clean rooms, beautiful view. Centrally located to all of my wanderings those days, pretty much made this a perfect accommodation.
"Nice big rooms!! Very clean!!"
This was the first time I've ever stayed here but was very pleased with how clean and spacious the room was. It's close to the casino and downtown Petoskey and also had a great view of the bay. Staff was also friendly!
"Great view, freindly, clean, but very awkward room"
We stayed in the king Jacuzzi room.. The layout of the room is very awkward and clumsy. I don't know how else to describe it. The bathroom is very very small. I would say only 2' wide and the door opens into that space. So you practically need to stand on the toilet to open the door and get out. Very absurd.
"College Friends Roadtrip"
We had a terrific time. Loved the Apple Tree Inn. The breakfasts were great. Also loved the cookies and water. Everyone was very helpful with directions and suggestions. Loved the balcony and the outdoor patio, except the weather didn't cooperate!
"Apple Inn"
My stay there was very pleasant. The breakfast for a continental was outstanding. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay again. The view from out room was beautiful. Looking forward to coming back in the summer. The little town was very nice.
"Loved This Place"
Very clean, nicely decorated room, and big TV. I've been to other places in the area, and this place is my pick. Didn't have breakfast, but it looked (and smelled) good. Great views of Little Traverse Bay.
"GREAT PLACE TO STAY"
I was able to get a room last minute while taking a trip Up North to experience the autumn color and visit the Tunnel of Trees. The hotel was really beautiful inside and out. The view from the hill top over-looking the water was amazing! The staff was friendly and the rooms were cozy. We weren't able to get into the pool area until late, but they were nice enough to let us stay in the jacuzze past closing time since we weren't bothering anyone. If we make it back again, we will definitely be using the free limo service to the casino!
"loved our stay"
Everything was perfect except your pool and hot tub. Pool was way too cold and hot tub was way to hot so we could not even use them very disappointing. We liked everything else at Appletree Inn. We were so surprised about the limo that was an added surprise.
"Search for the perfect summer place"
My sister and I travelled to the area to begin my search for a summer home. Currently living in Ohio but wishing to get back to my roots I was able to use the Apple Tree Inn as my base of operation. The Inn is centrally located between HS & Petoskey, where I am concentrating my search efforts. The hot breakfast and friendly atmosphere was a great start and end to my day.I would definitely use the Inn again as my search continues for that "Somewhere in Time" special summer retreat.
"Up North Fall Color Trip"
This was the second time that we have stayed there. Room very clean and spacious. Love that they are pet friendly. Very reasonable in price. This will definitely be the place we stay every time we are up north.
"Lovely visit with a beautiful view"
My college roomie and I visited in early October 2016. We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. This hotel is very nice with a good breakfast. We had a view of Lake Michigan and loved the special perk of a complimentary limo ride to the movies. I would go back to Petoskey AND the Apple Tree Inn in a heartbeat.
"Cute, clean, comfortable place"
I'm always nervous when we stay at a hotel that isn't in a chain, but this one was AWESOME. It was clean, breakfast was great, they have free snacks and water in the lobby 24/7, and they are just minutes from downtown Petoskey. I will definitely stay again!
"Nice place to stay"
Nice hotel. Clean very helpful staff..Not a five star but your not paying for one either. Staff was helpful and friendly..Breakfest was very nice even had waffles... We did not use the free limo service but it was available...Hotel is within walking distance to shopping and close to some dinning...DONT GO TO JRS PUB AND GRILL....worst prime rib I ever had and table next to us sent back 3 of the 5 meals they ordered...
"We had a wonderful stay."
We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and pet friendly. All pet accommodating rooms are on the first floor with a door wall to the outside making it easy to take our little dog out. And no pet fee. Breakfast was continental, but included waffles, yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, bagels, toast and sweet rolls. Their coffee machine was not working while we were there, but they brought coffee in for the guests. The apples and autumn decor was a nice welcoming touch, making it feel very homey. We will definitely stay again.
"Great View and Price"
We stayed here the last weekend in October, so the rates were very reasonable so we splurged on a King Jacuzzi room, and it was definitely worth it! Our room was on the third floor, with a gorgeous view of the bay, large balcony, and all the amenities a standard hotel should provide! Breakfast was good - standard fare of bagels and sweet-rolls, hard boiled eggs, a fantastic waffle bar, etc. Nothing fancy. Staff was pleasant. We would definitely stay here again!
"Spotless!"
We recently spent 3 nights at the Apple Tree Inn and we're glad we did. We stayed in a standard king room on the 4th floor with a beautiful view of the water! Unfortunately it was too chilly outside to enjoy the charming little balcony. The room was very spacious, comfortable & most important to me SPOTLESS. We enjoyed the continental breakfast 2 mornings. The breakfast area was very clean & maintained. I enjoyed the hard boiled eggs & yogurt. My only suggestion is that some unsugared cereal be made available! A really nice touch was that bottled water was provided both in the breakfast room and at the desk! We loved that! We will definitely stay here again!
