I am so happy I choose this place for our week stay. The manager Homar was so nice, he knows how to deal with people and his staff was great. The place is amazing, beautiful and very clean. Our condo was a one bedroom looking over the pool just amazing. There is alot going on across the street which was great , things to do in Old Town. My overall experience at this location is more than a 10. Will be staying here from now on.

    Clean, friendly, convenient yet, out of the way. Omar & Natalie took excellent care of me. The site is close enough to the parks to access them quickly. But, far enough to get away from the Disney madness.

    "exceptional lodging for price"
    I don't think you could find a better place for the money, my wife and I spent 3 days there while going to Disney, we were surprised with the suite we received.... basically a small apartment; washer/dryer, dishwasher, large living, room dining room and full kitchen plus a great screened deck overlooking the pool. Lots going on across the street at old town Kissimmee...great car show on Friday nights. Omar the Manager took fantastic care of us... all staff we met were very friendly. the location is great also not far off of the main highway going by Orlando....lots of restaurants near by plus a large Publix grocery store within a mile. great place to stay if you want to eat at home, great location and great staff.
    "Enjoyed our stay"
    This is a nice place close enough to Disney Parks, but also a nice escape from WDW action. It's across the street from Old Town which offers restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The suites are clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds offer a relaxing atmosphere and we really enjoyed the pool area. My only recommendation if you stay here is to rent a car (there is a rental place right across the street) or utilize taxis or ber. The shuttle service to Disney (provided by an outside company) is very limited and at times unreliable. We preferred ber (download & set-up the app before vacation) since it was readily available and efficient. The cost to/ from the airport is $50-60 each way via taxi. There is a gas station and Walgreens within walking distance for limited food supplies. We also ran our bathroom fan at night for white noise, so we weren't bothered by the noise coming from Old Town. The Wifi can be slow, but it's free. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely consider staying here again.
    "Just perfect"
    I've never been to Orlando, Disney, or any of that, but decided i'd take my son and his GF for his 21st birthday. I travel a lot and as I'm not a fan of unruly kids, I try to stay in condos and similar accommodations as there tend to be fewer of them running around. Due to the proximity to the theme parks, I was well aware that the "unruly kid quotient" would be high. As such, i was looking for a property within easy driving distance of the airport, and the parks. The Barefoot Suites appeared to fill the bill. The property is gated, and therefore more secure than many similar properties. The grounds are meticulously maintained, with beautiful shrubs, lawns, and trees. There is a large pool/play area; while I didn't go there myself my son and gf said it was very nice. There is plenty of parking, and there were always friendly maintenance people. Every person who worked there was quite friendly.We were in the 6 story building. The unit was huge, two large bedrooms, one with a king, the other with a double. There were two large bathrooms with whirlpool tubs, and shampoo and all that stuff. Each bedroom had a TV, as did the the large living room. The unit also had a fully equipped kitchen. The balcony was screened in which would be great during bug season. Even the chairs in the living room were Temperpedic; very comfy. One thing I didn't know about was the proximity to an area known as Old Town, which was less than a 5 minute walk from the property. Old Town has bars, shops, restaurants, and that sort of thing. At night, they had live music and karaoke. If you are up for a good time with no driving, it's great. And it wasn't loud enough at night to keep us up. And a shout out to Homar, he checked us in, made sure we knew what we needed to know, and had what we needed. I ran into him as we were leaving, and expressed my appreciation for the quality of our visit. I also mentioned my sole complaint; coffee. The room had an old school drip coffee maker, but as a frequent traveler, I've learned not to use them. I recommended they drop a few grand a put Keurigs in each room, or offer coffee service in the lobby. Not much to complain about, but you know, coffee... Anyway, I strongly recommend the Bare Foot suites if you are in FL for a good time, or a visit to the theme parks. Aces all around.
    "Had a blast!"
    In Florida for the Daytona 500 and Disney. So really hotels/motels are just a place to crash. The suite was quite acceptable. The price was reasonable, we were able to cook and eat and stock up on needed supplies, meaning beer, vodka & sandwiches & water. We were on the old town side and I heard no noise, the fact that it's gated is a plus, I was going to give it 3 stars because the bathroom was dirty but they get a bonus star because the super fabulous Omar let us check in early..."Aye Poppy".
    "Great Pool"
    This is a small, gated resort right across from Old Town in Kissimmee and near Disney. The whole place is maintained impeccably. The rooms are freshly decorated, the bathroom was huge; it felt more like an apartment than a hotel suite. The pool was warm and lovely. It is quiet, except for the late night music coming from Old Town (bothered my husband who has bionic hearing). I was impressed with the service -- I had an issue with my bill that the manager took care of very efficiently and nicely.

    We booked a two-night stay at a special rate through TravelZoo. The room was great! Very clean, complete amenities, great location and comfortable. It has a security gate as well. An easy drive to and from Disney. Full kitchen with full-size stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Two flat panel TVs - one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The front desk personnel were friendly and accommodating. Even at full price, it would be well worth the money.
    "Great apartment-style hotel"
    We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite in the high-rise section for 7 nights and were absolutely pleased with our accommodations. Nice and spacious. Clean and well furnished - room looked exactly like the pictures on the website. Washer/Dryer was a definite plus and came in handy more than once during our stay. We were on the first floor, so our screened-in patio had a door that lead to the pool area. I would recommend staying on the first floor because of this. Allowed us easy access without always having to take the stairs/elevators. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful and check in/out was a breeze. Heated pool was great.
    "Very nice suite"
    The room was very nice for a large group. It was clean and quiet and surprisingly nice. Old Towne across the street was creepy but we were minutes away from Disney and that's exactly what I wanted! The resident gator was a big hit!

    Under new management, the pluses to this hotel are the location (lots of restaurants in the area), the professionalism of the employees, their desire to help, the cleanliness and attention to detail. The room we stayed in had a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, washer and dryer. All in all, a great experience! Special thanks to the hotel manager, Mr. Homar Velez who was extremely helpful very concerned about any issues, however small (although there were none).
    "Home Away From Home"
    Barefoot is a hidden gem in Kissimmee, Florida, just off Holiday trail and hwy 192. A luxury gated facility, the entire resort is clean, classy and welcoming!. We had a two bedroom, beautiful full service condominium including two bathrooms and FULL kitchen. The free WiFi is excellent throughout the entire property. It is right across from historic Old Town with all its touristy shops and rides. Barefoot suites is minutes away from Disney, Epcot, tons of restaurants - from fast food to high end. It is also two minutes away from highway 4 and hwy 192 which is less than 20 minutes away from Universal Studios and Sea World. We loved the "Key West" theme, colours and art work. They even boast of their small Alligator which suns itself on the shore of the properties small lake. Staff was fantastic and bent over backwards to help us in any way, including printing off our Universal tickets so we could get the best deal from the internet. Highly recommended - we'll be back !!!

    I have been staying at the Resort since it opened some years ago! My recent stay last week for a car event was great! Homar & his staff were great to deal with! It is a great location to stay at for all the car events I attend each year in the Kissimmee Area! Homar & his staff checked with me after I checked in to make sure everything was Ok in the room. The room was clean & everything was in good order. The full kitchen is really nice to have. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Kissimmee area when I'm in town.

    The resort's location is ideal: Close to the theme parks, shopping centers and restaurants. The site is fenced and there is plenty of parking. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is a washer and dryer. The WiFi is free and strong. We had to make last minute changes to our order during our stay and the resort manager helped us with kindness and a smile. Highly recommended.

    Checked in for the weekend to a bigger than expected apartment style suite. Excellent accommodations and cleanliness. Close to Celebration, Disney and Sea world. Will be returning soon. Ask for Homar!

    Hotel very close to Disney and 30 minutes from Univeral. Staff were very friendly and cooperative. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Near restaurants and shopping. Shuttle to Disney and Univiersal on a limited schedule.
    "" A GREAT Return Trip To Barefoot Suites""
    We just returned home from another stay at Barefoot Suites. It was a last minute trip and I was concerned about available openings for a suite since it is the holiday season. The manager Homar was very helpful as always. He helped with finding the room and I can not tell you how great all of the staff are! Our grandson was with us and we were all looking forward to our room after a long trip. Our suite was wonderful and we had lots of room and it REALLY feels like being at home. It is near Old Town and all of the parks. The suite was clean and comfortable. Everything you need is in the full kitchen. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our trip. Thanks to everyone there and we will be back again soon!
    "Terrific Stay - Quiet and Perfect"
    Excellent stay right across from Old Town and down the street from Machine Gun America (just opened indoor shooting range). Walgreens and Supermarket are close by (1.25 miles) and Checkers, Dennys, Burger King and various pizza places are close by. These are housekeeping condo suites so you have all of your items for cooking (we spent $40 on groceries and this was great for about 5 meals for a family of 3 and worked well) as well as a washer/dryer in the unit. The pool and hot tub are clean but the pool is not heated which was a bit cold for the December timeframe. Deer can be seen at sunset near the pool and the play structure is great for kids (there is also a friendly neighbourhood alligator in the pond next to the pool which is neat to see just leave him alone and he leaves you alone :-). The condo is gated and we were in the high-rise portion which was very quiet. Cannot comment enough about the exceptional customer service - amazing. They allowed us an early check in as we arrived at 10am and had our suite by lunch. Do not expect housekeeping services daily though - this is not the deal as you are on your own for your suite but they do supply items if needed and as stated the customer service is stellar so I recommend just speaking to them about any needs or concerns you may have. LOVED our stay and we will be back. We took a cab from the airport for $55 and then rented a car as the Avis and Budget are directly across the street from the hotel. Resort fees are reasonable and the big plus is that WiFi is accessible throughout the property - a big plus.

    We just stayed here and found this place great all the comforts of home and yet convenient to all Kissimmee has to offer, being able to cook is a real money saver when away from home. The neighbourhood is quiet at night even though old town is right across the street. We will be back again.
    "Wow Wow Wow"
    My friend and I stayed in a similiar property on our last visit to Kissimmee 2 years ago and were going to go there again but decided to try the Barefoot Suites after reading the reviews and also getting a great price with Hotels.com. We stayed there for 9 nights as the first part of a 4 State/21 day holiday, and I'm really glad we did as the place is fabulous! We had the 2 bed/2 bath apartment - that's what it was really - which was great for 2 women as no fighting over who gets to use the bathroom first. We were on the 2nd floor and our balcony overlooked the swimming pool and small lake - alas we saw no sign of the resident alligtor, tho we did look! The overall impression on walking in was ... wow! The fully fitted kitchen was great and there was a large and airy seating and dining area with a big tv and doors out onto the balcony. Two large bedrooms, each with it's own tv, with loads of storage and 2 really nice bathrooms - mine had a walk-in shower and separate toilet while my friends had a more tradional bath/shower and toilet layout. Both of the very large beds were super comfy and the whole apartment was very clean. The added advantage of having the washer/drier was great as we could do all our washing before we moved on to our next place. There was plenty of parking and electric key-coded gates in and out of the property which made it all feel very safe. The location, just off I-92 and opposite Old Town was excellent. There were loads of restaurants and shops within walking distance and a petrol station with a 7/11 at the bottom of the road, handy if you needed drinks etc. I cannot recommend these apartments highly enough and would def stay there again if we are lucky enough to visit Kissimmee again.
