As always when we travel to Orlando, we try to stay as close to the action as possible. The Baymont has always been our favorite for the location and price. This is our seventh time this year to stay at the Baymont and the year is not over yet. The rooms are large and the breakfast is great for all of the family. If you plan it right ,you can stand outside your room and watch the fireworks at Disney and not have to be in the crowd. Already looking forward to Halloween and Christmas for our next trips!

"Great Location, Nice Rooms, Polite Staff"
This hotel is one of my favorite places to stay! I think I have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times. The best thing about this hotel is its location to the Disney property. It is so close. It takes about 5 minutes to get from the parks to this hotel. This hotel is located right next to a highway but you cant hear it at all inside the rooms. This hotel is older and does need some remodeling, especially in the bathrooms, but we are pleased overall with this hotel because of the location. One of the biggest draws for this hotel for me is the mni kitchen. The area also comes with a small coffee pot. The fridge is the perfect size for a small trip.

"Awesome time!!!"
It was our 1st time staying there and we loved it. The rate was so crazy low that we weren't sure what to expect. But in the front desk the staff was great. And as soon we arrive to our room the manager call to verify that everything was alright that's a great service. When we enter the room it was huge with a fridge perfect to buy water and snacks and storage for your vacation. Also they have microwave for the people that like it. We didn't try the pool or the gym. It was near a lot's of restaurants, department stores and supermarkets. Why not a 5 star rating because the walls outside were dirty and the breakfast was horrible. Don't wake-up your family for this because it's really bad and cheap. We love the hotel but they have to work with breakfast it's better not to include it.

For the price, unbeatable. Large "mini" fridge, plenty of storage, even extra plugs for all our chargers. Bathrooms need work or I'd give it five instead of four. Very helpful, friendly staff. This was our third stay, and we will stay again next time.

We stay for a week and could not be better. Clean hotel room, nice personel, and just a short drive to everywhere. And the price was unbeatable. Great hotel for the price and allow you to spend less in the stay and more on the parks.

This is an old holiday inn in a very good location.The rooms are very big and renovated the only problem I found on my stay of 7-30-8-1-14 was minor trash outside the breakfast lobby.The lobby itself is like walking into a full service Hilton or Mariott.The courtyard is beautifull and the pool too.It has 6 floors and you can see the fireworks from disney every night around 9;30-10 pm.I will stay at this hotel again and I urge you too as my fellow travelers with kids.
"Gets the job done"
My family decided to stay here instead of the All star resorts for our four day trip to the Disney parks. Got my room through Hotwire and the price I paid was just a little over what one night at an All star resort would cost. The double queen room was very spacious with a mini fridge and freezer, lots of storage and counter space. This is not the Ritz Carlton but the rooms were decent. It serves as a place to sleep and shower, it's very close to the parks and there is a McDonald's across the road. There are also numerous other restaurants and stores near this hotel. Save money and stay here if you are planning on spending most of your day at one of the Disney parks.
"Softball Trip and Fun"
We took our softball team to the USSSA nationals and stayed at the Baymont Inn on Black Lake rd, I was pleased with the rate and the service, Chad and Trey where outstanding if you need something attended too look one of them up. It serviced our teams needs excellently, would stay again.
"EXCELLENT! ALWAYS FIRST CHOICE."
STAFF always greet me with a friendly welcome. They know me by name. I have been staying at this hotel for nearly two years off and on for usually up to three weeks at. Time. Never have had a bad experience. The beds have the pillowtop comfort that is always a bonus. Excellent continental breakfast. If I want more I go to a restaurant. My family joins me on occasion. When in town I stay at the black lake road baymont inn.

It was a very nice hotel. Great location, in the middle of shopping centers. Rooms were very clean. Great ambiances. Staff was very nice and professional. It had a really nice breakfast buffet. Continental style. the pool was very clean. Good deal for your money.
"Nice quiet room"
My daughter and I went to Kissimmee for the weekend. We were pleasantly surprised by this motel. The lobby is impressive. Our room was updated and clean, we didn't hear a lot of noise outside. We were in the courtyard area, which is nicely planted with trees and is peaceful. The first day we went to breakfast it was empty and easy to get a seat, but on Sunday there was a long line for breakfast, so keep that in mind. We ate earlier on Saturday, so maybe that's why it was a shorter line. They had cereals, waffles and pastries, plus some fruit cocktail. But the bathtub dripped constantly. Also, we got there at 4 pm and they still didn't have our room clean, we had to come back, but when we did come back at 6 pm it was ready. It's close to the magic kingdom. It's a non-smoking motel, which I liked.

I just can't wait to give a positive comments to this hotel. I slept for 7nights in this hotel. They provided excellent services. Officers were so nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and things were quite comprehensive . It's a very good one !!

It is a great recommendation to anyone who would like to go to Disney, but is not planning to stay on-site. When we arrived I realized there was only shampoo in the room & I need conditioner for my long hair. I hesitated to call the desk since it was close to midnight when we arrived. I did and within minutes they arrived with more than enough conditioner. I will definitely use this hotel again!

"Another great stay"
Once again we traveled to Disney and Universal Studios for a great fun weekend. And once again we picked the Baymont Inn and Suites. The last stay was great and we expected the same this time and we were not disappointed. The rooms were clean, the staff is helpful, and the breakfast was wonderful. We are looking forward to our next visit.
"beautiful inside!"
I wanted to give them a 5; however, when I drove up to the hotel, I almost kept on going due to the exterior of the hotel looking so dated. But, I had my 2 grandchildren and my mom in the car and we were tired. The outside of the buildings are in need of fresh paint and landscaping so I was a little leery of what the interior was going to look like. However, when I walked into the lobby, voila ... BEAUTIFUL. I was still a little leery of seeing my room; however, it was great as well. The gentleman at the front desk (Trey) was wonderful and upgraded our room to a KidSuite! My grandchildren and my mom were ecstatic about the separation in the room giving the kids some space of their own. The girls loved the pool. The landscaping in the courtyard could use some help and it is in need of exterior paint of the hotel. Also, the sign is very hard to see because it is very small. But overall, we had a great time there and will return again. My granddaughter will remember forever, because she learned to swim without her floaties in their pool !!
"Great Value, Great Price"
We booked this Baymont on Hotwire. We had a great three days. Sure it is an older building, but our room was clean and the staff was very nice. We would not hesitate to go their again. Also, it was a short drive to Disney World.
"Perfect"
I searched and searched for the perfect non-Disney hotel, reading reviews and researching... And it lead me to the Baymont. And it was pretty much perfect. The room was fine, and well set up. Staff were all super nice and helpful.... It of course is not the newest hotel around, but for the price and location you couldn't ask for much more. Wi-Fi was not the best for the most part, but we also didn't have a who;e lot of time for electronics on this vacation.

I'm not big on spending a lot of money on a hotel when we don't spend much time there, but we have had some dumps in the last few years. NOT THIS TIME!! What a nice hotel. Clean, great maid service, wonderful breakfast. Very happy and plan to return.
"Worth the money!"
We received an incredible rate via a 3rd party website. Upon arriving we were pleased the lobby was very nice and clean. Check in was a breeze and upon getting to our room we found it to be clean and spacious. I really liked the mini kitchen complete with full fridge, microwave, and sink. We brought groceries and saved money eating in the room. The beds are comfortable and I was happy the sink and vanity was separate from the toilet and shower. My husband could shower while I got ready. There was also a large TV. The hotel is very close to shopping and restaurants and about 10 minutes from Disney World. Especially Animal Kingdom. Just get back on Sherberth Road and you were there in no time. We had a 5 p.m. reservation for Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and we got there early because of the very short drive. The breakfast is the typical continental breakfast. No eggs or meat. The pool was not overly large but was just fine for us.

This hotel is in a great location for visiting Disney. I had checked it out on our last visit to the area and was impressed with the lobby and entrance area and also the rooms. Breakfast area closing at 9:00 is earlier than normal but now we know. Overall good experience!!!
"great price great everything"
We stayed here after getting a deal with a third party website and I was at first scared to stay here because of the reviews. Our four night stay was amazing and this place did not disappoint at all! The hotel was near all of our attractions and many food areas just around the corner. It was very clean and the service was unbelievable.They were all very friendly and attentive to any requests I had. I did not have any noise problems what so ever and we didn't have any problems with the parking even when we were the last guests to return for the night. The only complaints I would have is that the breakfast was disgusting but free is free. It gave our stomachs to have something to work off for until we got brunch. The breakfast included the basic toaster waffles, canned fruit, cereal, and the typical small cream cheese pastries you would find in the walmart/kroger bakery section. I am a perfectionist so I even over analyzed all the towels and the beds, and they were all spotless clean! The rooms were spacious and had a nice 2 door fridge/refrigerator. The water was always warm at all the times throughout the day and the beds were so comfortable!! There was a microwave, ironing, and safe in the room as well.The pool was very clean and the elevators were questionable at times. There was 2 good elevators when we went and 1 bad one that seemed to never want to open its doors while we were inside. We were also able to do laundry which turned out great as well. We found ourselves walking to McDonalds and the giftshops in front of the hotel one night that were also great as well. Our rooms were always clean after we returned and we always had a fresh new set of towels.The wifi is pretty bad but it was usable for me to check my email. I also found the walkway area with the lights and all the trees from the laundry area towards the pool to be charming as well. The lobby was extraordinary and looked pretty grand when you walk inside. Overall, it was a great stay and I would be more than happy to return here again! Don't let all the other reviews scare you since we honestly couldn't have been more happy with our visit! Thanks Baymont!
"perfect for our family needs"
we had a wonderful stay in this hotel. i was very concerned about staying after the bad reviews but i didnt see any evidence of the bad things. positive; The rooms where clean and spacious, the pool was clean and common areas good, the front desk where helpful and would bring towels up straight away if called, everything is right on the doorstep places to eat, shop and play (disney and universal) Negative; there could do with more lights in the stairwell and the breakfast is not great but was not important as there was every possible restaurant you can think of right outside. i would stay here again without to much hesitation

We are frequent guests at this hotel and are always very pleased with the service. Everyone that works there are always very professional and friendly. Especially Chad, the manager, Xiamara, Deysey and Kisai. We have never had one complaint in all the times we have stayed there. They all make us feel like we are at home. The kitchen staff is also very friendly and helpful especially Susanna.
"Perfect for our family needs."
I stayed here in December 2012 and will be staying again in August 2014. I didn't have any problems with the rooms. Everything was as described. Was a bit dubious the first time due to reading a few bad reviews but myself and my family didn't encounter any problems. The breakfast isn't amazing but it was free/included in the room price so I wasn't too bothered. It did the job on a morning when all we really wanted to do was get out and embrace all that Florida has to offer. Plus it is close to other places like Denny's etc when you wanted something a bit more substantial. I like the location of this hotel as it is close by to all the things myself and my family needed.

We had a great experience from the time we called and booked the hotel to the time we checked out. We did have some difficulty in finding the hotel but other than that we enjoyed our stay. The location (after we found it) was actually pretty near everywhere we wanted to go which also made it nice. Chad, the front desk manager, was very accomodating to our needs and all the desk agents were very pleasant. My son was happy that he got to sleep on bunkbeds and had his own space separate from his mom and dad (so were we)! We will definately stay again if we go to the area!
"Clean, nice, upgraded, comfy beds."
I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival and checking into my room. Spacious, clean, the beds are very comfortable. The hotel has been through a reno. Furniture is upgraded. I really like this hotel. Called and asked for towels and pillows, they had them to me within minutes, even brought me hand towels. Being in the hotel business myself, I know what a challange this can be for a hotel this size. Slight dust, but very nice. So, much so when I come back I would like to stay here and bypass Hotwire. I also like how quiet it is, older hotels have that perk.
