I stayed at the beach Colony back in June. It was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed the pools outside the indoor pool was awesome. The food in the bar was real good I really enjoyed the fish y'all have been and last but not least your front desk workers are the most awesomest people I've met in hotel history. Virginia was the best experience I've had with dealing with front desk Personnel. She was so nice and always had a smile on her face I can't wait to get back there to see her.

"Amazing check in experience"
After a 10 hour trip from Pennsylvania, we pull in to Beach Colony and proceed to check-in. We were worn out and frazzled, but upon meeting Sabrina Trawick, all of our anxieties were immediately dismissed. We were greeted with a warm, welcoming smile and an over the top personality! WOW!! She put all of our worries quickly to rest. The owners of both Forest Dunes and Beach Colony should be ecstatic to have two people the quality of Sabrina and her manager, Sharon, for their outstanding commitment to excellence! We were very impressed with them both and with Beach Colony!!
"Amazing resort...More Amazing Staff!!!"
Booked our reservation and arrived on 7-25-2016. Was so ready for a much needed vacation. Upon arrival, had a room mishap issue. After calling the front desk to figure out the problem, Sabrina was awesome and was all about making us happy! She was fast, moved us to another floor and room within 30 minutes to a superb oceanfront suite!!! We will be back! Plus, the amenities are fabulous! Views are stunning! Thank you Sabrina and Beach Colony for your fantastic hospitality!

Upon checking in on Sunday 7/23/16 we had a few issues with our room, however Sabrina was very helpful in correcting and upgrading our room issue. Sabrina was very pleasant and professional. This was our 2nd year staying at Beach Colony and would not be the last.

me and my family tried beach colony this year for the first time we usually stay at beach cove but beach colony was highly recommended through other family members i was very pleased with our room we stayed in a ocean front suite the view was great when we first check in the line was out the door that was probably the worse part but Sabrina made the first impressions of the resort a great one she did very well with explaining everything about the resort the ocean lounge had some great wings sherry the bartender was great at making drinks request sherry if you ever go on Saturday i got a steak which was very delicious my room seem to be updated i was very happy about that our maid service came everyday got our trash and gave us new towel i wish i remember the maid name she was very polite and professional this was our first time at beach colony and certainly not our last thank you for a great family vacation

Your front desk workers are the most Pleasant people I've ever met in a resort. Virginia, one of your front desk workers, She was very friendly and nice to talk to you and keep a smile on her face. And Sabrina as well she was one of your front desk workers, She was a pleasure to be around. You all have a awesome team at the front desk.

The staff was wonderful, the rooms were clean and the room service was very good and pleasant, the pool area was very comfortable and very clean, the prices of the food were very reasonable and made it easy and fun, access to the beach was short and comfortable, the foot water washer returning to the hotel from the beach was very refreshing, the parking wasn't comfortable but once you get the point it becomes easy. outside the rooms there is a lot of noise from the AC units, the rooms are a bit small but very fanciable,
"perfect fit for a family vacation"
the parking lot was too tight, the room was dated BUT the location of the hotel, the staff, the beach , the plan of the surrounding area were AMAZING. LOVE the shells cleaner sink, love the small intimate feeling around the pools with daily entertainment. Love the ice cream shop next to the pool ,LOVE the hammocks provided by the hotel, the trees that cast a perfect shade any time of the day. I will come back i wish i could stay much longer.

Great experience from the time of check in to check out. I love that they had many pools on the premise, located on the beach, The staff was awesome, friendly, they were on top of everything making sure everything was working correctly. The rooms were clean, working properly. They had every supply you need in the kitchen. Thank you Sabrina for helping us check in and being so honest, we love your attitude, continue to do what you do. We will definitely be back for our next vacation. This was a great place to stay, my family had a great time.
"Great staff / on the Beach!"
There was so much chaos when we arrived We almost thought about cancelling. We were booked on 18th floor and my Spouse is afraid of heights. I called the front desk and I think I spoke to Brittany. Even though there was a huge line, she patiently rebooked us on a lower floor and held a key for me. The staff is wonderful and there are so many kid activities during the day. The beach is only a small walk away. At first I thought it was going to be Horrible there but it was just the opposite. My son loved it and that's all that really matters! Also.. When we needed more towels a young girl who looked like The kids activity coordinator actually took the time to bring them to me instead of bothering housekeeping!
"Beach Trip"
We had such a nice stay here!!! So relaxing & the pics online do not do justice for this place. Our room was so nice & the balcony was huge!! From the room to the pool area, everything was so nice. Loved the food at the onsite restaurant, the DJ by the pool was fun & had activities for the kids & how can I forget the seashell wash station. You can tell this place strives for excellence, the major & minor details, they have it covered. This was our first time staying at this resort & we will be back for sure!
"Wonderful Family Vacation"
We came with the family for 4th of July fireworks. We had a wonderful time, staff was quick and attentive, We love Lenay! We stayed in unit 1504 and it was updated and very well maintained. Housekeeping done a wonderful job at keeping it clean and we always had fresh towels. They have 2 pools, a main one with a DJ and another more quiet one. Both great options when you have kids. I thought it was a great mix of couples and families with kids in the main pool. Our drinks at the Oceans Lounge came fast and the bartenders were GREAT! We loved the view. We will definitely be back!

I went here with my family and we had an amazing time. Our rooms were all great! We were really impressed with our maid, who was the best we have had so far, her name was Helen. Great view over looking the ocean, you can hang out on the balcony and watch the waves. It was a relaxing and fun vacation and made it better to be right by the ocean.

When our maid Helen was on duty our room was always serviced promptly and very well I can't say enough about the job she did especially while having such a great personality and disposition. Thank you Helen! The elevators can be a bit of a pain but all around a really great place to stay.
"good location, friendly staff"
July is a hard time to find a hotel in Myrtle Beach. After failing to find vacancies near the south end, I resorted further north ending up with Beach Colony. The price for our stay was a little high but like I said, its July and all the hotels are high during this peak time. As far as the hotel, it was a little dated but the room provided ample space and standard accommodations. All the staff from the cleaning ladies to the "pool and grill" staff were very friendly. The pool area was great and provided grilled items, burgers, hotdogs, and etc, at a fair price. Al in all a great place to stay. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, I think the price was just a little higher than other luxury hotels. But again, its July and its Myrtle Beach. If asked, would I recommend this hotel? it would be yes and you get what you pay for most of the time.
"Great Resort -- Worst Parking Deck I've Ever Experienced"
We had a room on the 17th floor overlooking the ocean. The furnishings and bedding were nice and the layout of the unit was efficient and allowed for privacy in the bedroom. The pools are well-maintained. The best part was that a hotel employee was stationed at the lazy river to ensure that the rules were followed, so children were not allowed to run around in it. Everyone had to be in a tube, so adults could truly relax. I have never encountered a more ridiculous and inconvenient parking deck. It has a single lane, so if a car is coming in another direction you must back out of its way.

We really love the stay here it was our second year at beach colony and it was great the staff is very friendly and our room was great the pools were always clean and around the hotel was always nice and clean the walk way to the beach was cleaned every day plenty of places to clean off the sand after walk on the beach
"Beach Colony"
Everyone was very accommodating. Great place for a family vacation. The location is good, close to Broadway at The Beach and Barefoot Landing. There are only two pools and they're not of great size, the hot tub and lazy river are nice. Chad the bartender was excellent and friendly, he made the trip a memorable one!
