This resort has underwent recent updates, and it is very nice for families! It's on the beach with great views of the ocean. They have kids' activities, several pools, food and snack spots, and wonderful customer service! Full-size fridge, sink, and microwave made easy lunches a snap and helped us spend more time on the beach. We highly recommend this spot!

"Nice family vacation"
Just got back from vacation, Beach Cove was a nice resort, we had a 1 bedroom executive suite, which had two queen beds in the bedroom, which you don't get at many places anymore, so it was perfect for my husband and I and my college graduate daughter! The bedroom was separate from the living space, it had a couch, full size refrig, which was very nice, and a little kitchen, very comfortable room! The resort was clean and friendly! We had a balcony with a wonderful view of the ocean! Tracey at the front desk was wonderful, when we arrived in myrtle beach from Connecticut it was 11:00am we had driven all night, our room of course wasn't ready because check in is at 4pm, but we just wanted to let them know we were in town! Tracey took the time to get our paper work ready and she took my cell number to call when we could check in, let me tell you she was wonderful, she called 1 hour later and said to come back our room is ready, woohoo 12:00! There were some things that could be updated and some maintenance done, but it's very miner things, all in all it was a great place to stay for 10 days!

Beachcove is a wonderful family-oriented resort convenient to Barefoot Landing, House of Blues & Alabama Theater....simple accommodations all oceanfront. Great atmosphere without the hustle & bustle of the southern Myrtle Beach.
"Always a nice getaway"
We've been coming here for several years now. Always nice. Very convenient location within walking distance of several places. Right on the beach. Good food at the restaurants with reasonable prices. Plenty of pools and hot tubs to choose from. Lots of activities for kids and families during the summer. The bar at the pool is nice and the grill at the pool serves good food. Staff is great and security always wanders through to make sure everyone is ok. Rooms are very nice and convenient and have plenty of things to use in the rooms.

"Fun Family Place To Stay"
I've taken my kids to this resort every year for almost ten years. Unlike most Myrtle Beach hotels, this resort reminds me of something you might find in Cancun. The outdoor pool area is simply amazing. There are three outdoor pools with a lazy river. There is also an indoor pool for those ugly rainy days. On our last visit the main floor was getting an entire make over. I'm sure it's much nicer today. I don't give the Beach Cover an excellent rating because it's fancy, I don't give it an excellent rating because it's the nicest place I've stayed. I give this resort an excellent rating because overall it has exactly what a family wants to have a wonderful time at Myrtle Beach without breaking the bank. My kids have chosen this resort to visit year after year from when they were very little up to this day. Now my grand kids choose the Beach Cove. It is located within walking distance to the Barefoot Landing which is much like Broadway at the Beach but much quieter. If you take your family here don't expect it to be a 5 star resort, just expect it to be a very enjoyable time.
"Girl time"
The beach cove was great place to stay and staff was charming . Rooms where clean and cozy just like home. My daughter and I felt safe in the our room and in parking garage.The only problem was I didn't stay longer. Next time I with bring the entire family excellent place for smaller children.

The employees, the 5 pools, the great suite, they were all wonderful! Breakfast buffet was great & pizza was delicious! Plenty of room in the pools & always chairs available. Our grandchildren loved everything about it. Up where the traffic isn't bad at all, but close to many great restaurants. We hope to stay here next year!
"Family fun"
Love the place wish that guest would not hog the seats around pool and go to ocean makes for no seating around pool. Wish had music playing past 4 and you can only hear it if you sit near the Tiki bar which is hard if you have kids who play I the pool by Lazy River. But this staff are wonderful the pools are great the views are the best.

We went to the beach cove years ago and decided to see other resorts... We missed the beach cove outside!!!! Loved our stay everything was perfect and the weather could not have been any better!!! We will be back next year!!!! The pool area outside is awesome!!! It's a definite to give this place a try!!!
"Flexible Dates"
Our family likes to come a couple of days early to the beach prior to our weekly rental starting. We are grateful that the Beach Cove allows for such reservations to occur during the summer time! The online process is easy to make a reservation, the staff is always friendly and the pool area is just what we need after driving 7 hours with two children! Thank you!
"Very nice resort in a great spot away from the craziness"
My wife and I went back to Myrtle Beach for a second time a month ago. Last time we had stayed in the middle of the action in MB so we decided to change things up a little bit and try North Myrtle Beach. I ended up finding a great deal for Beach Cove and after doing a good amount of research it became the choice for us. I can speak on the behalf of both of us in that we were very pleased with our stay at Beach Cove. The outdoor pool area has several large pools and there are several jacuzzi's. There is a small outdoor bar in the area as well that made excellent drinks that were perfect to have while we were relaxing on the beach. The room we had was a very good size and had plenty of room for the both of us. The beds were actually in a bedroom type setup where it was seperated by walls from the rest of the room but had pull-back shutters on the side facing towards the glass sliding door leading to the balcony. We had a great view of the ocean from our balcony and the balcony was located on the other side of the sliding door from a near-full kitchen that came in handy for us. The only two potential downfalls we experienced was that the resort didn't have a gift shop of some sorts (which is shocking considering I would think this would be a big money maker) when I wanted to grab a couple of quick things and that the elevators were a tad on the slow side. These two things weren't a big deal and all the other positives easily trumped the very few negatives. When we make our way back down to MB, we will definitely look to stay at Beach Cove again.
"A good experience"
We enjoyed our stay at Beach Cove. We had a three bedroom, two bath condo with a fully equipped kitchen. It was clean and very comfortable. The staff was helpful and respectful. We enjoyed the choice of pools and the kids had a blast in the lazy river. My only complaint's are that the elevators are very slow and in need of maintenance, the game room was very expensive and the hotel ran out of toliet paper so we had to make a trip to walmart to get some. All and all it was a nice experience and we will book again in the future.
"Vacation week of 7/4"
Though my wife and I chose to go the most crowded and hottest week of the summer (July 4) Beach Cove Resort did not disappoint! Our room was clean the views were incredible, and the maid service was great! Yes the slow elevator reviews are correct, but other than that I really cannot complain!

All rooms are ocean front and even the one bedroom is spacious. The only issue we have is there are only 2 elevators per building. Great place to stay. This was our 4th year and we plan to continue coming to Beach Cove.

The resort is clean, the staff is friendly, the location is fantastic. Our room had been updated and all of the furniture in the living room was brand new. My kids love it here. This is our 3rd visit in 2 years. They always want to go to Beach Cove.
"Family Fun and friendly folks at Beach Cove Resort"
We snagged a last minute Tuesday-Friday deal at Beach Cove. We'd never stayed here before, but have been coming to the Myrtle Beach area for years. Several friends had stayed at Beach Cove and said it was nice, so we gave it a try. First off, the staff were friendly from check in on. Ms. Marjorie was our housekeeper and she was super nice and very attentive to our needs. The room we stayed in 911 in tower A had two queen beds along with a queen sleeper sofa. Beds were very comfortable and the view of the pools and beach were great! Rooms were well appointed, not a five star resort, but better than average for southern beach resort. One disappointment was the wi-fi connectivity. It was weak at best during our stay. Maybe lower floors have better connection? The resort had several pools and a lazy river along with two hot tubs. All were clean although the lazy river was like the slowest current ever lol...a true lazy river. Parking was in a garage which was right across from the lobby. We lucked out and were able to find spaces close every time. This was a family get away, dad, mom, and two 15 year old teenage boys. We all enjoyed our stay and would stay at Beach Cove Resort again.
"Extremely friendly"
Everyone in the wait staff is so nice. The resort is clean and offers tons of fun amenities for people of all ages. After missing maid service in the morning, margery went out of her way to make sure that we were accommodated later in the day with plenty of towels fresh towels. She was so amazing. We will certainly be staying here again next time we're in town!

My wife and I were at the Beach Cove Resort recently and were so impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the lady on the front desk. Her name is Debbie Eudy and she is certainly an asset to Beach Cove Resorts.
"Clean and Great Ocean views"
We stayed at Beach Cove Resort for 2 nights. Check in was easy, the room was clean, larger than we had thought and every one was friendly (both employees and guests we had come in contact with). The lazy river was nice and relaxing. The kiddie pool was closed (sad because that's the only one my 2.5 yr old wanted to go in). The breakfast buffet was awesome! eggs, grits, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, waffles, French toast, potatoes, fruit! Worth the price!! The room had a great view of the ocean and it was very convenient being so close to the ocean. I loved that there is a parking garage attached to the resort. Beds were comfy. Only downside was just having to wait for the elevators, but it wasn't too bad! It is super close to Barefoot Landing. It was a great trip (it was our first family vacation) and we loved it! Would stay again!!
"Couple w/ 2 small children"
We stayed at the Beach Cove Resort for the first time last week. The room was nice and clean although the furniture was a bit worn. I'm reading a lot of reviews that are saying the housekeeping was bad, we had no trouble with the housekeeping. When we would come back to the room after being at the beach we always came back to clean towels and our room had been straightened up and trash taken. Our children loved the multiple pools and lazy river. The wifi was slow as well, but we were on vacation and spent most time at the pool and beach so it was no big deal. Would definitely stay here again.
"Bethesda Baptist Youth Group"
I took a total of 59 students, adult leaders, and staff to Beach Cove Resort in North Myrtle beach. Their sales staff were incredible to work with and bent over backwards to make our trip a success. There catering staff cooked for 59 people all week and the food was incredible. their friendliness and service was second to no one. They did a them each night and it was served hot and on time. I would highly recommend you let them cater your meal for you while you visit Myrtle Beach. The catering team even catered to a vegetarian and glutton free student all week as well. I can not say enough great things about their sales staff, catering staff, and their guest services. When you bring a group to visit North Myrtle Beach, i would highly recommend you staying at Beach Cove Resort. One example of their friendliness is the entire sales staff came out and took photos of our entire group on check out day. again best and most friendly staff in Myrtle Beach. Don't believe me check them out!!! The only negative I can share about this hotel is the elevators can be a little slow at times, which made the check out process a little longer than expected. Other than that the hotel was fantastic and the service was incredible.
