Beachside Motel

...on the beach. Very efficient check in and friendly desk agent. The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Nice views of the Atlantic and the beautiful beach there. They need to fix that on their websites. Not a big deal though. Overall, a very nice stay!

My boyfriend and I have stayed twice at Beachside now, once with our 3 boys and we had a weekend alone also. I found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. If you are traveling with kids, the kitchen is awesome to save money and prepare meals! And the best part is the view in the morning from the balcony. I found every person we've dealt with at the front desk to be so pleasant. Very nice hotel, highly recommend!!!

This hotel doesn't look like much from the street, but the room was extremely comfortable, and $99 a night right on the beach. Everything was sparklingly clean. The "kitchenette" was actually a full sized stove, full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot, with a cabinet full of dishes. There were more than enough towels in the bathroom, plenty of pool towels, extra blanket and pillows, plenty of closet and dresser space. The bed (we had a king size) was the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in. There were plenty of easy to reach outlets for charging our phones and such. The pool area overlooks the ocean. The staff was kind, cheerful, and very helpful. We will certainly stay here again. The room coffee provided is yucky, but they keep coffee in urns downstairs 24 hours a day and the lobby coffee is quite excellent. There is no breakfast at all, but there is a vending machine with cinnamon rolls and pop-tarts, which was fine with us.

We have been coming to Daytona for several years as we have two daughters who go to college in the area. In that time we have stayed at many different places at different times of the year. Beachside has the friendliest staff that we have encountered. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette and a king size bed on the ocean side. The room was clean and perfect for what we needed during this stay. The beach in this area is nice and there is beach service. The ice cream trucks also makes it way up and down here frequently. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We just got back from spring break vacation. We had a great , fun time at Beachside Motel! Staff are great, Crystal checked us in swiftly ,Kiera (sp?) went to our room to help assist with Internet within a few minutes after calling her. The room is clean, kitchenette a big plus. Will definitely return.

I would stay here again. The room was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to go to sleep hearing the sounds of waves (I kept the sliding door cracked open). Looking forward to my next trip!

Great location right on the beach with access and a heated pool, a room with a king, stove, microwave, toaster, fridge, table, and all the utensils for a stay, private bath, balcony, washer dryer in the basement, and most important, a friendly accommodating staff. just north of the dunlawton bridge to port orange and centrally located in the drive on shore point. We arrived around noon and welcomed even thought check in was 3pm. spent 2 nights and were comfortable the whole time..bed was fine, plenty of hot water in the bath and coffee in the lobby 24 / 7....not a 5 star but well worth the money for a comfortable, inexpensive CLEAN place to stay.

This exact time last year my fiance supervised me with a weekend away. When we first pulled up I was not sure, due to I have always stayed at larger hotels in Daytona. The Staff was so friendly, especially with us arriving around 10 at night. Check in was quick and easy. When he sent us down the hall to our room I was thinking Great no view! But the door opened and what a View. I literally could lay in our King Size bed and see the waves crashing. PERFECT...Clean room, nothing fancy. But just comfy. Beds and all. I truly did not want our weekend to end. Only reason We are not there this coming weekend, they were booked. Only had street view available. I am a girl that has to have ocean view. I will be back to this hotel, I loved it!

I stayed here for 3 days. Easy to find and a car park right out front made things easy. Fast friendly check in. My room was ready early and the staff were genuinely pleased to let me check in early. It is true this hotel needs some TLC in places but the place was clean and there were workmen repairing things in the car park. The corridor I was in was freshly painted. On day 2 a guy was measuring up for new carpet in the elevator. The owners obviuosly care a lot about the property. It is not a characterless motel like your average"chain" place which is why I loved it. My room, 402 was beachside. A huge king bed which was very comfortable. Lots of storage space in the room, table and chairs, small bathroom, with great water pressure. The bathroom is dated but it was very clean and everything worked. Fast internet connection. Easy to use. The room has a large fridge, sink, plates and dishes for 2. A cooker with oven and hob also. The fridge looked new,the oven less so but it was clean and worked. A great place to fix breakfast, sandwiches, small meals. The more than compensates for the lack of breakfast being provided. Coffee in the lobby was a nice touch. This motel is excellent value and provides clean and comfortable accommodation with friendly staff. Would I return? Absolutely yes.

Property was clean but was showing some signs of age. Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location and extremely affordable. Great location, staff, pool, and beach access. I'd recommend this to fellow travelers.

nice little older hotel, very quite, room was clean and check in was a breeze even though we were early, always someone at the front desk to help and were very pleasant,could use some updating, but for the price compared to other places it was a good value, ocean front room with a great view, clean pool and direct beach access, i would very much recommend

Last minute trip, so i pulled in and it was quiet and small but clean. Staff was excellent and personable,the room simple and super clean. We had a great time. Staff made it very memorable. We are Already planning a return trip. For the money it's great!

My mom and I stayed there this past month for the second time. Hotel changed ownership and new staff was very pleasant and helpful! Our safe was already locked and maintenance came and unlocked it. Also chair with no wheel and they fixed it. Also gave us several books for things to do and got a free copy of newspaper every morning.

Christine at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. Courtney, in housekeeping, made us feel welcome from the get-go and asked us to let her know if we needed anything. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including the beautiful ocean front view. The pool was large enough to accommodate us and several families with children. Everything was wonderful. I've lived in Volusia Co for 25 years and have stayed in hotels on the coast countless times. The Beachside Motel is now our new go-to place for a quick getaway close to home

My husband and I drove down from Kentucky for our 5 year anniversary and I booked the hotel last minute and I'm glad I found it. Great price and the staff were super friendly. I loved the fact that is was right on the beach with ocean view room. Very reasonably priced and if your not wanting to stay down in the busy part of Daytona beach it's perfect.

My children and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate my son's birthday. I have been going to Daytona for years, so this was not my first time to the area. This hotel is located in Daytona Beach Shores which is my favorite part of Daytona. It is more quiet and family-friendly. From the outside the hotel is pleasing to the eye and not "scary" as some Daytona hotels can be. The man that greeted us for check-in was super nice and very accommodating. Check-in was easy and we were in our room in less than 5 minutes. The hotel is dated and like most beach motels/hotels has a musty odor in the lobby, hallways and elevator. There is probably not much that can be done about this and it isn't offensive, just noticeable. The room was a great size and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. We were directly beachfront and we could see for miles from our balcony. The room and bathroom were both very clean. There was no breakfast or restaurant, but there was a stove/oven, full size refrigerator and sink in the room! There was also dishes, utensils and glass ware. We had two queens and this worked just fine for my two teens and myself. The oceanfront pool was clean, cool and not too crowded. Throughout our visit, there were 3 different employees at the front desk. ALL of them were polite, friendly, informative and delightful. :) There was always fresh & delicious coffee in the lobby and the hotel is very near two major grocery stores (Publix & Winn Dixie), restaurants and the historic Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. The hotel is located on the part of the beach which allows driving, so please be aware of this if you have small children. This was such a great place and we will definitely be back during our next visit to Daytona. Thank you!

Me and family stayed here for four nights normally we spend more money stayed many places but spent a lot of money taking family to Disney world so looking to stay for less in Daytona so was worried about staying here we got two rooms together with kitchen had three large beds very clean the view was amazing and can't say enough about the staff they are so sweet hated to leave was like staying with family when we left I got a call from them saying we left some souvenirs from Disney in the room said they would mail them to us never had that happen before what a great place must stay we will again thank you guys for being so great

I flew in for NC to surprise my sister for her birthday. My 2 nieces booked and overnight stay here. OMG, amazing, friendly, clean place. It is dated but that is what makes it great. Will positively be back and recommend this place to everyone!

My wife and I stayed at the Beachside Motel in Daytona as a surprise weekend "get-away" for me. She didn't even tell me where we were going till that morning and got in the car. We were delightfully surprised by the Beachside Motel. We stayed in a King room with all the amenities we could ask for. If you're looking for the Ritz...this isn't it...this is a quant little motel on the quiet end of Daytona. It was clean, tidy and comfortable. All the rooms face the beach and overlook the pool. We couldn't have asked for a better view. We will definitely be back to leave the "real world" behind for a few days and just "chill". Thank you Beachside Motel for a wonderful weekend. S&Dsolo

I can't say enough good things about this Motel. The staff was great! Our first night the air conditioner in our room wasn't working and we informed the front desk. He checked it out right away. There wasn't much they could do that night because the hotel was full but the next day they offered us another room or said they could replace the air with a new unit. The new unit is what we chose and it was done the next morning very quickly. The room was very clean and they supply everything you need in the small kitchen like dishes, silverware, dish towels, and soap. We were on the second floor and we had a wonderful view and it was actually very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful small motel, right on the beach. Clean and spacious rooms. A price that all can afford. Will and the staff are the best. Will is right there, right on top of things. Always a smile, and ready to please. Great location, everything easy to get to, walking or driving. Can not wait to return.
