We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

Written Review

"21st birthday"
Me and a couple of friends spent the night for my birthda. It was a really great hotel and very good location. Vallet was really fast, whenever we called. I liked the restaurant downstairs, it was very convenient.
"This time to see the Saints"
Whether you're there to see the Saints game party down on Bourbon Street. The hotel was clean end very professional you're right in the middle of everything this is the place to stay if you want to have a great time that won't break the bank
"Christmas in New Orleans"
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Had a problem with my heat on the first night. Called at 6:30 am the next morning and they came right up and fixed the problem. The TV didn't work well with the remote from the bed, but didn't spend much time in the room.
"Our first "home" in the US"
I am from the Philippines and it's my first visit to the US. My husband attended a convention in New Orleans and we were billeted at the Blake. The staff at the reception, especially the two Filipina ladies named Ejay and Joyce were very friendly (am I biased being a Filipino? :D). Their supervisor helped us in all we needed also. Excellent staff indeed! The maintenance guys were also very helpful and courteous and assisted us with all of our requests. I loved our room, it was well maintained, clean and very homely :) The hotel's location is perfect as it was a stone's throw away from the French Quarter! I would definitely go back to the Blake if I ever go back to New Orleans again!
"LOCATION GREAT FOR WALKING TO FRENCH QUARTER"
Stayed at the Blake before and after a cruise. The first stay was on the sixth floor. Very large corner room on St. Charles. Our room was clean but not quiet. The St. Charles trolley runs past on a regular basis and the single pane windows do not dampen the sound. On our return we stayed on the ninth floor. Very quiet in comparison. The Blake has a great location, great staff and a very good restaurant. Would have given it a 5 if noise level was better. I would stay again but on higher floor each time.
"Wonderful hotel"
Me and my girlfriend stayed there last november and i like this hotel. The facility was awsome and the room that we stayed is wonderful. The housekeeping is always checking and they also got nice gym facility. And the front desk ladies that always greet you are superb. We love this and for me i will never hesitate to stay here again when i visit new orleans again.
"The Blake Hotel New Orleans"
We are from Los Angeles and when we arrived at the airport we happen to meet Ms. Daffne Ruglas manager of the Blake Hotel who very graciously offered to take us to the hotel. She made our check in very fast and even gave us complimentary dinners. Our room was very nice well maintained and beautiful. From the front desk to the cleaning staff they were very friendly and when we asked about locations they knew exactly how to get there and helped us set up a tour route. It's a beautiful Hotel located in a prime location and with a little walk, a streetcar, carriage ride or car every location seems very close and easy to get to. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast in the Hotel cafe which we recommend. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Blake Hotel to anyone traveling to New Orleans.
"Excellent value and convenient location"
The standard room I had was clean, quiet, and had a view overlooking Saint Charles Ave. The location was great for me because it was within a comfortable walking distance to the docks and the scenic French Quarter. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
"Perfect Location"
Hospitable, Helpful staff check in was a breeze...The Blake Hotel was a wonderful central location with in walking distance of Super Dome, Canal & Bourbon Street and World War II Museum and on St Charles with its Trolley took us right up to the Audubon Zoo . The Blake Hotel was Modern & clean. Wonderful visit
"Awesome hotel"
We had a large group stay at the Blake for the Workboat Show. It is modern, clean and very convent to the Convention Center and all the attractions. The restaurant and bar were great. The staff was very polite and extremely attentive to any need we had. Some of our group have already asked about coming back to the Blake. I stay there almost every time I come to New Orleans.
"World-class kindness and assistance"
Recently, I was on a business trip to New Orleans and made a package reservation through the airline to the Blake Hotel. It's had good reviews but nothing prepared me for the delightful room and the superior friendliness of the staff. My bright and airy corner room overlooked Lafayette Square and the famous trolly line. On my last night in New Orleans, I was pick-pocketed in the French Quarter, leaving me penniless and without credit cards or identification. The amazingly helpful staff, offered me directions to the bus that would take me to the airport, snacks and drinks, and the manager on duty actually gave me money for the bus fare. I've stayed in much more expensive hotels but never experienced better service. Outstanding, the Blake Hotel deserves all 5 stars!
"The blake"
Room was fine. Probably not the best idea to put me next to the Hampton college sorority reunion in the next room. They were having a blast. Me not as much. But eventually booze and tiredness caught up and they went to bed. Couldn't get to pissed, I was younger once too., but a couple of these ladies had some booming voices and probably very little awareness of how loud they are. Breeon our front desk clerk was sweet and sent us to a place that had good food. Really nice and friendly. Hotel is a little under a mile to "the action" in the French quarter, but easily doable just one really busy intersection to cross. Clean lobby, you will pay around 50 dollars just to park your car, ouch....not a big fan and seems like a little bit of a gouge. 3 dollar coke was a tad ridiculous as well. Rooms are small but well cared for.
"Wonderful Customer service"
We were welcomed with open arms! They staff was very nice and friendly. The front desk supervisor Bree found out it was my moms birthday and came up with a little gift basket and champagne to celebrate! The front desk agent Breeon was also very sweet and helpful! Would totally come back, we were treated like family! Thank you :)
"Great time"
The Blake was great. The front desk clerk was friendly and knowledgeable about New Orleans. He gave us great pointers on what to do and what not to do during our stay. We had a great time and knowing we were staying at a hotel that had been there for years was exciting. I recommend staying here
"Nice, quiet hotel outside the French Quarter"
A bit away from the general depravity of the French Quarter and on the way tot he Garden District, this hotel offers a lot of advantages. Minutes from the river, next to Lafayette Park, and across from the Federal Reserve (in case you need to make a withdrawal).
"Good hotel"
Nothing special. The ladies up front were VERY nice but they mixed up our folios so that was a but frustrating. We stayed in the 5th floor between the 2 elevators. We had a St Louis street view so we could hear the trolley passing by at night. The rooms were clean and pretty plain. Wasn't cheap but then again not sure how it related to the other room rates for that specific weekend. We needed something in our room and maintenance was very quick to respond.
"Good location"
I stayed at the Blake Hotel for a New Orleans Saints football game. The hotel has a great location for a good football weekend. It is just a few blocks from the French Quarter and not too far from the Superdome. It is also right on the streecar line.
"Great getaway weekend"
The property is located within walking distance of just about everything and for those places not within walking distance there is a street car stop right across the street. The room itself, we stayed in the suite, was roomy, bright and clean. The staff, especially Bree and Breeon at the front desk were always cheerful and helpful with great recommendations on dining. "NOLA Easy"
The Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the French Quarter. The lobby is bright and inviting. Elevator is a little slow, but not a problem overall. We stayed on the 11th floor and the view was great. Room was clean and modern. Bathroom water pressure and temp was great. Overall a great choice of hotel.
"Great Stay"
Business trip to New Orleans and The Blake was perfect for me. Good location near business and hot spots. Room was neat with updated furniture. Hotel was showing some age but service made up for any issues. I would stay here again.
