The bellboys, the concierge, the housekeeping was all very good: people were very polite and extremely cheerful. Food was excellent (and my husband and I are both foodies).. the drinks were great, and we enjoyed the mimosas that were served to us in our palapas on the beach. The specialty restaurants were good.. particularly liked the Asian and went there twice in 5 days. We ended up spending a lot of our time at the Mexican and Italian restaurants. Overall, we had a really good experience at this resort.

"Tropical home away from home but more luxurious"
We have been coming to Casa Dorada for 4 to 5 weeks per year for six years. The management and staff are most welcoming and gracious. Many seem like family to us. The location is wonderful as you can walk to the marina, town and restaurants. The hotel itself is very well appointed and maintained and every room has a world class view of the Sea of Cortez and the famous rocks which appear in almost any photo depicting Cabo
"Cristian - Manager on Duty."
This was our second time to the resort. First was a couple years ago and last was a couple of months ago. This place keeps getting better and better. The location is awesome with the Mango Deck, the office, and the Hacienda. Right on the beach and lots to do. I have to give a special shout out to "Cristian Cardoso" - Manager On Duty. The guy is awesome. He took care of us the first night for something out of his control and then followed up with amazing service for the rest of our stay. Christian also found an electronics store that either had a battery for my Note 4 or could repair it on very short notice. It is so nice when you have someone you can get this level of help from while you are in another country. He went above and beyond and we look forward to going later in the year. Thanks buddy!
"1st class experience"
All was good and right here. Food, staff, pool, the entire "Tamale!" We love this place. No complaints whatsoever. Being centrally located near the Marina allows for easy access to restaurants in the area. Good recommendations from the staff about local places to eat.
"Paradise in Mexico"
This is immaculate nice clean pools , hot tub , beach very close . the food was great the rooms were superb and very clean the beds were very comfortable . This place is amazing I would recommend staying there . We had great service by all the people working there . The Concierge was great for setting up dinner plans.
"Best Kids Club (Casa Kidz) in Cabo"
The staff at Casa Dorada really bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable! Zuzet at the kids club is amazing and goes out of her way to make everything so fun for the kids. Fernando the pool Conceirge is fantastic and did a great job making all of our dinner reservations and the entire staff by the pool always made sure we had drinks and food as needed. Javier and Esther at the spa desk were also fabulous in helping us book our appointments. The guys who handle the towels are also amazing and always helped us with umbrellas or setting up our lounge chairs at a moment's notice. Also the restrooms by the pool were always spotless and clean. The only reason why I gave the property 4 stars instead of 5 is the hotel is in need of renovations. The spa and gym area were closed for renovations and moved to hotel rooms, and no one told us about this ahead of time and it did not appear that anyone was working on these improvements during our stay. They will need to redo the pool deck above the spa in order to fix the leaking water problems. Also, the plumbing and marble floor in our room desperately needed repair. If the hotel renovates all of the rooms and repairs the root of the spa/gym then I think it will once again be a 5 star resort.
"Best spot on Medano Beach"
Casa Dorada calls to us all year long and we can hardly wait to get back next December (our anniversary). This year was awesome again. First off, the people and staff are just so friendly. We stayed in PH -10 with another couple the first week and moved to PH-9 the next week. Now the penthouses in this resort are fantastic. What a view of Lands End !! But honestly, there is not a bad room at the Casa Dorada. They all face the same view. We are morning risers and love our coffee nudges and sunrises. Love to take in Cabo from the generous decks all morning. Then to the beach for breakfast at the Office or Omega. both great! love to eat with your toes in the sand and the waves 15 feet from your table . Just awesome ! The Beach is the place we love to be. the beach waiters are great. Silvia is a doll and Martin is so friendly.."oh what the hell " I;ll be saying that for a couple weeks.The pools are great too but we love the beach. We make our own drinks because we like them the way we like them, but we buy beer on the beach and at the pool. The water is great. Cold ? No way.. but then again, I'm from the Pacific Northwest. Towel guys David, Emilio, and Bismark are there to take your towels to your chair and if you play ping pong you will enjoy playing these "professionals". Just another relaxing stay at the Casa Dorada. We bought here because it feels so good. Location, Location, LOCATION ! The best spot on Medano Beach !!!
"Nice spot to lounge"
We had to check out the Omega Sports Bar & Grill since it tops the charts for restaurants, but since the service is so dang fast, we wandered to Casa Dorada's outside patio for dessert and a night cap. This ended up being such a fortuitous find! There was live jazz music playing and after dessert, we camped out on the sofa area. The patio was beautiful.
"Wonderful!!!"
Just returned from a wonderful week at Casa Dorada. This is my 5th or 6th visit to the resort. The rooms are large, modern and all have great views. Also a great daily maid service. The hotel grounds are always immaculate and constantly being upgraded. All of the staff are extremely service driven and very friendly. Many wonderful food options on site. And by far the best swimming beach and best location in all of Cabo. Casa Dorada is the only place I would ever stay in Cabo. Just Perfect!!!
"Dining"
First night here we decided to dine at the hotel. The food and service was amazing. Ronald took care of all of our needs and provided exceptional customer service. I highly recommend dining here. We stayed here two years ago the food was moderate we mostly dined out. But this year the food is exceptional and we plan to dine at the hotel more often.
"Great Hotel"
We have stayed at a few different hotels in Cabo, but this was our first time to stay at Casa Dorada. It was fabulous. We were treated extremely well and the rooms were fantastic -- very large and roomy. We definitely plan to stay there again. It's right on the beach and within walking distance to town and the marina. Couldn't ask for more. The pool is very large with plenty of lounges. The staff greets you with a welcome drink when you arrive. One member of our party was in an accident while we were there and the hotel staff contacted us right away to assist in any way they could. They even offered to bring us food at the hospital. We opted to have it sent to our room after we returned from the hospital. Everything was great. Definitely a great place to stay.
"Beautiful, friendly and GREAT location"
We've stayed at several different Cabo hotels and this is our new favorite. It's great being so close to town and also right on the beach. The service was outstanding and our room was fantastic. Our encounter with the timeshare salesman was short and nobody bothered us again. Unfortunately, we had a problem in town while walking back from a nice Italian dinner. My wife's purse was snatched by guys passing by in a car-very scary! The room manager, Oziel, and security director Fernando became our advocates and helped us get the authorities involved. Their genuine concern for our well-being was very much appreciated! We've never had a single safety issue in 15 Cabo trips. We believe this was a rare event and it won't stop us from coming back. The tourism police did a great job and recovered her purse and phone. Without a doubt, we will highly recommend Casa Dorada to our friends and family!
"Lovely hotel"
Lovely hotel in perfect location if you want easy access to the beach AND downtown Cabo. Staff is very nice. Wifi is spotty at best; they really have no business charging for it. And we had to wait four hours for our room to be ready; arrived before 1pm and couldn't settle in until after 5pm. Very frustrating. They will hit you up to sit thru a timeshare presentation like all resorts down here.
"Very nice location"
Perfectly located on the beach right in the middle of everything. Rooms were larger than one would of expected. Very nice bathrooms. Plenty of pools, drinks were well poured and decently priced.
"Beautiful resort, amazing views, incredible staff"
We have been owners here for 7 years, and have always enjoyed our stays. We look forward to it each year due to the fact the property is so nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The front desk manager, Jesus, goes above and beyond to make sure we have the best room available. The pool staff is attentive and we so enjoy hanging at the pool! We stayed in Cabo for two weeks this year, with the first week at Casa Dorada and the second week at another resort. But, we came here back often the second week, as it's just such a better experience. We have always come by ourselves, but this year we brought some friends with us. They instantly fell in love with Casa Dorada and are thinking of buying their own timeshare now!
"Outstanding resort with the best view in Cabo!!"
We got day passes to this beautiful resort two days in a row. The view is awesome, the drinks and food are delicious and the hospitality is top notch! The pools were a great size where you didn't feel crowded and the beach area had a ton of space! We'll definitely be back.
"Nice hotel, great location"
Casa Dorada is a nice hotel with many amenities. However, the reason that I stayed there was the fact that is was on Medono Beach (one of the only swimmable beaches in Cabo) and its close proximity to town. If you do like a hotel vacation in the sun, Casa Dorada will work for you. The pool is nice with plenty of servers. There is a good sushi restaurant on site and for coffeed junkies, there is also a Starbucks. The rooms are well taken care of and are large. They include a king size bed and a sitting area with a couch, TV, dining room table and small bar area with a refrigerator and sink. The door man was helpful in keeping us away from the restaurants that are only for tourists and letting us know where the locals go to eat. On a side note, I was dissapointed with the beach. It was crawling with people selling junk . Even worse, the cruise ships anchor right in front of the beach, blocking views to Los Arcos and being a general eye sore. Other than that the water was warm and the bay is very calm. Overall this is a great hotel for families looking to relax. If you looking for more of a party atmospere it works soley for the fact that it is on the beach and The Mango Deck and the Office are next door. It is also a close walk to the bars and restaurants in town.
"Excellent stay even during a thunderstorm!!"
Great views, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and gave us a great room with a view when we requested for it!. It rained for 2 days while we were there but we enjoyed out stay thoroughly and took advantage of the jacuzzi that is open 24 hours and the poolside bar. The location is excellent with Mange deck, the office and ediths all amazing restaurants just footsteps away, the marina is a 10 minute walk and the dowtown maybe a 15 minute walk. The food inside the resort at Maydan is great and so are the drinks!, would highly recommend this place

Beautiful Resort on Medano Beach which is safe to swim in! Great Pool Restaurants and Rooms $100 for the pet fee for the week. You can walk to town very easily (go through the shopping mall) Service on the beach very nice with Martin and Laura

Been many times and will keep coming back. Love Casa Dorada. Service, rooms, food and drinks are wonderful. Love the location which is close enough to walk to town. Everything is very clean and kept updated. The beach is great.
"Outstanding resort."
Recently spent a week in Cabo at this resort. This was our first time and we could not be happier with the selection. The resort is extremely well maintained and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I wasn't planning on becoming a member of the resort but I was so impressed I will be coming back with my family. The surrounding areas are great and visitor friendly. If you are planning a trip this is the place. You will not be disappointed.
"The cream of the medano resorts"
This resort is just uphill from the mango deck on medano beach. It has by far the most beautifully layed out, spacious and well appointed suites of all the medano beach resorts. 150 rooms means there is always room at the pool, and this resort is amenable to those looking for excitement at the beach or quiet relaxation by the gorgeous pool and linen lined cabanas.
"Anniversary trip"
We loved everything about beautiful Casa Dorada! Especially the 12 Tribes restaurant whose service & food were excellent! The location was great - walking distance to downtown & the marina. The pool areas were always impeccably clean! Our studio was very spacious with a gorgeous view of Land's End. I would return here for sure! Thank you Casa Dorada for a wonderful vacation:)

Best Place in Cabo, excellent rates, beautiful ocean view just in front medano beach, the service was outstanding, and they have the best location near downtown. Drinks at pool yummy, big rooms, and room service really fast and good meal

"Perfect Location, Great Hotel"
We have been to Cabo many times, but this was our first stay at Casa Dorada. I had lost a little of my love affair with Mexico over the past 10 years because I felt the prices were too high and the service was too low. This trip changed my feelings on Cabo. While hotel prices are still high, the level of service and friendliness has come way up! Casa Dorada was a great hotel! You can't beat the location with it being close enough to town/Marina that you can walk and yet still be on Medano Beach. We had a two bedroom walkout suite. While not in the location we had hoped for, it was a great room. The floorplan is perfect. The main kitchen, bar, family room and walk out patio in the center......king size suite on one side with a walk out patio.....2 queen size beds with a mini kitchenette on the other side with a walk out patio. Very clean, well appointed, nice amenities and comfortable beds. All the staff from security to the bellman to the front desk to the restaurants to the pool to the maid service were all top notch. We were always greeted with a smile and sincere 'can we do anything for you'. We did need help with our air conditioner adjustment because it wasn't cooling and we managed to lock ourselves out of our safe. On both occasions they were there within 10-15 minutes (real minutes, not 'Mexican minutes'). Food and drinks were great and very reasonably priced. Some reviewers complained about the noise from Mango Deck. Yes, you can hear the music and it can somewhat compete with the music they are playing by the pool, but it didn't bother us. At night with the patio doors closed we didn't hear it at all. If you want complete silence you may want to go down the beach a ways farther away from the fun. I would highly recommend Casa Dorada!! It won't be our last trip there!!
