We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

What Our Customers Are Saying

Written Review

"Outstanding facility for groups of 50 or less."
Although this hotel is somewhat dated , the facilities are very well maintained and the staff is exceptional. An added plus is the proximity of the hotel to the historic district and shopping/ dining options. For groups of 50 or fewer, the hotel allows the use of the Hospitality room at no cost . The room is the best our group has experienced in the years we have been having our reunions. I highly recommend this facility because of the committed staff. Planning an event was made easy due to the responsive events coordinator. And once checked in the entire staff went above expectations to see that we had everything we needed. This will be a site our group returns to in future years for sure.
"Convenient, and good value"
We arranged a Presidents' Day weekend at short notice. This proved to be the most convenient hotel for Colonial Williamsburg - it's within easy walking distance. The hotel is also a good deal less expensive than many other hotels in the area, and nearer to the sights. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The desk staff recommended a great restaurant which is also within walking distance, and fitted us in even though it was Valentine's day. They were also able to supply shaving equipment! Don't overlook the Clarion if what you want is a base for exploring the historic site.
"Pleasant stay. Convenient location."
We stayed a night here due to the short walking distance to colonial Williamsburg. The room was quite nice and in line with the price. We travel with our dog and had a room on the first floor. The room was clean and there was certainly no dog or mold odor. We did not use the pool. We did order from the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food was good. I would recommend this hotel to others.
"Best stay ever"
Second stay this year! Although the facility is a little older than many in the Williamsburg are the hospitality ,location to the colonial area , and cleanliness have been my best experience in ever while visiting Williamsburg. All the employees I dealt with even passing in the hall or parking lot where cheerful and eager to be of assistance! Great Christmas spirit ! The manager , Neil, was especially helpful by directing me to a reliable and reasonable mechanic that solved my auto problem right away so I had a minimal delay. Best value I have found in this area.
"Extremely helpful staff"
My husband and I recently attended his Vietnam Army Reunion at this Clarion. The staff...front desk, maid service and most especially the waitstaff went above and beyond their duties. At the end of the stay, we did not leave until we were sure we had thanked each person...and gave hugs to the restaurant servers. Location is fabulous; so close to Colonial Williamsburg. The rooms were clean and tidy but could use some decorating updates. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend this to family & friends.
"Convenient, clean, courteous & charming."
Right across street from Colonial Williamsburg...walking distance to main entrance. Great value for location and quality of hotel. Clean spacious rooms, better than average fitness center and large heated indoor pool. Only complaints...pool hours too restrictive; no free continental breakfast. Restaurant on premises has adequate buffet breakfast for $8. Would definitely recommend.
"High school re union"
Every time I go to Williamsburg I can count on A clean room and Good meal at this Clarion Hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The Pool is an extra bonus and being between Colonial Williamsburg and Busch gardens Is so convenient.
"Great Hotel and Wonderful WiFi"
Stayed at this hotel about six months ago, beautiful Lobby, the hotel staff is very accommodating and the restaurant was serving the very best food. The staff was most helpful at the frontdesk and the amenities, such as pool, business center, and free wifi was supurb. We used the internet and had no issues, the speed was good for searching the web and posting to different sites. All in all a great place to stay and close to colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and Water Country which is a big plus
"Comfortable and great location!"
We checked in last night for a three day stay. I made our reservation via Priceline because we are on a very tight budget for this trip. This property is great, and deserves more than priceline's 2 1/2 stars. Room is nice size, very clean and beds are comfortable. Lots of pillows, which I like. We're walking distance to the historic area (or a very short drive) which is perfect. Couldn't be happier with this choice!
"I am glad I did not rely on Trip Advisor"
I booked my room through the name the price feature on Priceline. After reading the reviews, I was cosnidering taking a loss and booking elsewhere. I am glad I did not. I was in town for a confrence. I needed a bed and a gym.The bed and the gym were fine. I was not on a floor with pets. Maybe that made a difference. Check in was a breeze, as was check out. I did not hear my neighbors, and the restaurant, while not my style, seemed fine to me. The room cost me @ $55/night, including taxes. I would have expected to pay $90 for a rooom of this quality.
"Great Value for the Money"
This hotel was an absolute steal for the money when I stayed in it on a weekend trip to Williamsburg, VA. I believe we paid aroun $50-$60 for the night. Pros: Updated rooms for the price Continental Breakfast Recent Renovations Cons: 10 minutes at least from downtown Williamsburg/Busch Gardens Overall a great hotel for this price range. Clarion, however, is still well below a Courtyard by Marriott or Garden Inn (Hilton) by most standards, and the price is well.
"Great value, great location"
Very helpful desk staff. Nice room, especially for the money. Clean. Quiet. Only a block or so from the historic district. Lots of amenities: fridge, microwave, coffee pot, heated pool, although we did not see or use the pool. Breakfast was not included, but they do have a restaurant and it starts serving at 6 am. The heater in the room works great!!! My only complaint is the hard bed. I miss my pillow-top mattress at home, so I guess I'm spoiled. We were able to get a king bed though.
"Winter Stay at Clarion"
I stayed at the Clarion with my boyfriend after using the "Name your own price" option on Priceline. After finding out which hotel we booked, I looked for reviews and was afraid of what we were in for. However, the hotel staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. I was also pleased that the hotel had a soda machine that took credit card (the little things...) because we were really thirsty and didn't want to leave the hotel to buy a drink. The location is also good, as it is right next to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. The only complaints I have are that the remote to our TV was broken (We called the front desk and someone arrived promptly but was unable to fix it. She offered to find us another room or replace the TV in the morning, which we appreciated) and the hotel cleaning staff was kind of on the noisy side early in the morning. Overall, a good stay.
"Purrrfect location!"
Our tour group of 29 stayed at the Clarion Hotel Historic District property and we were very pleased with the beauty of the place, the cleanliness, the great bar and grille, the food and everything in general. We had no complaints! When we arrived, our rooms were ready and our guide was promptly given the keys and we had them before leaving the bus. The hotel staff delivered our luggage promptly. After spending 3 hours touring Busch Gardens, we came back to hotel tired and hungry. The Bar and Grille is excellent; we enjoyed sandwiches and drinks and the next morning enjoyed a wonderul, hot, with lots of variety breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here.
"Clarion Hotel Williamsburg"
Great location in between Historic District and Busch Gardens. Everyone was very accommodating. Rooms clean. Easy checkout. Restaurant had full menu. Very relaxing every time we got back to hotel after a full day of walking or driving. I would definitely return again, however next time I'm bringing my bathing suit.
"History at your fingertips! Topped with Southern Hospitality!"
The Front Staff are excellent! Friendly, quick, understanding, all of the above! Rooms neat as a pin. Quiet, cool and clean! Very near Old Williamsburg! Hint: wear very comfortable shoes as W'Burg is spread out. Best thing to do is, drive your car toward William and Mary College, park near west end of York St. Plenty of shopping, eateries and ticket office for tours.
"Angels of Mercy at the Clarion"
On Monday, October 29, 2012 I was in Williamsburg from Houston, Texas because of the death of a dear friend who had cancer. I was on my way to the post office to mail a package when the car I was driving had a sudden flat tire. I was able to coast into the breeze way of the Clarion Hotel during the rain and wind of the impending hurricane. I was met by a gentle, kind young man named Jeff who walked out see if he could assist me as I opened the trunk in search of a spare. I was becoming wet from the wind and rain so I walked into the lobby to let the desk clerk know that I would have my car moved as soon as I could contact AAA. I was having trouble reaching them when I went back to the car to find Jeff had returned with Phillip from maintenance. Phillip immediately began assisting me by changing the tire which was no easy task in the inclement weather. Both of these young men were true "angels of mercy" at this extremely trying time and are examples of what must be great about this hotel. Phillip assured me that my "thank you" was more than sufficient but I felt the need to make sure his superiors are aware of how he and Jeff represent this fine establishment. I have returned to Houston and have shared this encounter with quite a few friends. I will never hesitate to recommend this hotel and I will continue telling others of the kind of care and concern they can expect to receive there.
""Personalized hospitality and a friendly environment""
I have stayed at the Clarion Hotel a few times this past year and each time I'm reminded of why I keep coming back. Upon each visit, I have always been greeted with a smile and a helpful attitude from the reception staff. My room has always been clean and tidy and if there is ever anything I need the service staff is always available to accomidate my needs. Also, the Roanoke college hockey team stayed at the Clarion and from a team perspective it is truly the ONLY place we will stay in Williamsburg.
"Stacey and Brent"
We had book through a package plan through Busch Gardens and was not sure what to expect going this route. We were greeting by Judy at that front desk, and within minutes we knew we would more than pleased with our choice. Judy was absolutely great in making sure our room met our needs for the stay. We stayed one night and saw her again in the morning and even assisted us with adding an extra day to our trip, which was not planned initially. It is with her wonderful personality and customer service that will have us return, and recommend to others for use. Tunisha also at the front desk during check in was pleasant and eager to assist us with our many questions about the area. We also had a fantastic waitress during our breakfast meals, I can't seem to find where I wrote her name down, but she took care of us on 7/13,7/14,and 7/15. The pool was beautiful, and the hotel was so convenient to our plans.
"Excellent value"
Great stay - location, hospitality, welcome, Southern breakfast, comfortable beds, large swimming pool - The Clarion has it all. Judy and Krista provided updated information on the activities at Colonial Williamsburg which rounded out our visit and we appreciated the caring staff everyday. Thank you!
"Everything we could have dreamed of"
Right from the moment we walked in the doors we were pleased. Mary was very helpful. The hotel was very Clean full of polite people and lots of smiles. When we called the front desk to ask where we could find a pizza place that delivered. The woman brought us all the pamplets to our room so we could make a choice. Jeff was helpful in telling us where to visit and which places to eat were delicious. Neil was very thankful that we stayed and treated us like family. They all did. Angie, Judy and all the rest. It was off season but they made us feel comfortable and important. We will be back again....and also recomend this Clairon to our friends. Thank you for a fantastic stay.
