I recently stayed with my husband and 5-year-old daughter for our first trip together to Disney World. We could have not been more pleased with our stay! The staff was extremely nice, knowledgeable, & helpful. Breakfast was very good each morning, and my daughter loved her Mickey waffles! We bought our tickets from the ticket desk conveniently located in the hotel lobby, during which the staff provided us with helpful suggestions about the parks. Each night, we were able to watch the fireworks show at Magic Kingdom from our hotel room window. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again in years to come!

"Great family holiday hotel."
This property is very centrally located and with excellent faculties for holiday makers. We were a family of 8 adults, 2 children and one infant. Had made reservations through Choice hotels and were quickly accommodated in adjoining two double queen bedrooms and the 3rd King bedroom with separate sitting room. The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable except the sofa cum beds, with small kitchenettes. At a small price washing machine and dryer facilities, free use of business centre, fitness centre and free VI-Fi (which did not work despite several complains to the service provider) are available. Hotel has special counter offering advice and tickets for the Disney world parks and all the pamphlets. It would be best to arrive at the hotel and arrange/buy tickets through them if you have the time to spend three hours visiting there promotional properties. It may be well worth the time although we missed this opportunity. The breakfast included in the room rent is very good but served only up to 9 AM, the courtesy bus service to the park and back is available thrice a day. The swimming pool, open 24 hour, with a Jacuzzi, clean towels and comfortable chairs was a delight for all of us. The food at the hotel cafe is reasonably priced, a short walk takes you to the Kissemmee centre offering a variety of food or order from many that deliver at the hotel. Not too far away are some shopping malls including outlet malls, you need to have a vehicle to explore the many treasures of Orlando besides the Disney world Parks. Would strongly recommend to family and friend Comfort Suite for a family vacation.
"Very comfortable,clean and friendly staffed hotel"
Stayed at this hotel for two weeks with my husband from 27th September and have to say that from the moment we stepped through the doors to the minute we left we could not have wished for more. Check in was quick and on arrival at our room I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and cleanliness of the suite as we've stayed at much more expensive hotels and found some of these to be far less satisfactory.Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and as I like to eat fairly healthy foods I was well catered for with oats,yogurts,fresh fruit and coffee.On weekends we also had strawberries.The lovely lady who cleaned our room called Victoria deserves a special mention as she cleaned to a high standard and kept us well supplied with toileteries and regular changes of towels and sheets.We felt safe and comfortable at all times in the hotel and grounds unlike some other hotels we have stayed at. Pool was kept clean and plenty of towels available.The Old Town on Saturday night is not to be missed! All in all we had a wonderful stay and will definately be returning to this hotel i the future.
"Enjoyable stay"
Excellent breakfast choices both hot and cold. Spacious, clean rooms with couch, refrigerator, microwave, plus sink. Internet was inconsistent in our room on 5th floor. The pool was not heated, but the hot tub was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was convenient to the parks, with shuttle service once a day. If in the area we will definitely stay there again.
"Best trip ever"
This hotel is by far the best choice hotel we have stayed at yet. From check in to check out couldnt ask for much more. The breakfast was very good and sure to have something for everyone which is hard with my crew.The resort is within 10 mins to WDW and plenty of shopping close by like The florida premium outlets (the girls loved that one) would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a nice place to stay close to WDW but not in one of the park resorts
"Brilliant hotel"
My friend and I stayed here for two weeks from 26thsept. This is the best hotel I have stayed at in Orlando(except in Disney itself) I have visited Orlando numerous times over the years and can say without doubt this hotel is excellent value for money.Clean,lovely room,large and spacious with kitchen.Staff very helpfull ,special thanks to Conroy on front desk and Oscar in Dining area.Breakfast was included which is a bonus.Saus,eggs,ham,(biscuits and gravy)which we brits would call a scone and didnt try the gravy !!cereals fruit yogurt and of course the Mickey Mouse waffles !!.We used the laundry 1 dollar to wash and 1to dry .easy to use took 30 mins each.Free Shuttle to parks,that was only niggle...Shuttle to Disney started at 9.15 and dropped of at Epcot only.It is best to be at Disney for 8.30 at the park u want to get straight in,plus 10.30 last pick up so we missed fireworks at Magic Kingdom in order to get back to Epcot. But overall great hotel.Loved it .Would stay again def !!!
"Driver Accommodations"
We used this location for accommodations for your bus driver. It was a great hotel from what I was able to see. The room was comfortable for the driver. The only complained the driver had was the breakfast. It was not good at all, even after the hotel manager made it sound great.
"So good we're going back!"
Stayed here for 10 days after a WDW stay of 7 days. Comfort Suites give you so much more "bang for your buck"! We arrived rather too early so sat in the breakfast room for a bit enjoying the free coffee. The desk staff then came to say a one bed suite had become available and would we like an upgrade. Of course we would! The room was a grear one, sixth floor with lovley views. Clean, comfortable and with a microwave and fridge. Breakfast was a bit of a scrum, but no one seemed to mind if we took our meal upstairs and ate in our room. The pool is lovely, the pool bar does great cocktails and all of the staff were charming, we wouldnt hesitate to stay again. In fact we are, we've just booked a sneaky week in October!
"Second stay just as great as the first!!!!"
I stayed at this hotel in July and had a wonderful stay. everything was great. The customer service was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless. The pool area is beautifully landscaped ,clean and warm. The complimentary breakfast has something for everyone plentiful and flavorful. The rooms are welcoming, clean, and spacious. I can't say enough about this hotel an all around joyous experience. So when I came to Florida again this week I had raved so much about the hotel to my parents that when we traveled from the west coast to central Florida. I once again booked this hotel and had them come along. Once again a wonderful wonderful stay. There is nothing I can say bad about this hotel. My parents were quite impressed also. This will definitely be the #1 choice for me when I am in the area.
"Family holiday"
Second time we have stayed here and I can't fault it nice and clean and very friendly staff . There is a washer and drier on most floors which came in very friendly u can buy powder from the hotel shop for a good price there are also I've machines on some landings . Breakfast was a bit repetitive but as there is plenty of choice it's not an issue ( Mickey Mouse waffles go down a treat with young and old ) there is tea and coffee free 24 hours. Just help your self . Towels available at the poolside plenty if loungers and also a hot tub . There is a shuttle service which picks up at the doors to get to the main parks and attractions . Will be booking our 2015 holiday soon and will def b staying here.
"Clean, comfortable, good location"
Stayed here one night in March with a friend as we visited some spring training in Florida. The room was not updated but nice, clean, and comfortable. It was pouring rain at night so we did not have the opportunity to check out the pool. Breakfast was your standard fare. We weren't going to disney ourselves but they seemed to have a shuttle and also had a ticket vendor. The hotel is in a pretty good location with shops, restaurants nearby. Our night stay was free, but either way - I'd stay here again.
"Good value for Disney Trip"
Booked a room with 2 queens and a sofa bed for our family of four. When we arrived, they did not have our reservation (that we made through a 3rd party) but they cleared it up right away so what could have been a bad beginning went by with no problem. Our room was quiet. The queen beds were very comfortable. Good pillows and sheets. The sofa bed wasn't too comfortable but we didn't really expect it to be. Everything was as advertised. The breakfast had alot of variety and was very good. Staff was always friendly. The only complaint and it wasn't a big deal for us is that we had spotty wi-fi. It could detect it but wasn't strong enough to keep a signal. Great location near restaurants and Disney entrance. We would definitely stay again. It was a great value for the money.

UNBEATABLE PRICE..Rooms are SPACIOUS even the bathroom, service is fast we requested for 2 cribs&it was delivered to our room juz like that,very satisfactory..Cleanliness is outstanding;Paula our housekeeper is the BEST&very TRUSTWORTHY,tnx Paula we appreciate it..The beds are so comfy, free parking,shuttle service,location is great, free wifi everywhere,express check-out is so convenient,SAFETY was never an issue we stayed there for(9-14 to 9-21) 7days & felt very safe..Breakfast buffet is EXCELLENT they kept the food hot & fresh & there's something different everyday..Best part of it all the pool & hot tub is open 24hrs so aftr a long day at a theme park we still enjoyed the pool & relaxed at d hot tub..The staff are nice, professional & friendly..It's nw our families official hotel everytime we go away!!!
"Great Hotel - for everyone !!!"
Have stayed at a number of hotels in Orlando over the past 20+ years. This was by far the best in almost all categories. Very Clean, affordable, pleasant and helpful staff, 24 hr access to the pool and hot tub, nice little bar with food service, an excellent breakfast buffet ,free parking, and the location is fantastic - minutes to Disney , adjacent to Old Town, a 15-20 min drive to Sea World and Universal , and walking distance to numerous restaurants and misc.stores. We won't waste time looking around to find a hotel for our next visit - we'll definitely just come back to Comfort Suites Maingate East .
"Excellent family hotel close to WDW"
There are thousands of hotels in the whole Orlando area and it is hard to find the right one. They all offer more or less the same at different rates. We discovered the Comfort Suites Maingate East a few years ago and were pleasantly surprised. Location, room size, service, amenities everything very good at a very affordable rate. It is no wonder that hundreds of families go there for their family reunions.
"Perfect as a Family Park Holiday base"
What a fantastic place and great base to do all your Disney, Universal and holiday activities from! The excellent location, free car parking and convenient bus service takes your tourist travel worries away. The friendly staff answer any question and go out of their way to be professional & welcoming. The breakfast offers everything you'll need it too with hot, cold, fruit, bakery options including the amazing waffle bar, as well as a great selection of teas and coffees suiting all preferences. The wifi is fast enough for Skype and YouTube and is easy enough to connect with. The rooms are kept fantastically clean and a large size with very comfortable beds, good quality large TV, couch/lounge/table and chairs area with sink and microwave, as well as the usuals like irons, ice buckets, coffee maker, etc... covering all needs. The bathroom has a refreshed daily with soaps and gels/shampoos and towels. The pool is a good size, warm and open 24hrs, accompanied by a hot Hot HOT spa, bar offering a varsity of beers, cocktails and soft drinks with a good menu. The gym is a good spec, with well maintained machines. In close proximity and walking distance is the Old Town, which offers some good, family friendly fun. Whilst also being surrounded by privately owned and franchise restaurants, shops and stores. Within a 2 min drive there are even more restaurants, at least three supermarkets and several tourist dollar/holiday gift stores.
"Vacation"
First I want to say that I didn't think this would be a good hotel because we got it from Groupon but it turn out to be a great hotel beside they need to update a little but the people the staff the rooms and everything else was beautiful and they have a carnival next to them and chocolate kingdom as well as a lot of other store and close to Disney World so I'm bringing the family next year but not until December so come check them out it worth it
"very pleasant hotel"
We have just returned from a 2 weeks stay here and despite some reviews we found this hotel very pleasant to stay at room was cleaned very well every day the pool area well maintained and the free breakfast saved us alot of money the transfers to the the parks were convenient and all the staff welcoming and professional the bar food was fine reasonably priced and convenient the lifts are slow but that never bothered us in the slightest you get exactly what you pay for if you want 5 star hotel stay elsewhere and pay the 5 star prices this hotel gives exceptional service at moderate prices and met our requirements and expectations conviently located by old town and fun spot and would definitely stay again my only recommendation to the hotel is the sofa bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable but nothing a blanket didnt solve for us. If you want a fantastic hotel at good prices and good location family friendly and free breakfast and park transfers this is the hotel, thank you for a great vaction comfort suites. "What else do you need? Its all here."
After reading the majority of reviews on here over the last couple of months, there really is nothing wrong with this hotel. Free Breakfasts which is unusual, free shuttles to parks which saves so much money. Rooms cleaned every day, location is great as walking distance to shops, supermarkets, Old Town shops, Fun USA, crazy golf, several restaurants but the hidden gem is the pool bar and great pizza's. People on here that moan about the lifts, you must have stayed on the 6th floor as they are not slow, what do you expect the Hollywood Studio's Tower of Terror? For one of the cheapest hotels in Orlando you get great value for money. The only moan from me is that i do like bacon for breakfast, but the breakfast is included in the price and it was adequate. I didn't drive this year, so relied on shuttles and Taxi's. I suppose the Taxi's were expensive after giving the driver a 15% tip but it was still less than 30 for 3 people to go to Universal which was the longest trip, but it saved 10 parking at the parks, petrol money and CDW. Yes, you can stay at better hotels on International Drive or in the parks but none that gives you so many choices to do on the evening. If you're in doubt about this hotel, don't be, you won't be disappointed.
"Secluded But Close to Disney"
We had no complaints about our stay. I especially enjoyed the abundant array of breakfast buffet selections and the secluded hot tub surrounded by a variety of plants behind the massive pool. I also enjoyed the fitness room with the poolside view. The hotel also was easy to find since it is adjacent to Old Town.
"Great hotel"
Friendly greeting on arrival and no long wait for check in. Room on 6th floor facing old town. We did not have any really long wait for the lifts , busier between 8 and 9 am but no problems. The room was perfect ,very big with nice size bathroom . and our housekeeper, Victoria, kept it lovely. The corridors and public areas were kept very clean and were well decorated .the room was quiet , no problem of noise from the fun site. And I found the air conditioner to be one of the quieter ones. The breakfast was basic but well presented, the dining room was very busy and noisy between 8-9 but could always take up to room or out to pool area. The pool is nice but can get busy , and there is no where quiet to sit., I found this in the evening as well .could do with area to sit and unwind with a drink away from the pool. All in all a very nice hotel probably one of the best in area at a great price
"Comfort at a great price."
We selected the family suite with 2 full baths, a whirlpool tub in the master suite. The bedroom is separate from the living room and eat in mini kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the stay was enjoyable. A mini villa inside a hotel, now that's comfort. Would recommend. There is also a sleeper sofa and a recliner the room. Just request room 421. We will be back here the next time we are in Orlando.
"Affordable and Accessible"
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for four nights from 26 - 30 May 2014. We chose the hotel after reading recommendation from Trip Advisors, and because the price was quite affordable compare to other hotels. The location was not too close to the main attractions, but the hotel provided a very reliable shuttle to pick us from the hotel, and drop us off at Universal Studios and Disney World. This was very critical, because we found out that public transportation not as reliable as we experienced in previous cities we visited; NYC and DC. You only need to have a short walk to some famous food chain restaurants near the hotel. The hotel was very clean, the room was large and cleaned up every day, and the staff worked very efficient. The breakfast was standard, but I enjoyed adequate supplies of banana, pancakes and coffee.
"comfort in kissimmee"
Really enjoyed the 2 weeks stay at this hotel. It was clean, spacious and the staff were excellent. The pool area was good and the hot tub was excellent and welcome after a day doing the parks. The breakfast catered for most appetites and the fresh mickey mouse waffles were good. The free tea and coffee all day was also a bonus. The free park shuttles were good and although I usually hire a car it was not necessary on this occasion as the hotel was well situated.
