"Good hotel for more than budget travelers."
this hotel is good not only if you're on budget, but also if you're not interested in the most expensive room with the view and the pool, the spa, etc etc. This one works for people that knows their trip will be so full with activities that is better to spend the extra money on those activities and go crash on your room than paying for things that you (trust me) will not have the time to use. It has a lot of conveniences that you will enjoy if you're not too picky, like the shuttle bus, that is free, you might or might not find a seat because comes from other hotels, but is still free. there is a Chinese buffet in front of it, a bonefish in the back, a TGIF across the street, an IHOP at walking distance, walgreens, a convenience store/souvenir shop near the lobby and some 24/7 drink machines. There are also a couple of mini golf places nearby. I read that they have insects and the towels are old. I don't know if I was lucky but I didn't have those problems. My room was made daily, and I got toiletries every time too.
"Welcoming with a large, unoccupied pool"
You know those trips you take where you fly later in the day and don't reach your destination until halfway through a "normal" hotel reservation [think like 10pm flight landing and you aren't even getting to the room until midnight]. Yeah, this hotel is perfect for those late night arrivals and a clean place to lay your head while you wait for the following business day and the check in time to your fancy schmancy $500/night room. The Continental Plaza is friendly, clean, welcoming, located right by Disney parks. Save yourself a couple bucks the next time you plan a trip and consider staying at this hotel. The best part is that we have never spent over $40 a night and the last time we were there we were able to get a room for 3 nights for $75-ish.
"You get what you pay for so stop complaining"
I stayed here with my husband for our Disney trip. We were on a super low budget do weer cost this hotel for its price and location. The room isn't the Ritz but again that's not what we paid for. For $29/night we got a clean room with 2 beds , pool area and prime location to Disney that's all we needed and that's all we were entailed to for that price. So if you want a luxurious room them be willing to pay the big bucks and stop complaining.

"Perfectly Fine"
Before coming to this hotel I read the loads of bad reviews about cockroaches and dirty rooms etc and was starting to regret booking this hotel for 8 nights. When I got to my room I was relieved, the room was clean and the bed was good. I saw one small bug on my 3rd night and killed it without needing help from anyone else, honestly you're in Florida you're going to get the occasional bug in the tropics! I was able to stay in Orlando for 8 nights at the price of around $280 Australian, you cannot beat that price. Did I get a 5 star experience with this hotel? No but I didn't pay for 5 stars, I paid money to get a place to crash for the night while I went to all the theme parks and I wouldn't have been able to do all of them without this very affordable hotel located within short distance of Disneyworld. I also found the staff to be very friendly and quite helpful. In summing up if you want a hotel with cable TV and all the trimmings then go to a more expensive hotel but if you're like me and just want a place to sleep for the night while going to enjoy all the theme parks and other attractions in Orlando then there is absolutely nothing wrong with this place.
"Good Experience"
If you're looking for a place to shower and crash after a hard day at Disney then this fits the bill. The room was clean and room service was great. The pool area was clean and relaxing and the staff was friendly. I would defintely stay again.
"Great Value Hotel"
We stayed here from 9th - 23rd October. We got a great deal and had intended using the hotel as a base and staying in a couple of other places while we were in Orlando - we ended up staying here the entire time. We arrived at about 6pm on the 9th and were checked in straight away. We were offered a king bed or two doubles at no additional cost. The room is basic (115). There is no fridge or working safe, but it is clean and there is a TV, comfortable bed, bath, shower and sink area and plenty of storage. The beddig was changed most days with fresh towel every day. There is no option for wifi, but this can be accessed for free in the lobby area of the hotel. It could do with a new carpet, a fresh coat of paint and some modernization, but it is fit for purpose. There is a complimentary shuttle bus daily that services all major parks and an outlet store (Sea World, Disney, Universal - Bush Gardens puts on their own complimentary shuttle) and there is a taxi service available from the lobby at a discounted rate. The outdoor pool is open all day until 10pm and is maintained to a high standard. There is a shop in the lobby which offers good prices options for food, water, gifts, toiletries etc. and there is an ice machine (25c) and drink machine available. There are laundry facilities as well. There are plenty of food options within a 1/2 mile radius of the hotel (fast food to lobster buffet and everything in between). There is a bus that stops outside the hotel (55) which will bring you to Walmart, or you can use the Walgreens/supermarket across the street. All in all, we were happy with the hotel and would use it again.
"Do not dissmiss"
Reading other reviews we were dreading it. We got a good deal through a newspaper so unsure what we paid but ,wasn't expensive but what it lacked in up to date decor ,the staff made up for it. We arrived very late early sun 11 Oct to be greeted by a lovely front of house staff member which after a nightmare journey & lost bag we needed! She couldn't have been more helpful , we were leaving in the morning for 24 hrs & she agreed to receive & keep the bag which they did. During the week they were wonderful, rushing to the hospital we left the key in the room & on our return they just gave us a new one. They were pleasant & helpful all week nothing was too much trouble. Everything was clean & housekeeping fantastic, especially Betty. The only downside was it does need updating especially the mattress as I could not sleep on it due to my back & it does need a fridge microwave kettle & coffee maker as standard. We did not use the pool as never had time but looked fine. The location is close to Disney shops etc if you book a tour with grayline tours they pick up yards away. If you want luxury then pay for it with Disney but for the staff this is the place to be & we will return.
"Recommend it. Will make it my home in Orlando!"
I booked for an unbeatable $21 a night. Stayed with my daughter for two weeks. The room was always clean. Had a two double bed room. To be a place where you go rest when visiting the Orlando area and not having to spend too much money, it is definitely the place to stay. Close to Disney area and other parks, shopping and restaurants which makes it great!
"Softball trip"
We came down from michigan for 4 days. Room was clean staff was friendly. All in all a good stay. Rooms are outdated but clean, and that's all you need when you are just sleeping and showering there. Great for the price
"Good Price!"
I stayed here for 5 days, can't complain at all, the room was cleaned everyday, I felt safe (even if the hotel is all open). It's close to Disney and easy access to all atractions in Orlando (if u have a car, of course). In our room, we were able to see the fireworks from MK. We had a problem with our booking (that we made from their website), but it was solved with no extra charge by the front desk.
"Great location and decent room"
Wanted to try this hotel to see what a cheap hotel was like and it was much better than one double it's rate. If you are looking for a place to just sleep and shower after the parks, this is your place! I was truly surprised how nice the people at the front desk were and they even brought us towels to our room when we requested them, I was very happy to pay their very low "resort fee" just for that :-). Other hotels charge expensive "resort fees" and truly don't do anything for their guests! I think this will be our new go to hotel over this summer, since we'll be coming often this year.
"Great hotel."
As the price of this hotel was ultra low I refuse to criticise it in any way. It was adequate for my four nights in Kissimmee. The hotel was fully booked which proved to me that it's rates were attracting a lot of people. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was a fair size with two large, comfortable beds, TV. Iron and ironing board and shampoo and soap was provided every day along with fresh towels. My room overlooked the pool which was a popular activity being used by all ages. It was clean and well kept. There is a small shop within the reception area which sells gifts food, drinks etc and also tea and coffee. As the hotel does not provide breakfast nor are there kettles in the room this was a good place to get a hot beverage. Failing this there is a 24hr Walgreens which sells sandwiches and coffee. There is a Chinese all you can eat buffet in the hotel grounds with a good choice of foods and a takeaway service too. All in all I will stay here again on my way back to Orlando airport (if there is a room available!)
"Great Value for the money"
Rooms and bedding clean the grounds and hotel are older but the pool was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay there again in the future. Over all a great value if your looking not spent a fortune on your room.

Our stay at The Continental Plaza Hotel was very enjoyable and the staff did all they could to make sure we were happy! The rooms were clean and made up every day and extra towels were not a problem. The pool was always clean and well taken care of. Many restaurants in the area were all within walking distance and the hotel provided free shuttles to all the parks and shopping malls.We had a great time and will definitely return.
"Great inexpensive find"
We were very pleasantly surprised by the value for money here. Ample space, very clean, super comfortable bed, excellent free breakfast. Very good customer service too. I would stay or put people up here no problem.

this hotel was good for the price and the location was also good close to all the theme parks, restaurants, stores and much more the room was clean and stocked well with towels and toiletries every day parking was no problem wifi was not available in the room only in the lobby there was a mini store.
"For the price"
This is 5 stars not because the hotel is a 5-star hotel but because everything exceeded my expectations FOR THE PRICE I PAID. Our flight came in at 11:30 pm and we couldn't check into our condo until the next day. We just needed somewhere cheap to sleep for the night. We got this place for a ridiculously good price and I was a more than a little nervous about it. But it was fine. The rooms were clean. There weren't bugs. It was fine. I don't know what people expect when the book a lower end hotel because I don't see why this place has bad reviews. I will say, my parents who had a separate room, did not sleep well because they thought the beds/pillows were uncomfortable. Maybe we were just super tired but my whole family slept fine. And even though I booked two rooms in the same transaction, they didn't give us two rooms together. Annoying but again, for the price I paid...not a big deal.
"No frills"
Very clean, no frills hotel. For what we paid it was excellent. Very close to Disney World, they did have a shuttle bus to the parks. Free wifi in the lobby. We booked it through getaroom.com it stated there was free breakfast, but I was told they never have served breakfast here.
"I thought it was ok but pricey"
Stood there for 3 weeks back in November of 2009, The Pros: Nice staff, room was always kept clean, salt water heated pool which i never new existed which i have to admit it felt better then chlorine pools lol, Close to everything. Cons: Could use a better WiFi system the best place to get better service was next to the lobby, Continental breakfast needs to be upgraded if it hasn't been already.

we stayed there for three nights. The Staff was super nice, Rooms big and clean. Room Prices were super cheap when we stayed there, so the value was great. Would definitely recommend it if you are exploring Florida and need a place for some nights.
"Can't complain!!!"
Not sure why so many bad reviews for this place!! My friend and I stayed here when we went to Disney and we would happily stay here again. SUPER cheap, adequate facilities, great pool- not sure what more you could want for the price. Room was clean and checking in and out was a breeze. The hotel has free shuttles to the theme parks at limited times so this is quite handy- though for the Magic Kingdom shuttle you have to first go to Epcot then take a bus to the Magic Kingdom. The shuttle to Seaworld was VERY late (we are talking nearly 2 hours late)- not quite the hotel's fault but again something to watch for. Overall we were pleased with our stay here!
"Right on the strip"
Very convenient right in the strip. Close to doing and buffet. Friendly staff and cheap $25/night rates. Free shuttle to Disney, Universal Studios and SeaWorld saved us lots of hassle and money. It's closed to Public and Walgreens.
