"Impromptu Mini-Vacay"
My husband & I decided to surprise one of his friends who was visiting Myrtle Beach with his family. Since it was a last minute trip, everything on the oceanfront was sold out. I’m glad it was because we ended up here at the Courtyard. We have stayed at Courtyard Marriotts and have never been disappointed. This time was no different. The front desk staff were welcoming and gave us information about parking at the beach. Our room was great and clean. The Bistro was good. Like I said I love the Courtyard Marriott and this one is now a favorite of mine

This hotel was able to accommodate us immediately after having a horrible experience at another local roach motel.
They were understanding and attempted every possible measure to help us under a very unfortunate circumstance. Keke was very pleasant, kind, and understanding. The convenience was perfect, very close to all the excitement!!!

I just wanted to take a moment to commend the excellent staff at the Courtyard by Marriott Beach Broadway. We visited the property this past week for a birthday weekend getaway for our son's birthday. Upon learning it was a special occasion, Bridget at the front desk offered to place a gift in our room to surprise our son. It was a special touch and we all appreciated the gesture. The entire front desk staff, housekeeping and the Cafe staff were all wonderful and should be recognized.
Other benefits-great location if you want to walk to the Broadway complex. Great location if you want a hotel close to the airport or for the Wings Over Myrtle Beach Air Show.
"Nice hotel away from the hustle of Ocean Blvd."
I just returned home from an Easter weekend visit to Myrtle Beach. I wasn't originally too thrilled about staying off the Strip, but I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. This Courtyard at Marriott was a great alternative to being in the middle of the traffic and the really expensive holiday weekend rates of the oceanfront hotels. The drive to Ocean Blvd. is maybe 3 minutes with red lights and traffic, and Broadway at the Beach is next door, not to mention all the major roads of Myrtle Beach are a red light or two away, so there's plenty of action nearby. I visited with family, and our rooms were all conveniently beside each other. The hotel was pretty busy with lots of patrons, but you never really heard anyone once you walked through the main common areas. All staff members were pleasant and friendly, from housekeeping to front desk. The housekeeping crew was surprisingly friendly--you don't really get to talk to them in general, but they were extremely nice and complement the service that everyone is used to getting at check in and check out. This hotel is definitely worth it for those who don't need to be in oceanfront lodging and don't mind driving a little bit to get there. I'd stay here again!
