Crystal Beach Suites Hotel

I stayed at this resort for 5 days in Miami with my sister, 3 year old son, and a teenager. Please stay on the newly renovated side of the hotel. I had to upgrade to a bigger room for my toddler to be comfortable. The location was great, the grocery, liquor store and Walgreens were all walking distance. The kitchen had all the things you need to cook a meal. The fridge was tiny. the Beach was attached to the hotel which makes it nice if you juts want to go for a dip. The gym was the best I have seen it is a full gym. You can take the bus on Abbot Ave to South Beach of you don't feel like taking a cab. I used Uber to get around you have to use the address 6985 Collins Ave for Uber the Hotel is located on 71st and Collins. I enjoyed my self and I will stay again.

Stayed for 2 weeks on July 10th, reception area was cool, nice and large, checking in was friendly and quick. Room was very clean and everything worked ok. The room was in need of modernisation, but it was spacious cleaned everyday, and air-con worked great. Bed was comfy with plenty of pillows, and sheets changed everyday. Hotel staff, including the manager was very friendly and helpful which made our stay even more pleasurable. We witnessed quite a few improvements to the hotel during our stay, i.e. new mattresses and new lighting. The lift was abit slow, but we were only on the second floor so it wasn't too bad. The location is fantastic for the beautiful beach and the shops. We had a great stay and if we went back to Miami we would certainly go back to the Crystal Beach.

My wife and I had a great night at the hotel. We enjoyed all the amenities. The location of the hotel was awesome. We had a morning swim, and it was great. Close to restaurants and shopping. I would stay there again and again..

We love staying here and this is our "go to" location in North Miami Beach. The location is right on the beach, surrounded by great restaurants. The staff is very kind and always working hard to make our stay pleasant. The hotel is clean, nothing fancy but well maintained. Did I mention the location is perfect? The hotel is great for our family and the beach in front is great for our twins. We stay here every month for a getaway and will keep staying here!

This is our second year here, very good value for money north Miami is best place to stay very relaxing all the staff are excellent and its only a short taxi or bus ride to south beach. The Crystal suites is perfect for beach and perfectly situated for restaurants,supermarkets,fast food etc,We can't wait to return next year thanks

We paid usd95 for a night for a suite, as a quick stop to see Miami. It's a nice place, off the beach just off the north end of collins avenue. However in hindsight, would've preferred to stay closer to Miami beach and found art deco hotels for usd20 cheaper. The listing should be updated to North Miami beach as its shown as Miami beach, which is misleading. This place is 20mins by car to miami beach, so is more suited for long stay as its in a nice enough neighbourhood for a slice of Miami life. There's a Publix supermarket and cafes etc within a block. The room on the 2nd floor, has a cute kitchenette which was handy, and art deco touches which were nice. I liked that it was a real queen bed, and was a one bed studio. The TV area had a sofa bed, which had seen better days. The place had none of the moldy smell reported earlier, and had a pleasant smell throughout. We foubd the place clean and well looked after. I liked that we managed to stay at an art deco place, but if returning for 1-2 nights, would stay closer to Miami Beach. Recommended for families for long stay.

This place is the best on the beach so far. I really liked hotel service and ammenities and Guillermo is a darling. He told me where to go in the area and recommended me to see Greg who organised a tour for fishing and sightseeing.

We love staying at Crystal Resort. Great location, cozy apartment, good pool, etc. Chad is the best! He was always there for us! TVs are old, but work good. There are restaurants and stores near it. We'll definitely come back!

Nice lobby. Friendly welcoming staff. Very clean large room. Separate bedroom and living room-kitchen. Updated rooms very nice. My brother spent $35 a night extra for ocean view. An even larger room with large picture windows showing the beach. Very nice.

We spent 3 nights during September last year and it was a great big place, small oven, microwave and dishwasher in the rooms, 2 TVs and small living room. Small pool but with direct access to the beach.

This hotel met my expectations for my family . And after two bad experiences with hotels I found this one. It isn't luxurious but it's very clean. 1/2 a block from the beach and the pool . It has a kitchenette. You can find a Luxurious hotel that is expensive or get this inexpensive, clean hotel that was just what we needed for a couple of days.

Loved the fact that we could step out rite into the beach! Take the bus to south Miami for clubbing or Go shopping north to the mall & then come back to peaceful North Miami beach. Great location for the $$. Taxi ride from airport to hotel only $35 bucks for the distance

I love this hotel is very nice and comfortable the pool area is the bed you can listen to music and just have a nice time is also affordable and this is based on my nine times of renting at this hotel. I recommend this hotel to any and everyone

For the price offered I would definatly recommend this location No it is not in the mix of SoBe and the location/entrance can be a little off putting... our rental car was defiantly needed to get to the action. BUT the staff and quality of service really made up for it. Valet was quick the front desk very accommodating the alley way to the pool was a lil disjointed but once you got to it the pool was very Intimate and right off the beach. The view from the room was non existing the room was a little small but awesome with full kitchenet t.v.'s comfortable bed and nice bath. It comfortably sleep 4 adults (REQUEST A RENOVATED/UPDATED ROOM) AGAIN IT IS NOT IN THE MIX OF SoBe maybe a 10-15 min drive but its right on the beach and with in walking distance of a publix grocery and a liquor store WINNING

We just stayed her for 3 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday. Rates are very reasonable and the remodeled room was nice, a little small, but we made it work. Was nice to have the kitchenette too. Tons of shopping nearby and a lot of restaurants too. Was nice so we didnt have to rent a car. The beach and pool areas were nice and the evn provided towels if needed. Beach chair rentals were only $5, so not bad compared to $20 in South Beach. The lobby could use a little updated but the staff was very nice and friendly. Slow older elevators but it was fine. Would stay here again for sure!

We really enjoyed this property! Stayed on the 4th floor~ me, my sister and our mom. Was the perfect amount of space for us all. Didn't really use the kitchenette, but it was great to have the fridge and probably would have used it if we were there longer. We stayed only 3 nights. Met other family down there and they stayed as well. The walls were pretty thin though. Wasn't a big deal unless your neighbors are in their room same time as you and they are loud. I thought the bed was too hard and same with pillow. But I like softer smooshy. Just my opinion. Air conditioning in room worked great~ if the door was half closed, usually when the air kicked back on, it shut the door. Toilet was really really noisy when flushing. We did not rent a car in Miami, and didn't need one. There is a Publix just a couple of blocks down to go get food and drinks. Lots of food choices within walking distance. You will not go hungry! There is a beach shop called Wings right across the street. Beach is just behind the hotel. You can rent a chair and umbrella for 15.00 a day. If you want to go to the casino, they will come get you and pick you up. We did not know that they would get us. When we inquired at the front desk, they said we had to get a cab. So we did, but learned at the casino, they would have driven out to our hotel and brought us back. There are vending machines on the first floor. If you are looking for the pop machine, it is around the corner. Pool area was pretty basic. Saw a sign for hot-tub, but didn't find the hot tub. Maybe it was in the health club. Not sure. We did not use that. You can set up your tours there. Front desk staff was great. All the staff we encountered were great. No problems at all. We would definately stay here again

The hotel was clean upon arriving and was clean throughout, the room was spotless and the bathroom was immaculately clean, the only downside is that the shower took 5-10 minutes to warm up but that is not the end of the world The receptionists that we encountered were incredibly friendly, helpful and amicable in every little question, or information that we had during our stay.

Right on the quiet beach; excellent staff makes up for age of facility. Lots to do nearby. Only ten minutes to the heart of South Beach but miles away from the noise. Some of the rooms have been remodeled; the rest are in line.

Great location!! Mcdonald's across the street, Subway next door, great ice cream shop next door, great frozen yogurt shop across the street next to Mcdonald's, Miami Subs across the street, one block away from George's Italian restaurant! All these places are walking distance from the hotel and all are excellent!! Location, location, location!!! The beautiful laid back beach is in the back yard of this hotel. The swimming pool is very nice and clean with a tropical landscape setting around the pool area. This hotel offers a complete gym with both free weights and machines. Wow never been to a hotel with a gym with all the equipment that my local gym offers me at membership cost but all is yours for free while you are a guest at this hotel!! Parking is accessible on 72nd street which is a short walk from the lobby doors. Parking costs $1.00 per hour and the meters are checked from 8 am until 6 pm seven days a week. So basically parking is free from 6 pm until 8 am. They offer valet parking for $27 dollars a day not counting tips which are expected after you pay the 27 dollars, but I believe thats a rip off! I can walk just a short block away to the city parking lot on 72nd and pay only 10 dollars a day. That's a total savings of $17 dollars a day! You do the math and tell me which one is the better option! Police presence is very apparent in Miami Beach so I felt my car was safe while parked on 72nd street. As far as the rooms they were pretty nice. Water pressure in the shower wasn't very good. Room had excellent air conditioning. Decor was outdated as others have described. You pay for 2 stars but I feel like it was 3 or 4 star value. Had a nice ice machine on the 4th floor which I used to keep my drinks ice cold. Our room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. I really enjoyed this hotel and most certainly for what I paid for it was well worth the money! It's not the nicest place I have stayed but when you only pay for 2 stars you can't expect much! Although it exceeded my expectations and based on other reviews I say they're being to picky on their reviews. Great place to stay and I love some Miami Beach!!! Definately would recommend this place to friends.

Rooms have a good amount of space. There is metered parking all around hotel for no cost from 6 pm to 8am. front desk was helpful in changing our dollars to quarters. Right next to beach and lots of food close by. Comes with dishes and sink an dishwasher microwave mini fridge etc which is very convenient. shower and toilet are seperated from sink so mirror and sink can be used by someone else at same time

Great location, near a couple of restaurants, vis a vis the beach, a little swiming pool with a gate facing the beach, relation price to other location in the beach is 1 to 3 ( meaning three times cheaper) suites with kitchen an additional room. I had a good time. Of course do no wait for a 5 stars quality, but for a family staying 10 days is great. Of course I asked for a quiet room not facing the Collins Avenue. The staff was really friendly.
