If you are looking for a good place to stay when visiting Disney this is a great choice with a good location close to everything. The bus service to the parks is good and so is the parking. Close places to eat right down the street and you can see the fireworks from the hotel in the evening from your room if you have an even number room. The odd number rooms face the pool and the interstate so take that into consideration when you select your room.

"Great location and service"
Stayed here with my family in March, they were going to the parks, I was playing golf at nearby courses. Great location to Disney Springs (downtown Disney). They have a Disney store onsite to buy tickets (very convenient) and shuttles to all Disney parks every 30 minutes. Room was a large two room suite that had a fridge and microwave. We stayed on level 7 with a nice view. I would rate this hotel a 5 if it was newer, but they've done a nice job updating the place. If you are Hilton Honors member continental breakfast is free, upgrade to full breakfast $5 per person which is a great deal. Parking is $17 per day. Would stay here again, staff was great!
"Excellent!"
We stayed here while on vacation watching the college playoff game at the Russell Athletic Bowl! Perfect hotel from the beginning when we were welcomed with a warm cookie to the end with an easy check out! The bar in the hotel was great with multiple TV's playing other college football games!
"Best spot for families!"
When you have 5 children, the hotel situation can be a struggle. This Hilton property is my absolute favorite spot to stay when visiting Orlando with my kids. All suites, plenty of space, a shuttle to the parks... You can't beat the location and the staff and rooms are lovely. This is our third visit and I'm sure we will be back!
"Perfect Hotel for Disney Trip"
My husband and I just left from a weekend trip to the Magic Kingdom. We drove to the park with friends, but ended up staying later than them... the shuttle service was wonderful. For being a popular hotel for Disney-goers, it was wonderfully quiet. Our room was very spacious (a one-bedroom with queen beds and a small living space) and we were very excited to see a fridge and microwave which were great for leftovers and snacks. Would definitely consider staying again. Close to area restaurants too, which was a bonus.
"Good Trip !!!!"
We recently stayed here over the weekend to visit the magic kingdom and to walk around Disney Springs. The check-in was fast and went well. We liked the room (suite)with all of the extra space it provided. We had a small problem setting the thermostat below 68 but the front desk quickly sent someone to our room to fix it. They fixed the problem and we didn't have any other issues. I wasn't crazy about having to pay for self-parking but I know a lot of places do this. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We would return and stay again; we thought it was a great location and a good value. Oh we also used the heated pool outside which was a nice touch !
"Great Hotel"
We enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree Suites in Lake Buenta Vista. Having access to free transportation to all the Disney parks was wonderful. The staff at the hotel is helpful, and we liked having an on-site restaurant that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. We felt that the lunch and dinner menu choices could have been better (they had more to offer on our last stay) and the breakfast is over priced for what is offered.
"Another excellent stay"
We had yet another typical experience at the DoubleTree: excellent. Any problems were quickly taken care of and the restaurant staff is always very friendly. Only real problem was the Little Extras machine. That was a pain in the rear end. That being said, if you have a problem with the Little Extras machine (junk food and drinks that you either pay for 20 units or they will upgrade certain HHonors members), they will send you to the hotel convenience store to replace what you did not get. Obvious tip: don't get rooms closest to the elevators; not because the elevators are loud, but because people congregate there. Also, the stairwell leads directly outside and not the lobby. This property also provides free USA Today, Wall Street Journal during the week and Orlando Sentinel all week long. This property is at the end of the Disney Springs hotels, but I used the distance for exercise. My family used to stay at Disney resorts all the time, but every time I check, the Hilton properties are cheaper.
"*******7 STAR HOTEL *******"
Our experience always begins with Tim the bellman. He knows us and recognizes us as part of "his" family. Tim makes us feel at home and that my wife and I are the most important guests at "his" hotel. The check in process further continued this feeling of special as we were recognized as Diamond guests. It does not seem like much, but it matters. The hotel is spotless and the service second to none. To my wife and I there is only one hotel in Orlando, and it is the Doubletree Guest Suites.
"Nice niche"
15 mins from Magic kingdom, less than 10 mins from Hollywood and Epcot. Less than $225 per night for 2 queens and a sofa bed....hard to go wrong. Decor is nice, room clean and quite. Parking is $17 per night but no resort fee. We drove our own cars to the park which gave us more freedom and made it real easy to take the 3 year old back for naps. We did eat at the cafe one night and it hit the spot but nothing memorable. Great value for money and a nice alternative to the overcrowded and small mid range resorts. Thanks

Gina, who was our server when we dined in for the breakfast buffet, went above and beyond to give us an enjoyable dining experience. She is attentive, polite and made our first impression of Double Tree great! She is the key to happy customers.
"Disney Vacation!"
We booked this when we booked a vacation time share tour. The hotel was pretty nice. The air conditioner in our room was not working first night but they took care of it the next day. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We used the shuttle to go to Hollywood Studios. A great perk! Never ate at the restaurant. Too cool to use the pool. Only an outdoor pool. We got a great rate for doing the timeshare tour. Not sure I would pay the regular price next time. If you are a Hilton Honors member you get free wifi if you aren't you don't .
"Staff go above and beyond"
The staff made our trip extremely delightful. We had no issues or problems and had a fabulous vacation. The hotel offered a complimentary shuttle to Disney parks and were on schedule every time. The hotel is within walking distance of Disney Springs (Downtown Disney). Rooms were clean and my family was very comfortable.
"Large, suite-style rooms"
Doubletree hotels are very comfortable, with a living/dining area and a completely separate bedroom. Great for families or conducting business, without the discomfort of having a bed in the same room. Room came with "little extras", which included upgraded coffee in the room and a code to access drinks/snacks from the vending machines in the hall, up to 20 times per day. Breakfast buffet was a little pricey ($17.95), but there were plenty of choices and the coffee is pretty good by Orlando standards.
"Comfortable large room"
The rooms were a nice size.clean and comfortable. Very close to Disney Springs. I thought the fee that was charged for self parking was very high. Also the self parking access took a few times to work. I would return to this hotel in the future.
"Great Hotel!"
Loved this hotel! It was really clean and bright. Our room was a suite and it was really a great size. It was clean and updated. The air conditioner was adequate for our needs. At the very least it provided white noise throughout the night which we like. The bathroom was nice and clean. My only complaint would be the shower head. Never get enough pressure out of them to wash our hair (we have thick hair so the rain feature doesn't get the soap out) unless you turn to massage feature which pounds you in the head. Oh well. The pool area was clean and lovely to sit out at. Breakfast was great.
"Surprising Rooms!"
Booked this hotel because all the value Disney Resorts were full and this is right at Disney Springs. Was pleasantly surprised. The room was a suite and was not aware of how "sweet" for the price. A living area, a bedroom, and a full size bathroom! Everything was clean and at all doubletree's ive stayed at the staff is very nice. Great stay and will be staying here for future Disney and Business stays in the Kissimee area.
"weekend getaway"
My husband and I love the Double Tree lake Buena vista. Everyone is so very respectful and friendly. Our room was on the 1st floor w/a balcony outside surrounded by foliage. It was so quiet for us while sleeping. The bed is separated by a sliding door and on the other side is a living room like setting and eating area w/refridge, microwave, small sink and coffee maker. It was perfect for us. We had breakfast at the restaurant which is a buffet both mornings. Very filling and good also had dinner 1 night, this menu was very limited but worked for us due to the late hour that we ate. There is a nightly parking fee, $17 plus tax, but no resort fee. The pool area is very nice. Everything is very clean and well kept. We used the shuttle service for our trip to Animal Kingdom. Coming back was quite a wait because they were running behind but otherwise it worked out great. We walked to Disney Springs which is very close by and easy to get on foot, also safe. We will stay again at this location, we had a great weekend!

These two ladies handled our meetings at the hotel for three days. They were incredible. They learned all of our names and just made us feel like family! I will most definitely come back to this hotel just to say hello to them!! They were absolutely wonderful
"Sales Meeting"
This hotel had exceptional staff that were very attentive to our needs. Individually as well as a group! Very impressive! All of the food choices for snacks and meals were wonderful, well beyond most "hotel meals". They were able to also get us in touch with the Disney Institute for a wonderful teambuilding experience. Our meeting space was kept clean and clear for our entire stay!
"Excellent Stay"
I had booked this room for our night before entering Disney World so that we could get a good nights rest and get organized for hitting the parks after checking into our Disney Resort. The room was much larger than expected and had everything you expected in a suite. The hotel was very quiet and close to everything you would need. If you are planning a trip to Disney and don't want to stay at one of their resorts I would recommend staying here. They run shuttles to Disney and the price is very reasonable. The pool is outside so depending on the weather you won't be able to swim. There is a $17/day self parking fee or a $20/day valet parking fee.
