Excellent property! Great location! Room are large and clean. The outdoor pool and grounds are very well maintained. This is a real nice property for families. There are a couple of BBQ outside and everyone can use them. Nothing bad to say about this place at all.

    These spacious rooms include with King or 2 Queen beds. The room location provides a front door for easy parking access and also offers a back door that in summer has a patio or second floor balcony. Refrigerator and microwave, hair dryer, 32 flat panel tv and free wi-fi Sleeps 4
    • One Bedroom Suite
      The suite provides a living room with one queen sleep sofa and separate bedroom with one king bed. Additional offerings: refrigerator, microwave, 2 t.v.'s DVD player, bar sink, iron & board, free wi-fi and hair dryer Sleeps 5
      • Two Bedroom Suite
        These suites have just opened in the Fall of 2013. They feature two bedrooms with one king bed in each. There are two bathrooms with a full kitchen complete with cookware and utensils. The living room offers a queen size pull out sleep sofa. There are two gas fireplaces, one in the main living room and a second in the master bedroom. There are tv's located in each room. Maximum guests in each unit is 6 persons.

    "Very nice place!"
    Excellent property! Great location! Room are large and clean. The outdoor pool and grounds are very well maintained. This is a real nice property for families. There are a couple of BBQ outside and everyone can use them. Nothing bad to say about this place at all.

    Always clean, very comfortable, updated style furniture and bathrooms, friendly staff, ample parking, 5 min drive to downtown North Conway, access to snow shoeing and snowmobiling trails right off the property, discounted lift tickets for skiers. Different types of rooms are available (king size bed, two queen size beds, etc.). Very good price for great quality. If you are a repeat customer, you may qualify for a discount. Choose the back building if you want to be further away from the road.

    My husband my children and myself stayed in a suite. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect size for the 6 of us. Everything was in perfect order. This was our 4th stay, 2nd with the kids. All staff are so friendly.

    Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and clean room. Wi-fi was good, morning coffee was a nice touch. Very close to area shopping, both the big chains and outlet stores and the local country and specialty stores. The room i had also had a private balcony with a view of the mountains in the back ground. Very nice view.

    There are a lot of options of places to stay in North Conway; and to be honest, over the years, we have stayed at many. We decided to spend a few days during Christmas week up north and after reading the reviews on Golden Gables, we decided to take a chance on spending three nights there. Glad we did. Room was large, clean, quiet and perfect for us. I think we had King deluxe room (2nd floor in back with a private balcony). We had snow one night and the parking lot was plowed by morning. No coffee makers in room but we brought small kcup machine and it worked for us. Great location for shopping and restaurants. Very reasonable price. We will definitely stay here again.
    "North Conway Ski and Stay"
    Two night stay over the Christmas break. The room was modern and very clean. Well furnished. Front desk staff was helpful with attraction ideas given the lack of snow. Great overall value, much nicer than places in the area that charge twice the price. Only drawback is lack of an indoor pool if you are looking for that.
    "This hotel is very clean and affordable"
    We have stayed at the Golden Gable Inn many times but I have never written a review. This hotel doesn't look like much from the front but it is a great place to stay. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. In the summer time when the pool area is open they have a grilling area and a fire pit for all guests to use. It is a great place to stay!

    Very nice motel, reasonable price for a very clean and modern facility. Comfortable bed although the sheets seemed a little worn. Great central location. Curious as to why there was no coffee maker in the room and no wifi offered but minor details, we'll stay here again.

    The Golden Gables Inn is a great value! Very friendly staff, rooms are clean, good size bathroom and a great location! We stayed on the second floor and it was quiet, and the balcony was nice to have.
    "Great overnight shopping trip stay."
    I stayed one night in room 214. This was a double queen room with a small private balcony overlooking the common area (pool, BBQ chairs, playground equipment and a fire pit. I specifically requested a quieter room and this was perfect! The shower had great pressure, heat was quiet and comfortable and the room was super clean. Outside areas are very well lit and the manager was very courteous. Within easy walking distance to a few casual restaurants. Overall really nice stay, I would return and recommend.
    "Great place to stay"
    We stayed for a Friday and Saturday night. It was our second time staying there. Both times were great. The receptionist was very friendly and really has an impact on one's opinion of the Inn right from the start. The Inn does everything right. I have nothing bad to say about the place. Very clean. Beds comfortable. WIFI perfect. Cable TV perfect. Noise from other rooms was minimal. Location is great. We will stay there every time in North Conway.

    I was expecting fairly basic accommodation at Golden Gables Inn. My expectations were well surpassed. The woman on the desk at check in was very friendly and welcoming. The room (we had a king suite) was very spacious and very clean. I think it was recently renovated. I went back to ask for more blankets and these were brought with no delay and no hassles (not always the case I have found in my accommodations). Check out was with a different person and she was also friendly and efficient. This isn't a luxurious hotel but if you're looking for spacious, clean and friendly staffed accommodation, this is a great option. I really can't fault it.
    "A great place to stay"
    We have stayed here on several occasions. I've gone up with my entire family and I've also gone with my husband on small weekend getaways. Every time we stay we are always pleased. The prices are perfect, the rooms are always clean, the service is exceptional. We especially love the hot tub rooms, it's such a nice place to just get away. And the location is perfect, it's located right in the middle of everything! We'll definitely return.

    This was our second stay, absolutely wonderful. Check-in was speedy and the clerks were very pleasant. Room was immaculate. First stay was in a king room, comfy bed lots of extra pillows, bonus in my book. Second time around is in a queen Jacuzzi room, jacuzzi is ok size for two, hubby and I are both good size and managed to both get in. Make sure to get in the tub after it starts to fill, water displacement. Will definitely be back
    "Very happy with this hotel and staff."
    The Golden Gables Inn is perfectly located on the main highway/street of the North Conway area and literally seconds from famous factory outlet shopping and awesome restaurants. They constantly update their rooms and have a very friendly staff. Super clean. Best part is they are only minutes from Storyland, skiing, hiking, Conway Scenic Railroad and seasonal events and you can walk to 50 or so Tax-Free outlet shops.
    "Beautiful and comfortable"
    We spent two nights in this hotel, since we arrived we were so welcomed by an attentive front desk ,don't remember his name but he gave us a lot of information about the area, he was so helpful. The room was so clean and spacious. We loved the balcony with an spectacular view.
    "A very well maintained Motel"
    A warm welcome and then to the second block of rooms (not facing the road) and up to room 203. The room was large with a huge super king bed, settee, fridge, microwave, good bathroom with good toiletries, super soft white towels and balcony overlooking the pool. Everything was immaculate (the cleaning staff do a wonderful job). In fact, all the grounds, including the super pool area are beautifully maintained with well tended lawns and flowers around. And, hallelujah, a small laundry facility (great when you are on a long road trip). They do have excellent coffee in reception but it is great to have coffee in bed when you are on vacation. That minor point being said, this is a great motel and highly recommended.
    "wonderfull hotel and great stay"
    This hotel is very well located on the main street in north conway. the motel really looks nice and I really enjoyed my stay here. the lady at the desk was very friendly and provided me with all the info I needed. We stayed 2 nights here and the 2nd day we also spend some time at the lovely pool. Alltough its not that large its a good size. The motel also provides free pool towels so thats also a big plus. the room itself was very large and i think this was recently refurbished. Our room had a nice deck at the back with a view on the garden and pool which was really nice. The bathroom was very clean and very modern. Nothing to compain about. the wifi sometimes has its hickups but i can live with that. all in all great motel to stay. don't think you can find a better deal for that value. Can definitly recommend this!

    Great place to stay on the main drag of North Conway quick drive to outlets, bars restaurants and train station! The scenic rail road passes right through the hotel grounds! We requested a hotel room at the rear off the main road and found it to be peaceful! The pool hot tub, bbq and fire pit are all great facilities which are underplayed by the hotel I feel! Clean rooms helpful staff we couldn't ask for more!

    We loved our King suite which fit our family of 4 perfectly. There was enough room for our little ones to run around and it was pretty and clean. We loved the pool and the our kids loved the playground! We really enjoyed our stay here and are definitely planning on staying again!
