"Great Vacay!"
Had an oceanview on the 3rd floor--fantastic view! We really enjoyed being able to take our daughter & son-in-law for a vacation at the Grand Mayan. The 2 Bedroom suite was spacious & comfortable for the 4 of us...& nice to have the kitchen for a quick breakfast a few times during the week. The resort is clean--pools are in great shape & the landscaping is the best I've ever seen at a resort. Safe, secure location with a wonderful friendly staff. We'll be back!

"4 generation family vacation"
The employees were great. The food, not so great. It seems that the presentation was more important than what was being served. We had 9 adults and 4 kids. The Gong charged us for 12 adults. 2 of the kids left the table because of the fire on the grill scared them.
"Rest and Relaxation"
We spent two very restful weeks, enjoying the pools, restaurants, and beach. Because of the rainy season, there were times of simply staying in the room, but we knew that when we booked. All of the staff are most pleasant and helpful and very personable. It is especially a nice place for families to come to.

We went three years ago and we're excited to return. It's great to have so many restaurants and the shuttle service to get around. Food was awesome but the beach was muddy due to previous rainfall. Spa was nice but we did not bring our swimsuits, which we needed for the hot tub. We love the pools and lazy river. We wish the waves in the lazy river were on more.

This is our second time at a Vidanta property and as always 5 star service all the way! The food in their vast selection of restaurants was phenomenal!! Our favorite is Azur where Luis Angel and Felix attended to our every need and served us some of the best food we have ever had with a view to kill!! THANKS Felix and Luis Angel!!! Also, Carlos at the pool with the activities committee was amazing! Super friendly and can arrange for a really fun Pool Jenga game!!! We participated in a couple of the pool events and they were made fun because of his attentiveness and way with people he is great! THANKS CARLOS!! We will ALWAYS come back to Vidanta with our Timeshare because to be honest they ALWYAS beat the competition with their food, service, selection, and way of treating guests!

Everything you can legally imagine is provided. Any kind of massages , sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, Swedish shower, pedicure, manicure, hair, quiet.... comfortable in every aspect. My favorite is the large jacuzzi pool. Oh yes, the cold plunge... could spend the day...

We all were very happy cause the kids have many pools to choose from very secured and safeted place but the thing i didnt like is the people try to make you buy a time shere or upgrated to a more expensive one. there very persistand and your waiste lost of time in the presentation.

Was impressed with the customer service and security. Pools were well kept and very clean--there were pools for adults and kids and excellent activities for kids. .Food was excellent at all the restaurants we tried and enjoyed shopping for food at the Plaza. So much to do and so little time. Have to come back!
"All-in-all; The Best Place To Stay"
I'm making this short and to the point. This place was absolutely beyond what I had imagined before I got there. We did not have an ocean front room, BUT we had a view off the back of the hotel and it was still perfect. I was able to watch the light show from my balcony every single night which was awesome! The staff was what sealed the deal and made this vacation so much fun. The housekeeping did an excellent job considering we had 6 people in one room and became messy easily. The front desk was extremely helpful with replacing the battery in our door when we weren't able to get in and they were very friendly. Now let me talk about the activities by the pool and the Joy Squad. I ended up becoming friends with a few people from the Joy Squad. They all made activities extremely fun and everyone is super friendly. They are so full of enthusiasm and they make you never want to leave the resort. A huge shoutout to German, Carlos, Okimy, and the rest of the Joy Squad for making my vacation the most memorable yet. I can't wait to come back!
"Grand Luxxe Spa"
The way the resort is kept, landscaped, amenities food, and gracious personal should become the definition of a superb resort. Very safe to move about, special areas designed for young children of all ages and of course restaurants of many food varieties and prices. Night life, dancing and specialty bars. Excursions are available to local sights, fishing etc. The 3 golf courses are excellent.
"Great vacation"
Marvelous place to have a family vacation. Yes... prices inside resort may be too hi, but service is great. And there may be an annoying sales force who will try to capture you in an endless six hour sales-trap session (do not pay them attention and try by any means not to go with them no mater what they offer you). BUT at the end the experience is super great. We have been travelling to this hotel for almost twenty years, and each year it becomes better, and better, and better. This time things went a bit rough. My older son had an inconvenient experience after playing all morning under the sun, and he had a heat-stroke by mid day. -- No problem with this! Hotel staff helped us at all time, advising the best options to overpass the moment, taking my son with an inside medical doctor, providing first aid by a paramedic, and even sending a "get well" note with macaroons to our room. We loved all this care. After this experience my next vacation... WILL BE HERE!!!
