"Huge room...very clean. Nice stay!"
Came up with the family for a quick overnight. We had driven by the Green Granite on other trips to North Conway and when we saw they had availability, we booked a room with two Queen size beds. The lady behind the front desk was very friendly and helpful at check in. Part of the Inn appears to be setup like a motel (where you park right outside the room) and those rooms are out near the busy road. Our assigned room was not in that part of the complex so we entered from inside the Inn. First impression was that the room was physically very large. Some aspects of our room were a little dated (TV, furniture) but the room was very clean and was setup very well. The shower was GREAT. We stayed but one night but wouldn't hesitate to book again on a future trip to North Conway.
"Budget friendly"
My husband and I took an overnight stay here, and had a pleasant stay. It is next to everything, the staff were friendly, as well as helpful. The breakfast was okay, wished they would have had gone fries, but they did have a variety of items to select from. I would recommend a stay to others:-)
"February vacation ski trip"
Our family went up during February vacation. The location was wonderful. Close to restaurants, shopping and skiing. The kids loved it. The room was a nice size. The room was also very clean. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. I loved that there was coffee, 24 hours a day, in the main lobby. The pool area was a bit small but still fun for the kids. Breakfast was wonderful. The staff was always restocking and the food was delicious. If I'm going to book again, I would definitely book on the second floor.
"Getaway"
Thank you so much for allowing pets. The front desk staff were super nice and helpful. The rooms were a bit dated especially the tv but they were clean. The only thing that stopped me from giving a five star really was the breakfast. I have paid a lot less for a room many times in the past and have gotten a much better breakfast. There isn't much to pick from for the price you pay for staying there.
"Overnight Stay Friday February 19"
I was very pleased. Sign in was very pleasant, my room was ready. Really good size room. Furniture was outdated but very clean. Bed was awesome. The bathroom was good size and immaculate. The price was great. The lobby was very nice and inviting, breakfast servers were pleasant. Close to everything I wanted to do. I Would highly recommend.
"Ski trip"
We've booked vacation stays at GGI in the past and each time the staff and the accommodations were excellent. The pool was a big hit with the kids and the lobby is warm and inviting. This year 16' we planned a ski vacation however and a series of unfortunate events forced us to reschedule our reservations not once but twice. Each time the management was gracious and understanding. We try to visit North Conway NH often and although there are bigger hotels with flashier emenities the GGI will always get our business because they place the needs and concerns of their guests first.
"Ski Weekend"
This is the second time I stayed at the GGI. And, I also just booked it again for another weekend. The location is ideal for skiing and riding at a number of NH resorts. It's also conveniently located to some great pubs for Apres. The hotel itself is great! The lobby has a huge fireplace with couches and chairs. Very comfy! The room was certainly big enough for two people and it was meticulously clean. We also had a balcony to get some fresh air. And you can't beat the price! All around, this is great place to stay!
"Polar Express"
Great package for the Polar Express ! The staff was extremely helpful ! The rooms were a little dated but very comfortable. The indoor pool was great, the grandkids loved it. They had a very good breakfast included with the price.
"big rooms; handy location"
nice big lobby and public areas(breakfast in an old conveted mmetting room...it had an adequate amount of hot and cold foods and was clean). Room was big; clean; and well lit. nice check in and chceck out people.hot tub and indoor pool; fitness room all were clean.
"Very Nice place"
For the price we were happy with the accommodations. Yes it is a little dated however it was clean and very fitting to the surroundings. We would return in a min if it wasn't for the Canadian dollar value. Hopefully we can return soon it was a very satisfying trip for both of us.
"Relaxing in the forest"
It was a nice quiet location near the supermarket which we found handy. We did go at the right time of year for us as school had just gone back so it wasn't too busy. It's geared towards families so if your not partial to children probably not the place for you during the holidays. The only criticism we had was that the WIFI speed was very erratic. Overall we were satisfied.

"Older Hotel but first class all the way"
I stayed at this hotel while working in the area. Excellent Customer Service. Rooms are very clean, Beds are very comfortable. Fridge and Microwave in room. Private Balcony with chairs for every room whether first or second floor. Very peaceful sitting out on the balcony in the evening. Older style TV but great channel variety. Outlet Mall is nearby as well as the beautiful White Mountains. Definitely worth a drive if you decide to drive up into the mountains or take the Scenic Railroad nearby. Very beautiful Scenic Overlook north of town about 2 miles from the hotel. Great to view Sunsets. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.
"Wonderful room"
We needed a place to stay while visiting the area and just happened to stop here. We were very pleased with the room. Clean and extra comfortable beds. The towels were large and fluffy and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would stay there again if in the area.
"Nice Place to Stay"
This is a great place to stay if you want a clean, safe place near the outlets. For several years I have stayed here a couple of nights with my sisters in the Fall. This is our annual retreat, and we look forward to staying at the Green Granite. The staff are very nice and helpful and the breakfast is very good and free. We love this place!
"Weekend Trip"
I stayed at Green Granite Inn for 2 nights with my 2 sons (12 and 11). Check in was quick and easy. The hotel was clean but definitely a little outdated. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, some updating is needed though.
"Nice place to stay"
This is no 5 star inn but it's worth the money they charge. They have something for everyone. Two pools (indoor and outside), a small game room with 4 working machines, a gym and a large fenced in kids play ground outside. The rooms were clean. They had some paint issues but nothing that would make me worry. The floors were clean as was the bathrooms. We've been to some 5 star hotels that were in worse shape. The hostesses were excellent. Very pleasant and willing to help with all of our request. This is a very kid friendly place. I'm not saying it was noisy because it wasn't at all. No kids running up and down the halls. But there were kids playing in the pools. That's not a bad thing because we have kids also. The place is big enough that they could find a room tucked away in a corner if you wanted a little more peace.
"Great place to stay in North Conway"
We stayed at the Green Granite for 4 nights over a two week period while visiting our daughter who is working in the area for the summer. We came back and plan to stay there again in the future when in the area. It is priced well for the value. Clean, up to date with good beds and AC. The breakfast does not offer any fruit and so we went elsewhere for breakfast, but given the 50 dollar a night cheaper value than other places, it is well worth it. Desk staff are very helpful and cheerful and matched online pricing. Indoor pool a bit cooler than we are accustomed to.
"Good value, continental breakfast lacking in healthy choices"
Staff was friendly and helpful. Playground area for the child was a nice addition. Indoor pool was the perfect temperature. Walking distance to food and outlets. Only healthy option at breakfast was a big bowl of yogurt. Would have like to see fruit and other healthier options. Free wifi without worrying about passwords was a welcome plus.
"Good value"
Green Granite is a friendly downeast hotel. they provide great amenities ,pleasant service , and nice touches like a local paper and coffee in the lobby We have stayed several times and they always make us feel welcome
