"Best Vacation Value"
We booked our all inclusive vacation through Dream2Travel for 6 days / 5 nights for two people for $299.00. I know...crazy, huh? That's really the price too. Plus it included your shuttle from the airport to the resort....one way only...you pay for your return. We were supposed to be at Marina Fiesta, but they had overbooked and we were taken to Hacienda Encantada. We were so lucky since this is such a better hotel and secluded off the cliffs on the ocean and in a beautiful setting. It included a junior suite with two queen beds, a fully stocked kitchenette, a beautiful bathroom with a jetted tub and a huge balcony for lounging. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pools are refreshing. We especially liked the infinity pools by the ocean.The all inclusive dining is great. We ate at the restaurants and bars on the property and they were excellent. If you had to pay for these meals in Cabo it would have run around $50 pp for breakfast, $75 for lunch and $100 for dinner. We even ate at the restaurants on the Gold Coast that were covered under the all inclusive. No problems with food and drinks....all included! We saved a bundle there because food in Cabo is very expensive. The catch to all of this is that you have to sign that you will listen to their presentation on Hacienda Encantada, but I have to say, it wasn't difficult at all and not high pressure. When we said "no, thank you," it was over. It took a few hours of our time, but it was actually interesting. We loved our stay here and felt that this was one of the best vacation values we have ever gotten on-line.

We booked all inclusive through Dream2Travel. It was all screwed up at the beginning because we originally booked the Marina Fiesta (sister hotel) but D2T didn't tell us that they moved our reservation over to Hacienda so we wasted a few hours at the wrong hotel! We arrived at Hacienda and were greeted by a tray Full of drinks for us to choose to calm the sting ;) Wonderful service (Moises, Rafael), wonderful food (Thank you Carlos!) and just a BEAUTIFUL property. We will be back next year with our girls. There is just TOO MUCH GOOD THINGS to say! Loved my stay at the Hacienda!!

"Amazing Resort-Food-Service!"
We just got home from the Hacienda Encantada Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The general manager Gabriel Ibarra gave us VIP treatment right from the beginning...
The grounds, restaurants, common restrooms, pool areas, hallways and suite room were all amazingly beautiful, clean and well kept. We loved the view and peacefulness of the area.
From the moment the bell boys Carlos and Armando guided us to our destinations, to setting up our lounge day by the ocean and pool bar at El Patio with the Pool Boy Ignacio, servers Betsy and Lorenzo, late lunch at La Pergola for great sushi with sushi chef Felix, and the manager Jose, to dinner at La Trajinera Restaurant with the manager Alejandro, and server Lazaro, we were relaxed and very well taken care of by all.
The food was both hot and tasty.
We were invited to the cooking class, but decided that we have had enough to eat by then, and stayed by the pool and ocean.
In the evening, we took the free shuttle (round trip free with the all inclusive plan) to their sister resort and spent time on the marina shopping and stopped for dessert and a good night drink on our way back to Hacienda Encantada at one of the 5 dinner locations at the Golden Zone called Jack's Bar and Grille, also included as part of the all inclusive plan.
I would definitely recommend this location for your next stay in Cabo San Lucas.
"AnotherAmazing Stay"
We have owned here before the hole was even dug to build this resort. This resort is all about rest, relaxation and peace. Not a party place for sure but an elegant place to unwind and be absorbed in nature. We watch the cruise ships come and go and watch the waves hitting the rocks. February and March watch the whales right from your desk. Very safe, immaculately clean and such a friendly staff. Can't wait to return.

This resort is actually 1/2 hour drive away from the crazy downtown with a free shuttle there in case you would like to party like you're 21. The resort is built down the side of rock cliffs with amazing panoramic views of the pacific ocean & the sea of cortez. All of the staff is so friendly & helpful. You will no doubt meet Fernand who is the activities director! If you cant think of anything you want to do one day, Fernand will give you a project & make you have a good time. I highly recommend doing his meditation sessions in the morning to start your day, getting a massage in the spa (ask for Maria - you wont be disapointed), doing a Temazcal ceremony, and playing pool volleyball in the afternoon with Fernand! Happy Hour at the swim up bar inside the pool starts right after volleyball and the drinks are bogo free! My favorite - the spicy mango margaritas and the Miami Vice!
"AMAZING!"
Apart from the boring and waste of a time Time share presentation, everything about this resort was magical! We stayed here for a week on their "All inclusive" option. The food was absolutely delicious. What made this resort extraordinary was their staff, everyone was very pleasant and went out of their way to help you or make sure you are having a wonderful time. I will definitely be going back!!!
"Attended a pleasant timeshare promotion here."
The view and property is nice but hilly and out of town. Not for everyone but looks like it will be very luxurios when finished. We were shown an outstanding unit with gorgeous Mexican flare style and furniture.I prefer something finished..they've been working on building the place for many years. The gentlemen who took on the tour and presentation were very respectful of our time and explained the program very well but we said we were not interested and they accpepted our response instead of being insulting like some can be. I appreciated that very much.
"Our 5th stay"
Things are changing at this beautiful resort. It it getting better with some exceptions.
The pool bars and restaurants are now under the management of Martha. She is doing a fantastic job with service and food. Moises is a great bartender / waiter. He works hard and has a good personality to deal with customers. These restaurants, la Pergola and el Patio are good during the day but close at 7:00 PM. They actually serve better food ( even full meals) than the main restaurant - Los Riscos. Martha may be of help to the management up at the other restaurants.
The views from here are beautiful. The staff knows you by name very quickly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.
Get a room on the upper floors of Phase 1 and listen to the surf at night.
We have reservations for next year. Looking forward to it.

We just had another fantastic trip to HE, our 7th trip down, and it was one of our best yet!!! We thank Oscar, Fernan at the pool who spent many hours with our kids, Herman who just started, Moises, Francisco, Esmeraldo (and Crystal on the way):), Andres/Daniel,Israel (at Los Riscos), Armando, who taught my son how to throw a knuckle ball, and all the other staff who made an extra effort to make our trip a great one! Its these individuals that make all the difference, cant wait to get back!
"Encantada"
Ok just got back from Cabo, first time there, super easy to get there on Sunwing airlines stayed for a 2 week Holiday! Direct flight and the winter has been brutal so it was a great break. Stayed for a week in La Paz at a friends house, and a week in CABO at HACIENDAS Encantada, Loved the resort, we had a room overlooking the rocks and the bay and it was really nice. Room had a nice kitchen which was a welcome change, from normally traveling in Mexico or the DR it is all inclusive, so we liked this option. The resort is about 10 minutes from downtown but not bad and very relaxing. Husband loves to Golf and there were 2 courses next door (way better golf in Cabo then in la Paz). Las Trajinerias restaurant is really great had a few great meals there such a nice setting. The room we had was low down by the sea but on the cliff side, close to the pool, i would recommend main building by the lobby as it is a little walk back to the lobby, store etc. Overall great spot and would definitely go back for another visit.
"Awesome stay at HE"
My husband and I (both in our 40s) stayed here for five nights in March 2014. We LOVED it. We did our research, so we knew there was no beach, and we were fine with that. The view from our lounge chair more than made up for not having a beach to walk. If you can't live without a beach, however, this place is not for you!
We had a great time watching for whales. Be sure to bring your binoculars!
The food at El Patio was great. The shrimp were especially tasty with a bucket of ice-cold Dos Equis. It was wonderful having heated pools...my new must-have when traveling to Mexico . The infinity pools are heavenly.
This is a very quiet resort, which we love. If you like shows and lots of action, again, not for you.
We have never stayed at the same resort twice, but this would be one we would stay at again, definitely.
"You Rock!"
We own at this fabulous resort. It is under new management and there are good changes. No card for the pool towels, and for owners you can ride the taxi into Cabo for no charge! From the time we checked in to the time we left it was all good. The taco bar was great - actually the best meal we had there! The Hacienda Encantada really does need to work on their restaurants! We either ate in our room or left the property. This will always be a slice of heaven for us. Thank you!
"Another day in paradise...."
I bought at Hacienda Encantada two years before it opened. I was sold on the great jacuzzi bathtubs overlooking the ocean. I have spent the ensuing years living the dream. I love the infinity pools, the staff and the view. Many have tried to get me in a different timeshare but I will never leave. Thank you for the wonderful pools, the great food and the marvelous view. I am finishing up my two weeks here and already planning for next year. We will celebrate our 40th anniversary here next year. I can't think of a more romantic place to renew my vows. The activity director is wonderful. I enjoy the cooking classes and the two iguanas I spend my afternoons with watching the waves crash against the rocks. Thank you for making all the promises come true!

Loved this resort! We come every year! The staff is very attentive, they want your vacation to be the best. The bellboys drive you around on the golf carts. We rent a car and they park it and all we do is call them to bring the car up. They have shuttles that take you to downtown Cabo. Gorgeous view, great people love coming back every year.
"Another Spectacular 3 Weeks at this resort!"
From check in to check out, this place is so welcoming and warm. The bellmen are always so happy to see you and they remember who you are year after year. The pools are really beautiful and well kept. But one thing you can never forget here is the spectacular view from this resort. Watching the whales jump and play, just amazing. We love coming back year after year as it just keeps getting better and better. The management is so personal and want to talk to you and hear how your experience is at the resort, which of course is amazing. We met so many wonderful people while there as well. Thank you Hacienda Encantada staff! We will definitely see you next year!

"Another wonderful vacation at Hacienda Encantada"
We spent two weeks at the Hacienda Encantada in February. We absolutely love this resort. The views are incredible, the amenities great, and the staff and workers are so pleasant. My husband loves to do the water aerobics class each morning led by the activities director, Fernan. He does a great job and gets to know everyone by name. The studio unit is huge and is large enough for two people comfortably. The kitchen facilities allow us to cook our meals occasionally instead of going out every night, which gets expensive. We had a few meals at Las Marias and found the food to be much improved over last year when we were there. We enjoy listening to the harpist as we enjoy the ambiance! There is so much to do in this area- you have a lot of choices besides just enjoying the beautiful resort.
"A lovely property and location"
The Hacienda Encantada is a lovely, sprawling resort on the coast leading to the city of Cabo San Lucas. The handsome and colorful buildings, decor and landscaping offer a lovely vantage point for breathtaking views of the beach, ocean and nearly mountains. The food was great, and the service always friendly and responsive. I went for a destination wedding and everyone was most pleased with this wonderful place.

This place is amazing. As soon as we arrived the friendly staff took care of us. Most of them learned our names, and knew what we liked and had it ready for us. The pool area is neat and clean, the rooms are cool and clean as well. No complaints. All was perfect!
"Loving the view at Hacienda Encantada"
My husband and I have traveled many places, including Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for many years. We chose to stay at Hacienda Encantada due to the incredible whale-watching offshore and the lovely traditional Mexican decor of the grounds and rooms. The large comfortable furnishings are colorful and the space is utilized well.
We especially enjoy the kind staff, including Fernan, the Activities Director who always makes a effort to get to know everyone on a first name basis. Fernan is a competent teacher in many areas, speaks fluent English, and wonderful sense of humor.
"Relaxing Time..."
This was a great place to stay, they had anything we needed. When we were too tired to go out we ordered room service....which was hot and fresh and ate on the balcony. Great view and we could watch the whales in the morning. This isn't a walk on the beach resort, but go to Madono Beach for that it's beautiful and soft sand. We loved our time there and will go back, service is outstanding.

I just don't understand the bad reviews for this place? We spent 7 nights here and could not have asked for anything better. Service was great!!!! Told waiters one time our name and they never forgot. Very clean and the workers are always busy....could teach the people in the US a thing or two. The food was great....thought my husband was going to make himself sick on sushi. They have a new chef at the fine dinning restaurant and the food was so good. One night we had a 5 course meal that was a special and I can honestly say I have never had any food anywhere any better. We were so sad to leave made great friends and will for sure go back again.

When booking my treatments my man mentioned it was my birthday - I had a wonderful treatment and when I went to leave the girls presented me with a beautiful piece of birthday cake and told me happy birthday!!! What a lovely surprise!!! At first I thought my man had arranged it - hes that kind of guy - but he didn't - they did it all on their own. This is our fourth year here and we feel as though it is our second home and this act of kindness proves we are right. We are already owners of this beautiful place or we would buy again. Nothing is perfect but these folks sure try!!Thanks for making my birthday so special.
"Wonderful vacation"
We took our adult children to the Hacienda Encantada December 26, 2013 to January 3, 2014.
We booked 3 rooms which they put us next to each other when we asked. The place is beautiful and the service was great. We loved the wait staff by the pool they were friendly and took very good care of us. We did the all inclusive but we always tip a little extra (tips are included). We also loved the free shuttle into town (taxi ride is $20 each way). Winter is a great time to whale watch and you can see them from the resort. Had a great time and would love to come back!
"No regrets at all"
We have been members for 4 years, and although it is hard to believe, HE has stepped there game up another notch. Service is even better than before. They really treat you like Royalty. Make sure you go to "El Patio" snack and pool bar. Marta, anticipates your needs before you do and is absolutely delightful. We reluctantly joined 4 years ago to "force" my wife and I to take a yearly Vacation. We have no regrets and look forward each year to our visit

There are couple possibilities in this resort but definitely take the all inclusive,
You can drink in the pool high end drinks not only the cheap labels,
The food is great there are couple of good restaurants in the hotel.
the only down side is the location - it's not in the center and you need to use the shuttle or rent a car.
"Paradise for all"
We loved our time at this resort. Exceptionally friendly, caring service - including Alberto, Samuel, Antonio and Pablo at the bars/poolside restaurants; Christina (hostess) and Gaylord (waiter) at the hilltop restaurant; Marisol and Patricia in the lobby; the two Maria's in the Spa; and the kind drivers and room cleaners, whose names we did not always catch. I loved being able to work out each morning, but of course the true glory lay in the scenery, the pools, the courtesy of everyone, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, and the cheerful, efficient transport service to and from the resort. Security was excellent and honestly, it was one of the most luxurious times my husband and I have been able to enjoy in many years. The proximity of both adult and family friendly activities was great, and even our cab driver, Sergio, took the extra time to share information about San Jose and the surfer tournament. Thank you for a lovely vacation.

Wow! That's my response to this beautiful resort! Hacienda Encantada was wonderful and beautiful! I loved the location because it was away from all the hustle and bustle and was so relaxing and peaceful. The resort offered shuttle to go to town so it was convenient. The service was excellent! I was treated like a queen, I couldn't walk from buffet to table without being helped with my plate. It was amazing! The food was excellent at all restaurants. Plus, they had sushi! The scenery was absolutely beautiful! Everyone at the resort spoke english so it was easy to communicate with staff.
