Can't say enough about this place. Great staff, great accommodations, great food, fantastic stay. The beach is great. The water is a little dirty (lots of seaweed), so if you're looking to spend all your time in the ocean, you may not be thrilled. Other than that, it's phenomenal.

"nice place for retired people"
the principal quality of the hideaway royal ton is the efficiency and the kindness of people working there. the hotel is clean, the restaurants offer good foods, the wine list is little expensive. at the beach it misses some parasol in general a very nice place to go
"Royalton Riviera- Hideaway"
Good food, great staff, beautiful beach, clean pools. Not really any complaints overall other than a miscommunication about check out time (we were told 3 and then kicked out of our room at noon). There was a few staff members that stood out above all and were amazing, huge thanks to jesus torres and silvano (both were our waiters at the buffet for most of the week) and the night maid (i think her name was calandria or something similar to that) for making our trip perfect!

It's just great! Room is perfect-we got an upgrade to the suite with jaquzzi! Can only recommend the hotel!! Sebastian from guest service is a great guy! All the stuff is very friendly and funny though! Wetter is perfect in December!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Food was great and a variety of options was amazing, especially on Christmas Eve. Staff was great and helpful. In particular, Elizabeth and Carlos at the beach at Hideaway.
"Royalton- the Resort for anyone"
The resort seems to be in 3 sections, the family side, the diamond club and the adults only hideaway. The resort is huge and accompanying to anyone regardless of age with the many activities they offer. They also offer many different restaurants to choose from and 24 hour room service and let me tell you, I think it's impossible for this hotel to make bad food. Everything I tasted was phenomenal, even down to the room service and buffet (which is typically much to be desired). The resort and rooms were all very clean and the workers were very welcoming. You couldn't walk by a single one without being greeted! The beach was beautiful however the water wasn't as clear as I was looking for as there was some seaweed but the hotel does their best to clean it out and I know that they have no control over those types of things. The only thing to avoid in this hotel is the jewlery store, as I paid $1000 (USD) for jewlery that I brought back home and found to be sold elsewhere for as cheap as $100 (USD) so I got ripped off. Everything else is perfect about this hotel and I would highly recommend it!
"Third Mexico Holiday"
This was our third trip to Mexico, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The check-in process in the Hideaway reception was slow, but we were offered a drink whilst we waited. As the hotel is much bigger in size, it lost some of the personal touches such as being shown to your room personally. The bedroom was large and nicely decorated. Enjoyed the large shower, bath and huge bed. The room service menu was on the small side, but if you were a blue diamond guest you received more options. Food and drink was plentiful! Lots of restaurants and we found the buffet amazing! By far the best we had ever been to, the choice was extensive, we found after a week we hadn't even tried everything. The snack bar by the main bar at lunch time was great if you didn't want to go to one of the restaurants. Our favourite evening restaurant was the Dorado in the Hideaway section, the fish was lovely, and looking out to the ocean was beautiful. There was lots of alcohol and cocktails to choose from, we tried quite a few! The beach is lovely, fish swimming around you, absolutely beautiful. We will definitely return to Mexico, but not to this hotel as there are lots more to try!

Excellent service, food and facilities. Most of the staff was friendly. Show were varied and there's plenty of space and activities for people to be in, without being crowded. Amazing beach. We would most centainly go back again.
"Hideaway Wedding- presidential rooftop pool"
We travelled Dec 10 to 24th and stayed at the hideaway room 2417. We hosted our wedding at the hideaway Sky Terrance and had group of 18. This was our second stay at the royalton hideaway section and we enjoyed every minute of it! Our wedding went perfectly and all the staff at the sky Terrance did an amazing job! We loved the hideaway beach bar, the staff there work so hard and did an amazing job! Our favourite Jorge best bartender kept the drink coming! Fernando, Esteban and Casirmiro! Hope to see you all again next year!
"Second Time around"
This is my second time at the Hideaway this year. I celebrated my DOB in August 2016 & then my Anniv., through a travel agent. Only thing I didn't like this time was the pressure of presentaction repr.'s.

Would definately go back. Great location close to airport. very new. great food and service. Love the hideway section and amenities for dining. Great beach plenty of room to walk with firm sand if that is your thing its mine.
"Spa is better than advertised."
Recommend better advertisement of pre-spa experience. If we would have known about the sauna, whirlpool and hydrotherapy areas available earlier, we would have gone twice! Service in all areas of resort is top notch!
"Hideaway at Royalton"
Good value overall and resort is beautiful. Vacation Club pitch a bit annoying and persistent daily. Food at most restaurants and the buffet was average especially considering 1-2 hour waits for dinner, just to be seated Most of the staff was very polite, helpful, and friendly which is important in my experiences. Day and evening entertainment was awesome, engaging, enthusiastic and interesting, especially Joseph! Pretty good trip/resort overall but not my best to date.
"Hideaway at the Royalton"
Unbelievable compound (as it was huge), well isolated and secluded. Rooms were top notch. Extremely friendly staff. Food was good (4/5 stars) for an all inclusive resort. The zen restaurant was really good. Plenty of different pools, we stayed at the adults only section, but had access to all the other areas. Service at the bars was good, drinks were well made. The only criticism I have is that waiters on the beach or pool-side would take up to half an hour to get drinks to you (which I understand is a difficult job). Would definitely recommend to others.
"Excellent Choice for a get-a-way"
Very much enjoyed our holiday at the Royalton. We were very impressed with the staff and facilities. The food was excellent. The part that set this place apart from other holiday locations we have stayed with is the atmosphere. Staff goes out of there way to create a enjoyable time for the visitors. The Entertainment group at the Hideaway were great, and no matter where we ate, food was amazing. Looking forward to returning in the future...

Accomodations, food, and spa were top notch. All of the workers provided exceptional service especially Erika and Mariana at the spa and Jorge and Martin at the pool. They went out of their way to make for a memorable vacation
"Top Notch Royalton Riviera Resort Cancun"
This Resort exceeded all of our expectations. The open air lobby view to the ocean was the most relaxing I've felt inside any lobby. Comfortable sitting areas everywhere. I recommend this Resort on any day of the year. Staff was very friendly. Pools are constantly being cleaned. Crystal clear pools and great swim up bars. Thank you Royalton for the experience!!!!

We had a wonderful time at the Royalton Hideaway in Cancun. There is nothing bad that we could say about it. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were awesome. Food was great. Pools were spectacular. We loved our stay and look forward to going back.
