Absolutely beautiful, spacious rooms. Very clean. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Hotel is in a very nice area and is central to many different restaurants and shopping centers. They also provide a nice, hot breakfast as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area; I'll definitely go back the next time

"Clean, modern property"
Had the opportunity to stay overnight at this Hoiday Inn. Wish I had business in the area to extend the stay. Very clean property, in and outside. Lobby was nice. Front desk person was super cheerful and welcoming. Always nice after a long day driving. Room was clean, modern furnishings and quiet. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Room rate was reasonable, in fact, very reasonable. Great value.
"We liked this motel."
We were a family group of 7 Aussies doing a mini road trip of New Hamshire & Maine, and Biddeford was a convenient place for us to stop on our way from the mountains to the coast. The Holiday Inn was great, very clean rooms, and spacious for a family of 4. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool, and my son & husband utilised the lovely green grass out the front to play some gridiron! It was a very quick drive to a few restaurants, we went to Applebee's, and the included breakfast was good. I can't imagine us ever venturing back here again, it's a loooong way from home, but we would stay here again if we ever did!

We stayed one night as we travelled to northern Maine. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. The hotel and our room were very clean. The bedding was awesome - which we had this at home. Breakfast was great - eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and pastries with all the drinks - coffee, teas, milk and juice.

Great choice.. Chose for a one night stay (for a wake & funeral) rooms were spacious and very clean and love having a fridge, microwave & coffee... Breakfast included and great choices... Quiet and good location easy on/off Int. 95...

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area; I'll definitely go back the next time I am in or around that town. *** People should beware of the fact that Expedia erroneously lists this hotel as a pet-friendly hotel and they in fact do not allow pets here. I am very grateful for their hotel management that allowed us to still stay there with our dogs upon learning of the misinformation on Expedia's site.
"Business"
Nice place, clean, and staff are nice. Easy on/off highway. The Common Man restaurant is less than a mile away. Being a Spire member, they upgraded me to a very nice suite. I would stay here again!!!!
"1st stay"
We had a family wedding in Kennebunkport and this hotel was chosen as an alternative place to stay. I think it was an excellent choice. The hotel was a little difficult to find but once you drive the area it's easy to get back to. It's In a quiet location. It's clean and modern. They rooms are jr suites with microwave and refrigerator. The beds are comfortable. Large TV. Plenty of space. I would return and I would recommend this hotel.
"Nice hotel!"
It's pretty new, clean, and modern. About the only thing I could complain about is the Internet connectivity was a bit sluggish, but we also learned that the hotel was very full at the time. I would definitely stay there again.
"First Time at HI Express - Very Enjoyable Stay: Modern, Spacious, Clean!"
Just realized that we actually HAD stayed here before under its former incarnation, Comfort Inn (reviewed June 3, 2010 Enjoyable stay! Pleasant experience!) Stayed at HI Express Biddeford, ME during Labor Day wknd, 2015. Amazed at generous size of the king suite! Ample size for a lge studio apt (sans kitchen). Entire accommodation clean; tastefully decorated/well appointed, with generous lighting. Room layout, open floor space, storage and counter areas very spacious vs. some (higher-end) properties we've stayed at which require 'shimmying' around the bed to get to the other side because the furniture items are so cramped. High quality towels...'thick n' thirsty'! Thermostat climate control/quiet a/c. Mattress could use upgrade. Did not use breakfast, pool, or fitness facilities since we stayed only one night. Would highly recommend.
"I Would Stay Here Again"
This was my first stay at this hotel and I was very impressed. Good location - near plenty of restaurants and retail but in a quiet spot. Hotel was clean and updated. Room was very nice and comfortable. Refrigerator in the room. Internet worked well and was fast - pretty unusual in hotels these days. We had a room by the elevator but it was quiet.. Room was a nice size. Breakfast was great. First class bacon, eggs, Greek yogurt, on the go oatmeal. All great tasting and everything was available. Friendly service and easy parking. Great all around property.
"Overnight stay"
This Holiday Inn seems to be fairly new. It was easy to find coming from Kennebunkport. The staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean. We had asked for two rooms close together and they were. Breakfast was good.
"Overnight Business stay"
Check in was quick and pleasant. My room was very clean, bed was well made up, bathroom was large with plenty of counter space. Room also had a couch and coffee table, in addition to the work desk. Spending a lot of time in hotels, I find it quite pleasant to have a couch to stretch out on to relax. Breakfast was quite plentiful and well laid out. Plenty of room for people to move around and not be in each others way. Very well run, friendly, helpful hotel.
"Perfect for a night passing through"
Great for what we needed! Room was spotless and clean upon arrival and we checked-in really early. The only thing keeping it from 5-stars was there was no shower curtain in the bathroom! However, they brought one up right away once we let them know. Perfect for a night if you're just passing through.
"Well located"
This hotel is very well located near the 95 highway in Biddeford/Saco and is not far from the sea (around 10-15 minutes). The room I had was very clean and spacious. The service was good as well as breakfast !
"Friendly Staff, Nice Hotel"
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The wireless speed was better than most. The shower water pressure was great. The breakfast fare was typical but good. The location is very convenient. I'm glad we stayed here and would consider staying here in the future.
"Quick change of plans...good location."
Scheduled stay at last minute. Switched from one Maine hotel to this one further south. The hotel is easily accessible from both Route 1 and 95. Check in was smooth and pleasant. Problem, everything I asked, the front desk did not know the answer. Requested a map of the area, no map. Asked where the flea market was, no idea. Beaches to go to? Didn't know. Lobby is clean and inviting, Room for the most part the same ....housekeeping could stand to be a little more thorough in the cleaning of the flat surfaces (desk & night table both had sticky substance) Toilet seat broken and too small for the toilet. Bed was comfortable and I liked the architectural detail of the columns in the room. Something a little different from your average Holiday Inn Express Breakfast area clean and staff there friendly. Even though it was not 100% I would stay there again. The best part for me was the location.
"A Dependable Choice for Families of Four"
We booked this hotel at the last minute, having checked out from a completely unacceptable hotel nearby. Like most Holiday Inn Express properties, the Biddeford one had two queen beds and everything throughout the room and the hotel was fresh, new, and welcoming. The room rate was high, but that is a function of supply and demand; most available hotels were about 50% more. Free Wi-Fi was excellent. We enjoyed a very good breakfast both mornings. Having that included in the room rate made this a better value, especially for our family of four. (Many hotels would have charged about $15 per person for a similar breakfast, which included fresh fruit, pancakes, delicious cinnamon rolls, yogurt, eggs, bacon, dry cereal, and more.) The Biddeford Holiday Inn staff in the breakfast area were very hard-working and helpful.
"Nice stay at the Holiday Inn-Biddeford"
Stayed here on our way home from Portland Maine. Hotel was clean and the front staff was very helpful Room was large and the best part of the stay was the FREE breakfast! They had everything there you would expect including fresh fruit and Chobani yoghurt. Breakfast was awesome!
"Nice place"
Stayed here one night on an east coast bicycle riding road trip. I tried to use a coupon, but there were no rooms available for the coupon. However, the front desk lady did work with me, and I'm glad I stayed here. Clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms, plus breakfast had good choices to get us on our way. I would stay here again, even without a coupon.
"Superior Holiday Inn Express Hotel"
We stayed here one night on our way back home to New Brunswick. What a nice property! The room was spacious, quiet and clean. Very comfortable indeed. The lady at the front desk was quite nice and welcoming. Breakfast was adequate and free. I would've liked a business center with at least one computer and printer. The air conditionner was a bit loud, but at least it cooled the room nicely. I would recommend to others and will certainly return. Thanks!
"Comfortable hotel convenient to highway"
We booked this hotel because other options were either full or too expensive. It is not adjacent to many things but they are a short drive away. The hotel is convenient to the highway which is great when you arrive at night. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the only issues were the lack of a laundry bag in the room and really cheap, non holiday inn soap.

Everyone was so gracious and accommodating. We had some booking snafus that were ultimately resolved by the wonderful staff here. Our room was immaculate and breakfast was tasty. Our beds were soft and the sheets clean. Highly recommended!
"Great stay!"
Very clean and spacious room! Bed is comfortable, especially the linens, very soft and clean feeling. Breakfast is included and they have pancake machine and Greek yogurt, hams and cupped oatmeal. Breakfast area is spacious and able to fit 20-30 people. The only downside is the noise level of air conditioner in room, luckily I have my ear plug and other people in my group don't care about it so it's not a big deal for us.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Great location for where we wanted to be. Dunkin Donuts at end of street. Close to beaches and shopping. Lots of seafood restaurants in the area. Will stay here again.
"Overnight visit."
We spent one night at The Holiday Inn Express on Barra Rd in Biddeford Maine. It was a last minute trip on a busy summer weekend. The staff was very friendly . This may have been the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in! Bed was comfortable. Had a great living room area, frig and microwave. Free breakfast in the morning . Perfect if you have to be there for business .
