We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The room we requested online was given to us at check in, two comfy beds and a nice sleeper sofa. The room was huge and very clean. Nice complimentary wi fi and breakfast. My kids loved the chocolate milk, huge cinnamon buns and fruit loops. We saw the nice pool but didn't have time to swim. The hotel is very close to I-95 and located nearby a McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts. Took us exactly 2 hours to get to Port Canaveral from the hotel. Perfect!

"Nice clean hotel"
Good stay....close to highways, mall and not far from beach. So much to do in the area and a great town to visit. We would have preferred to stay on the beach at the time but the other hotel was booked

"Second time this year"
For the second time in 2017 an over night stay then a training class the next day. Fantastic service from the staff here. Able to set up the night before and everything was ready to go the next morning. We had a great meeting and were well cared for.
"Party of Five that should have booked directly with hotel"
Our room was for 2 adults and 3 children. We stayed for 3 nights and were given a suite right by the elevators on the 2nd floor. The suite was clean and in good condition. Surprisingly, there was no audible noise overnight coming from those using the elevators. However, even though we booked for 5 individuals, we had to ask for an extra set of towels each day. Besides that, we had a very good experience. The breakfast and morning coffee was great. I would recommend reserving room directly with Holiday Inn. The hotel is 10 minutes away from all the historical sites in Saint Augustine. I had the misfortune of booking through Tripadvisor's Getaroom feature and was billed $90 more than the total charges per Holiday Inn's final bill.

My kids and stayed here for spring break/ Easter weekend. Hotel was very clean. My room was very comfortable and the front desk staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok. I would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed touring the city.
"Next to Outlets"
Initially booked Holiday Inn downtown, but changed to State Road Holiday Inn Express based on reviews from others. Had stayed here 2 years ago, and like the location. Not close to downtown, but close to shopping outlets and it is just a short drive to downtown (worth the trip). Quiet hotel, even though it was completely booked. Ample parking and nice complimentary breakfast.
"Great hotel"
I will start by saying this hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The The room was very confortable and cleaned. Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choices and had an efficient worker that kept everything replenished. The indoor pool was very relaxing but the floor might need to be cleaned. I will definitely be back.
"Spent 3 nights here while visiting St Augustine"
The hotel is well positioned just off of I-95. and not very far from downtown St Augustine. The staff were all very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served up until 10.00am which is very useful when spending a relaxing weekend.
"We love the Holiday Inn North!!"
We stayed from Friday, 3/24-3/26/2017 for our family St. Augustine trip. Very clean, spacious and cloud like beds, 3 important things for our family. Bathroom was clean and very nice. We traveled with our 4 kids and the stay was great. Staff was friendly, we had an a.c issue but the staff was quick to fix. Complimentary bfast was great, your staple breakfast items were offered, scrambled eggs, veggie omelets, sausage and turkey sausage, fruit, oatmeals, cereals, yogurt, biscuits, pancakes coffee and juice, definitely a little of everything for everyone. The breakfast staff was very friendly and replenished items very quickly and kept it fresh. There is Dunkin Donuts right behind it and the outlet malls are nearby. The historic district is only 5 minutes away, overall the grounds were clean, well kept, secured and quiet. The heated indoor pool was a refreshing time out for the kids and and great for those tired muscles. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the staff, we always recommend the Holiday Inns since we never had any issues with anyone of them even when i was traveling for work i will always choose them. We will definitely come back to this one. Reserve with time since it books very quickly.
"Staff Can Really Put Lodging Over the Top"
On the road back from Sarasota we stopped here. Great location off 95 near the outlets. Facility was very clean and felt either newly constructed or renovated. Very nice room. Quiet. Front desk staffer, Amanda, was great. When asked for a dining recommendation she suggested "Giovanni's" reviewed elsewhere on TA and it was a definite hit. Complimentary breakfast was good and the seating area was kept clean and apart from the main lobby. Highly recommend this establishment, especially if you are "outlet bound".
"Wonderful Stay in St Augustine"
I was very pleased with this hotel. The location is great - right off of I-95 and easy to find. It is about a 15 minute drive to the historic area so you will need a car if going into the town. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. The fridge, microwave, and Bath and Body toiletries were appreciated. The breakfast was fine with bacon every day. Two complimentary bottles of water as a rewards member was very nice. As a solo traveler I felt safe here. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if my travels bring me back to St Augustine.
"Vacation to see Grandkids"
Hotel was great. Very clean and we'll maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. We visited during spring break but unfortunately brought the Colorado weather with us. It was cool to cold. The indoor pool was a life saver. Was a wonderful outlet for the grandkids energy.
"Clean, Affordable, and Relaxing"
If you are looking for a clean, affordable, and relaxing place to stay as you tour Saint Augustine, this hotel is right for you. Their hot breakfast selections (scrambled eggs, ham, turkey or pork sausages) were different each day while the other selections (cereal, yogurts, fresh fruits, bread, etc....) remained the same. There is an indoor pool and workout room with new equipment. The hotel is probably about 10 to 15 minutes away from the St. Augustine. There are 2 big malls and different places to eat nearby.
"Upgraded to Beautiful Suite"
We often stay at Holiday Inn Express and for this stay we were upgraded from a 2 bed room to a suite. This hotel has a great desk staff - especially Darlene who checked us in! Our room was huge and had the quietest air conditioner we've ever had in a hotel - it was wonderful! We stayed two nights while we did some sightseeing. We definitely would recommend this hotel!
"Amazing Stay At Holiday Inn Express"
The moment we walk through the doors of this Inn we knew we were in the right place. Amanda at the front desk greeted us with a friendly smile,and welcome she was very friendly,and professional. The room rivaled any room in any 5 star hotel in NYC. The full breakfast was the "icing on the cake". Eggs,ham,Sausages,all kinds of cereal,and breads.Pancakes to die for.Coffee was excellent. Juices were incldes as well as fruits,yogurt and cereals.Gamarr made sure everything was provided,and the dining room was kept spotless. He was very courteous,and displayed great leadership potential.Our stay here was relaxing, and satisfying. We recommend this place HIGHLY
