We stayed at this location in March 2015 and decided to stay again this July trip for a few nights. We were not disappointed. Rooms are nice and clean. Free breakfast was fresh and good. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The Desert Ridge shopping/dining complex is right across the street.

"Great Park and Fly Option"
We were a group of 5 needing a park and fly option. Everything from checkin to check out was great. The front desk staff was super friendly and our request for a room upgrade was met with a happy YES! Our room was large and clean. Asked for extra towels and had them immediately! Drinks and dinner in the bar area was great. The poor bartender had to deal with 5 women on a girls trip and he probably had as much fun as we did. The food was served fast, hot, and yummy. Pool was HOT but it was mid Aug and the temps in PHX had been over 100. Transport to and from the airport was speedy and friendly. Definitely would stay again when in PHX.
"Overnight stay"
We arrived into Phoenix late in the evening and stayed for one night before heading to the Grand Canyon. The hotel shuttle picked us up promptly. The hotel was immaculate and very comfortable. The shuttle brought my husband back to the airport the next day to get the rental car. It was all very easy. Great way to start a vacation.

Nice hotel.friendly staff. Great clean room. Complementary and working wifi. Nice breakfast buffet. Free parking. 10 min from the airport. Swimming pool . We tad 2 queen beds and this was suitable for 2 adults an 2 teen kids.

I received more than I expected. The room was clean, large, and nicely furnished. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again without hesitation. The buildings look new and are well decorated. The property feels comfortable awesome!
"Very Nice Hotel - New and Clean"
This hotel surprised me at how nice it is and how professional the staff is. From the front desk to the restaurant, they are very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was very modern with a separate sitting area, two tvs, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The shower pressure was the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The food in the restaurant was really good too.

We were travelling to california and made a one day stop in phoenix, we usually stay near arizona mills but decided to stay at this hotel because of the reviews on trip advisor. arrived around 6 Pm so we decided to take a little swim, the pool was really clean. we were really amazed with the breakfast that was included in the rate.. I would definetly recommend this hotel.
"Tremendous Value"
I recently had an unexpected overnight near the Phoenix Airport, and used Hotwire to make a reservation. The hotel turned out to be Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites, Phoenix Airport. What a find! I typically have not been a fan of Holiday Inn, but if this is the direction they are going in, sign me up. I was treated like gold by the guy that checked me in - despite having booked on a 3rd party site. The room was great - comfortable, well-appointed, quiet. The only slight issue was lower than normal water pressure for the shower, but that was not a big deal at all. Breakfast was a bargain at $9.99 - buffet includes made to order eggs, plenty of accompaniments, juice and coffee. It's cheaper than going to a regular breakfast spot - a rarity for hotels. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. Overall, I can't say enough positive things about my experience. Kudos.

We arrived late at night to the convenient airport location and check-in was a breeze. We reserved a suite at a great price. It was clean, updated, and comfortable. The view is pretty dismal in an industrial area, but who care. Free wifi. The free breakfast was limited so we opted to add the hot breakfast on for about $10 which was very reasonable.
"Nice start for first time visit to Phoenix"
Hotel close to airport and check in very quick and friendly. Nice on-site bar and restaurant. Very friendly staff and useful free shuttle service to/from airport and to local light rail if you wanted to venture further afield. Room was well equipped, spacious and only lacked a safe deposit facility. Breakfast buffet good value and quality with plenty of choice. Nice pool area also.
"Great Hotel and Service"
This hotel offers shuttle service to and from the airport. When arriving you need to call the hotel and they will send someone to your location. We had a late flight in so we saved money on the rental car by not picking up until the next morning and using the shuttle service instead. The shuttle drivers were incredibly friendly and helpful when asked questions about the area. Full disclosure, I am an IHG rewards member. When I called the hotel to let them know of my late arrival they were friendly and upgraded my 2 queen executive to a 2 queen suite. The room came with a spacious bathroom, separate bedroom and living room with TV's in both the living room and bedroom. Free coffee and coffee maker included. No free breakfast but there is a restaurant downstairs. The food looked great but we chose not to eat there. There are also convenience items for sale in the lobby. Overall it is a fantastic facility and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and Phoenix is beautiful!! Would certainly go back!!
"Excellent Hotel, Excellent Staff"
My husband and I stayed there May 13, 2015. We had over and above service...all staff was well trained and made you feel like family. The desk clerk, Erika, helped us out with an issue we had, in fact she spent 45 minutes, and didn't give up until the problem was solved. Big time kudo's to her. We had the delicious breakfast buffet, and was most impressed with our server, Mike. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, I give him 10+. They have a very nice bar with good happy hour prices. Shuttle service to airport stellar. Thank you Erika and Mike for making our stay so nice!
"Great Place. Great Stay."
Friendly and attentive staff, clean, excellent maid service. Well priced room service and drink prices at downstairs bar. There is a microwave and fridge in the room that was well maintained and worked great. Plenty of restraunts in the area as well as grocery stores. I will stay at this location again! Well done Holiday Inn PHX!
"Great Hotel Near Airport"
The hotel was pleasant and inexpensive. We received great service and enjoyed our complementary breakfast. The airport shuttle was quick and reliable. The bedroom and bathroom was clean and spacious. I would recommend staying at this hotel!
"Nice Surprise Near Airport"
We chose this hotel as our final stop for our Arizona vacation because it was close to the airport and reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised -- what a nice property. It was very clean, the lobby was open and inviting (complete with business center for printing boarding passes), and the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. It's always nice to find a hotel that "gets" business travel but can also make a family feel welcome. The "king bed executive suite" was a true suite and almost ridiculously spacious. The bedroom featured a very comfortable bed with lights on the nightstands equipped with convenient power outlets so it's easy to plug in your tablets, phones, etc. However, be wary of the "motion detection" of the lights in the bedroom. When it shut off the lights automatically, it cut power to the outlets on the lights, so our electronics did not charge overnight. There is also an on-site restaurant, but we wanted to get out a bit and were directed toward Oregano's, a regional Italian chain that was only five minutes away (and well worth the drive). Perhaps the only knock on the hotel is that there was no free breakfast, but we knew that before we booked the room. Best of all, the morning drive to the airport (or at the least the car rental return complex) only took a few minutes. Going to Phoenix and need to be near the airport? You need to price out this gem.
"Nice easy stay close to PHX Airport"
I have a mixed track record with my experiences with at Holiday Inns. With this one I experienced great customer service, clean though slighty worn rooms, decent room service, and a comfortable bed. The Executive rooms are so big you'll wonder why they don't have more furniture to fill up the space. A really good choice if you're looking for a hotel near the airport.
"Nice choice for a hotel stay"
We stayed at this hotel for one night during a quick weekend get away to Phoenix. The hotel itself is very close to the airport. The check in process was fast and the staff were wonderful. Our room was on the 5th floor and had two queen beds. The room also had a small refrigerator and microwave. We were not inconvenienced by any noise from the airport or any other guest. We decided to add on the cost for the breakfast buffet and we were really glad we did. The food was good! Well worth the add on!
"Short but sweet"
Stayed one night prior to flying out of PHX. My room was quite spacious, suite-like, quiet, and the bed very comfortable. Wish I had more time to sleep there but had to get up early for a 6 am flight. Enjoyed a salad and wine for dinner at their bar/cafe. The salad was very good, fresh and nicely plated. There is also a nice pool on the property. I am not sure if Google maps provided the best route to the airport but I would not say the route we followed was convenient. Probably there was a better way. So double check your route at the front desk.
"Beautiful hotel and pool area'"
Wish we'd have been able to stay longer! The pool and lounging area of this property is gorgeous! Rooms were clean and spacious! The 2tvs in the 2 different rooms made it a great place for families. We ordered room service and the bbq chicken pizza was delicious and affordable. Food arrived within 20 min as promised!
"Spacious suites!!!"
Booked a 2 bdrm suite and it was amazing! Everyone had their own space and the beds were very comfy. The bathrooms were do big. Yes there were 2 huge ones! One with a jacuzzi tub but both walk in showers. Too bad we were only here for a night before flying home!!
"New and fresh- Great Property"
This is the first newer Holiday Inn we have stayed at in years, and they have done a great job. The lobby was unpretentious, user friendly and had EVERYTHING I needed- a small shopping area, business center and sitting area. Our room was great, The mattress very comfortable and everything spotless. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend this property. It was amazingly quiet for being located next to both freeways and the airport, excellent soundproofing of rooms.

Very nice hotel, excellent location close to PHX airport, very quite and comfortable. Front desk always helpful. I did not have time to try breakfast just glanced over it and it looked ok with enough choices.
"Clean, convenient and staff are courteous"
We stayed here the night before flying back from vacation. It's close to the airport and they have a shuttle that will take you back and forth. Our room was large and well-maintained. The bathroom was located between the living area and the bedroom, which I liked as it provided a buffer. Someone could watch TV in either area, or one could watch without disturbing the other.
"Clean and comfortable stay"
This was our second stay at this hotel. We stayed here on both ends of a trip to Tucson. It is a very clean, quiet, and updated hotel. Suite rooms are spacious for a family of four. Beds and pillows are perfect. Hotel rooms and grounds very clean and well maintained, a very nice property. The front desk staff was friendly, approachable and helpful. Restaurant food is good. Very close to the airport-easy driving to it. Hotel is easy to get to and from the Airport, and has really good street access. Free wifi, it worked, was fast and all four of us could use our devices-wow this was great!! We will be staying her again for sure and highly recommend this hotel to others.
""A Very Comfortable Stay""
My wife and I stayed here on both ends of a trip to Phoenix and Tucson including the Fiesta Bowl using our IHG Rewards Nights. This is a very attractive well-managed clean hotel with a complimentary 24hr. shuttle to-and-from the airport. I see in other reviews many get this property confused with the Holiday Inn Express properties. We were one of them and got a little embarrassed when we set down the morning after our first night's stay expecting a complimentary breakfast. The buffet breakfast offered was $9.95 which we passed on since we're not big eaters. We did have a wonderful evening meal at the restaurant on our return stay, however. We did find the front desk staff very friendly and helpful, i.e. having trouble with the business center computers when trying to print a boarding pass, the front desk staff allowed us to use their computer. We'd definitely consider staying here again if/when we're in the area.
"Great Shuttle and easy trip"
Called for a shuttle, they were there within 15 minutes and we were in the spacious hotel room with our shoes off within 25! In the morning the shuttle was warmed up and waiting for us getting us to the airport within plenty of time to catch flight. Just exactly what we needed and very nice room!

Very nice property. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Free shuttles to/from Mill Street in Tempe. Breakfast buffet was really good. Well managed operation. Bar and restaurant on site. Great service. good food, customer service oriented.

Very pleasant hotel, rooms very nice, staff warm and welcoming, from the front desk to the airport shuttle drivers. It is not near anything at this location, but does offer on-site restaurant, and a shuttle to the local area if you want to get out.
"Great Stay"
I recently stayed at this hotel for 2-nights on business. The first contact with the hotel was a call for the shuttle. The front desk clearly and concisely directed me to the shuttle pick up point at the airport, took my name and told me the shuttle would be there in a few minutes. The shuttle was clearly marked with the logo and came on schedule as promised - very clean and well maintained. Upon check-in, the front desk knew who I was (remembered that I called for the shuttle I guess) and promptly checked me in - no issues or delays. The room I got was clean, updated, well-maintained with lots of space to spread out. The bed was nice and firm with a choice of soft or firm pillows. Wireless internet was complimentary and worked without issues - strong signal. I could hardly believe how everything was going so well. At breakfast the next morning, the trend continued - great selection of food, courteous and attentive staff, clean dining area. Right after breakfast I returned to my room which was already cleaned - seamless service. For dinner I had room service which did not disappoint. Finally at check out, all charges were correct on my bill which was slipped under the door. The front desk called a taxi for me upon departure and I have to say for a business traveler - this Holiday Inn was a great choice!
