One of the best kept chain hotels I have ever stayed in. Lobby breakfast area very nice. Pool and patio same. We had a suite which was very large with nice furniture. Staff was really nice and helpful when needed. Location is perfect for visiting historic Charleston. It literally is just across the river. Our trip to the city took 5 minutes by car. Being on Rt 17, we barely drove anything but expressways to get to various destinations.

"Surprisingly Upscale Holiday Inn"
One of the best kept chain hotels I have ever stayed in. Lobby breakfast area very nice. Pool and patio same. We had a suite which was very large with nice furniture. "Best place for easy access"
We stayed here to do Charleston stuff and we ended up being at the best place for everything we planned to do. It was an easy drive across the big bridge to downtown Charleston. The Patriot Point was really close for Ft. Sumter and Yorktown tours. There were highly recommended restaurants in Mount Pleasant. The hotel is pretty new. It was clean, nice pool area, and workout room. The breakfast was good with several choices. So glad we found this place.
"Go to place when in Charleston area"
Love this property. This is my 4th stay over the last 5 years here. Whenever we are in the area, this is our choice. Staff is very friendly and committed to customer satisfaction. Was granted an early check in, desk clerk , Tara, was excellent and went beyond expectations. Give it a try when you are in the area.

It's rare for me to have such a wonderful experience at a hotel that i make it a point to share my thoughts with the world. With a sincere warm smile, Tara checked me in. A had a few questions, concerns, and requests. (Needy me). Instead of the usual smug apology that im used to, she summoned the GM Tommy. (He's the man). He made me feel important. They swiftly met all of my needs for a price I couldn't believe. The room was nice and clean. My housekeeper name? Room 202 June 25 was sweet. Wes the bartender was just the man for the job. He knew the guests name's and introduced them to each other. Felt lIke Cheers. Overall it was a great experience and I'll be back.
"Great hotel"
This is a great hotel! We booked this hotel for $87 and couldn't be more happier with it. It was very clean and well maintained. The front desk clerks were very helpful and attentive. It's location is great, close to beaches and restaurants. I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.
"Russellville High School 50th Class Reunion"
Had a great time. The service was excellent. Staff was very helpful, the food was excellent.Hotel was easily found, great location close to historic Charleston. My room was very spacious. Would like to thank the staff for making my stay very enjoyable.
"Great easy going hotel"
We stayed here for a week while visiting Sea Kayak Carolina and the East Coast Paddlesport Festival. The hotel has really large rooms with a giant bed, tv and full bath / shower facilities. Coffee is provided along with a fridge and even a microwave!! Breakfast is plentiful and varied. There are leisure facilities - unfortunately we never had a chance to use these at all. It's very central with plenty of places to eat and drink close by. Loads of car parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. A great stay (This was our second visit).

I can't say enough good about my stay at Holiday Inn in Mount Pleasant SC. The staff are very professional and the customer service focus is outstanding. Rooms are clean and roomy. In the morning there is coffee and breakfast of course. After work there are special treats, different each day and fruit infused water. Absolutely wonderful after a day of fun or work. I will absolutely stay at this location again and recommend this hotel to anyone.
"Great Service"
Great stay, friendly staff, well-equipped rooms, comfortable bed. The blackout curtains worked so was able to sleep in without the glare of the morning sun. Nicely equipped fitness center. restaurant/ bar area comfortable and well decorated.
"Great location, Clean, Friendly Staff, Great Value"
We stopped here en route to our final destination to enjoy Charleston's vibe and foodie venue with another couple. This location was ideal to enjoy the city at about 1/2 the price of staying in the city proper. An easy Uber ride if you want to drink or not worry about navigating some narrow streets or the challenge of parking in town. Staff was friendly, rooms were nice and clean and location to eateries in both Charlestown and Mt Pleasant was excellent. Would stay here again
"Ballroom Usage"
If you have an event, this is the place to do it! The staff was excellent and Sara will work with you to ensure you are getting the exact event you want. Everyone was a pleasure to work with, and my event was able to happen without any catastrophes. This was a military event, and there was no hesitation to understand the importance of every detail. Great Job! Highly Recommend!
"Wonderful!"
This place was just what we needed after a horrible night at the Seaside Inn at Isle of Palms. By the way, avoid that place like the pleague. You will be extremely upset. Anyway, we told the front desk staff what a horrible night we had at the Seaside Inn as we were checking in. She was shocked and apologetic about what had happen. She upgraded our room and put us on the top floor so that we could get some rest. This place was beautiful and the staff was very healpful. When we asked about places to eat, she pulled out this huge map and took the time to circle all of the yummy restuarants. I have never been a Holiday Inn fan but they have changed me mind completely. I wish that we had checked into this place and never experienced the Seaside Inn. My boyfriend felt better about my birthday celebration, which was great.
"Convenient and Nice, but..."
The hotel is a nice place. Well kept, nice employees, and the rooms were very nice. The price was good as well. We also enjoyed the breakfast as a Rewards Club member. BUT...be careful when you exit if you want to go back into Mount Pleasant. If you go out the exit. Rarest the hotel, you will be forced to go right and have to go all the way across the bridge before you can turn around. Awful. Be sure to go out the back way and up to the north a little before you try to go out.
"Great place for a party!"
I attended a holiday party at the holiday inn and it was awesome! The food was out of this world. The staff did a great job of decorating the ballroom to transform it to a winter wonderland. The staff was also very friendly and took excellent care of us. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Show less
"Clean and staff so friendly"
We have stayed here a few times and always love staying here. Every time, the staff welcomes us with huge smiles and are so friendly. The rooms are always spic and span and the service is great. We really enjoy coming here.. the value is perfect.
"Park and Cruise package."
Arrived the day before our cruise was to depart and was warmly greeted by the front desk. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet just as we expect from Holiday Inn. The shuttle to and from the Cruise Port was punctual and professional and took away any fear we had of driving and parking ourselves. Well worth the package price.

Thanks !! Our stay was very nice. Everyone was so good to all 169 of us! And that is a lot. The hotel was very nice and accommodating. We'd love to come back! The pool area was nice even though they were not swimming in November and the ballroom was good for our meeting. It was great for our walk across the bridge. We were raising money for research in mental retardation.
"Extreme SC charm"
My husband and I checked into Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Mt Pleasant (just over the bridge from Charleston SC) and were greeted by the front desk employee, Amber A. She couldn't be more suited for this welcoming job... a most gracious manner and very friendly. The hotel itself is very nice. Clean, full breakfast, and appears to be recently updated. There are a lot of hotel choices nearby here, and this, in our opinion, is one of the best. Hope you get to meet Amber too!
"Couples Getaway"
This was our first weekend-getaway since 2009 and we were very pleased with our accommodations. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the location is ideal for visiting Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms, etc. The on-site restaurant staff was equally as friendly and helpful. My main piece of advice for this location is to be very careful when leaving the property. If you need to get onto US-17 you can ONLY turn right from the intersection closest to the hotel and that right turn takes you DIRECTLY onto the ramp of the Ravenel Bridge (US 17-S) and you have to complete the trip over and figure out how to get back from the other side. You need to go around the block to a different red-light to turn left onto US 17-N. While driving over the Ravenel Bridge is a "MUST DO" while in the Charleston area it isn't the direction you need to go if you check-in late and need a quick bite to eat. Lucky for us we have been vacationing in the Charleston area for almost 20 years and know our way around fairly well.
"Business move"
We stayed for 6 weeks during our relocation, which happened during hurricane Matthew Staff was friendly helpful and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Our housekeeper Reeshma Whitfield was excellent, she provided quality cleaning services ,while respecting my partners need to sleep during the morning and early afternoon, due to night shift. I will recommend Holiday Inn Mt Pleasant to all of our business contacts and family. Thank you for making our transition easier.
