We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

"La Pinta Beach Club Feb 2015"
We stayed at the La Pinta beach club which is separate from Hovima La Pinta but is the same building. We had a fantastic stay here and the weather was brilliant. When we arrived we found the staff in reception to be warm and friendly and the hotel itself to be neat and clean. The hotel is situated right on the beach front and as far as I could tell every room had a sea view. The apartment was clean and tidy but basic but everything we needed was there. We had a two bedroomed apartment and one bedroom was on-suite. The rooms were cleaned and towels were changed every day. We found very little noise at night and we all got a good nights sleep. The kids loved it here as the pool was warm and there was free wi-fi in the lobby. The sea front was about 20-30 yards from the front of the hotel and there are miles of shops and plenty of places to eat. Would we stay here again? most definitely.
    "Great Price/Quality"
Ok, the hotel is dated but it is clean, has very friendly personel, a great location, great views, nice pool, great breakfast. nice guests. We stayed here end of february and would/will do it again this May or next february. Internet is indeed not always perfect but all-in-alll it works fine (with easy switching between multiple devices).Service was great, we were upgraded from a 1 to a 3 !! bedroom appartment because the 1 bedroom was not available, on top of that we also got a free lunch because we had to "wait" for that uprade till 3pm. Also a room to change after the pool on the last day was made available for a full hour with towels without any charge. I would invest in better matrasses, not really bad but there is nothing nicer then a great matras :-)
    "Very impressed"
First time in Tenerife I wasn't sure what to expect but wow, my one-bed apartment was so lovely, directly overlooking the little harbour of Puerto Colon. Very spacious lounge with sofa bed and chairs, TV with UK channels 1-4, lovely compact little kitchen with everything needed, large twin-bedded room and great storage capacity and coathangers, and 4-piece suite bathroom. Had to wait a while for hot water to come through but fine once it did. Food at breakfast pretty samey and of course no English bacon but hey there was a lot to choose from. Evening entertainment every night pretty varied, from snake show (yuk!) to Michael Jackson tribute. Found the hotel staff extremely helpful too, especially when my return shuttle to the airport didn't arrive. The hotel is central in the stretch from San Eugenio centre to Torviscas with a lovely walk around the coast. I'll certainly go back.
    "Loved it."
I came here in October 2014 with my sister and Mum for a little break away. We have been to Tenerife for many years and stayed in the sister hotel Santa Maria which is a stones throw away. Compared to the Santa Maria hotel La Pinta is a palace. The pool area is clean and tidy with ample sun beds. You have easy access to the beach and the lifeguards are always paying attention to the children that are there. This was the first time we had been half board as we normally go self catering. I couldn't fault the food and the service from the staff. We had a complementary bbq one night and there was always a wide selection of foods to suit everyone's needs. The processco at breakfast on Sunday was a nice suprise. There was only one night when the food didn't suit and that was fish night and we don't eat very much fish,so we are out that night but we had planned to do that one night anyway. Cannot fault the room. The view could have been better but the room was always clean and tidy. Definately coming back to this hotel and I am returning in September this year with my Mum and Dad.
    "Lovely Holiday"
We stayed at Hovima La Pinta in September for two weeks booked through RCI - through timeshare the hotel is called Club La Pinta. The RCI Reception is, as stated in previous reviews, just one floor up from the main reception and easy to find but don't haul your luggage up there because you'll only have to carry it down again after you've checked in. We had a really marvellous relaxing time. We were on the fourth floor in a one bed apartment with a lovely pool/sea view. If sitting on the balcony in the evening there were the sounds of music from the various restaurants all along the beach front but that stopped at midnight and didn't trouble us at all. The bedroom was at the back of the apartment and we had no problems with noise. It was absolutely fine for the two of us size wise, though might be a little crowded for four. The apartment had everything we needed, was extremely clean, housekeeping staff were very good and very pleasant. The kitchen was small but perfectly adequate for holiday self catering and had a cooker (which we didn't use) fridge (small freezer) microwave, toaster etc also tea towels and washing up liquid provided. All towels were changed regularly. The bathroom was fine and had lots of storage for all the bits and pieces and plenty of hooks for hanging towels, dressing gowns etc. There was a supply of tea/coffee, milk water etc., to tide us over on arrival. The apartment was somewhat dated but perfectly useable and some of the RCI apartments were already in the process of being renovated and refurbished and they were looking very good too (we peeked through the windows after the workmen had left for the day). The pool area was in a lovely position and kept thoroughly clean. Can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't use it. The main hotel reception staff were polite and pleasant with us on the odd occasion we needed to speak to them when RCI reception was closed - I had noticed that some revues mentioned that they were not so nice with RCI clients, but they were fine with us. As a retired couple it was perfect for us in as much as we had access to all the shops and restaurants and easy walking, there is a good supermarket just a short way up on the opposite side of the road to the hotel front. There is also a lift which we used after 8.00 pm to go down to the beach (there is a gate from the pool area open through the day with a key card which goes down to the beach-side but it is locked at 8pm) and although we were told the lift was stopped at 10pm we were using it up to and after midnight all the holiday. We visited some very nice restaurants, but the two we'd recommend are El Puerto which is beach-side and Amanda, which has nightly entertainment and is on same road as the Hotel front, turn left, cross over and a couple of minutes walk. All in all, we had an absolutely lovely time, very relaxing and would certainly go there again, though I believe if your booking via RCI can only return once every four years.
    "Great Location"
Having stayed at many other hotels in this resort, we got a decent bargain at La Pinta for a 4 day short break. It was immaculately clean, although a little out dated. Staff were helpful and friendly, and its convenience next to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants was excellent. We would certainly consider this hotel when going to Tenerife again, providing the price is right !

    "LOVELY HOTEL, GREAT LOCATION"
Our 4th time back to this resort, we love the area loads of bars, restaurants and shops. Last time we came we saw this hotel and said one day we will stay here, and we have!! Right on the beach front, and the location is fab with everything on your door step. 15mins from Airport. We were B&B which i would highly recommend as so many restaurants outside. We would recommend Harleys bar and Eugenes is great for entertainment, we saw the Blue Brothers which were fab. Our 2 favourite bars were Kaluna beach club and on your doorstep for food and drinks was Dubai Cafe. All the restaurant are great, never a bad meal. The room has everything you need, cooker 4 ring hob, fridge, kettle and toaster. Not that I used the cooker only the kettle for the morning cuppa and the fridge for the wine! We had a sea view room which is worth paying the extra for. If I was to give a negative it would be the hotel could do with a refurb as a little dated but otherwise we loved our stay and will definitely be back.
    "Fantastic location"
Myself, my husband and two friends stayed at this hotel earlier this year in February. The biggest selling point is it's location, with restaurants, bars shops, etc. plus the hotel has direct beach access via a secure gated walkway from the pool area. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and both our friend's room and ours were very spacious. We had a small, but more than adequate kitchen, a really good sitting area and a separate twin bedroom, plus bathroom and yes, as other reviews say, the furniture could do with a bit of updating, but did not detract from what was a great holiday.
"Perfect October pool and sun getaway"
We visited La Pinta for the second time and found it great again. We were lucky to get one of the few renovated rooms. Full board seemed good value and we particularly enjoyed lunch at the pool restaurant. Entertainment (Elvis) was great for kids and aqua-aerobics : ) We didn't find the new beach club music annoying - we found it better quality music during the day and it finished at a decent time. As always the best point is the access to the beach and the friendly helpfulness of the staff.
    "Another Cracking Holiday"
We came back for a week in March, the hotel was lovely although and had a room with a view of the pool this time. There is Ffree wifi in reception, which is great. The pool area was great, the kids enjoyed splashing about in the pool, along with the little park area ideal to keep the kids occupied. Very easy access to the beach and shops around the marina. We had such a lovely time and have recommended it to many friends. All the staff were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay :) Outside the front door there is lots of access to shops and restaurants within a stones throw. Lots to keep you occupied during the day.
    "Great position"
We were not originally booked into this hotel and were transferred here by another Homiva hotel in Puerto Colon so had no idea what we were moving into! On arrival the reception staff were very kind and pointed us in the direction of the bag room because we were to early for check in at 3pm. We were directed to a lovely restaurant where we had a relaxing lunch and then returned for check in. Good English speaking polite staff and best of all we were given breakfast as a complimentary treat because of the booking changes. The hotel has a spacious airy feel and lifts. They are glass fronted so if you don't like heights stay by the doors!! Corridors are covered but have open areas to the centre which is very pretty and allows fresh air. We had a studio twin room which was located on the 1st floor. We could see the sea from our side elevation balcony. Good size balcony with table and chairs to sit and watch the stunning sunsets. Room had lounge with double sofabed (did not try this) sofa, TV and dining table and chairs. Small open kitchen with sufficient supply of cutlery and crockery. Fridge, oven and hob. Kettle and toaster. Bedroom was a good size and internal so no noise from the sidewalk, however you can hear people coming in late at night especially ladies in high heels!!! Good dressing table, mirror and wardrobe a good size. Safe in wardrobe which you pay extra for but also a good size for Tablets and laptops if required. Bathroom was good size with Bidet, WC, bath with shower attachment mounted on wall and wash hand basin with plenty of space for toiletries. Hairdryer was surprisingly efficient (didn't have to use mine). We did not book breakfast but if we return we will certainly add this to our room. You could not want for more at the breakfast buffet. From cereal to full English and on Sunday "Cava" to accompany your Orange juice. :) Hotel pool was lovely and clean and the animation team all seemed friendly, however we spent most of our time on the beach which is just a small trip down the steps from the pool, through a locked gate (residents get card to unlock) beware though it is not open until 8am and closes at 8pm so you have to use front of hotel between those hours. All in all I would return to this hotel tomorrow if I could. Thank you to all the hard working staff at the hotel for our relaxing stay.
    "nice relaxing holiday"
just came home on 12th september we had a self catering apartment 2 bedrooms which was very spacious ,the only downfall was we booked a 2 bed 2 bathroom and only got a 1 bathroom they tried to offer us another room but it was not as good as the first one so we stayed in the origional room ,the view was amazing we could sit outside our balcony which had a table and 6 chairs and plenty of room for the 4 of us all in all we had a very pleasant stay it was clean and the maids came in every day except Sundays they where very friendly
    "Eden Catamaran"
Great trip, lovely photo on arrival of the 3 of us, which is rare, but a nice keep daft,!! Also a video was taken which we brought, 18 tried on all devices back home, comes up Error/ won't play unless its blank!! So be very careful. We saw Lots if whales too which was lovely.
    "Amazing view"
Stayed in one bed apt with my husband and 2 daughter, apt was lovely but because my daughter were 15 and 12 i found it a bit small but the sea view made up for it. The location is brilliant and your own card to get straight out to beach was excellent, just be aware it does'nt work after 8,lovely food,El Puorto has 3 course meals for 8.95 and 1 euro pints of beer.
    "Family favourite"
Good area. Nice and central to the various beaches, restaurants and such. Have visited here for 20+ years and always one of out firm favourite destinations. The rooms aren't the most modern but with promises of a 4 million upgrade, the hotel should be vastly improved. Nice pool area overlooking the beach and entertainment opportunities for the children. Would definitely recommend.
    "Fantastic"
I didn't book La Pinta, but was moved there after arriving at my hotel to find it was double booked (wasn't happy about this) :-(. My original hotel booked a taxi to take me to La Pinta. On arrival, the staff were waiting for me, and had my room ready. I had a one bedroom apartment with a sea/pool/marina view. It was lovely, quite a nice room and had air conditioning. Sun shone on the balcony almost all day long, this was heaven! Room was very clean, the maid service was excellent and were always very pleasant. :-) Breakfast was included with a good selection of cererals, fruit, hot and cold foods. I didn't take breakfast every day as I like to try other places, but always enjoyed it when I did. The location is excellent, right in front of the beach, close to all shops and restaurants. I truly enjoyed my stay and would have no hesitation of recommending La Pinta!
    "Lovely hotel"
We upgraded to a 2bedroom as our friends came with us we were not dissapointed with our apartment it was lovely big and spacious. Our ensuite had a jacuzzi as well as a shower. The pool was great it had a little pool for the children which they loved there was plenty of sunbeds and we overlooked the beach. Perfect holiday had a fantastic time.
    "Fantastic week"
We have just returned from tenerife having stayed at la pinta , we my husband and myself thought it was brilliant we had an apartment with breakfast, we could not fault it, the staff are really helpfull, the cleaners do a fantastic job on the hotel as a whole the room was immaculate, there was everything in the room we needed bed done everyday except sunday, it was lovely we will definitely stay again, we have been to five star hotels but we dont think they gave us much more so yes we are happy
"Everything you need on the doorstep"
Stayed 4 nights last week. Be aware that the reception is at street level, which is deemed as level 4 of the hotel, only a couple of floors above. Nice aspect was the front door which opened out into an interior walkway which was exposed to the outside, not part of a normal dual hotel corridor. Apartment ideal for my wife and I, sharing with our son. Double/twin room at the rear, double sofa bed which was in living area which opened out onto balcony facing pool and sea. Access to beach via stairwell (controlled by provided swipe cards) by pool - ideal to be on beach/sea with minimal belongings and easy to go back/forth. Shops right outside hotel, but no noise heard from cars/passers-by. Food ok, but not as good as outher 4* hotels we've stayed in. Visit Siam water park, only 15 minute gentle stroll away - easy to find and well worth a visit. Consider taxi to/from south airport, as it's only 20 mins away (we saw a price of 25 Euros for trip) as transfer took over an hour to get there. Idela base for beach/shops/activities.
