"Just Great!"
Like others I was worried about the negative comments of some reviews but there was nothing to worry about. Massive rooms, well equipped, ultra helpful and friendly staff, a great pool and fantastic location within an easy drive of all the parks. Yes some of the furniture was a little dated but this was no issue. We would 100% return to this location. Tip - Walmart is less than a mile up the road but we found continuing past Walmart for another mile to Publix was worth it as the quality was far greater.

We booked through Expedia, and did not pay attention to the hotel, or amenities. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a fully functioning kitchen with all the pots, pans and utensils necessary! Can't wait until next time!
"Superb Apartments"
Arrived 05.09.14 and stayed 6 nights Booked room to sleep 6 - 8 This was a very nice self-catering apartment/flat. We booked a 3 bedroom suite called the Barbados suite with 2 bathrooms, of which there was a master bedroom with toilet and bathroom, another bedroom with 2 separate beds, and a 3rd bedroom with a big bed. There was also a separate living room with dinning and a kitchen with all the equipments for cooking microwave, cooker, fridge and wireless connection. The master bedroom, Jacuzzi bath, a shower, separate toilet, a room/ward robe to store your clothes with a safe for personal belongings, hoover, ironing board and iron provided. It also had a swimming pool with a large pirate ship for family and kids to play. We had parking spaces for our car. For 6 people, I felt this was more than affordable. For those who dont want to cook, there is a bar/restaurant. Walk just a bit further to the main road on the left there is a shopping outlet and Walmart (Asda in UK) is a 2 minute drive. For those travelling to the Disney World's Kingdoms, there is a Coach/bus shuttle that picks up at 8:55 and drops you at Epcot. Duration is about 15mins. Pick up/return times were 6:30pm or 10:30pm. You need to get a ticket from reception to be able to take the bus and also let the bus driver know what time you would like to return i.e. were 6:30pm or 10:30pm.
"Everything you expect for a 1st family long haul holiday"
Stayed here for our 1st family USA holiday to visit Disney and Great Universal. Everything it says in the brochures. We stayed in block, 13th floor, one 3 bedroom apartment for 6 of us and one 2 bed apartment, both club rooms. Our 3 bedroom was beautiful, overlooking the Disney fireworks, jacuzzi in the master bedroom, beautiful kitchen/dining area. All laundry and cooking facilities, dishwasher etc. Fridge stocked daily with soft drinks and water! Couldn't ask for anything more. Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was spotlessly clean. The pool was just right for both adults and children. Well placed for all the attractions and free shuttle service too! The Outlet shops are worth a visit for any bargains too. You really must visit Discovery Cove Sea World while your here if you can, an absolute amazing place, there's more to Orlando than Disney, definately worth checking out! Well done to staff and we also met some great taxi drivers too who deserve a mention. Watch out for some of the taxi drivers at Walmart, we paid $8 to get there and went to the stand to get one back and he wanted to charge us $15!! He took all our shopping back out if his car when we told him how much it cost to get there, but in the end managed to bargain him down to $10! Always take advantage of the free shuttles to the parks when you can, book at least 24hrs before. Much safer and well worth the savings. Can only vouch for the clubroom though as we never got to see any of the other buildings.

Was worried about adverse reviews I read prior to visit but any concerns soon vanished excellent location apartments roomy staff friendly after 15 visits to this area I would rank this apartments as one of the top I have stayed at in Florida to all the staff well done
"The best option outside of hotels parks"
Excellent!!! the best location! across the street Lake Buena Vista Factory Store!!! at 2 minutes Walmart, 5 minutes target...10 minutes walt disney world downtown entrance. rooms are very espacious and comfortables! all is excellent. If you need maid service, previously you can advise, or you can pay directly. included all the elements at the kitchen, coffee, sugar, etc etc

We had a great time at the property. For the space provided. I skipped stayin at a hilton property. Better overall value! We had friends come in for the weekend and stay with us in your 3 bdrm and we slept 8 easily

Shuttle service and wi-fi included in resort fee which is payable at the time of check-in. Unfortunately the shuttles don't always suit customer needs, either early morning and depending on attractions being visited if you were wanting to stay a little longer, your only means of transport on return will be a taxi which can vary between $18-35. Shuttles and tickets need to be booked at least 24hrs in advance.. Only local bar/diner is Farrell's Irish bar, food average, would be an advantage to have some other alternatives on site, other than having to taxi to different. I would definitely stay here again.

"Spent a wonderful week with the kids."
This place was the best. Spacious is an extreme understatement. There was more than enough room for my family of 5. Fully furnished kitchen. Great master bedroom in the suite with a full jacuzzi, walk in shower and private toilet. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, the manager Trish took great care of us while we waited. We even peaked at the housekeeping staff and they were sanitizing EVERY SQUARE INCH!!! I loved that. Pool area was so relaxing and from the water slide to the kiddie pool it had something for every member of our family. My only regret was that we weren't made aware of the need to order housekeeping 24 hrs in advance...so I did the cleaning ):
"Staycation!"
We live only 75 minutes away but wanted to stay for several days while we were renewing our annual Disney passes and have a fun weekend. Well this place rocked! Our 2.5 year old immediately jumped out of bed every morning and started chanting "pirate ship!" He had a blast. I got sick for a day and ended up in the room and bed all day but it was a nice place to be stuck. Very comfortable. Huge whirlpool tub was loved by all also. We loved having the kitchen there to be able to make our own meals also. We didn't use the washer but used the dryer nightly to dry our bathing suits and towels. We will be back!

I have stayed here many many times and I have nothing negative to say. It is wonderful!!! From the front desk staff to the beautiful condo like living. It is by far the best place to stay in Orlando!!!! The only thing I would change are the pillows. Bring your own if your going to stay here :-)

It was our second visit here, and we were not disappointed!! We are already planning our next trip, next summer!! We look at other hotels and resorts, but keep coming back to this one! All apartments in 5 blocks with plenty of parking Internal corridors, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchens with washer/dryers! Easy access to shops, restaurants and the theme parks!!!! Perfect!!!!

Everything about my families stay was wonderful, from the cleanliness of the entire suite (rooms, kitchen, bathrooms) to the fun pool. LBV made our Disney vacation very enjoyable. We hope to go back one day.

Convenient location, only 15 minutes from Disney. We had a three bedroom two bath with hot tub in master bedroom. We had a terrace facing towards Disney and were able to see fireworks every night. The apartment had a washer and drier, dish washer and full compline of pots, pans, dishes and silverware. There are two pools. The larger one had a slide and pool side bar and cafe.

I booked a reservation at the last minute and was surprised of the location and accessibility to local stores and shops. The facility was awesome and provided a lot to do in the local area (resort), as well as in the Orlando area
"Pool is Awesome for Children"
Clean and friendly. Front desk was very helpful at checking, parking was easy and free. Room was easy to find and had a nice view of Pirate Pool. Would have liked poolside service, but the bar is not too far to order and pick up your food. Our A/C stopped working one morning, and there were two tech guys there to fix very quickly. Both were friendly and helpful. A/C was fixed within the hour. Overall, nice place...we will be back.

what can we say, excellent family resort to stay in, great staff, excellent apartment with full facilities included. brilliant pool for everybody to chill at after a long day out at the parks. extremely well maintained premises and pool, would definitely stay here again (when we book again) close to all major parks and restaurants. 5 star resort
"Everything we needed!"
We will be back! Great place! It was very clean! They had lots for the kids to do! Tons of room! We stayed for my daughter's birthday and we brought 5 kids total and there was plenty of fun! Next time we want to stay for more than one night.

"Another fab holiday"
This was our 2nd visit to Hawthorn Suites, LBV and we were not disappointed. Staff really pleasant and helpful particularly Tim and Antonio. Had requested a room not on ground floor and with a pool view and that is what we got. Room was spacious and clean. We saw people who were there on our last visit so we're not the only ones that return lol. Bonus of being here is the free breakfast - always egg of some kind, sausage, bacon, English muffins, bagels, toast, fruit juices, fruit and yoghurt and tea and coffee. Pool is adequate and our son enjoyed playing basketball. We had issue with air conditioning two weeks in but were moved no problems (still got my pool view). Hotel is in a great position - close to Disney and Sea World and easy access to Universal. Walmart is not fat away either. Plenty of free parking spaces. Would (and have) recommend(ed) this hotel to friends. Would b nice to have a bar u could sit and relax in and have a beer after a day at the parks but we did that in the room. Looking for next August but will book direct with hotel. This hotel ticks all boxes. Thank u all for a wonderful stay and hopefully c u in 11 months time
