Awesome resort, great food, great buffet, wonderful entertainment. Beautiful beaches and sun and friendly staff. Incredible vacation. My wife and I had an amazing time playing volleyball at the beach, having drinks in the sand, and sitting in the rooftop jacuzzi pools. Nice infinity pool, and very classy cigar bar. We went to coffee and me every single day and Henerey who works behind the bar is a total sweetheart! We loved her to death! coque sin hielo! thanks for an amazing trip!

"No regrets!"
So glad I booked my trip at Oasis Tulum. It was a great experience. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, well kept and clean. The pools were gorgeous. There were a lot of different pool areas so when one would get too crowded you can always hop to a new one. They give you a free bottle of tequila as a welcome gift. Only real complaint I have is about the dining. The buffet can get really crowded and you can wait up to an hr for a seat. Stinks that you have no other option to get food but the buffet and sometimes even during a slow time, I had to ask the server for a drink 3 times bc they keep forgetting about my drink. Also its hard to make reservations for restaurants bc apparently you have to make them when you first arrive and keep the same reservation for ur entire trip, at least that's what I was told by the concierge. The food at the buffet is the same food everyday. By day 3 I was so sick of eating it. Other than that, I highly recommend this resort. If they had this resort in other countries, I'll definitely be staying here again!
"Fantastic Trip!"
Our first trip to Mexico - to the Oasis Tulum was fantastic! The hotel room was a little small but we were not in there a whole lot so not a big deal. Lots of Activities planned all day at the pool and Ocean/beach. A nightly show at 830pm in the theatre made for a very memorable trip! The STAFF was absolutely wonderful! Food was great.. Most of the bars shut down fairly early but I am sure there is a reason for that :) We never had a problem finding food or a beverage..
"Best Trip Ever"
My family and I just returned from an AMAZING week at the Oasis Tulum Resort in Riviera Maya. The Hotel, the staff, the activities, the food, the beach, EVERYTHING was awesome. There were enough food and drink options available to keep us wanting more every day. The shows were incredible! My parents became friends with the staff thanks to their friendliness. In particular, the pool bartender. He was very attentive and very friendly and helpful with tips on where to go and what to do. Our room housekeeper was also great. On our last day, she somehow created a doll and two swans out of towels. TOWELS! They were so cool! She also made sure we had water bottles every day and enough towels.
"Best 'Bang For Your Buck' Vaca You Can Ask For!"
My fiancee and I fell in love with Oasis Tulum. We stayed at the regular resort (not on the upgrade side) and are so happy we did. We almost didn't go because we read some poor reviews. But they were all dead wrong. Room was clean, food was excellent, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Best of all, and the reason we went, the beaches are AMAZING! If you snorkel, you have to go here. Fish, rays, and sea turtles, all 10 feet from the shore (no exaggeration). If you stay on the "cheap" side of the resort it's the best bang for your buck vacation you can ask for. If you really want to pamper yourself, go to the grand side. Either way, I'm jealous of the vacation you will have!
"Good vaule for getaway"
First time in Tulum. Previously, We had stay at Grand oasis Cancun in the past, we thought try somewhere else different. Our experiences at Grand Oasis Tulum was great for getting away from all the crowded resort and truly relaxing to just set by the beach. What a breath taking view of white soft sand in my feet and warm water that is so clear that I can see the corals and different species of fish just by standing on the gazebo in the water. I would definitely suggested to anyone that is looking for not so crowed resort. Still have all the fun activity that you can think of doing, I would recommend trying Jungle Mayan excursion. We really had a wonderful time. No matter if it did rain most of time we were there. But still had fun!

We booked this trip with CheapCaribbean. Everything worked out great!!We are going to book again with them. Oasis Tulum was not for night birds, one bar stayed open till 1am. everything else closed at 10.No big deal to us we like to watch the sunrise and watch the turtles & baby turtles right on the beach! It was great. The free snorkeling was fun, 3 times a day, the reef was not far right off the beach, we saw so many beautiful fish. The free show was good,the food was very good, the staff were very nice and worked really hard. The resort is very tropical not so modern, that, we really like,we get modern all day long in the states we wanted something different. it was just what we were looking for, very relaxing & peaceful.Lots of little towns close by, so we got to see some of the local people. This vacation was great because you can do as much as you want or as little. We are planning another trip with CheapCaribbean but if we go back to Mexico we will return to Oasis Tulum. Thank you CheapCaribbean for a GREAT vacation
"awesome vacation"
the oasis tulum was a wonderful get away my husband and I stayed a week at the grand oasis and loved every minute of it! we booked the shopping tour to playa del carmen and that was awesome the guide was helpful and very nice. we also went to tulum and coba ruins the guide was informative and fun to talk to and Charlie the cheap Caribbean guide at the oasis is the best!!! he was there every morning making sure all the excursions went off without a hitch. We can't wait to go back!

It was a great and relax vacation. The food and service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful too. There were activities and entertainment everyday for everyone to enjoy. The location was really nice and secure private place. I would definately recommend to my friends to vacation here.
"What a Joy!"
To start our trip off we ended up getting stuck in Philly as we missed our connector flight. US Airways was not the most pleasant to deal with but reclaimed a lot in the end. Cheapcaribbean ended up saving us in the end and got us our one night and one day back without moving our room and at no cost. The Resort was spectacular and simple. The beach and ocean were beautiful. The pools were clean and warm. Our room was amazing facing the ocean. The service was great, the employees are pleasant and polite. I would go back again in an instant. Thank You Oasis Tulum and Cheapcaribbean!
"Amazing!!!!"
This hotel was wonderfull, we stayed with our friends group of seven, with three smaller children,. We loved every second of it and hated to leave. Everything was awesome. The people on here complaining about this place are crazy, what do you expect to get out of a buffet every day, of course there going to reuses some things, don't be silly. We spent the extra money to go to the greand side of the hotel, we got a smart car for free and could go to and ala carte restaurant we choose to., it was all amazing, they had a seven person table set up for us whenever we arrived anywhere,.the staff was wonderfull, bring several hundred in ones for tips and the staff will love you forever .,. Again cant say enough how wonderfull it was...,great yourselves and visit the grand oasis tulum.
"Fun Vacation!"
We had a great time at this resort. Snorkeling was great right off the beach, weather was fabulous, it was all we were hoping for. Reviews were spot on that we read. It was well worth the price paid. I can say that the tours everyone is trying to sell are cheap or even free if you get yourself there. Snorkeling with the turtles is free to the public if you find the beach access, the beach front Mayan ruins (Tulum) has a $6 usd adult admission (kids are free) and a $6 parking fee if you can't find the free lot! The tour prices aren't bad if you would rather not find it yourself, though. You can almost always talk them down a little, too.We enjoyed a fishing charter on a small boat right off our beach, caught a 40" Barracuda. Don't go if you are prone to motion sickness! We also found a less frequented Cenote (snorkeling cave) to explore. The kids loved it! I recommend getting the tulum area travel guide and reading it before you go. Have fun!

First visit and would definitely go again! We had an ocean front room which didn't have much of an ocean view & was disappointing at first impression but it turned out to be wonderful! Our room was beach front but on the bottom floor so view was limited but so very convenient to the beach & dining it turned out fabulous! You need to book an upper level or the grand for a true ocean view. Room was very clean. I did talk to a person who had a garden room & they had to take a golf cart to get to the beach so if the beach is where you want to be take that into consideration. Pools were beautiful. Beach was fantastic since it was clean, sandy & not rocky so swimming & snorkling was good. This is a resort for the person who wants to relax since activities are limited but you can enjoy the beach instead of listening to the roar of jets skis. Food was very good & Gaspar our server hustled to take care of you & keep things running smoothly. Gaspar was great! Menu was limited & unimpressive at the reservation only restaurant & choices were good at the buffet so we didn't bother trying the restaurant. It would be nice if they had self serve coffee available especially in the mornings but we all just hung around waiting for the coffee to be available & it was fine. Miguel at the beach bar was great & the drinks readily available. Get to the beach early for shade & by early I mean 6:30 ish. Try the mango magarita & enjoy relaxing while someone else takes care of everything else! It was a great place to be!

Oasis Tulum very nice clean place to stay dont read bed reviews for Oasis Tulum i stayed from 11-26-2012 to 11-30-2012 great 4 days of my life .Food is great .Service exelence.This is very quiet place to be if you looking for night time party go to Concun Hotel Zone .Just wait when you see the BEACH wow .And make sure you take the long walk on this beach soo you can see resorts next to it and then you gone know how perfect Oasis Tulum is.
"Great value"
We went to Oasis Tulum for our honeymoon. We got an amazing deal on the flight/resort package and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to see how nice the resort was. Nothing felt over-the-top luxurious; if you want that you should pay a lot more and go to one of the luxury resorts. But it was all very nice and we felt plenty pampered. The staff was very helpful whenever we had questions. Our room was clean and everything worked properly. The pools were a bit cold, and even the "hot tubs" were really just "slightly warm tubs." But the beach was amazing - white sand, plenty of chairs and umbrellas, decent snorkeling. There were sea urchins in the bay, so be sure to bring water shoes (or just wear tennis shoes in the water). The food was just OK. We are vegetarians and had relatively slim pickings at the buffet and restaurants. I have other dietary restrictions, so I just brought some of my own favorite treats and staples and was fine. Even if you're not a vegetarian, don't come here if you're a foodie and want exceptional dining. But if you're looking for a quiet beach, nice service and a relaxing all-inclusive, I would definitely recommend Oasis Tulum.
