Macao Punta Cana Resort

Highly recommend this resort! The views, the beach, the pools and the food are all wonderful! The staff is great, our Butler Ugery took care of every request and detail! The Staff at the Little Explorers Kids Club were great and our son wanted to go back day after day! We will definitely return!

We had an amazing stay at Macao Punta Cana Resort Everyone was so friendly and attentive and ensured we had a great time. Resort was clean and had tons of activities — events every night and games during the day.

We had a wonderful vacation at Macao Punta Cana Resort. The resort was beautiful and the staff was attentive and pleasant, especially our butler Ugery, who was super accommodating. We had so much fun and hope to be back!

Yes! Macao beach is stunning with awesome scenery. But that is not what made our vacation special. It is the people who work at the Macao Punta Cana Resort. We went to this resort to celebrate my wife's birthday with our two little boys (6 yrs and 3 yrs old). l) The check-in process, though a bit delayed, was friendly and smooth. Although we already booked a preferred club suite. We were given the option to upgrade at a discounted price to three different categories of rooms. We were given a tour of all of them and allowed to choose or keep what we booked. We upgraded to the one we liked the most. We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolate truffles. 2) Our Butler, Mr. Omar, was one of the most sincere persons I have ever met. He did everything with dedication and genuinely cared for his guests. He was always there when we needed him, no matter how busy he was. He took care of everything from restaurant bookings to romantic dinners and never hesitated to say yes to anything we asked for. 3) Ms. Marisol at the Spa was a great masseuse. Don't forget to get your hot stone massage with oil if you visit here—one of a kind experience. 4) Mr. Ricardo gets the credit for making my wife's birthday most memorable. Besides organizing our romantic dinner on the beach, he brought a specially made chocolate truffle cake with sparkling fireworks to our suite, making my wife and children so excited and joyful. 5) Ms. Yoceline was our best housekeeping lady. She was so cheerful and did everything while singing. She was so sweet that she came to say goodbye to us with a translator to say kind words and good wishes. 6) Ms. Raquel was one of the waitresses who served us in multiple restaurants during our stay. With two little ones, you always need some different from what's on the menu. However, she was always kind and never hesitated to go out of her way to get us something that is not on the menu. 7) Their kid's club is called the explorer's club, open from 9:30-6:00 every day. It is run by two sweet ladies who chose to have their anglicized names as "Happiness" and "Lollipop." They were so full of fun and had every day packed with activities for the kids. They were so entertaining that the kids wanted to go there every day. They organized kids' disco and games like musical chairs every night at 8:30. "Lollipop" always gave lollipops to the little ones at the end of the day. The explorer's club is outstanding. Their breakfast buffet is very elaborate, and you can have anything you like, from authentic Dominican food to typical western breakfast. Oceana was great for lunch but got too busy for dinner. Himitsu is great for Japanese and Asian cuisine. The Mexican and Italian restaurants were pretty average. In general, their appetizers were great, and the entrees were nothing worth mentioning. Unfortunately, their room service menu is minimal, and the quality of food delivered needs significant improvement. They organized a Gala Dinner for Preferred Club members, where there was a set menu specially curated for the event, spiced up with a variety of entertainment including live music, a fire show, and belly dance. You earn resort currency for participating in entertainment events, and you can win prizes at their auction Mondays and Wednesdays using the earned money. Overall it is a very nice place to celebrate any of your special occasions and we would love to be back.

If you’re looking for Paradise .. you found it! The aesthetics are unmatched, and it’s even more gorgeous in person. Great family vacation. The service was outstanding, and I do not say that lightly. If you can book a Spa - DO IT. The most amazing massage I’ve ever had!! (And they had a kids club, so parents can have some me time). Concierge services at all times. They really went above and beyond! Eli at the front desk is the best! He will take care of your every need. The chefs were unbelievable. Domingo and José did a wonderful job. I celebrated my birthday and they made it absolutely magical. Randy, Obama and Beyoncé were just amazing. They took so much care of us!! The staff in general really wants to make your vacation worth while. We had a great time. You cannot beat an all-inclusive experience. I don’t know who had a better time, my fiance and I... or our toddler! Perfect scenery and PERFECT place to stay. Definitely recommending to all our of friends and family.
