"Wonderful staff & Marvellous experience!"
Excellent location close to the Medano beach where we had lots of fun! The staff was soooo nice helpful and attentive to all our needs. There was only one thing that was a little bit annoying and that was to be signing for every meal and drink. I think they should have a different system that could be more convenient for the guests although I understand the purpose behind it. Our room had a beautiful view to the Marine and the lady in charge of cleaning our room was so friendly always with a smile, I think her name is Blanca. The concierge, a blonde friendly clerk whose name I just can't remember was super friendly and always helpful. The restaurants were great and the food delicious and the same goes for the drinks served at the pool. What a service! All the waiters were super friendly and made us feel at home. What an experience! If you are as picky as I am when it comes to quality of service, The Marina Fiesta Hotel is the place. We're definitely coming back next year!
"Great experience in Los Cabos!"
We had a great time staying in this hotel. It is right off of the marina, so you do not need to walk far to most attractions. The service was excellent. The pool area was especially fun and the bartender made good drinks. The activities were well planned and creative, especially the cooking class. Also, go to the Baja Lobster for a great dinner!
"Location! Location! Location!"
My friends and I (girls in their 30s) stayed at the Marina Fiesta Resort the week of April 7th, which seemed to be after most of the Spring Break madness had died down. We were using a friend's time share, so for us the value could not be beat. But even if that were not the case, you could not beat the location of this resort! Other than transportation to and from the airport, we did not have to take one taxi the whole week (which saved us a ton of money!). Medano beach was a 5 minute walk, many amazing restaurants (The Office, Edith's, Bar Esquina) were only a 5 to 10 minute walk away, and the resort is just a stone's throw from all of the downtown clubs (Mandala, Squid Roe, Pink Kitty). We loved being on the marina, and having breakfast at Senor Sweets every morning (we did not do the all-inclusive at the resort). I'm not sure if this is the case during the busy Spring Break time, but the week we were there the resort's second pool (the one not on the marina) was relatively quiet and we pretty much had it to ourselves. It seemed to get more sunlight than the other pool as well, so we loved it! Photo below. The room was spacious and more than adequate. The staff members were very friendly and always had smiles on their faces. Esteban was particularly helpful in booking activities and reservations for us and making recommendations of things to do. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Cabo!
"GREAT RESORT"
I have stayed here twice now and love it, the service is great, very friendly and helpful. You cant beat the location it is right in the heart of downtown, you don't have to pay for cab rides you can walk everywhere. You never have to leave your seat at the pool the servers are on it, its great, I would highly recommend this place.
"Top notch concierge service"
My husband and I travel quiet often and I have to say that this place by far is one of the best we have visited. The place is beautiful but what really made out stay unforgettable was the service. Everyone around the hotel is so nice and welcoming however it is worth to mention and recognize those that really make the difference in people's vacations like Ms. Wendy Campos my husband and I can be a little needy some times and 100% of the time we use the concierge services wherever we go. We like to ask pretty much about everything to make sure we make the best of our stay. Ms. Wendy was very knowledgable, gracious, friendly, personable and professional. Every suggestion she gave us was wonderful and we enjoyed every activity from the tours to the dinners. People like Ms. Wendy makes "needy" guests like us want to come back and recommend the hotel to all of our friends.. We highly suggest everyone to visit this beautiful hotel and spa and be sure to visit the concierge desk and ask for Wendy she is definitely your go to person and you can make sure that she will go above and beyond to create wonderful memories for your trip like she did with us. Every hotel should have employees like her :)
"The best activity host we have ever had!!!"
This was our second year in a row coming here and it was even better than last April!! Moises made the daily activites the best. He played with the kids so well and even had fun adult activities!! The kids really hope to see you next year and they are going to miss you!! The breakfast buffet waiter Joaquin was really great and always knew our name and room number. For the Pool service Eliud was on top of it all!!! He had a new drink ready for us before ours was even empty!!! He knew what food our kids wanted before they even ordered!! The 2 best restaurants were Jack's and Baja Lobster and mainly because we had great servers. Luis is the best at Jack's and Mario is number one at Baja Lobster!!! These 2 waiters are what brings us back to these restaurants and without the 5 people mentioned above we would not be so excited to come back next year!! SEE U ALL IN APRIL 2015!!!
"Great Time Once Again!"
This was our second visit to the Marina Fiesta and once again had a terrific stay from Mar 15-22. We had booked thru RCI and were given a location in the 2nd phase which I didn't want. We asked to change to the 1st phase with the marina/pool view and were given even a nicer room than the one we had 2 years ago! We appreciated that. We usually like to go into town to the many restaurants, but at the last minute opted for the all-inclusive as my husband was nursing an injury and couldn't walk as much. Although the restaurants are all quite good, we frequented our favourite restaurant,Jack's, as Soloman and his staff make it so enjoyable. Unfortunately musician, Horatio was unable to play, but brought friends to help him out and made the evening just as fun. The hotel was clean, service great, but the only change this year were the addition of many spring breakers. We were fortunate not to be woken too much at night, but heard many others were. The pool was pretty busy also, until they left around 2:00 for Mango Deck. Not sure the direction of the hotel, but we preferred the ambiance we enjoyed 2 years ago. We'll still be back tho', unless it gets too crazy! We love the location, the staff is terrific, the food is good, and our rooms have been
perfect. See you all again soon!
"What A Wonderful Place! Thanks Wendy!"
So we are big travelers and we have been to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta but nothing compares to Cabo San Lucas, especially Marina Fiesta. I am very particular about service and this place is 5 stars on excellent service! From the moment you arrive everyone makes is so polite, from our bell boy Miguel to Liz the front desk clerk. I would recommend the all inclusive package because its a heck of a good deal, as the food choices include Italian, Japanese, and Mexican. Also a huge shout out to Wendy our concierge which treated me and my husband like royalty. She booked our restaurant reservations and a whale watching tour, she was very attentive and always has a smile on her face. I really recommend this hotel to anyone and its like walking into paradise, all the staff were great and I have no complaints. Take it from someone who is very picky, you can't go wrong with Marina Fiesta!
"location, location, location"
Just returned from a week stay at the Marina Fiesta. This was our 3rd visit to Cabo and the Marina Fiesta was awesome. Walking distance to everything. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to help you. We had room 517 with a beautiful view of the marina. There were about 80 spring breakers that showed up and they were loud and crazy but we found it entertaining. We did the all inclusive and found it worth the money. We ate at Jacks and Presto and both were great. I would definately return next year.
"All inclusive good deal"
Hard working pleasant staff, suite was one of the not yet updated suites but was fine to sleep in. Suite included cooking facilities which I didn't use but could be useful for some families.Private pool at back of property for early part of day, 3 pm on use the main pool which they were cleaning nightly. Choice of 5 restaurants to eat out using their all inclusive-great deal.
You need to go through their time share pitch for 2 hours but if you're on with that - it's a great way to spend 5 days...
"Fun Vacation"
Wonderful family vacation at the Marina Fiesta. We had a great time. Special thanks to Wendy, the Concierge for setting up delightful dinners and activities for our group. We had a blast surfing, snorkeling and ATVing. Thanks Wendy! Our breakfast waiter Joaquin was very attentive and really took care of our group. Thanks so much Wendy and Joaquin for making our trip memorable.
"College spring break"
As a college student on spring break I wasn't sure what to expect. My friend's parents had a timeshare so it was perfect. This hotel was a perfect location for everything! Right next to the bars and clubs and a short walk to Mango Deck, etc. During spring break it was definitely more college oriented and we kind of took over the family vibe there but I'm sure any other time of the year it's perfect for a family vacation. The bell boys Sergio, Peter, and Migel were also a plus to our stay. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always available to us any time we had questions.
"Great Location"
The Marina Fiesta's location cannot be beat. We did not have to rent a car because we could easily walk everywhere in the marina area and to Medando Beach. The maid service was excellent and the front desk service was also good. I had one request to meet to get my "welcome gift" (i.e. hear a time share presentation) but once I said no they did not bother me again. I took advantage of a massage at the spa and it was very good. I got a mid-week discount which brought the price into the reasonable range. The only downfall of the trip was it was Spring Break and there were a few 4 a.m. knocks on door/drunken screaming sessions from the high school and college kids, but that was to be expected during the time we were there. I had along a pair of ear plugs and all was good. I would definately return.
As an aside, the hotel advertises Transcabo (http://www.transcabo.com) as a preferred transportation provider to and from the airport and I would highly recommend them. They did a great job and patiently put up with some communication challenges that were totally my fault.
"Return Trip"
This is our second time that we have chosen to stay at Marina Fiesta... First, I would like to say a huge thank-you to the bellman Ceasar! He was very helpful, and I had lost a very important bag, and he went to above and beyond that night to help me find it... Also, Hoguer (SP) our waiter every morning at Jacks was awesome!!! He knew our order, was friendly and always had a smile... As an employer, we need to find awesome, hard workers as these 2 guys :)
"Return Trip - as good as first time !!"
This is the second time that we have chosen to stay at Marina Fiesta. Loved it almost as much as the first time. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the marina/pool (Deluxe Junior Suite). They put us in the incorrect room the first night, but no problems changing the next day. Thanks to everyone at the front desk.
The service at the resort was almost as good as our first time. The pool bar is awesome under Carlos' command. Never had to wait for drinks, he was very attentive. Don't like the fact that they have changed the pool bar hours though !! The pool is open until 8 pm, but the bar closes at 6 pm. The lobby bar opens at 2 pm to 10 pm.
The first time we were guests, the restaurants were just drop in. Now you need to make reservations to eat. Not a really big deal, but we liked being able to stop in at Jack's for something if we didn't like supper at the other restaurants.
PS - try the Banana's Flambe at Lobster Restaurant (AWESOME !!!)
"Loved the place, loved the Bellman!"
I recently stayed at this property and found everything to be perfect! Our needs were surpassed in that the accommodation was immaculate, the grounds were beautiful, and of particular delight was the courtesy, helpfulness, and general demeanor of our wonderful Bellman, Ceasar....I don't know his last name, but he went above and beyond in helping us get changed to the correct room, in helping us navigate the TV system, in providing information about the area, etc. I looked forward each day to seeing his cheery smiling face in the lobby and couldn't wait to share with him what our previous adventures had been or were going to be. Ceasar had excellent recall of previous conversations with us, paid close attn. to details we shared with him, and helped us feel at ease in Baja. He was very easy to have a conversation with and was friendly, helpful and professional. I hope the management there appreciates what they have in this fine young man. He is a wonderful asset to your establishment.
"Best location close to nightlife entertainment"
The excellent service starts once you step foot out of your transportation. From the check-in to check-out. Our fun started once they gave us room 123. patio has pool view and access if you step over the lil barrier no need to walk around. The bartenders at the swim up bar are very fun and entertaining. They offer a very good variety of alcoholic beverages, the pool stayed at pretty nice temperature. We did the all inclusive and enjoyed being able to go to any restaurant of our choice. I recommend the sushi place. The hotel is located close to the night clubs so theres no need for a taxi. it's right on the marina which is pretty nice close to mall and even a casino which nobody really noticed because its on the 3rd floor of the mall. stayed march 5th -10th. already planning on going back and booking here again. met tons of nice people workers and vacationers.
"Great!"
I had a great stay! Lovely accommodations. Friendly staff. Excellent service! The housekeeping department was excellent! Very convenient location being by the marina!
"Great Location!"
We went to Cabo to relax drink and party. The Marina Fiesta (All Inclusive) was the perfect location to accomplish our goals. The Staff was very nice and polite which set the tone. The room (Jr. Suite) was nice (not fancy) and clean, and had a view of the pool and partial view of the marina and down town. We walked to Medano Beach and the night clubs never needing a taxi. The food and drinks were okay, not bad, but not great the service was always very good and we enjoyed interacting with our servers. Although tips were included with the All Inclusive, we tipped so maybe that helped.
We stayed March 05-10, the crowd had a retired community feeling the first few days and a college Spring Break feel the last couple of days. The only problems we had were the hot tubs (main pool and 5th floor) weren't hot, and the jets in the men's spa hot tub were not working. We were asked to go to a Time Share presentation, we politely declined and that was it. It took us a couple of meals to figure out that service isn't slow but rather the pace of Mexico and began to embrace it. Would definitely stay there again.
"Easy and Fun"
Service from Pedro at the front was excellent, help with activities was first class. Giavianni at check in was professional, helpful and deserves a raise for putting up with rude guests. If you want a super quiet room ask for phase II.
