Medano Hotel and Suites

We loved everything! The beds for comfortable, the hotel staff was incredible especially Victor, our bellman he was always there to greet us and attend anything we might need.

The hotel was in a great location. It was new, beautiful, and clean. I loved how our room came with a balcony that overlooked the pool.

Price was great! The location made it possible to enjoy all the restaurants and bars rather than just being stuck at an all inclusive the whole trip.

This place is clean and fantastic! It has all the amenities you need. Amazing value. The walk to the beach is about a quarter mile.

The property is located at an easy walk from Medano beach and downtown.

Pool area was very beautiful and refreshing on a warm day. Good location for this newer hotel. Served it's purpose for us on the last night of our 8 day stay in Cabo. Breakfast was a nice bonus.

The location is down the road from the beach. The staff are very helpful. Jamie and Matt are very good doorman and will carry your bags to your room with a smile. All around the hotel's plaza are restaurants with multiple choices and some healthy options. Gluten free Ambers restaurant, also runs a very good priced bar. The staff are great people and very helpful. Free use of the washer and dryers on property or across the street there is an affordable laundry service. Beware of taxi vans overcharging all over Cabo. A few blocks away from the port, small white cabs can be found. They are affordable and great to get around. 100 pesos to get just about anywhere in town, vs 300 to 500 peso vans.

We have been to Cabo many times but wanted to stay more near the town where there is great food. They have really made this place charming. The beds are firm for those of you who love that. If not you can go get a mattress topper from the Walmart down the road for nothing. Rooms have a clean modern vibe. Nice pool. If you talk to Alexa, the concierge, she will let you know how you can get access to Cabo Villas beach club which is about a 6 minute walk away. Matt was excellent. Funny, direct, informative, and attentive to any need. Alexa, who I mentioned before was lovely. She is a REALLY good concierge - book outings with her to save a considerable amount and get plenty of advice on what to do locally. The lady who sat and spoke with us before we headed to Cabo Villas on Sunday who was also concierge, was wonderful. She had lived in Cabo since she was little and as much as we have seen it change it was interesting to have her insight on the growth. Matt, Alexa, Yusef, and the lady up front at check out. I did not get her name. You know who you are. Ha! These reviews become more like shout outs to the wonderful people we encounter in Mexico when we stay there. I wish you all well. It has been real stressful here in the US lately and I have to say I love Mexico. It took the stress away. Like Debbie P. said over at the spa in Cabo Villas, if there is a God, he/she is in Mexico. This hotel was referred by a friend. It's location is a walk away to Medano beach, the mall and downtown. We did not need taxi services as it's walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Breakfast was included at a restaurant next door which had great service. Out side is also a Mint bar which has a gluten free restaurant to the side and the bar serves margaritas made of fresh fruit! A place to eat is also close by called Gardenias that has great Fish and shrimp tacos among other things. The staff at Medano were very pleasant and nice. The rooms were nice and clean. This hotel does offer wifi but it is stronger near the pool and lobby areas. The restaurant also has its own wifi. I would recommend this hotel for its great location and staff. There is also a store in the front as well. Thanks Medano and staff!!!

The hotel has the best location, close to the beach and to bars. A special thanks to Yoseff for the great service, but kind of disappointed for the night shift guy I think his name was Frank offered us a really different service kind of poor, but other than that. everything was great!

I normally stay at the larger more upscale hotels when in Cabo but this hotel was a surprising change for a last minute get away. The entire staff was great and very accommodating. Matt,the bellman is the man to go to for anything that you need to make your stay enjoyable. This hotel is new with modern furnishings and within walking distance to the marina, mall, and down town Cabo. Truly a diamond in the rough!
