We stayed for the weekend, very nice! Our room was absolutely beautiful. Details to the very comfortable beds, pillows and nice living room furniture. Nice full kitchen with all the extras. Bathrooms are nice sized, great water pressure, nice fluffy towels. The heated pool was relaxing. Plenty to do by pool area, shuffle board, foose ball table, corn hole, fire pit, hot tub, grills, tennis court and basketball net.

"Beautiful Place"
We stayed for the weekend, very nice! Our room was absolutely beautiful. Details to the very comfortable beds, pillows and nice living room furniture. Nice full kitchen with all the extras. "Ideal for International Drive, Orlando"
This Complex was excellent with outside pool & games area and the appartments are large and have everything you need The staff were very helpful and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Quiet during day while families were out at parks so took advantage of Hot Tub and pool.
"Nice resort...Convenient to Universal"
Bluegreen owner here. Book Sunshine vs Fountains since we were doing Universal only on this trip. Was very satisfied with the amenities and room. Although much smaller than the Fountains property, its well maintained and less than a mile from Universal parks. Also very convenient to shopping outlets and dining establishments.

good location with facilities, attractions not far, we managed fine without a car there is a bus stop not far. friendly staff, sweet tomatoes' buffet restaurant not far. very good for vegetarians and value for money

Location and resort itself were great for Universal Studios and shopping. Staff was phenomenal. Amenities and facilities we're very well maintained. I would definitely stay at this location again in the future
"Sister Trip"
I wanted to take my sister on a trip to celebrate her retirement. We chose to stay here and are so glad that we did. The 2 bedroom unit was very comfortable and attractive. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the 2 baths were perfect. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Every time we went to the office, we were greeted with smiling faces and pleasant words. There were shops, a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again!
"Amazing!"
We had a great time at the resort! It was very clean and the staff was great! If you needed anything they took care of it right away. I would definitely stay there again. The kids really enjoyed making smores and watching movies by the pool at night. Location was great too. Only 10 minutes from Universal Studios.
"Relaxing Resort"
Check in was overall easy and ALL staff members were friendly and helpful with all questions. Concierge Services was not pushy regarding signing up for a presentation. The check in office had a variety of books and games and movies. The best part were the smores at night!!! This is an overall low key resort. My kids played shuffle board and swam a lot in the pool. The pool never felt crowded. The room was as described, with all needed accommodations and all expectations were met. Most importantly the room was clean and accommodations were comfortable. Overall my entire family was pleased with the experience. Grocery store within walking distance. We felt safe at all hours as a security guard was visible at all hours of the night and cameras were visible as well. We would stay again at this resort.
"Great Resort"
The Orlando Sunshine Resort is clean and comfortable. The Suites are spacious, clean and well supplied. The staff is very courteous and responsive. We enjoyed our stay there very much even on those days when we just stayed in the room watching TV and movies that the resort supplies.
"Family visit to Orlando"
We went to Orlando with our children and grandchildren. I was not anxious to go in the summer because of the heat and humidity, but staying at the Sunshine Resort made it bearable. The pool was great for the grandkids, and they loved the giant chess set by the pool. The location was great, but you do need to have a car for visiting the sites. We were especially pleased with the timeshare having 3 tv's in the unit so we could watch the world cup, and with the washer and dryer.
"Fantastic Week!!!"
Originally I wanted to stay at The Fountains, now I'm glad we stayed here!! The rooms are spacious. It has all the amenities of home. The screened in porch was amazing. Great pool area and jacuzzi. The unit was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and pillows. I loved having the washer and dryer. Everything was close by grocery stores, restaurants, and Universal Studios. I loved how quiet this resort was and you can still go visit The Fountains to use pools etc. Mario did a great job of checking us in. The whole staff was very polite and even checked on us to see if we were happy with everything. I'm so happy we stayed here. I would recommend to anyone and hope to stay here again someday. The only thing that would make this place a little better would be to have a little coffee shop in the lobby!!!
"Great location for Universal"
The resort is minutes away from Universal theme parks, we took an Uber XL for 6 people at about $12 each way insted of paying for parking 2 cars each day. The resort has big units and the nicest sleeper sofa I have ever seen. Full kitchen, three smart tvs, screened in porch, and a wonderfulll pool area with hot tub, gas grills, shuffle board, tennis court and basketball hoop. Walking distance to some stores and restaurants, short drive to many others. Staff were all very friendly and helpfull.
"Best couples retreat in Orlando"
A lot of blue green members settle for Sunshine when they can't get the Fountains. The reality is that the Sunshine has a place if it's own. It is quaint and quiet, smaller and more personal. My wife and I use the Sunshine for weekend get aways without the kids and for shopping at the mall many outlet mall that pepper the Orlando scenery. The Sunshine has been newly remodeled and they left the hot tubs in the master bedroom. It is the hot tubs that separate the Sunshine from all the rest, and it is the hot tubs that make the Sunshine the perfect Orlando Couples weekend get away.
"Very Clean and Well Maintained"
This is a nice clean resort with a great location. The rooms, pool and grounds are very clean. The management and staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay. One of the best resorts we have stayed at. Will be back
"Loved the Location, Small Resort but Quiet and Nice Rooms"
We had a great two-night stay here this past weekend. It was perfect for what we were doing. It is next door to the Fun Spot and very close to Universal and the complex where the Orlando Eye is. The room was clean and in great shape. There was a soil mark on the arm of the sofa, but that was the only blemish I noticed in the whole place. The master has a deep-soaking tub as well as a separate shower, and is very spacious. The customer service is known to be good there, and we had a good experience that way as well. The resort called us the week of our check-in and asked if there was anything they could do to make our stay more enjoyable. They customized a Welcome Packet accordingly. Also, we are Bluegreen owners and wanted to use the amenities for the day at The Fountains on Sunday but were not sure if they could accomodate our large party (11 people) given that The Fountains had no rooms available that weekend. The Sunshine staff got us approved for day use at The Fountains and had the wristbands in our welcome packet along with a lot of other great information. They have a nice pool area, a hot tub, gas grills, tennis, and ping pong. They also have a fire pit and s'mores kits, as well as games and movies to check out. We really enjoyed our stay and will return when we are doing things on that side of town.There is also a washer and dryer and well-equipped full kitchen in every unit. I also noticed that the walls are more sound-proof there than in many places we have stayed.
"Very good resort"
I find the previous personal slating of Lanette very offensive and totally unjustified. We are currently staying here and have found her, and all other staff, extremely helpful and friendly. The resort is very clean, pool and hot tub very enticing and the rooms enormous with modern kitchen appliances. Was a bit apprehensive about the adjacent funfair but really didn't know it was there. A great place to stay away from the madding crowds of I-Drive but still close enough for all facilities.
"Very nice rooms, love the size"
We checked in on Thursday. I have an employee discount, and stayed with my husband. It was very nice. I wish it was more affordable to other guests considering. I loved the price for what I paid, but they have very high nightly rates overall. But that being said the hotel is gorgeous, the room was spacious, the whirlpool tub was the huge incentive to stay. The front desk and security staff were awesome, very attentive and accommodating. I really have nothing bad to say about this property. Rooms were so clean, and management should be very happy with their staff.
"Great Property - Family Friendly"
Pool, hot tub, sauna, grills, firepit, movie around the pool, all great. Condo well maintained and spacious. Family of 6 were comfortable. We plan on returning to this spot. Note: 30 minutes from Disney.
"Superb location and Balcony and Condition of Unit"
I really appreciated that the office staff let me check in early. This is a fairly small resort and so much easier to check in early than at huge resorts like the Marriott. WiFi in the unit was excellent.. The kitchen was really well stocked. I appreciated the nice shampoo, conditioner and lotion and ever make up remover pads. I also appreciated the complimentary salt and pepper. The trolley is less than a block away and the bus is also very close. You can walk to McDonald's, Taco Bell and a huge outlet mall. Ross's and TJ Max are also a very short walk. Sweet Tomatoes buffet is the best deal in town. All the major restaurants are very close on International Drive. Extra laundry soap was available if requested . Lots of handy garbage containers and bags provided for recycling. Also an excellent book exchange.
"A short vacation"
We're Bluegreen owners and enjoy checking out the various BG properties. This was our first time at the Orlando Sunshine and are happy to say were very impressed with our stay. The resort staff is excellent and the room very, very nice. We appreciate that there were not a lot of kids running around as would probably be the case at the Fountains. We truly enjoyed the quiet and comfort of the resort. Two suggestions: raise the thermostat on the hot water heater a degree or two to allow for a better Jacuzzi experience, and have one or two vending machines on the property with soft drinks and snacks.
"A great Bluegreen property"
We are Bluegreen owners and are staying at different ones as much as we can. We arrived at 3 and our room was ready. We checked into a two bedroom and love it. Super clean rooms tans spacious. The pool was 82 degrees and there property grounds were clean. We were very pleased.
"Little gem"
You cannot judge a book by its cover as at first glance on arrival we were not sure we had made the correct decision. But once checked in the rooms were large and spacious , very clean and well equipped . The front desk could not have been more helpful. In the room we discovered only 2 coat hangers and a light bulb out: within 2 minutes this had been rectified . The pool area is small but everything is as it should be. With Comfortable sun beds. They have a much larger resort 7 miles away with 5 pools a a full programme of entertainment which we can use complimentary : we had a wonderful time as it is very near all attractions and the outlets Malls . Fabulous value for money and highly recommended
