I had a wonderful time at the Palace Resort. The front desk staff was wonderful and every other staff member I came in contact with. The room was spacious for me and my friends and very clean. I have already spread the word to my family and we are looking to book with you guys again very soon. The only downfall is there is no indoor pool. Thanks for making my friends and I stay worth while.

"R&R"
The staff is always courteous and kind. I always enjoy my visits to this resort. The breakfast is great and the variety is nice. A person can enjoy the breakfast without leaving the building. I try to stay anytime I go to the beach.
"My first time"
I check in July 10 I stay there for 3 night everything was amazing a lot of pools I stay at the 17 floor, nice clean pretty big nice view to the beach, I definitely coming back, there's a lot of things to do in Myrtle Beach, you don't need to drive over here everything is around the corner Gas Station, super market liquour store I'll be back next summer
"Unit 2014 is the best"
Loved our stay at the Palace and especially our Unit 2014 Each unit is individual owned so be sure to request this 2 BR 2 bath!!!! Staff is amazing and the view from this unit is breathtaking!!!! Furnishing make you feel right at home. More than enough seating. Big screen tv in living area and each bedroom has a tv.
"Life Saver"
Trip Advisors message advises that the resort is owned and operated by several different management companies. Take this information at FACE value. This is fact. Book directly with the management company at The Palace. Jennifer at the front desk saved our family trip. Before checking into one of there many nice, clean updated 1 bedroom units. She allowed me to see the rooms 1st. I moved from the dump right into a very nice room with ease. Room 1010 was WONDERFUL!!! Short story, I booked a 2 night stay at The Palace through Google search to find the cheapest rate AND I got what I paid for. Unfortunately my room was booked under the management company across the street from The Palace. Should have been my first warning. Anyway after waiting 2 hours to check in, the room looked like it was still stuck in the late 80's and DIRTY. Was Sheetrock dust EVERYWHERE. Sink and oven was dirty, bathroom was falling apart, balcony door had to be forced open, the floor needed to be sweeped, vacuumed, and moped. I couldn't even sit down nor imagine staying 2 nights in that room. Called back across the street and reported the problem and requested a new room. They told me no other rooms were available!!!! They would send the cleaning lady over to clean up. I had to laugh to keep from crying. Waited 40 minutes... no cleaning lady. I walked back across the street and checked out. I took a loss but my family wouldn't have enjoyed the beach in that room. Just crazy!!! Still can't believe they are renting that room.
"Excellent Service"
Jennifer at the front desk was excellent she seen that I did not get a discount because I had stayed there before and she added that to my balance. All the staff was friendly and very helpful Rooms are very clean. Food is very good.
"Needed getaway"
We got our room at the Palace Resort through Myrtle Beach Rooms for Rent. Got a great 5 day rate. Acommodations were excellent. The palace Resorts staff was accommodating. Myrtle Beach Rooms for Rent staff was phenominal. We made last minute reservations & they put us on the 22nd floor on the south side. The room was spacious, updayed, fully equipped & above all comfortable. The maid service through MBRFR was very professional. Thank you to Greg & his staff. I highly recommend them for your next stay in the Myrtle Beach area.
"Birthday weekend"
Did not have one complaint about the service this weekend. From the moment we arrived Jennifer and Mona Lisa ensured a quick and thorough check in!!!!! Bartender was excellent, and staff were courteous! Pleasantly surprised!! Upon arrival, one of the elevators was out of order, which made getting to and from the 23 floor a different task. It was fixed in a timely manner and I personally had no more issues. My room was a little outdated, which can be expected. It was clean, furnished, and functional for a birthday celebration. And the views were spectacular! Perhaps, you'll see me next year.
"Anniversary"
Great place to get away and spend time together as a family. All staff is polite and well mannered. Crystal, at the front desk is an awesome person and does everything she can to make you feel welcome. My family and I stay here twice a year and will continue.
"Very nice!"
Very quite! Nice swimming pools and hot tubs are a plus! You can also rent chairs on the beach very accessible. Great breakfast buffet it was yummy! Rooms were nice! Hallway smelled a tad stale. Staff was over all wonderful! We enjoyed our stay!
"I love this resort!!"
We were here July 1st- July 11th 2016. It was an awesome family vacation. We love this resort. We have been staying here for 4 years now. The pools and the pool area are very clean. Love the security staff they keep things going smooth and are very friendly. We also met some wonderful families here from other states. The staff here are very sweet. They always went above and beyond to make your stay here better. I don't have any complaints about our stay. The elevators can be a little slow on weekends with check ins and check outs but I was on vacation and in no hurry for those 11 days . It was a time for relaxing so we just waited patiently . We had a blast! We loved our room like always and we loved our ocean view!! We will be back!!
"family vacation"
we rented a 2 bedroom condo, it was very nice and roomy I would have liked if we had a washer and dryer in the unit. the ocean view was amazing the hotel was clean the staff was nice. did not have any issues, we even stayed an extra night. condo was right on the beach we could walk to the beach everyday from our room the pools were also nice. would rent this condo again... no heated pools, but 3 heated Jacuzzi's and saunas
"Best experience at a resort ever"
e went to Myrtle beach for the first time and stayed at the palace resort from July 4th to July 9th. The whole trip was fantastic. The palace is really clean. The room are nice. The employees very friendly and continuously helpful. Melissa the front desk manager was awesome and very helpful. The accommodations are great. We had things planned to do and instead decided to spend our vacation at the palace. The breakfast was delicious and had a large variety to choose from. They even allowed us to see our room prior to since they are individually owned and the decor varies. Hands down excellent experience. We hope to come back soon. I have included a few photos from our amazing 15th floor ocean view room and a few others of the resort
"Great place"
I was here for 5 days with my girlfriend who was staying at her brothers Condo...Went to the bar/snack bar numerous times while Jackie was the bartender....had nothing but a great experience each time! We laughed talked and found her to be very pleasant and friendly....would love to be able to stay here during the winter and hang at the bar!! It's nice to go to a place such as this and be treated well! Thx!
"Nice resort"
Rented a condo off of a private owner off of vrbo.com. Got great deal, spent 5 days here. Resort has a restaurant and bar which are nice. Price for breakfast buffet was a bit pricey for selection so only went there once, but workers are all very friendly. Resort grounds are kept clean and this resort is in a good area within walking distance to other fun places. Elevators can run slow so be patient if you're on a higher floor. All even floors have a washer and dryer they run 1.00 each. Nice pools and hot tubs. Game room for kids.
"Was clean and quiet just like we needed."
Had the best view of the beach and enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Very Clean rooms and plenty of beach area for playing frisbee or throwing a football. Watched folks fish from shore and a lot of parasailing.
"Great trip"
I was at Myrtle Beach a week ago with my family and stayed at a motel we've stayed at for the last 5 yrs and had such rude service we vowed not to stay again. This trip was just my husband and I and we stayed at the Palace. Everyone was super nice, from the ladies at the counter to the ladies at the breakfast to housekeeping. Our suite was super clean and very nice. Will definitely consider staying here again.
"Right price Right Place"
Staff was excellent from Ty and Ebony(manager) to Barbara on the breakfast line to Shania (one of the housekeepers). Our family of 8 stayed in 2 oceanfront rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, close proximity to the ocean and pools and the helpfulness of all the staff. There have been several comments about the sluggishness of the elevators but we found the brief "elevator wait" to be an excellent opportunity to chat with fellow guest that had traveled from all over the country to enjoy Myrtle Beach and specifically this hotel. Would definitely recommend it.
"Great mini vacation"
My family and I spent a few days at The Palace Resort. We got a great deal on a room. The staff was very courteous and took care of all our needs. The room clean and comfortable (blinds were dusty and windows/window seals dusty and dirty). But, everything else was fine. We also had a great view from the room. We felt very safe,as there was a great security presence on the grounds. Wonderful pools/hot tubs. I would recommend and definitely return!

The room was clean and maintenance did an awesome job providing us with anything we needed. There were wonderful pools, spas and other amenities plus easy access to the beach. The view of the ocean was awesome. I was very impressed with the security and making sure everyone was safe and out of the pools when storms came. They did an awesome job keeping their guest safe and happy. They have a noise ordinance which made the stay at night very quite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a place to stay."
