"Great family place!"
Our daughter and her kids spent a night here and wished they could stay longer! They had a full, well-equipped kitchen, two queen beds and a sofa that made into a bed. The pool was nice, and management has adopted three little kittens that delighted the children--they were allowed to play with the kittens in a safe, fenced-in area with chairs for the grown-ups. There is also a lovely liana type seating area overlooking the pool, with fans to help cool you off. For the price, it was a great deal. The people who run it are very nice.

We stayed a week in July and we were very happy with the accommodations. It was just my husband and myself but there were many families. We had a class at the upscale Omni hotel and I would take Park Lane any day over that overpriced hotel. The hotel is centrally located on the island so a quick bike or car ride and you are at the beach. We loved the flavored waters on hand and the hotel was clean and staff were friendly.
"A quick stay"
We stayed here one night until we could get into our villa the next day. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel could use some updating but our room was spacious, had a full kitchen & the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was nice & the staff was very friendly.

"Southern Charm"
It is an older hotel, but very charming. Rooms were a nice size. Clean. Staff was good. Nice pool and shady spots to rest. Wish the bathroom was bigger and had 2 sinks. It's difficult for a family of four to get ready with one sink. Everyone enjoyed the complimentary breakfast! Nice size room overall. Loved the kitchenette. Convenient location on the island. Quiet rooms! We all slept great!
"Park Lane Hotel and Suites"
It was very clean. Was upgraded to a loft suite. Very spacious, Kitchen was large and had plenty of dishes, all you need. Staff was friendly. Plenty of parking and close to everything you need. 2-3 miles from the beach. The breakfast was an assortment of cereals, choc. milk, 2 flavors of bagels, waffles to heat in toaster, yogurt,and oatmeal and grits to make. Also a few other items.
"Comfortable Stay"
I was at the Park Lane Hotel and Suites on a business trip. I did not book the hotel, but was very pleased to stay there! The front desk staff changed my room to a ground floor since I had quite a bit of bulky baggage to unload. Room was large, and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of room to park the various bags, and both a small table and wet bar where work could be done on the computer. Since this was a suite, there was a refrigerator, stove, microwave, etc. I did not stay long enough to use the cooking equipment, but it would have come in handy if I had been able to hang around long enough to use the kitchen. The breakfast was extensive, but the breakfast area was crowded both times I went there. It was easier to take the breakfast items back to my room. Did not get to use the pool, though the water looked inviting as the temperature was very hot the weekend I stayed! Thank goodness the a/c in the room worked very well and kept the room cool and comfortable.
"Park Lane is clean and friendly place to stay"
Park Lane is a nice place to stay. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating. The hotel room had a kitchenette which was great since we took kids along and served lunches in our room. While our room seemed a little outdated it was clean. No bugs. There were quite a few guests the week we stayed but it was surprisingly quiet. We rented bikes from Hilton Head Bicycle Company and they were delivered within an hour of my call. There was a free breakfast each day which consisted of the usual continental breakfast items. Free coffee in the lobby 24 hrs. Park Lane is not close to the beach. We drove to beach and other activities due to the location. We have stayed at Park Lane several times and recommend to others who don't mind being so far from the beach.
"We had a great stay!!"
We enjoyed our stay at Park Lane..We had the loft suit.., the rooms were very clean and we had plenty of room for all 4 of us..the kitchen had everything we needed..the pool area was very nice the pool was very clean and it was nice that they gave out beach towels..Breakfast was decent and the staff kept every thing full..if I had any complaints it would be that the loft is stuffy at night..keeping the air low caused the downstairs to be cold and even with the ceiling fan on the loft was warm..maybe a small fan would help other than that we loved it we will be back again..your employees do a wonderful job...
"Vacation and research trip"
My husband and I went for a few days and also were looking for a place while we were there... The Park Lane Hotel was the perfect location, as we were close enough to walk to Starbucks and just minutes drive from Coligny Plaza and the shops... And the beaches!

Set in among the moss laded trees, lots of parking, great free breakfast, short drive to beach, very nicely landscaped, large well kept pool, nice suites, rooms inside, with elevator, need key card to get in, so we felt safe.

We went for our second time as a family . The first time we had the 2 story this time one story bottom level. Very nice has a full kitchen. We love the pool area and deck area. Very quite and parking right infront of room. Easy to unload and load. The 2 story was a little nicer as it had 2 bathrooms so know one was fighting over it.

Have never been to Hilton Head and was looking forward to a pleasant stay. Found this place on line with a great discount price. Only has 38 units/suites and is very family- friendly. 1 mile from a beautiful free public beach with bike rentals, umbrella and chair rentals and cabanna rentals. Has a dog walk and a lot of places for families to gather. The suite includes a frig, full stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave and all dishes, glasses and pans for preparing your own meals. Two beds, a couch, small dining table and kitchen island. Also a balcony. A delicious steak and lobster restaurant right across the street. Post office box right out front. Pool and jacuzzi. Continental breakfast and complimentary Starbucks coffee 24/7. Located 2.5 miles from Harbourtown that has shopping, a lighthouse and many marinas. Will definitely be back even if it is an 11 hour drive for us.
"Penny Lane Park Lane"
My husband and I were there earlier this month celebrating our anniversary. Our room had a very comfortable king-sized bed. There was a full-size refrigerator and stove. Our balcony overlooked a scenic side yard with blooming azaleas and moss-covered trees. I took advantage of the exercise room. The hotels location makes it easy to get to local restaurants, clubs, golfing and the beach. Theres even a restaurant within walking distance. The front desk staff was very friendlyanswering all our questions about local happenings. The continental breakfast included Starbucks coffee and plenty of fresh fruit. This was our third time there, so we would definitely recommend it.
"Great for the Price!"
We went to Hilton Head for a 2 night stay and we were very satisfied with our room accommodations. The beds are huge, the room comes with a sofa, kitchen area with microwave, fridge and stove - you pretty much bring food and you are all set. All of the appliances are full size so the fridge and freezer actually keep your food cold and you can eat something other than a microwaved meal. Towels were replenished and our room was thoroughly cleaned each day. We were not able to visit the pool due to rain and lightning but the pool and jacuzzi seemed popular with other guests. Breakfast was better than average with a good assortment of bagels, cereals and Starbucks coffee. It's not a hot meal but some chains take the term 'continental breakfast' a bit far so fluffy bagels get high marks in my book. Security was good - the entrance doors were locked at all times of the day so a guest key is needed to access the building. We were not able to see our vehicle from our room so that was a challenge but we had no issues or damage. I would give it higher marks if I experienced the pool and jacuzzi but even without it, we had a very pleasant stay.
"Nice place to stay"
We had a studio apartment. Everything was fine. Kitchen utilities were a little sparse but serviceable. Pool and hot tub were good. Breakfast every day was almost all carbs, but they did have Starbucks coffee was available. You need to drive to beach - which in April parking wasn't a problem, don't know what it would be like in high season. Nice restaurant in walking distance.

We stayed at Park Lane over spring break. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was great and woked very hard to keep the facilities clean. The breakfast was good and replenished frequently. Those girls worked hard. Would return.
