We have a condo in St. Beach but we love the atmosphere and staff at the resort so much that we spend one weekend every trip at the resort. The staff is friendly and remembers us by name on most visits. Victor Ortiz...at the pool area as well as the s’mores staff and cabana area are always so pleasant and helpful. There are many nights I sit at the pool working on my laptop while my kids swim and victor stops multiple times to check if i need anything!! Great people, great music and an awesome experience

"Outstanding Staff!"
This was our first visit to the Outpost and it was a memorable experience mostly because of the outstanding friendliness and professionalism shown by all of the hotel staff that we came in contact with. The Rum Fish Restaurant was excellent and our servers Capt. Jenny and Tamika did a fantastic job of taking care of us. The food was excellent and we left well fed and satisfied. The folks at Guy's Gulfside Grill were wonderful, hats off to Shelly, and Mary for a job well done. Rachael at the Beach Bar was courteous and friendly. We will be back again soon.

Spent a night here with children & grandchildren. Good accommodations, lots for kids to do, great beach. Would definitely come back. Older resort but clean & well maintained. Had a 2 bed & sofa suite that was very comfortable for five of us (2 children).

The outdoor bar area is nice on weather-friendly days. The area around the bar is appointed with nice outdoor furniture. The service is excellent as are the food and drinks. Live music- we were entertained by a musician playing guitar and singing- accompanies the area. One also can choose to eat inside which has a beautiful saltwater lighted aquarium comprising one wall.
"The experience from start to finish!"
I went along as the spouse of a conference attendee. At guest check-in, Marlo found out that we were a couple and checked to see if she could find us a special room as most people checking in were just 'room mates'. She found us a beautiful room overlooking the beach, pool and tiki bar with a whirlpool tub! Her enthusiasm was unexpected and contagious! The room was very nice but the second morning there we had electrical problems. The front desk sent an engineer up within minutes to reset a breaker and all was well until the end of the day when we came back to the room to find the electrical problem again. The staff immediately sent up David Morris who fixed the problem again and told us that if it happened again that they would need to call an electrician and move us to another room. We called him back within five minutes when the power went out for a third time and he immediately responded with an apology, new room keys to the same type of room a few floors up and two free dining tickets to the Flying Bridge restaurant! Even though it was a minor inconvenience to pack up and move to another room, David exceeded our expectations! We found the staff at both properties (The Tradewinds included) to be courteous and engaging. I would recommend the Rumfish to anyone visiting the area. Because of the timing, we witnessed the company giving out free turkeys to all of their staff members just before the 2016 Thanksgiving holiday. The company obviously cares about their customers and their employees! To me, that's a winning combination for a successful company! Lastly, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the wonderful dining experience we had at the RumFish Restaurant. We didn't have reservations upon arrival but was seated quickly very close to the incredible 33,000 gallon aquarium where we enjoyed fine dining our first evening there. Thank you.
"Rumfish"
This was a fantastic getaway weekend. We were lucky enough to stay in the Tarpon Penthouse. All the staff was very nice. From the checkin to the bell hop, all were very friendly. The restaurants on property and near by were wonderful. The Rumfish Tradewinds is hard to beat. I would go back anytime.
"Great beach and friendly staff"
This is a great place for couples or a family trip. Being able to use the sister property provides all of the dining and activity options that you could possibly want. The Rumfish is a little more laid back while the Tradewinds had more activities for the kids. The beach areas at both properties were very clean and nice. The use of and advance reservation system for the cabanas on the beach eliminated the normal hassle of having to get there early or else finding chairs with nothing but a towel or book all day. There were two pools. The main one for everyone and a separate pool and hot tub area for adults.

Just spent a week at the Rumfish. Wow! It's hard to believe that the hotel can still manage to get better each time I visit. "Continuous Improvement" !!! I am delighted to see that the Rumfish continues to find ways to provide outstanding customer service. I have been a guest for 16 years. I absolutely love my home away from home and love the staff. I am so happy to come back each time and see the familiar faces greet me. I am retired now and visit several times a year. This visit was in October and the weather was beautiful. I'm already looking at airfare for my next visit. Mike the chef at the Grill made an amazing grilled grouper with fresh spinach. I had to personally compliment the chef it was fantastic!!!

Outstanding. Staff is one of the nicest and friendliest I have seen on a long time. From our check in with Diana to check out with Lisa. Both amazing. Jordan at guys gulf side grille to the entire staff of Rumfish and their food and wonderful weekend. Thank you all and I will come back
"Happy with our stay"
Three girlfriends went for a trip and had a good stay. The staff around every corner was repeatedly kind, courteous and offering help. They genuinely wanted our stay to be good. The facility itself could use some updates and definitely need a bit of cosmetic maintenance. That being said, the resort has a great variety of things to do right there. Beach with free cabana, free water slide, pools (one adult only), restaurant, bars, etc. The main point that would cause me to come back are the amenities and staff!! We stayed in a suite with kitchenette which kept our food cost down. (No oven in ours, but did have a stove, fridge and microwave) Close trolley stop nearby along with many great restaurants within walking distance.
"Awesome Stay and Heather was amazing!"
A bunch of family members and myself stayed at the Rumfish hotel this past weekend. We were there for a wedding and the staff was very accommodating, especially Heather! She was great serving us drinks at the Bach bar at night, then fueling up our days with coffee! She was great!!!
