"Nice vacation on a great hotel"

Had a great time playing a lot of volley ball with my family. Good was great. Yeah hoy squad was awesome and especially Abdul and Walter. I recommend everyone to come here and enjoy the great hospitality.

We had a great time in mazatlan, the port was great. Our family went to durango which is avout 2 hours away and also had a good time. We also liked how they had activities and the workers are very nice and respectful. Especially dalice and monse they were very kind and outstanding. We really recommend everything.

I liked the hotel especially since it was close to the beach and there was a big pool. The food was also very good and tasty. But the one thing I could say is that the activities staff Joy squad are awesome. They had great activities and lots of entertainment in the pool. Especially the girls dalice and Alexandra were very helpful. Thanks girls

Great vacation me and my family had a great time. It's a small place but with lots to do especially with the joy squad they are awesome. Especially Dalice and Rafa they made our day everyday. They have volleyball tequila, ping pong and much more

It was a beautiful place to stay, I had lots of fun. There was always a lot of stuff to do down by the pool. Ana from the joy squad was amazing! Every time I saw her she made me smile. The other joy squad members were ok too.
"2016 UDB vacation"
Took vacation with 5 other couples. We were the only couple with a child. Resort was great for all of us. Very friendly and for adults and had accommodations for children. We went fishing one day and the chef prepared our catch for the evening meal. Easy access to the city tourist areas via local open air cab. We ventured out several times. The on site restaurant was excellent especially the breakfast buffet. We walked the beach for a couple of different off site restaurants which offered a variety of menus options. Imperial Shrimp was my favorite. Their pool area was very relaxing and not overcrowded although we went during Lent which as I understand it was there slow time. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would go back in a heartbeat!
"Vacations in Mazatlan"
The hotel was awesome we had a great time with all the activities staff! We played volleyball and tequila volleyball at the beach and pool. The karaoke with Walter was great also, it would be better if it was at the lobby. We also played soccer with Katya and dalice! We hope to come back next year
"Some construction underway, but still a good place to go"
We're at the Sea Garden every November, but this year the pool is the cleanest it's ever been thanks to new staff. Half of it is closed off during construction and the noise is sometimes loud, but there's another pool to use and the beach is there, also. The food at the restaurant is good and the service is terrific - we enjoyed every meal we ate there. In general, the friendliness of the staff and the good location make up for any inconvenience caused by the construction, which should be done in February.
"Pleasantly Surprized"
The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent . Gardens, grounds and pools are very well kept. The lobby, restaurants and amenities have all been updated and renovated . The suites are dated however large , very clean and so nice to have a kitchen. It would of been more enjoyable if we were offered free wifi and flatscreen TV's with satellite. Like to recognize Armando , Raul, Christian and Antonio for their excellent service and friendship during our dining times.
"Sittin in the sun"
We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Garden. It was far from downtown with not much traffic. As indicated by other reviewers, the rooms are a bit dated but spotless. Everything worked so no complaints. Elizabeth, our maid left lovely flowers of tissue in the dining area and in the bathroom. The staff is very friendly. Everyone speaks when you walk past them. The pool bar waiters were fun and helpful. We enjoyed the "daily special" drinks and food was good. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant was particularly good. By the end of 2 weeks we felt quite at home. The grounds are beautiful. There are restaurants at the end of the road that are reasonable. Can get there walking the beach also. Very safe.
"Relaxing on the beach, the food, the people, all fantastic!!!"
Great vacation! Can't wait to come back. The staff were welcoming, the food was fabulous, and the Sea Garden was right on the beach! The service was great and the people were all friendly. At first we had a backside room, but after a day, we were moved to a beach front room, very accommodating. The activities directors were all very enthusiastic and fun. This resort I highly recommend!
"Great time"
Recently just returned home after a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Mayan Sea Garden hotels. We were right on the beach (which I love!!) and about a 15 minute drive from downtown although we didn't go downtown since the hotel had perfectly fine accommodations for food and any other necessities we may have needed. The room itself was quaint but the staff and food were absolutely wonderful, we had dinner at the restaurant every night and each plate was wonderful. I left with new friends Dalice, Edna, Walter and more. I would love to return again! Everyone was so friendly and nice, it made our experience fantastic.
"Best visit yet!"
We go to the Sea Garden every November, and I've written several reviews of it before. But this year was different - they took a lot of suggestions that guests have made in the past and the place is now delightful! The restaurant has a nice variety of good food - some of it is expensive, but it's possible to find cheaper things, too. The service is great and the waiters are super-friendly. The new addition of a deli is nice - there's wifi that's free with a coffee or pastry, which makes a huge difference for travelers. Also, the activities staff has finally, after many years, got it right. The music around the pool is varied (not techno all day any more) and set at a pleasant level, and there are lots of good activities - from card games and bingo to cooking lessons, mixology classes, and karaoke and films at night. This was a delightful visit and I'd highly recommend this resort!

We especially liked how the sliding window opened all the way and you could experience the sound of theocean. The location and amenities were wonderful. Being on the ocean was great and the beach was beautiful. The atmosphere was great and we loved the restaurant. Jesus the waiter at the pool gave us great service. We dislike the sales pitch the most.

"Treated like royalty by all staff members"
Their 5-Star rating is a hint of what to expect: perfect in every way from accommodations & food quality to personal attention to guests by all staff members. Special thanks to Mario Tiznado (Chief Concierge) who was able to find tours to replace ones cancelled by heavy rains and to Jesus Osuna (Pool Bar) who was able to keep us "refreshed" while taking advantage of the cleanest outdoor pool relaxation we've seen at any resort. Public bus service into downtown is quite easy (just tell returning bus drivers where to stop when you board--they will remember). We would not hesitate going back...one week's stay was not enough to enjoy all that can be seen.
