"Excellent hotel"
Nice place to stay. Very friendly employs. We will return. A lot of parking space. Near the the hotel a lot of restaurant. Not far from international drive an a nice area for walking or jogging. Plan you next stay to Extended Stay America.
"excellent, location, staff, rooms and hotel."
Just back had a fantastic 2 week stay with my wife and15 year old son. The staff could not do enough for you, a special shout out to Jeanette, Steven, Ramon and Monique. Pleasant rooms recently refurbished, spacious enough to accommodate 2 queen size beds and small kitchen. Towels can be exchanged on a daily basis from reception and no need to take pool towels as small towels are provided at the pool.Grab to go breakfast did the job first thing in the morning - always plentiful. The pool was a must and extremely inviting after a busy day (you could sun bathe until 7:30pm) 2 Barbeques available should you wish to cook outside. And no need to return with dirty clothes as an excellent laundry room on site too, which also houses an ice machine and vending machine. The hotel is in an excellent central location for hitting I Drive, the outlets, malls and parks. Close to restaurants and pubs and Pointe Orlando so no need to hire a car if you are not keen on driving on the right hand side. Bus stop 2 mins walk if no car. Excellent car parking on site, voucher given FOC on first day for you to display on your dash to prevent vehicle being towed. For excellent food and drink Millers Ale House is a MUST. Huge sports bar, child friendly showing American sports and British football. If buying theme park ticket, speak to the company who sell them on site - good deals hard to beat.
We have been to Orlando many times and would not consider staying anywhere else. Thanks everyone for making our holiday perfect. Hope to see you next year.
"One of the BEST in the International Drive area"
As a local resident of Orlando I typically don't seek to stay in the tourist area of International Drive however we wanted to stay close to the Convention Center as we attended MegaCon this year. Extended Stay on Universal Drive, just behind the main street of Int'nl Drive gives you a bit of calm respite while still keeping you close to the center of all that happens on this most attraction laden part of Orlando. Universal a short drive nearby as well, with Disney only a short drive down Interstate 4 (West).
The hotel itself has a stellar and welcoming staff, the free breakfast bar is decent and there is a concierge where you can purchase tickets for a variety of attractions- see them early in the day though as they close at 3pm (or there abouts). The rooms are ample and family friendly as well as comfortable for couples. We had our small terrier with us and he felt right at home. Water pressure in the shower's great and appliances in the kitchenette were clean and in working order. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel for its value, rooms and professional and courteous staff. My husband and I are coffee drinkers and the desk clerk, Monique, very kind to hand us several packets for our in-room coffeemaker. Though we didn't stay long enough to experience the talents of the cleaning staff, we did observe them at work in other rooms and they too were professional and though we were merely passing by they said "Hello" and wished us a pleasant day. Hope this review helps some of the many out-of- town guests Orlando hosts throughout the year! Happy travels!
"Great Room, Great Price"
Some buddies and I stayed here for three nights in March for MegaCon. The room was huge and was easily big enough for all 5 of us. The kitchen area was bigger than expected and was very useful in saving more money by not eating out every night. But when we did want to go out the hotel was within walking distance to a lot of nice eateries such as the Brickhouse Pub and Tavern and Don Pablos to name some. This is also a great place to stay if going to the Orlando Convention Center as it is less than a 15 minute leisurely walk away. I mention the places to walk as both I-Drive and Universal Blvd are very busy roads and not the best place to drive around if you can avoid it. I will be using this Extended Stay America again for next years MegaCon.
"Value for money"
When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a really warm welcome by Steph and Ramon the manager. It was just what you need after travelling.
The rooms are basic but clean small kitchen area 2 ring hob, microwave, and toaster, but I felt really not needed due to the continental breakfast which there is plenty of.
If I have needed anything Ramon or Steph were always there to help in fact all the staff were helpful we decided to stay longer & Monique made all the arrangements for us.
The laundry room was well equipped and good quality.
Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants value for money clean and close to the theme parks wet & wild.
Thank you Ramon for looking after us.
"Great value!"
Excellent hotel, very good value for money. Comfortable and clean room, looks renovated. Kitchen was neat and functional. Location was good as well, although not to close to parks. I would recommnend it.
"Good location, excellent employees and good service!"
It was my first time at the Extended Stay America - Convention Center and I had a really good experience. Although they dont clean the rooms everyday, it remained clean for most of the time. Anything you need, just ask at the front desk and the employees will help you out. All of them very polite and very helpful. I had more contact with Steph, Gary and the manager, Ramon, and they were great to me and my wife.
There are many good restaurants and stores in the hotel area. Since its near the convention center, its a tourist area, so its very safe.
We had a great time.
"Great stay"
My husband and I stayed in the Extended stay on Int drive for two weeks last July and it was brilliant! Great location, south on Int drive so away from all the hustle and bustle. We found the apartment very clean and tidy and the staff were so helpful.
Our suite included a small kitchen area which was fitted with everything we needed, a dining area, a lounge area, bedroom area with a seperate changing room and bathroom. Plenty of space to unpack and relax for a fortnight.
Everynight we could catch Seaworlds firework display from our window. The pool was a good size and in a great sunny spot. The I-drive stop is right out side the place and it takes a matter of minutes to get to the busier parts of International drive.
I would recommend anyone who is experiencing Florida to consider the extended stay.
"Third stay third different name"
As the title says third visit third name but exactly the same top class service from the staff and the same excellent rooms no fuss handy for international drive and Universal Studios. Good selection at the free breakfast. Pool was nice and clean.
"awesome experience"
very nice, kitcken included what?? this is awesome. everything perfect. I had an awesome time. I will come back. the only thing I did not like is that they dont clean your room every day. But besides that everything is perfect. the room is big with a lit living room a lit kitchen a bathroom and your bed. I wish I could stay there living for life lol.

"Great Value, Even Better Than Expected"
The staff was very friendly and helpful right from the start. The room was very spacious, with a useful kitchenette (including full sized fridge, microwave, two burners, and a dishwasher), king bed, eating area, pull-out couch, and bathroom with separate sink area.
The location is pretty close to restaurants and other attractions in the area, although a bit of a walk to the convention center (about 20 minutes or so).
"Grab and Go" breakfast was included but was basic: Bread for toasting, four varieties each of cereal and oatmeal, apples, bananas, yogurt, juice, coffee, milk, and pastries (although some items went quickly so you may need to arrive early). However, there are kitchen facilities in all rooms, so you can do your own breakfast if you choose.
The only suggestion I would have is for the hotel to include a few items such as facial tissues, shampoo and conditioner, dish soap, and a better cutting knife. They are happy to provide extra little things upon request, but would be nice to be included in-room.
I would definitely stay here again, whether by myself on business or with my family. The price was very reasonable, and you can save a lot of $ if you choose/prefer to make some of your own meals.
"Smooth Sailings"
Booked a room for a convention in town. Found this hotel to be in the heart of the amenities of the area along with being on transit routes for travel. When asked staff provided all needed amenities along with information of the area. I would definitively stay here again based on staff, location and value for dollar achieved at this hotel.
"Great Place"
Booked room for a convention held at the Orange County Convention Center.
Very warm welcome at check-in. I was pleasantly surprised when I first walked in the room: good layout, comfortable size for 2 people, (2 closets so we did not have to share or be in each other way when getting dressed in the morning). Also, a sitting area with full couch and coffee table, a desk, kitchen with fridge, and pleasantly decorated. Room was clean and plenty of towels for our 2 day stay. Location was perfect for us: easy to catch the i-Ride and restaurants within walking distance. One of nicest places I have stayed for a conference in a long time!
Rainy and cold the weekend we were there so we did not even take a look. My colleague did use the grab and go breakfast. I used the kitchen to make my tea and oatmeal.
I do not usually take time to write reviews but this place was great for the price and my purpose for this stay.
"Good value"
This property was recently renovated and the room was bigger than we expected. For the price we paid, it was an excellent value. Clean and spacious. Located around International Drive with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Quite close to Universal Studios and about 20 minutes from Disney. The breakfast was simple, but nice. Toast, cereal, fruit, coffee and juice was available. The lobby also sells attraction tickets. We wanted to buy Disney tickets but the hotel said they didn't receive a discount on the type we wanted. They do for other attractions, so be sure to check with them and price compare. Staff was incredibly friendly as well.
"great location"
We have stayed at Extended Stay, many times. the first being when it was known as Serra Suites, and than as Extended Stay Deluxe, and now as Extended Stay America. We have always found the accommodation very good and the Staff just EXCELLENT. WE stayed for two weeks from the 8th January - 22nd January 2014. All we can say is it is value for money just of the International Drive. The pool and spa was very good and well heated, complimentry breakfast was basic but every body seemed to use it, so no complaints as you only get what you pay for.
Regarding cleaning, you was told the days that this was to be done, if you needed towels to be changed, all you had to do was go to the front desk. (Again no problem.)
My wife and I, always use Extended Stay, for our first two weeks in Orlando, and then we travel of to Gulf for the next two weeks of our holiday.
Our gratulations to the well run accommodation and the staff.
"Excellent value for the price"
We enjoyed our stay here and for the cost, it was a spectacular value. It was within walking distance (2-5 min walk) from a large assortment of restaurants and was central to Universal, Disney, & SeaWorld (our destination). The room was clean and a good size included two double/queen beds and a large sofabed. I can't say enough about the staff who were very friendly and eager to help, even when there were a lot of folks checking in at once. There is a pool and laundry area which was nice and a decent continental breakfast in the morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back.
"Excellent location - recommend"
The hotel is located "in the heart" of orlando. Close to good restaurants on international drive and with easy access to interstate 4 (main highway for access to parks), north to (universal, outlet's) Southern to (disney, sea world, down town, outlet's). As the traffic there is wonderful, usually no more than 15 minutes north or south. The hotel staff is very helpful. I would emphasize the care of "Janete-reception", who always treated me and my wife with much attention and affection.
""good localization""
The rooms are comfortable, but the hotel doesn't look completly clean. Is a crear localizacin. The complementary breakfast is the same everyday. During my stay the housekeeping never cleaned my room. The staff were ver y friendly.
"Great place to stay with the family"
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2014
Almost perfect... I did not like the breakfast area and garbage being taken out to the hallways . Location is great ( close to International Drive) , rooms are large, shuttle to the Disney parks is a big plus.
