"Beautiful Property - Right In The Heart Of The Dells"
We were in town for a large volleyball tournament. We are BIG Marriott people and were glad there was a property right in the heart of the Dells. The pictures online are exactly as you see them in person. Very clean, very modern and that's just the lobby.
The rooms are quite spacious. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are big as well. The rooms have a nice walk in closet with plenty of storage room in there. The sofa is a nice touch in the living area as well as a nice desk. They have a nice fridge area with a microwave.
The property has two good working elevators and plenty of ice machines. Nice sized fitness room and a pool big enough to do some laps or the smaller kids to get a swim in.
The breakfast they serve is excellent. They do not skimp. Great selection, hot food, good breads, coffee, juice and on and on. Including two waffle makers and a big common area to enjoy it.
If I were to find a negative for the property, I do not like where the TV is placed because if you have the two room suite, the far bed has trouble seeing it and hearing it. And the other thing I'm not a fan of is the frosted sliding door to the bathroom. It's right near the bed so when it's dark and family is sleeping, once you turn the light on in the bathroom, the light shines through pretty bright.
But in the big scheme of things, not a big deal. A very nice, clean and excellent property to spend some family time in.
I think you'll be happy you selected this property....its a good pick.
"Wonderful"
Loved staying here. Just over a year old and very modern. Staff was super friendly. Comfortable beds and spacious room. We were supposed to stay at the Chula Vista and checked out after one night and headed here
"College reunion"
We had a fantastic visit at the suites! The room was perfect, quiet and the sleep was great! ❤The rooms are so stunning! Six friends used the beautiful Lobby area to visit and play cards! The breakfast was excellent and well stocked. The staff was very knowledgeable. They knew the best places for specific food and knew how to get to various points of interest! We had a family emergency and had to leave in a hurry the second night and the front desk personnel responding quickly to our quick departure . I would definitely stay there again for our next college get together!
"Family getaway"
This was my first stay at the Springhill Wisconsin Dells location but I have stayed at Springhill's across the US and have always loved them. This hotel is very new so of course it looked great.
Check in: Was fine. It was disappointing, however that the front desk staff never acknowledged by Marriott rewards status. Other than that - she was friendly and efficient.
Room: The room was great. Clean. I love the Springhill rooms as they are all Suites and spacious and well laid out. The living area was big enought for 6 of us to sit around and relax and chat. The in room refrigerators and coffee stations are nice to have. Bathroom is well laid out and clean. The shower is a nice size.
Lobby: The lobby is nicely decorated and has a ton of space for sitting. there were large groups there for a baseball tournament and there was plenty of space for people to sit and wait for others.
Breakfast: The free breakfast is served in the lobby and has plenty of hot dishes, fruit, breads, yogurt, juice, waffles and coffee.
Pool area: We didn't use it but it looked nice and well kept.
Location: This hotel is located about 2 blocks away from Mt. Olympus and would be within walking distance in good weather. It's across the street from Tommy Bartlett show. Great location right in the middle of the Dells
"Weekend Winter Getaway"
We planned a weekend winter getaway to Wisconsin Dells to include a visit to the Ice Castle exhibit and celebrate a family birthday. I checked around for hotels and knew that we did not want to stay at a hotel that had a waterpark. I came across the SpringHill Suites and decided that this would be the perfect place. It was a great place to stay! I am so glad that Marriott has added this hotel to the overflow of places that include waterpark-these were perfect when our children were small, but now that we are all adults, we prefer a little slower, quieter place! I was also happy to see that they are adding a Fairfield Inn right next to this one as another option for a quick weekend getaway. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. We are looking to book rooms at your Ft. Myers location for our spring break vacation in March!
"Awesome Hotel!"
We are a family of 4 with two teenagers so we always try to find a room that allows a rollaway or has a sleeper sofa if possible. This hotel provided exactly that and the room was amazing. It had plenty of space! The bathroom was modern and spacious as well as the room having a full size walk in closet. Location centralizes it to all of what the Dells has to offer. Breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast but the person running it kept it stocked and clean and my daughter loved all of the options to add to her waffles, especially the chocolate chips! The front desk service was okay, we didn't interact with them too much but the person that checked us in was nice. Check out, was okay as well, she wasn't overly friendly but was far from rude. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay. Great hotel! Modern and clean!
"Wonderful Hotel Wonderful Service!!"
We had a wonderful stay at the Springhill Suites in beautiful Wisconsin Dells; all which could have gone sour very quickly if not for the kindhearted and knowledgable gentlemen working the late night shift at the front desk.. we had a beautiful room- everything was brand new and the bathroom was spectacular; we enjoyed a little gambling at the local casino; and the gentleman at the front desk arranged a shuttle to and from the for us.. as we waited for the shuttle to arrive this gentleman told us a little about the construction of the hotel and that local craftsman had done the wood working and would also be doing so at the hotel being built next door.. we arrived back at the hotel around 2 am, and we were greeted by the same gentleman that had sent us off.. we were ready to turn in; as i had mention the room was emmaculatn and clean; we had a wonderful well deserved nights rest and had a wonderful continental breakfast; and were ready to start our long trip home when our car would not start; we again saw the gentleman from the front desk getting into his vehicle; instead of going on with his day he had stopped to ask my husband how our stay had been; when we explained to him that our car wasnt starting; after quite a wait in the fridged wisconsin weather the gentleman jump started our car and explained to us that we had left the lights on.. He refused to take the cash we had offered him/ and left us with a smile and a wave; we had a wonderful stay at the marriot and alot of fun. Its nice to know there are still people out there willing to go the extra mile, when they too are cold and ready to go home; I will be recomending this hotel to my friends and we will definetly be staying here again on our next trip to wisconsin dells. Our one regret was not catching the genltemans name in order to at the very least send him a card of thanks; We will hopefully be seeing him again in Febuary, when we stay again.
"NEW Hotel GREAT SERVICE"
Love this hotel I have stayed here two times wish it was available the weekend before Valentines. Me and My girlfriend love this hotel. Brand hotel building a fairfield by Marriott next door. enjoy it.
"New hotel, great location"
The SpringHill Suites is less than a year old and just up the street from Noah's Ark and across the street from Tommy Bartlett Ski Show. Front desk staff was wonderful, very friendly. The rooms and lobby very clean and modern. I'm a Marriott Gold member and this hotel is a great value.
"Very Nice"
This is a very nice hotel right in the heart of Wisconsin Dells! Easy to get in and out of. They feature very nice rooms, which were large and very clean and fresh. They breakfast was good and we enjoyed the service we received there. Overall was a excellent stay!
"Clean hotel and great location"
Big rooms, nice bathroom layout, friendly staff and really clean! Free breakfast. Great location close to all of the action in the Dells. Only negative I would say is the beds are a bit stiff. But overall highly recommend!
"Beautiful furnishings"
Stayed here with 2 teens we came here shopping for hunters widow weekend. Everthing inside is beautiful, sliding door to the bathroom, bathroom lights (which the girls immediately said was perfect for selfies), sink, couch, carpet, lobby etc. Tthey do not have a hot tub, but we enjoyed the warm pool & excercise room. When I went to open the fridge the entire thing moved, did they not secure it? This motel just opened in spring, it still smells like new carpet in the hall. The lady that checked us in was very friendly, the older very dyed blonde that checked us out however did not want to make any conversation. When I asked what was being built next door she said a Fairfield Inn, when I said that's great another Marriott she did not even acknowledge that I spoke. Seemed she was there for the paycheck & nothing more. I am really glad Marriott is finally in the dells as the town was being taken over by a local water park with their own motels. I stay in the dells several times & will surely be back here. Location is across the road from the Tommy Bartlett exploratory and summer waterski show.
"Very nice hotel"
This is our second time staying at the SpringHill suites and this is fast becoming our hotel of choice when we find ourselves visiting the dells area. Check in was a breeze and the entire staff are very friendly and accommodating. We would especially like to comment on the improvement of the breakfast buffet since the last time that we where there. They hired a new chef named Tammy who has certainly improved the complimentary breakfast 100 percent. Everything you could expect was offered. Eggs Canadian bacon, sausages waffles cereals hot and cold yogurt, muffins, bagels fresh fruit orange juice coffee milk. Everything was fresh and hot and plentiful. Rooms where very comfortable. Very nice stay. Will return
"New design is a great improvement!"
This is the best Springhill Suites in which my husband and I have stayed. The front desk staff, as well as the friendly person taking care of the breakfast area were friendly and helpful. The redesigned bathroom and divider between the sitting area and bed are lovely, with both affording more privacy. So impressed with the large bathroom counter and the ultra-modern basin and faucet. The bed is also moved away from being right on top of the HVAC unit, which really helped.
Everything is new, clean, in perfect working order, and we liked the extra security of a room passkey that only needs to be held to the circle in the door to unlike it. The doors are very heavy, helping with soundproofing. The only noise we heard was from the construction workers of the building right next to the Springhill parking lot, and they didn't begin work until 8 a.m. This is a perfect place for anyone looking for a new, clean, reasonably priced hotel without a water park.
"PERFECTION"
We had a suite that was very clean, comfortable and quiet. This hotel is very convenient to all the tourist sites you will want to visit. Loved the included breakfast with a lot of delicious choices. Don't miss the yogurt in the frig at the breakfast stand, and the oat meal is wonderful. The employees are exceptional. They make you feel very much at home. Also check the lobby area or ask for the discounts on some of the attractions like the Ducks - 25% is a good discount. The Ducks refused to totally honor the discount card and would only give 20%. Better than nothing. Enjoyed this hotel. It's very well run.
"Great place to stay!"
Great place to stay in the Dells! Room was very clean and staff was very friendly. Great hot breakfast in the mornings. Kids also really enjoyed the indoor pool. Pillows are extremely soft, so if you need some support I would recommend bringing your own. Bed was firm, but very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
"Awesome!"
Great place to stay. It is very new. I liked that a lot. It has a very modern layout which I liked and it worked out very good for me and my long stay. The staff was very friendly and I thought they had good dinner recommendations. The nightly rate was great. Also being able to sign the TV into netflix was a nice feature. The muffins were my favorite from the breakfast.
Only problem was I didn't have a network cable to plug my laptop into the network port. I probably could have asked for one, but it would be convenient to have one in the drawer or on the desk. I just used the wifi, just a little slower.
Location is good. It is walking distance from a few places, and is centrally located. Probably just don't want to try and walk to Wisconsin Dells Main Street, it's a little far for that.
"Great stay"
We enjoyed our stay at the SpringHill Suites. The hotel room was a nice and quiet. It was close to all of the attractions. The breakfast was descent. While the breakfast wasn't amazing, it was a nice money saver. The only really downside I have is that the hotel was a bit costly.
"New, modern, clean, convenient"
En route from the Black Hills to Manitowoc, where we intended to take the USS Badger across Lake Michigan the next day, we chose this Marriott property based on Trip Advisor reviews. As stated by others, the hotel is new, clean, and very modern, to the point of being a bit stark. It is very convenient to I90 as well as being close to a number of restaurants. Parking is free and convenient. No king rooms were available (last minute) so we had a room with two queen size beds. Another reviewer mentioned the weird TV set up, wherein it is situated between the sitting area and the sleeping area. However, it is good size and swivels, so we did not find it to be a problem. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the bathroom is a nice size. The breakfast room is very roomy and will appointed, and the complimentary breakfast was at the high end, with some nice additions to the usual things. A nice variety of breads, muffins and bagels, including a lemon glazed pound cake. The usual scrambled eggs, but an interesting looking potato hash with onions and peppers, and an assortment of condiments to kick it up a notch, such as salsa, shredded cheese, etc., and turkey Canadian bacon instead of the usual sausages. The staff were very much in attendance, keeping everything filled and clean.
Several things keep me from rating this a 5. As mentioned by another reviewer, there is no coffee available in the lobby other than at breakfast. Coffee makings in the room only enough for one cup. Only disposable cups in room and at breakfast. No newspapers provided. None of these are a deal breaker in my mind, but do take the rating down a notch.
"Clean and modern"
My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette party and we loved the modern design. Very clean, too. Despite being on one of the busiest streets in the Dells, the hotel was nice and quiet. The staff were friendly, too. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Dells.
