I am staying here at the moment for 2 nights for my girlfriends birthday . The front desk staff was wonderfull. I work at the Residence Inn Downtown Clearwater. Cinay wowed us with amenity it was very nice. Michael , John and David were very friendly and helpful as well. Housekeeping Maria, Marcel and overnight crew were great as well. I got a beautiful upgraded suite. Breakfast staff was friendly and smiling at all times.i had a great stay thank you everyone great hotel and great service. This nine-story hotel houses 73 non-smoking rooms with interior corridors. Warm, dark-wood decor and crisp white bedding with down comforters, custom duvets and high quality linens make for a relaxing atmosphere. "Funeral - Flights canceled - luggage lost"
We were traveling to Tampa/St P for a funeral of my mother in law. We arrived in the lobby of the Marriott St. P/Clearwater hotel at 430am. Our trip started 23hrs prior from Washington DC. The first ice storm of the year resulted in 4 delays and 2 canceled flights along with lost luggage. Needless to say when my family (wife, 16/8/7 year olds) walked into the hotel we were (and probably looked like) a wreck. We were greeted by front desk employee, Sydnee, with a huge smile and complete understanding of our dishevelment. She processed our check in with speed along with every staple a family of 5 would need. She gave us a bag full of items: to name only a few - deodorant, tooth brushes, razors and the most importantly (to my wife and 16 year old) - makeup remover towelettes. After a crappy day she was a fantastic representation of the Marriott brand. We're very thankful she was on shift that morning. Thank you Sydnee. Additional staff to highlight are Cinqeutta in the restaurant and Lois at check out. It seemed like everyone was smiling, happy to help and happy to working for the hotel. We'll be back for sure.

"Nice hotel, close to my office"
Typical Marriott as far as amenities, but the staff is awesome. Check-in and out was easy, wifi was good. Getting out of the hotel onto the main road was a bit of a challenge in the morning. You will need a car (or Uber) if you need to leave the hotel. Not really much within walking distance
"Flawless Experiences"
It's been a long time since I had a flawless experience at a hotel. Especially this past year, either I am getting old and crusty and overly sensitive, or something always manage to annoy me. But this one managed to deliver perfectly. The room was spacious, and everything worked as you expect. The wifi was free with the Marriott, now SPG membership. Even with the lower, base wifi service (apparently there is a faster option for more money) it was faster than most places I've stayed. Because I am always doing routine work I have a pretty good benchmark that this completed my work faster. I haven't seen a bathroom this clean in a long while, and probably never in an hotel that's been opened for a while. The housekeeper managed to fold the three towels (see picture) in a fan shape plus your Kleenex tissue. That should speak volumes to how much attention to detail they put into cleaning the bathroom. The best feature of this hotel is the vestibule they built for the guestrooms outside of the door. Each vestibule access two rooms, which is an additional layer of noise insulation so you couldn't really hear rowdy people in the hall at midnight. This is my favorite hotel this year.
"Comfortable place to stay"
Stayed for 3 nights for the duration of a short business trip. It was what you would want from a hotel when working.....quiet feel to the place although air on a little noisy at times. Breakfast good and food selection fine. Staff friendly....shuttle bus is an excellent resource. Bed comfortable and room clean.
"Nice Marriott!"
Staff very friendly. Rooms nice, and wonderful touch having pairs of rooms behind glass-paned wood doors (so that in entering/exiting your room you open to that mini-hallway rather than directly in hall). Rooms spacious with big window and closet; bathroom very nicely laid out with extra shelves (rare in hotels). The restaurant nice also, and happy hour a good deal. We ate breakfast and dinner also--food good. The burger HUGE and delish, as were the short ribs. Good wine recs. Also the free self-parking a reason we chose this over another property.
"Great hotel, great staff, great bar"
Stayed at this hotel many times on business. They manage Marriott member upgrades very well, concierge lounge for breakfast is perfect and bit more private than the bar for breakfast. very professional front desk personnel that remembers you and know your preferences. I m impressed. If I was to look for a hotel with nice scenery and romande I would not choose this but then I would not stay in this area either... absolutely great for the money you spend plus it has that personal touch that makes the difference!!!
"Good Value and Location"
We try to combine a few days at Tropicana Field with the Rays when we need to go to the Tampa area for business and this spot works well for us - this was our fourth visit. The rooms and lobby appear to have been recently redone with some nice modern touches. The staff is friendly and helpful like at other Marriott properties.
"Very Clean"
My family and I were in town for a weekend of Rays baseball games. All of the hotels in Treasuer Island and downtown St. Petersburg had no vacancy, so we had to stay a little further from the stadium. The hotel is about 20 min from the stadium which is still convenient. We booked our room online the same day as out stay and checked on at 10 PM after the game. The front desk was very friendly and room was more than we expected. The room smelled and looked clean!
"Nicely renovated Marriott at a solid price"
This Marriott looks new but was recently renovated, according to the front desk agent I spoke with. The entrance and lobby are very nice. The restaurant to the left of the lobby is also nice with friendly service, a solid beer selection and tasty food. I got upgraded to a suite, which was awesome and way more than enough space. My only complaint is that despite putting the A/C to 68 degrees, it still felt a little warm. The A/C wasn't turning on as often as I expected it to with such a low temperature. The concierge lounge was also nice with a good breakfast offering. I would definitely stay here again.
"Nice"
I stayed here for several months during the week on business, as I was working in the area. Rooms are clean and kept. The lounge has good food and service is great. All the staff at the front desk are very helpful and friendly.
"Excellent Hotel and Stay"
This hotel is a real jewel. I'm serious. I would go out of my way to stay here again. As a Gold member of Marriott, I travel a good bit and this will now be one of my favorite places. The rooms are fresh, very well appointed, and unique in that they have a separate set of doors for access to the rooms, that really keeps your room exceptionally quiet (there is a separate door to access the two rooms in a suite). The staff were very accommodating and helpful in every way. A storm showed up and one of them lent me her personal umbrella to get to my car and then showed up at the door so I could return it to her. I stayed on the concierge floor and the breakfast offerings were very nice and fresh. And the evening refreshments made the challenging days melt away. Overall, this was an exceptional hotel and stay. i hope they keep up the great work.
"Great Customer Service"
When we arrived, they originally put us in a room with two beds even though we had requested a king only. After calling to the front, they upgraded us to a junior suite, and met us on the new floor with our room keys. We had a much larger room for the same price as the smaller room. Then, when we asked for a late check out the next day, they were fine with it. It is a nice clean hotel that was well worth the price that we paid. It's not close to a lot, but it's not far either, being that St. Petersburg isn't that big.
"Great Hotel!!!!"
The hotel was very clean and the rooms are nice and clean. I didn't notice any hairs in the bed or showers. I love it. I do recommend that they pay attention to worn sheets and covers. I really enjoyed the staff, but you will need transportation to go shopping and for food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's been quite a few months since I've been in the area. I met Jason for the first time who was running the Cafe... Outstanding guy, friendly, great chat and gives the impression he will always go the extra mile... All the staff were great....... Jason? Fantastic!!!! Keep up the great work Big Guy!!!
"Best hotel sleep ever!"
My husband and I were only passing through and stayed a night. We were placed on the 7th floor. It was shockingly quiet. I loved that there was an extra entry door for privacy and security. Our room was nice and cozy. Bed was super comfy. Definitely the best night of sleep I've ever had in a hotel. The shower was really nice but the water come out super hot so be careful. lol We had a mini fridge and a small coffee, tea maker. Would have been nice to have a microwave also. Our view of the city was good. Our window had a ledge where I stretched out like a cat and watched the sunset. Very relaxing. Fitness room was great but the weights need to be upgraded. Having the spa water always available in the lobby was a nice additional touch. We didn't order any food here or receive housekeeping so I can't comment on either. We would definitely stay here again. This is a nice central location in a industrial district which makes it a little more quiet. No noise from the roads.
"Good stay and nice customer service"
Stayed here for 4 nights while attending a conference. The stay overall was great, rooms very clean and all hotel staff friendly. Housekeeping did an excellent job and my room was always very clean, in-fact first time I have tipped housekeeping in a long time I was so impressed. Bar area was nice with reasonable priced beer/drinks compared to many hotel bars. Each night had a drink or two at the bar area and a few appetizers, all good and friendly service. Overall hotel experience was great. One note is if you are part of a group or have limited transportation you have zero options of walking to anything that is remotely close. However hotel offers local shuttle.

"St Petersburg Marriott Clearwater"
We were pleasantly surprised at this Marriott Hotel because of the location and its accessibility to the water front. The staff at the front desk were personable and very informative. The rooms were large and comfortably furnished. They provided a shuttle bus that took you anywhere downtown or to the waterfront and then picked you up. You did not need your car. Parking at the hotel was free. I giggly recommend the Marriott for tireless to this area.
