This resort was big, but quiet and had lots to do. The swimming pool was fab and our 1 bedroom condo was very big, very clean. Would definitely return here. It is in a great location just around the corner from Wal-Mart. Loads of restaurants and shops nearby. Not far from Disney.

"I LOVE your home away from home."
My name is May, My family loved our stay. The friendliness, activities, and the staff was very attentive. The rooms were beautiful. Benjamin at the front desk was extremely helpful in printing my boarding passes on August 22nd at 12am because I had a flight at 6:20am and was nervous about making it ontime. It took me awhile to find the information, but he was very patient, professional and is an all around great guy. I definitely will be returning. Thanks my family needed that.
"Best time ever"
The Star Island hotel offers family fun events through out the week and night time events for both the family or for just adult time. Nightly Karaoke, pool parties, ladies night, family fun and games at the pool (my son won a free sundae) We were never bored.. Plus the rooms are huge, they are super clean, and the staff is wicked friendly.
"Great getaway"
Perfect for a family getaway for Orlando activities. Stay a weekend or stay a week, then visit Disney, or Universal Studios or plenty of attractions on the main road in Kissimmee. Great place during Christmas but boo early.

Everything Is Awesome and beautiful, the customer service es very good, i like this place and i will return in the future, it's close to Disney park and other amenities, I think is good election to travel at Disney world in florida

This was a great trip. Gated community resort. Grounds were very well maintained although we did spot a few snakes... The resort was decent and the rooms were a bit outdated but very comfortable. Kids spent lots of time at the pool. Beautiful waterfall at the pool. Friendly and helpful staff. We're ready to help when requested.
"Simmons Vacation 2016"
The grounds and building are well kept. However being a double owner this time I asked a ground level floor due to some medical issues. We got stuck in the very back of the resort with NO cut through to get to the front desk or pools. We always had to drive up to the front. Also Ice Machine was in our hallway. Hearing ice being dump in cooler at 6 AM isn't pleasant when you are trying to sleep. The umbrella at the pool should be a courtesy unless your break them or steal. The price was high to have one each day. First come first serve...
"Family Time"
Great Stay! The only drawback was the recruiting for the Presentation. We would have purchased The property itself was great and we intend on returning soon. We would have purchased one of the time share options but read some very ad reviews at the Better Business Bureau on Wyndham Resort properties.
"LOVE this place"
I visited star island twice in the last two months. Brought my family one week and had a friends trip for a weekend. I had a wonderful time and had a great experience all across the board from check in to activities to check out. The staff was incredible and the accommodations were exactly what we needed. The activities staff is upbeat and makes it fun for all. The drinks by the pool were a nice addition. Shout out to bartender George who always remembered us and made us feel at home. Thank you for a great time! We will be back again in September for a family reunion!

My wife and I enjoyed staying down there for our honeymoon. It's a nice/ quiet place. Remember it's a resort not a hotel, so food will be on your expense. Other than that it's a lovely place for vacation, honeymoon, and anything else you would like to plan. + it's affordable and its gated. You won't regret it.

Our honeymoon was perfect, Loved the resort i wish we would have booked for more days as there is so much to do inside the resort. They have an activity every day from karaoke to bingo. Activities change everyday.

Three bedroom villas are so nice. Great pool area, fun time! College graduation family party and we had a great time. Staff is nice and tolerant, if your looking for a fun environment with activities where all ages can be involved I high recommend this hotel.
"Great place"
This is a wonderful place for a family getaway. Very spacious and I would go so far as to say immaculately clean. Beautifully decorated rooms. Romantic master. Lots to do as well. Friendly staff. Only downside is that only some buildings have elevators. Also since they've been recently acquired by Wyndham be prepared for the sales pitch to get you to buy timeshare. Don't touch that with a 10 ft pole. In fact, resist the juicy gift offer to attend their sales session and enjoy your time away with your family.
"Wonderful Anniversary get away"
Wonderful stay for anniversary. Will come again. Would of giving 5 stars, but.....Rooms are marked 7o degrees, but actually rooms are preset at 79 degrees and too Hot! Hard to sleep at night with a warm room. Also first stay in 2015 room was exceptional clean, but my 2nd stay in 2016 was not cleaned proper, seemed rushed. Traffic is far to fast in resort.

Lovely stay, but I wish there were more colorful tropical plants on property like in previous years. Pool was perfect temperature. People friendly. Scott the poolside DJ has been there 27 years, nice voice and entertaining. Drinks a little steeply priced.
"Timeshare Vacation"
At first, we were given a two bedroom apt. but the AC was not functioning properly so we were changed (and upgraded at no additional cost) to another two bedroom apt. This one was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were wonderfully appointed; the master br had both a jacuzzi and a separate shower, and the other br had a shower/tub with an additional bathroom just as you entered the apt. Also, there was a separate studio area at the entrance (sitting area w/mini kitchen) which we used as a play area for the grandkids. Our unit also had a porch which overlooked one of the ponds. The internet was great, and the location of the resort was very convenient to drive to all the major attractions.

My family are owners at Star Island and we love it! Great location, friendly staff and beautiful accommodations! We used to stay here every year, and now we try to get there as often as possible. I would definitely recommend this resort. It's a perfect spot in Florida - so close to Disney, Old town, outlet malls and grocery stores!

The 3 of us friends went , had a wonderful time - beautiful rooms, very well appointed. Very clean, personnel were very friendly. Lots to do. Great time was had by all. Had live entertainment in several areas of the property. Very happy visitor. NO complaints.
