We stayed at this hotel for a Dinner Dance and found the staff were very helpful, happy and always prepared to go the extra mile. Over the weekend we used the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. All very clean and pleasant. Dinner on both nights were first class and would recommend this hotel to everyone. Looking forward to return next year.

We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

Over the weekend we used the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.all very clean and pleasant. Dinner on both nights were first class and would recommend this hotel to everyone. "Excellent stay."
Hotel is first class. Service, accommodation and food were excellent. Staff are a credit to the company, friendly, efficient and professional. Bar and restaurant service were fantastic and food was delicious. Highly recommend it.
"excellent hotel"
I've stayed there twice and planning to stay there again this year sometime as I really enjoy the staff the food and everything round about it esp a trip to Perth and Bannockburn as there is a lot of history about these place's and also the spa, gym, swimpoool, are amazing
"Nice Hotel in the centre of Stirling"
We stayed for two nights in December. Its a really nice hotel in the centre of Stirling with the shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel was very near Stirling castle although we didn't visit. It also had an excellent fitness centre.
"Interesting hotel in a great location"
This hotel is located in the center of Stirling, halfway up the hill between the shopping area and the castle. It is located in an old school building and even has an astronomical observatory on the roof (which unfortunately I didn't have time to visit). We had a "superior room" which was a decent size and came with a complementary bottle of wine. The room had a comfortable double bed, a small table and a couple of chairs. The bathroom was functional but pretty basic and could have done with an upgrade. We didn't eat in the hotel but we did have a couple of drinks in the bar which was quite cosy.
"Lovely hotel"
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, rooms and all areas very clean, staff lovely. Nice spacious rooms. so central shops etc within walking distance on issue is steep hill. This hotel was previously a school so have a bit of character.
"Overnight stay"
Hotel is in centre of Stirling with easy access to shops and castle. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The room was spacious ,comfortable and clean. There was plenty of parking onsite. I would definitely recommend a stay in this hotel to anyone visiting Stirling.
"Fabulous location!"
We stayed here for a couple of nights midweek and the food and service were excellent. The staff are all very pleasant and the room clean and comfortable. It was a smaller, slightly more modest version of the boutique style rooms at the Fairmont in St Andrews although the bathroom was not quite as opulent and, for the cost, there can be no complaints. It is situated on the hill in the old town right next to the Castle and the great Portcullis pub/restaurant....although we ate in-house on both nights: firstly from the restaurant menu then from the bar and both were delicious. As I was suffering from a throat infection we didn't use the pool and spa but we'll return to use these next time. We'd also like to squeeze in a tour of the building itself as I believe it's a former school and had many interesting features. Great value.
"Receptionist made the difference"
I like the hotel I love the receptionist! Emma was as brilliant as she is beautiful Nothing was too much trouble Location is very central which makes life a lot easier I will stay here again just for the Emma experience
"Had a Couple of Visits here"
I have stayed here twice over the past few years. The first time was with my ex and we had an anniversary stay during a weekend. Second time was with my husband and we had an overnight on January 1st 2012. We had our Bichon Frise puppy with us and there was no problem with the dog in the room and later on in the bar area. Lovely hotel with great facilities and it's so close to the shops, bars and restaurants. Will be back, love it.
"Hogmanay break"
excellent service. Staff were warm, friendly and extremely helpful. Waiters and waitresses were above and beyond the call of duty. Rooms were comfortable and warm. In fact whole hotel was warm. Bathroom clean and had the extra joy of large fluffy towels. Really enjoyed our stay. My husband, his cousin and wife could not have had a better introduction to Hogmanay in Scotland. Only one criticism. The price for drinks was a wee bit on the expensive side
"New Years Break"
We had a fantastic time over New Years. The staff couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast and Evening meals were delicious. The Scottish musical entertainment on NYE and New years day was great. The hotel is in a good location for town centre and a good walk to the Wallace Monument.
"New year's package"
Party of 10 for New year. rooms great, food was good , entertainment good fun . Staff were amazing, worked very hard and were really lovely, especially Jackie, dawn, Amy and the night porter David - had a lovely 4 day break
"Amazing Hotel"
If anyone has anything negative to say about this Hotel, I would be amazed. Firstly the rooms are clean, spacious and with everything needed and more for a four star Hotel. The staff are very polite and helpful, this is from the receptionist to the cleaners. The location is superb, just turn right and you have a shopping centre, information desks, places to eat and lots of coffee shops. The facilities around the Hotel are very good, including the leisure suite, which is more than very good. Finally, how many times have you stayed in a Hotel, where you are woken in the night by people walking around, slamming doors. I can honestly say for the first time ever when staying in a Hotel, I had three calm and peaceful nights. AMAZING HOTEL!!!!
"Great location, good bar and restaurant"
We've stayed here a few times when visiting from Australia to come visit family. This trip we stayed almost a week. First of all this place is great value. The included breakfasts are great and this place has a nice bar at night to relax in at the end of the day. Good facilities with a gym, pool, spa, sauna and steam as well if you need that while on a trip. We were given an upgraded room for our stay but not sure what that meant as it didn't look much different to rooms we'd be in before. The rooms are comfy but they could do with a bit of an upgrade as they are showing their years. With a new luxury boutique hotel opening next door they may need to up their game. But for value and convenience this hotel still is a great spot to stay when visiting Stirling - a beautiful city in the heart of Scotland with lots of things to see and do in or use as a base to explore the Country.
"very nice stay here."
4 couples stayed 1 night in this beautiful building, staff were very nice, rooms were large and provided slippers ,dressing gowns, wine and water, comfy and clean -although we did find a hole in the duvet cover-very surprised, the hotel offers free parking, and although it is not far to the city centre it's a very steep hill! we overlooked another hotel and were very surprised to be able to see onto their bedrooms! Breakfast was lovely freshly cooked traditional scottish food haggis was great and black pudding too. we didn't have to check out till 2pm-- giving us a chance to use the leisure facilities or again walk down that hill again to browse around the shops We had a fabulous room with a super view and a huge clock-- which thank goodness did NOT chime every hour, a very pleasant stay
"honeymoon weekend getaway"
The staff at this hotel made our stay. They went out of their way to meet our every requirement. The food is amazing, especially the beef. Even my fussy wife managed to find food she liked and they even adapted meals to reach her needs. The rooms are spacious and they even have toothpaste at reception which my wife forgot. The beauty treatments were amazing and the staff were really friendly and were able to change the treatments due to my wife being pregnant. The only fall down for this hotel is the leisure facilities due to them being on the cold side. However this did not put a damper on our stay and would reccomend this hotel to anyone.
"Relaxing break"
Stayed at the hotel on our way home from Inverness, and was happy that we stayed here because the staff was really good especially with my husband being partially disabled. Facilities was number 1. - especially the leisure pool and sauna. Also had a good meal in the hotel. Could not fault it. Will be recommending the hotel for a stop over and will go back for a long weekend stay in the future.
"Stunning Hotel"
Loved it. Lovely room in fantastic location. Staff couldn't do enough. We stayed a couple of nights after getting married and were surprised with wine, chocolates and a card. What more can I say? Would we go back? Yes. Willingly.
"Excellent Stay!"
Stayed for one night on business trip- excellent location in the town with easy parking.staff really welcoming and great breakfast to start the day. Rooms comfortable -premium- with great view over the city!
"Magical!"
This was my first visit to this hotel and I was not disappointed. Situated right next door to Stirling Castle it feels magical from the moment you step out of the car. Our room was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. Only thing I would say though is that our room was really warm. Tried turning heating off and opening a window but it didn't make much difference. The Staff were very friendly and efficient. Would I return for another visit? Probably!
"Perfect!"
Just returned from a 2 night break at the hotel. We knew the area was very central and the hotel website made it look idea for us. Couldn't believe the size of the hotel on arrival, and just how beautiful the hotel actually was. I don't think the website does it justice. We had absolutely no complaints whatsoever. We ended up booking a late check-out also just to stay that bit longer! The late checkout packages are ideal and do not rip you off. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. If returning to Stirling, we would definitely re-book this hotel.
"Town Centre"
This is the old High School of Stirling that has been converted into a hotel, perhaps not where a designer would want to start from, but it has bags of character and you could even convince the youngsters that it was used in Harry Potters Hogwarts. The Headmasters study is now the bar, so when you are in for 6 of the best it will now be, Balvenie, Glenfiddich, Bowmore, etc. The food in the restaurant was very good, though the lunch menu was just an abbreviated form of the dinner menu, so choose to have one meal in the hotel and the other in the town. We had a Premium Room which was roomy and well furnished though the windows are not double glazed and some street noise may be apparent. The staff are very capable and friendly but the crowning glory for this hotel is the position with free car parking, 300yds above the town centre and 300yds below the castle and other tourist attractions.
