    "nice apts"
These apts are part ownership so some are really uptodate and others aren't we had room 610 which only got the sun in the morning bit was fair size albeit maybe had too much furniture in it, but clean and comfortable. pool was heated so really nice even if no sunshine, pool bar was ok but we just lunched some days in apt its cheap enough though. slight hill to climb so if ur not into that off a day or evening it might not suit however there is plenty restaurants & bar around with not much off a hill to climb. try tauras restaurant the food was gorgeous went there a few times and bar 39 for some entertainment. we were very lucky with the weather albeit you only get 6 hours sunshine in early march
    "Not bad at all"
As im sure you've read, yes it's on a hill. If you're age is over 55, you might find it a bit of a pain, otherwise its not that bad, plus if you're that lazy, taxis are very cheap. This complex is nice and quiet with plenty of sun and lovely pool area. Stayed here for a month and the rooms are exactly what you need, with a choice of shops and supermarkets nearby for your self catering. It's clean, the staff are as helpful as they should be and its Just an overall good complex. I've said before, if you're expecting to pay bugger all and expect luxury, then you're living in a dream world. So either put your hand further in your pocket, or drop your standards. It's a common complex but we'll run and well looked after with everything you need. Enjoy.

    "Value for money"
Stayed here first week in February and found apartments really clean safe and off good size. Great location apart from slight hill but no major issues plenty of shops bars and restaurants stone throw away. Walk to main prom fair distance but possible would definitely recommend for anybody wanting a quick week away. Pool is heated witch we found a bonus and food and drinks at pool bar really good value and quality. 110 for the week how could you possibly complain
"Very nice and staff so helpful"
My wife and I were there 25th of January until 8th of February the staff were very nice , got our room vey nice and clean , nice balcony looking across the pool down to the sea, it was a bit aged like most of the places in Tenerife , the cleaners come every three days to change your beds and towels, we had a great time trying new places to eat every night . We will definitely be back to these holiday apartments. And hope we get the same room.
    "Brilliant"
Just had a long weekend here. The apartment was lovely had everything you'd need. Shops and bars nearby are excellent. Quiet nightlife but you can get a taxi if you need something a bit more lively. The bar in the hotel is adequate and had some music and singers. The pool was warm and very clean. Will be back
    "Good place to stay"
Stayed here for a week in Feb. Excellent apartment, friendly and helpful reception service, nice pool area. Located on a bit of a hill so prob not great for those with walking difficulties. Also a bit far from beach, not an issue for me but might be if you're a beach person.
    "Just keep going back!"

    "great, friendly"
I`ve not been to Tenerife for a long time and was unsure about Los Cristianos. I needn`t have worried, it has a good mix of bars and restaurants that welcome you and take care of you. We ate at a different place each night, with the best being the steaks at Taurus. The Castle Harbour apartments were clean, friendly and in a good location which is a short walk away from the bars. this allows you to be close enough to walk to the bars and far enough away to not be disturbed by them. It is on a hill and those with walking difficulties may find it a bit tough. There is a mix of holiday makers and people who seem to either live there or own the apartments and they take pride in the place. I have no issues that would stop me returning to this place if I was to visit the resort again. Definitely worth a visit and great value for money.
    "Friendly & Quiet"
My girlfriend & I stayed here at the end of November 2014 . What a pleasant surprise we had when we arrived at the Castle Harbour. Very friendly welcome by the reception staff and what a fantastic room we had spotlessly clean and every modcon you could think of. Nice and quiet at night . There are some great restaurants and bars close by . We have already booked again for the summer with some friends , really looking it !!!!!!
"Clean, Friendly, not bad at all!"
It was our first visit to Tenerife, the apartments are basic but very clean. Staff helpful, heated pool, bar reasonable price for food/drink. What more can you ask for. Would visit again if we go back to Tenerife. The only thing I would be wary of is the hill down to the beach if you have reduced mobility.
    "Lovely"
Had a lovely week here with my partner in Sept last year .Rooms are basic but clean & just what you need. In a good location with a lot of bars/eating places just down the street ! Ladies on reception very friendly & helpful .. Pool bar good for breakfast/ snacks and reasonably priced. Would defo stay again!
    "Back again"
Back again after last years visit in March, smaller apartment, but still the same excellent standards , clean airy and good views.Bar/restaurant now has Happy hour 6-7 ,2 large beers 2.80euro, also they have introduced a special meal deal, Whole cooked chicken, bottle wine 6.50euro. Cleaner came in twice to change bedding ,cleaning etc. Will go back.
"Really good base for family fun"
We stay at castle harbour in dec from the 14 th to the 27 .on arrivel we got given the room key by reception A tip if your travling in a group check acess to room and make sure there easy access for older poeple. Room are date but clean .we had a problem with one apartment .which had broken head board and a few thing damages .we went to reception and the lady said .it would get sorted a.s.p as it was a saterday we did not expect it to get repaired but it did .pool area really good .you have to pay for sunbed but i suspect this contribute to the up keep of pool and pays for the life guard.and for peace of mind i think it worth it The hill is steep if you start at the bottom but if you do your home work and do a zig zag from the town via bus station then across to castle harour road it not that bad. Loads of shops near buy. Taxie cheap staff really friendly .what more can you ask for the price
    "Lovely holiday"
This was our second time at Castle Harbour. We went 4 years ago and enjoyed it so much we had to come back. We had an apartment on the 7th floor this time overlooking the pool. It was on 2 floors with a bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs which although not needed as there were just the 2 of us it was a bonus. The kitchen in the apartment looked fairly new and although there was the odd mark or tear on the settee it was all clean and tidy. The cleaners came in about every 3 days which was all that was needed. The pool area is nice and not too busy when we went in November. Yes you have to pay 2 euros for a sunbed but it means you always get one. The pool bar/restaurant is nice. We ate there a couple of times and the food was good. You can order a pizza and take it back to your apartment if you fancy a night in and if you are a tv lover like me, you get the uk channels, BBC1 ITV ch5 etc as well as some film channels and news channels. Happy hour in the bar is good :-) 2 euros for 2 glasses of wine. This time when we went there was entertainment a couple of nights in the bar and also a weekly quiz which was good fun. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes walk down the hill but there is a smaller one out of the back of the hotel that has most things you need. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around the hotel, one out the back of the hotel and to the right was very good, I can't remember the name but it had a glass front and I think it was family owned, the staff were so welcoming and the service was excellent. We also went to bar 39 a bit further down and around the corner which had entertainment every night. Yes the Castle Harbour is up a steepish hill but it wasn't too much of a trek back from the town and you could always get a taxi if you need to, also there are plenty of watering holes on the way back up if you need a rest. We really hope to go back again soon.
    "Home from Home"
Going back to castle harbour this year for the 3rd time - cant fault the place. Within walking distance of shops and food. Cheap taxis to the center of Las Americas and Los Cristianos. Nice for families or a relaxing break. Looking forward to going back.
    "Good value"
We booked a studio apartment as a last minute (cheapish) winter holiday not knowing quite what to expect after reading other reviews. We were pleasantly surprised, check in was easy and efficient, the receptionist dealt with us very quickly. The apartment was very clean & well equipped - kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, 2 electric ring hob, frying pan, saucepans, & enough crockery, glasses and cutlery, also had a TV with English programs, not that we watched it much. It was also cleaned regularly and bed linen & towels changed at least twice during our week there. The bathroom was on the small side but perfectly adequate and the shower worked well, there was always plenty of hot water. Our balcony was a good size, overlooked the pool and got the sun in the morning. All the apartments are privately owned so have little individual touches, some are lived in permanently & there is a residents association. After reading other reviews we were concerned about Castle Harbour being at the top of a hill and expected to have to get taxis back but the hill was very walkable & we didn't use taxis at all, also there were enough bars & restaurants near by, catering for all tastes so we didn't have to venture far in the evenings. Downside to Castle Harbour - having to pay 2 for sun beds by the pool but you could purchase advance block tickets from reception & save some money which we didn't do as some days we like to go to the beach or go for a long walk. The wifi (5 for 3 days) didn't always work straight away but would work after a little while, just needed a bit of patience (after all we were on holiday). We were impressed by how much cleaner & tidier Los Cristianos & Playa de las Americas were than on our last visit which was some years ago. We definitely got value for money and would book these apartments again.
    "Decent place, quiet, clean, pleasant"
I stayed here this year having been at the Oasis Mango (directly over the road) for the last few years (the Oasis Mango has gone all inclusive, which I really don't want!). As most of the other reviews have mentioned, it is up a hill (like most places in Tenerife!) but it's not far from the coast, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants a few minutes' walk away. There are also several supermarkets within five minutes of the complex. The apartments are all a bit different, as most are privately-owned, so some are looking a bit dated now. Nevertheless, they are all clean and nearly all appear to have pool-view balconies. The pool is very good: quite large with a children's bit at one end. You have to pay 2.00 per day for a sunbed (it works out cheaper if you buy tickets in advance from reception) but knowing this before you go means you don't feel it is too much of an imposition! There is a lifeguard on duty all the time during the day and the area is very clean and tidy. As far as value for money goes, this place is excellent. My only minor gripe would be the lack of wi-fi: it is available, but only if you pay, and then only in reception. However, I do appreciate that to instal it throughout the complex would probably be prohibitively expensive, and there are enough bars and restaurants in Los Cristianos which offer free wifi, so you can get by without it.
    "Nice Hotel quite location"
Most reviews seem to have it about right. It is quite at night and the hotel is pleasant and staff are friendly and helpful. The charge for sunbeds means there is no early morning towel laying and by and large those that want a sunbed can have one. Only a few disco noises now and again during the day. Many [good if I say so] restaurant's only a few minutes away. Its down hill to the beach - about 10 - 15 mins depending on your pace. All uphill on the way back though not that steep. As people say each apartment is its own and some are dated, though personally speaking if everything works I can't see a problem. If you want an unfussy easy going place to stay this is it
"best value apts in los christianos tenerife"
you have to book early to get in here apts sell out very quick heated pool in winter good apts and clean good bar and food quiet at night no noise after 11 nice walk down the hill to the front takes about 15 mins nice spanish food market nearby were the locals eat and drink booked through travel republic on the web and weather good in jan around 20 get a pool view though there the best rooms and ask for high floors
    "Very Comfortable."
Stayed in 752, on a high floor with pool view, which is exactly what I requested. Although basically furnished and equipped, it had all that was needed. Towels and bedlinen changed EVERY 3 days whether needed or not. Pool and surrounding areas immaculate; as were all the public areas. Staff in all departments were very helpful and friendly. I even heard 'La camareras' (chambermaids) singing as they cleaned the apartment whilst I was on the balcony. All in all, if you want a very clean, very comfortable, and quiet at night, apartment, you'd have difficulty finding a better place than Castle Harbour.
"Second Visit and Won't Be Our Last."
We stayed here in February 2013 in a studio apartment on the 3rd floor. Booked a studio again and although I did ask for a high floor, we were on 3rd again, in fact only 3 doors from the last time! This time the apartment had been modernised with a new kitchen and bathroom, flat screen wall mounted TV and nice extra touches like a DVD player (with a drawer full of DVD's), leather sofa and lovely new king size bed. As others have said, all the apartments are privately owned so it's the luck of the drawer whether you get a really nice one like we did or one of the un-modernised ones like we got last time. I asked for a higher floor because the winter sun hardly gets to the lower floors and it can be quite cool on the balcony. We booked directly with the hotel this time and got quite a good deal. I will probably do that again and enquire if we can have the same apartment but not sure if that will be possible. I was advised by an owner to book with reception before we left but I wasn't prepared to commit to a time until next years flights are out. Cleaning is every three days and you get clean towels and bedding.
    "Great Place to stay"
Castle Harbour is a great place and is excellent value for money. We stayed apartment 426 (one bedroom) New kitchen and new bathroom. Love the pool area though we do object to paying 2euros for the sun beds. Apartments are cleaned and beds changed etc every 2 or 3 days. Reception staff are always helpful.
    "FINISHING CRUISE HOLIDAY IN TENERIFE"
After a 10 day MSC MEDITTERANEAN CRUISE WE DOCKED AT SANTA CRUZ TENERIFE We had a taxi from Cruise Terminal to Bus Station, Bono Bus Ticket for journey to Los Cristianos and taxi from los cristianos bus station to Castle Harbour Apartments. The apartment we were allocated was on the 7th floor and some distance from the Lift. It was clean and there was a pleasnt view over the swimming pool. We stayed for 7 days and the cleaners visited twice. Two of the receptionists were pleasant and helpful but management were not mobility scooter friendly. The weather was excellent for December and we enjoyed our stay.
"Great week at castle harbour appts"
We had a very pleasant stay here tha apartment was a litle bit dated however it was spotless cleaned twice during a weeks stay including bedding and towel change. Staff where helpfull and the poll was one of best I have seen big enough to have a good swim and heated averagge for week 27c. The complex was very suitable for disabled and wheelchairs small downside it is at the top of a considerable hill.
    "Refreshing Break"
Escaped for a weeks winter sun and what an excellent week it was. After a 15min, 23 Euro taxi journey from the airport we arrived. The reception staff are friendly and attentive speaking excellent English. On our second day my wife dropped her eternity ring down the gap between the lift and floor. Upon reporting this to reception an Engineer was on site within 15mins and the ring retrieved. All this to my wifes joy who was not expecting to see the ring again and at no charge. Rooms are clean and tidy and noise levels kept down after 11pm at the management request. To the rear of the hotel is the restaurant Don Quijote where you can expect excellent food and drink. We did not find the hill a problem at all. If however you do require a pit stop there is a good selection of bars and restaurants for refreshments. The Oyster catcher approximately half way down does the best coffee we had on our holiday. All in all good value with old fashion values. One to return to in the future
    "stay at Castle Harbour"
Just arrived back, reception clean and tidy stayed on floor 3 in a one bedroom apartments clean well equipped bonus having a TV with all the English channel's on them, beds had memory foam mattresses so very comfortable, room tired but clean .sheets and towels changed 3 times in our weeks stay. pool area nice 2 Euros a day for a sun bed least you could get one, nice bar and restaurant , 2 supermarkets close by , only downside steep hill but it kept us fit, would stay here again
"Stayed there many a time clean tidy and quiet at night"
Nice hotel, clean tidy, staff helpful stayed there plenty of times, good prices and quiet at night so no problem with sleeping, nice pool bar and restaurant to in all rooms that I stayed in, but the silver could be looked at as not much there.
    "Great place to stay"
Arrived here on Sunday 16th November for 10 days. On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, as we were 3 individual men staying we were given an upgrade of a 3 bedroom 7th floor apartment each bedroom en-suite. The apartments were a mix of both private and holiday let. Very friendly staff and very clean and tidy throughout, our apartment was quite large with very well equipped kitchen, dinner the living room had ample power sockets and a 42' flat screen tv. Our balcony was quite large too. Outside the pool was big enough and heated to about 25 deg C and cleaned every morning, sun loungers were 2 euro a day or cheaper if you paid weekly. the poolside area can get a bit crowded but there is always sun loungers available and space in the sun somewhere. The location it atop the hill at the back of Los Cristianos which is great because there is very little traffic noise however it can be a couple of degrees cooler because of the cooler air blowing down from the mountains. It can also be a bit of a trek back up after a day out by the beach, sating that taxis are readily available and we were only charged 4 euro to get from the beach or town centre back. Wi-Fi was available very reasonably priced but only on the foyer and pool area, they were installing access points on all floors while we were staying so I doubt full coverage is far away. All in all a very pleasant and recommended place
    "Great value, lovely apartment"
This was a studio apartment that we booked and we were very pleased with the condition and the view from the balcony. The rooms were cleaned during our stay and whilst our room 422 was in need of a little updating, it did not spoil our holiday.
    "Great place to stay"
My husband and I just returned from a 10 night stay in this accommodation and It was our 5th time in five years. The price is excellent and the location suits us . The whole place is clean and all the staff are helpful and friendly. The supermarket is very convenient and the resort is only a short walk down the hill ( for those who are not walkers there is a free bus) . The views are wonderful and the pool is very nicely kept as are the gardens. If you like a peaceful place at a very affordable price and you don't mind walking and exercising this is a great place to come. We always cook our own food or eat at the one of the many restaurants on the sea front so I cannot comment on the food. Can't wait to go back next year!
