Ideal Location In Downtown Las Vegas Close To Most Attractions

We stayed in a two-bedroom condo and really enjoyed it. The property was exceptionally clean. The pool areas are well kept, and they had plenty of pool towels. We found it nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. We went up there each evening to enjoy shows and dinner, but it was nice to be away and enjoy our pool area each afternoon.

    Written Review

"Great place away from the hustle and bustle"
Stayed on the 9th floor of the Honeysuckle building. Had a great view of the mountains. The room was nice and clean. Was a bit of a drive if you were on the strip. Can't really comment on the pool because the weather was not nice enough, and we were gone during the day for a convention. Had a nice computer office that you could print your boarding passes. I would stay here again.
    "Grandview nice in Las Vegas"
Good location, luxurious accomodation. Jacuzzi plus private bathroom with wide double vanity sinks. Full kitchen, living / dining room, 2 large flat screen TV's. Resort pool. Next to South Point casino and restaurants.
    "Our 2 year anniversary"
My hubby & I spent a week at the Grandview Resort through RCI for our second anniversary. I had read the reviews prior to making our reservations. Upon arrival the check-in was quick & we were given coupon books for South Point Casino, (which is next door to the resort). We stayed in Honeysuckle Bldg which is the newest unit on the property. We had a two bedroom on the 11th floor. The rooms & property are well maintained, staff was friendly, & even the time share rep was friendly & not too pushy with her presentation. We didn't buy any other timeshare, but we were still offered a free dinner & show which was nice. We had dinner at Pampas Brazillian Grill & we saw The Ulimate Variety show at the "V Theater" at Planet Hollywood. The coupon booklets for South Point Casino came in handy & saved us some money. There is a bowling alley & movie theater at South Point, also lots of restaurants in the casino. We did go to the movies on Tuesday, $5.00 day....we saw Selma which was an excellent movie. Also if it's your first time at South Point you are given a slot machine card loaded with $20.00. The $25.00 resort fee was well worth it for us. We were always able to connect to the Wifi...not sure of other posts where people weren't able to connect or who lost connections. We never had any problems connecting to Wifi!!! We also checked out the Boulevard Bar & Grille which is located across the street from South Point...they have daily specials, we took advantage of the All-you-can-eat fish fry on Fri....you also get fries & coleslaw for $10.99....not a bad deal & the food & service is excellent. We rented a car since the resort is not close to the strip. We were still able to go to the strip everyday. You can self-park for free at most of the casinos on the strip. I would recommend this resort. My hubby & I are already contemplating on going back again next year!!
    "Ideal!"
Traveling with 2 young children we wanted to experience Vegas and yet not be in the midst of it. This was ideal. We were housed in the newest tower and it was perfect. We got a 2 bed suite which is 2 normal suites together with one door opening onto 2 doors. Although not ideal we worked with it, making sure the kids didn't lock one another out or mess around with the doors. Having the washer/dryer was great especially with 2 kids. The tubs in each room were great too, the kids enjoyed them very much. We have stayed at the Grandview before and would not hesitate to return. With south point casino just across the way there is plenty of entertainment for everyone. I would recommend a car if staying here as i am aware there is public transport but having a car here provides a little more freedom for visiting the strip itself.
    "Reasonable price and well equipped"
My colleagues and I stayed here for a week and we enjoyed our stay. This apartment is a little bit off the strip but I like its quietness. We stayed in a 2-bedroom lock unit which means one bedroom unit adjacent to another one with a common foyer area and two separate entrances. And each unit has its own king bed, living room, kitchen, bathroom, washer and dryer, etc. The room was also well equipped with kitchen wares, towels, hair dryer, and other life essentials. The wifi was free. I think it's great for privacy and perfect for two closed couples or a big family (2 adults and 1 or two kids). There are heating outdoor swimming pools, gym, and fitness room in the campus. But the gym and fitness rooms were usually full in the morning. There are around ten cardio machines and several weight machines. It would be nice if they could add free weight and more space in the gym room. Because it's far from the strip, it would be nice if you could have a car. The apartment did provide shuttle between the strip and the campus but the seats were limited and it would be charged around 9 USD.
"Great place away from noise and traffic"
I absolutely loved this place!! Very nice and away from the crowds of people. Lots to do and transportation was available when we wanted to go to the strip. Good food, movie theater, bowling, gambling and so much more.
    "NFR 2014"
This is a great place to stay and enjoy the Rodeo and nightlife at the South Point. We stayed in a double unit that consisted of two single bedroom condos/timeshare units each with its own jetted tub, laundry facilities, kitchen and dinning/ sitting area. What a great place to stay. They did charge a resort fee of $25.00/week that included the cost for WIFI in the rooms.
    "Loved this place!"
We stayed with friends in September for a week. Loved that our "2 bedroom" was 2 separate living quarters fully furnished with kitchen, dining and living room. We had a comfortable king bed and jacuzzi tub in our room, television in living room and bedroom and a stacking washer and dryer. The pools were very nice and clean and since we had perfect weather we spent much of our days there. The Southpoint Casino is next door and a great option for many good restaurants. We shuttled to the strip and loved every minute of this vacation!
    "Loved the Grandview"
We loved our stay at the Grandview. We had a two bedroom which, as others have noted, is actually two one bedroom condos, both opening off a small entry area, so you get two kitchens, two living areas, two bathrooms, two Jacuzzis, two washers/dryers, two everything--a nice setup especially if you are traveling with friends or family; it gives you a nice amount of privacy as well as togetherness. The resort is south of the "Strip" area, but not too far, and there is a large casino (South Point) right across the street if you just can't wait! But you will probably want a car to get to things. This place was great, and we would recommend it highly. In fact, we will likely go back again. Oh, and I especially loved the beds:not too hard, not too soft--just right for a great night's sleep!
"Just off The Strip Great Location!"
We try to get a reservation here every other year for my hubby's conference. We are there a week and need a home away from home with all the amenities. This place is a perfect fit! Great pools and between Hard Rock and Planet Hollywood.
"Great Stay Away from the Strip"
Have been to Vegas many times & was a little apprehensive to be so far away from the fun but it turned out to be fabulous. It is quite far south from the action but we rented a car & it is very easy to drive in Las Vegas & find parking just a block or so off the strip when we did venture there. We stayed in the newer portion of the Grandview & the rooms were very modern looking & contained dishes, coffee maker, etc--everything we needed. The pools were very clean but as they are located in the middle of the higher buildings we just sat & enjoyed our coffee by the pool in the morning when the sun was out as it was very cool in the afternoon. It is located beside the Southpoint Casino which has lots of entertainment if you choose not to venture down to the strip. It was a very relaxing stay & our next holiday to Las Vegas we will be staying at the Grandview again.
    "Great Place, super clean"
First time staying at the grandview, its a great place, clean and top notch service. rooms are big and they have everything you could ask for. Its located next to the Southpoint casino which is great, huge casino and tons of activities for the family. The grandview is not close to the strip and its a 25-30$ cab ride, but sometimes its nice to be close to groceries stores, cheap liquor stores and outlet malls. I would stay here again.
"Great place to stay in Las Vegas"
This was our first time staying at the Grandview. We had a one bedroom unit. Room had all the ammenities we could need for our week long stay!! Room was very clean. For the most part room was quiet. Beds were cozy and comfortable. Bathroom was large with a nice size shower. The bedroom closet also had a good size safe. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Overall, we were happy with our stay and will most likely stay here again. The South Point casino was located across the street. A very easy walk to restaurants, movie theater, and even a bowling alley.
    "Class Reunion at GrandView Resort"
I joined my wife's class reunion at this resort/hotel. There were about 50 other people in total. Parties and meeting places were done at different restaurants in the city. Most of us stayed at Grandview for the accomodation. The resort as some people call it, is very quiet and very accessible to the Las Vegas strip for shopping and entertainment. While there is only one room service during our one week stay, is still acceptable since as adults, we take care of our rooms. Packages for coffees when needed, just ask any of the service attendants that are available on the floors. Buildings are in good shape and the grounds are maintained well. Other amenities are also available both for young and old. Our party plans to go back in 2015.
"The Grandview at Las Vegas really is "Grand""
Great property. The suites are extremely well equipped including everything you could ever need for your weeks long stay, including full kitchen, pots/pans/dishes, coffee maker, washer/dryer combo, living room and dining room furniture, etc.. The suites are very comfortable, colorful and most of all, clean. It is far enough from the strip to be very comfortable, but close enough for convenience. The SouthPoint Casino is next door (within walking distance) and is a very good casino with excellent shows. I highly recommend a rental car so you can have the mobility to "spread your legs" and experience more of what Vegas has to offer. Overall, I recommend this property.
"Great location for the World Series of Roping at South Point"
We were going to the NFR and the Wrangler World Series of Roping, so the location was perfect. We liked being away from the strip and were able to use the shuttle at South Point to go to the NFR. We didn't use the pool, but the computer room was helpful and usually not crowded. You do have to pay an extra charge to have WiFi in your condo. I didn't really cook, but it was a real kitchen and I could have made a meal. I would stay again at Grandview!
    "best place off the strip"
This is an excellent play to stay. Many, if not all, of the rooms have full kitchens and hot tubs. It is quieter than staying on the strip, and it is great for families. The pool is nice. The resort next door (South Point) has some fun amenities also, like a casino and bowling.
"Second stay at this resort ..."
Second stay at the Grandview during NFR week. It is right next door to the South Point Resort and Casino, which sponsors a number of activities during the rodeo period. It is a short walk and access to a number of good restaurants in South Point. We stayed in one of the newest buildings, Honeysuckle. We had a 2 bedroom unit, both decorated nicely and very comfortable. Check-in was fast, and staff very friendly. During this week, the parking can be a challenge to be near your building. We did use the parking garage. A resort fee of $25 was charged at check-in.
    "Home Again !"
My wife and I really like our little piece of Vegas in our time share at the Grandview. Las Vegas was never on my Bucket List so my wife had to force me to go. We did a 4 day hit and run, but while there bought into the Grandview. We are both so glad. We have now been there 5 times in the past 3 years. The units are superb. The amenities second to none. The convenience of Southpoint right next door is great. Things are much cheaper there, over places on the strip and way less hectic. There is so much to do in that town that when you are done for the day it's good to come home and relax. Then get up the next day, make your own coffee and decide what to do. We cooked in twice this time. We love this place.
    "Very Nice Unit"
This is one of the best places I have stayed in . in Vegas I like it better when I can get a room in one of the newer towers. The two bedrooms are like having 2 great rooms Great location and away from the traffic on the strip.
"Out of the hustle of the stip -"
Hotel is near SouthPoint, Silverton and M Casinos and off the strip. If you crave peace and quite after hours - this is your destination. Ask for one of the two newer buildings - better parking and better views. Really nice furniture and appliances. Great room layout. Note: If you want a 2 bedroom unit - you actually get two 1 bedroom units with a shared entrance. With the new I-15 entrance just a 1/4 mile south - access to the strip is easy (and you can avoid some traffic). I-15 is a straight shot to Valley of Fire State Park - with wonderful scenery and hikes. Gave rating of 4 just because fitness center was opened late a few days during our stay.
"owners and we loved it again"
We always go to our timeshare at the Grandview once a year. We loved it. It is home away from home. It's nicely furnished and very clean and it fills just like home. The people that work there are very nice ad loving.
    "Beautiful, well maintained Timeshare property"
This property is a part of the RCI group. I found that of all the timeshare properties I've stayed at, this was one of the best. Well managed, clean, relatively new, and well located as timeshares go. The one bedroom that I was in was very nice, and quite large. No views. But do you really expect a view this far off the main hotel district? I didn't. This would be an excellent play to stay for a couple, or a family. It was very quiet. Definitely a strong recommendation if your looking for something a little off the dense hotel strip, and with apartment like amenities. There was even a washer and dryer combo.
