""What a Wonderful Four Day Vacation With Family""
Let me start by saying Kings Creek Resort is one the BEST RESORT! I ever stayed in. Trust me my wife and I stayed in a many in our time. I am not just saying this because I am a member, years before we became members we visited other resorts from the east coast to the west coast and found Kings Creek Resort to be one of the most friendly and nicest resort we've visited. We were there Nov. 28, 2013 to Dec. 1, 2013. My Mother planned the entire event. We stayed in The Townes and WOW! we had the whole unit A & B up and down. We only had one minor problem which was resolved. Everybody and had great time and everything was near by etc. shops, resturants, and them parks. We had plenty of room for everyone. My children and grand-kids, my brothers and sister and their family. My family did not want to leave so I promise them we will return on the 21st of December in about 3 weeks from now. The bed rooms, the living room, and kitchen, all was satisfying, like a home away from home. If you ever have that opportunity go I am sure you will agree. Thanks Kings Creek Plantation Resort for making our time there memberable!!
    "Better and better"
Just finished my second week at the Plantation this fall. The two bedroom units in The Townes are very nice, spacious and clean. Great location close to Williamsburg. The staff is exceedingly friendly and responsive. We needed more coffee cups and they were delivered within ten minutes. Needed a lighter for the grill and it was delivered within ten minuted also. We rented these two weeks and are considering buying two weeks.
    "The Townes"
My mom and I stayed there for 5 nights. She uses a walker and was able to walk around the entire complex including the bathrooms easily. We used the indoor and outdoor pools. The bed linens and towels were especially clean. The fireplace was lovely and rooms comfortable. Will stay again.
    "Quiet but close to everything"
We have stayed here two different time. The one time we stayed in the 2 bedroom(townes) and the second time we stayed in a 1 bedroom(cottage.) The townes was very nice, it has a nice size kitchen, living room, dining room and each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The one bedroom cottage has a very small kitchen, but it was only meant for 2 adults and maybe 2 small children. The larger cottages are very nice, with at least 3 bedrooms and at least 2 1/2 baths. It is right next to water country and only 1 exit away from Busch Gardens. Williamsburg is also between 5-10 minutes away. They have a lot of activities there and they have indoor and outdoor pools. It is a great place to go with your family. They also have gas grills outside your building if we want to cook out.
"Great resort with low fees for owners"
First, let me disclose that we are owners who are thrilled with an annual maintence fee of just below $600. Let's start with the basics...we were in the Townes, a 2br plus sunroom with 2 full baths, kitchen and family/dining room. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The furnishing and style are more traditional, in keeping with the location in a colonial city. There were 4 tvs and ample seating. The kitchen leaves a bit lacking; it is galley style with little counter space. I tend to think our family is not the norm since we do most of our cooking in the room. For families who eat out often, the kitchen is perfectly suitable. The resort is well placed within the city. Last year, we stayed further west and found the trek to Water Country and Busch Gardens to be a bit lengthy. Kings Creek is less than half a mile from Water Country and about 3 miles from Busch Gardens. There is small c- store on site in case you forget the basics. There is a large Harris Teeter about 5 minutes away; Trader Joes is about 10 minutes up the road. We had no problem with the staff. We did try to attend our annual owners update, only to attempt to be sold some sort of upgraded package. We politely declined and have not been contacted since. Those who complained about linens and housekeeping, I assume, must be new to time sharing. Most resorts do not offer maid service, unless a premium fee is paid. That's why there is a washer and dryer in each unit - the expectation is that you will wash you own linens. There are not a TON of activities on site here and most offered require a fee. But, the theme parks and area amenities should be plenty to keep most kids happy. Overall, we are thrilled with the amenities, location, and maintenance fees. We have next year booked already and plan to be black annually!
    "Lovely Resort!"
I had never stayed at this resort before but had always wanted to.We were able to go over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a wonderful time. The first thing that i was impressed with was the staff very helpful and polite! This is always important to me as i am sure it is with others.I thought the grounds were well maintained and clean! The unit itself was very nice!Very spacious and clean!I really liked the sitting room that was located off the one bedroom and living room! There was a nice indoor pool and gym but i did not get to use it.The resort is near Yorktown and Jamestown which we spent alot of time at each! The river walk in Yorktown was very nice!Visiting Jamestown was also a great expierence. If you get the chance check out Presidents Park right near the resort. It is a great thing to check out that is very close by.We were extremely blessed on our stay with very nice weather so we were able to do alot of outdoor things.I have been to Williamsburg several times and Kings Creek is probably one of the nicest places i have stayed at!I give it a edge over Wyndhams Kingsgate but Wyndhams Govenors Green is i think a little bit better!None the less i dont think you can go wrong with any of the three!Hope this is some help to others.Be Blessed Jimbass!
"Like Tony the Tiger "They're Great!!""
I had a super time at King's Creek...I celebrated my birthday at the resort and I can't say enough about the accomodations and the housekeeping service. My wife is a stickler about cleanliness so if she was pleased I am too! I can wait until next year to celebrate my special day at the resort.
    "Great Resort"
We celebrated my fathers birthday at Kings Creek Resort. We rented the 4-bedroom house and another 2-bedroom condo. We had the party in the 4-bedroom home and had about 25 guests there was plenty of room. Downstairs we had 2-kitchens and upstairs 1-kitchen. The house slept 14 comfortably. They upkeep the property very well at the resort. The resort staff was very accomodating to us. We needed extra chairs for our party, they brought them over with no problem. Grocery stores, restaurants, and gas station are in close proximity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kings Creek and will go back in the future.
    "...THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!"
I am a travel agent and I have traveled all over the world and stayed at a variety of accommodations. I was so pleased with Kings Creek Plantation that I felt compelled to submit a review which I RARELY do. If you are traveling with a family, this is the place for you. The units are large and comfortable. We were in the cottage area and from what I am told this is the oldest area in the property. The unit was clean and offered all the comforts of home. Our kids had a large bedroom along with a private bathroom. I did not feel like I was in a run down unit what -so-ever. We had a large kitchen with all amenities and also a washing machiene and dryer. The location of King's Creek is perfect...right next door to the water park and only a few minutes from Busch Gardens. All the beauty that Virginia offers was just enhanced all the more by this wonderful property. I will always promote this property to my clients and encourage any of you considering a trip to Williamsburg to book a stay here. On a side note, I did NOT participate in any time share presentation nor was there any pressure to do so. If you want to avoid that, make sure you make that clear at your time of booking. Looking forward to staying there again.
    "Spring Break at King's Creek"
I just returned from Kings'a Creek and loved it. The resort is very clean. The staff was very friendly. Its a new resort so there is ongoing construction,(which makes it a great reason to buy) I did a timeshare promotion. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. I wanted to buy because the people were so nice, but I could'nt afford it. The Town's Section is beautiful. I enjoyed my stay so much that I plan to return this summer, with a friend.
"I was reluctant to leave the cute wonderful apartment!"
We went at the height of the season and took advantage of a time share promotion requiring attendance at an hour presentation. Having read negative press about similar promotionals, I was not expecting much. What a wonderful surprise. The resort was as beautiful, clean, and spacious as depicted on their web site-Beautifully decorated small houses equipped with everything you can imagine. Seemed brand new (and we were not in the new "Townes"). We had a blast and it was very convenient to Bush Gardens, the water park, and the old town. We had a one bedroom-although it had two TVs-it lacked the 72 inch TV that came with the two bedroom (my son's observation). The washer/drier in the apartment was a blessing and, for the first time, returning home did not mean tons of laundry. Hopefully King's Creek will continue to avoid the pitfalls encountered at other time shares. It is wonderful!
    "Wonderful resort"
We stayed at King's Creek for the first time this past May while visiting Williamsburg to help our daughter pack up her dorm room, move things into storage, and return home for the summer. Over the past two years, we have stayed at the Hospitality House (YUK!), Greensprings Plantation (usually very nice), Fairfield at Kingsgate (also fairly nice), and the Applewood B&B (OK). This was by far the nicest condo we have ever had, in terms of the layout and furnishings. The only problem was that we had NO privacy off our back deck - we looked right onto the deck of the unit behind us. My daughter and I used the pool every morning before heading off to W&M to pack and it was a lovely experience. No crowds in mid-May and very clean and spacious. We are staying here again in August when we return her to school for another year!!
    "Best in Williamsburg"
Great accommodations, close to everything. This Resort is maintained to perfection and staffed by freindly & competent personnel. We'll definately return for another visit.
    "Loved the Resort & Accomodations!!"
Just returned from The Townes at King's Creek. The accomodations were beautiful & pleased everyone from Grandma to 9 year old granddaughter. Everyone loved the 4 TV's. Pools are large and inviting. Close to Colonial Williamsburg, but closer to Busch Gardens. Nice, quiet location with very accomodating staff!!
    "Great Time A Kings Creek"
We just returned from a great stay at King Creek. The timeshare we stayed at was a 2 & 1 bedroom cottage. Our freinds, their two kids and mom and dad stayed in the 2 bedroom side where we stayed in the 1 bedroom suite. The two bedrom had two bedrooms upstairs (one with a king and the other with two twin beds), each had its own bad. There was a 72" TV with a pull out sofa bed where thier kids slept. Also included was a full kitchen with dishwasher and dining room. Our 1 bed room suite had a king bed in the bed room w/ a 32" TV with VCR, full bath with a whirlpool tub, a small living room/dining area full kitchen with a 13" TV. Both area also had its own washer/dryer setup. Both cottages were very well kept and clean. Being that our friend used their timeshare week from their timeshare at another location, we were invited to the usual timeshare sales pitch. We also own a timeshare in another location as well which we explained to the management, but they still invited use. Our salesman Ron, was very personable and helpful. He took his time and explained and answered all of our questions even though we already own timeshares. Ron took use for a tour of the new facilities which are absolutely gorgeous. When we returned to his office we went over the pricing which was resonable, but again, we already own a timeshare. Ron even offered to buy our timeshares at our purchase price which was tempting. There was no pressure and we declined. Ron gave us each two tickets to Busch Gardens which was a $47.00 value each. I forgot to mention, this place is convient to all the attactions within minutes. Even though we own elsewhere, we are going back in the Spring. Who knows. we may buy then.
"Great time at Kings Creek Plantation"
We spent our vacation at Kings Creek Plantation and had a great time for a week. The whole resort is very clean and new. It also has a 4-5 star atmosphere with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The only problem we had was the rain. It rained 3 out of the 6 days we were there. Near to Presidents Park which was expensive to enter so we only looked from the outside. Was disappointed with Busch Gardens although my kids had a blast!! I guess I was comparing the theme park to DisneyWorld. Visited Jamestown which was a quaint place. Got to try a restaurant called Carrot Tree. It has excellent carrot cake and once inside, you actually feel as if you are back in their time which is centuries ago. Colonial Williamsburg was ok. On the whole, the Kings Creek Plantation was something we looked forward to going back at the end of each day.
"I loved it !!! I wish I could live there!!"
The establishment is gorgeous.. Peaceful, great for familes. A stone throws from Water Countryand Busch Gardens. Near Colonial Williamsburg, it had everything I wanted.. I had such a great time I can't wait to go again.
