"Beautiful Resort"
Enjoyed a week at this resort in late January. The resort is large, rooms are very spacious and the pools are beautiful. Food was good overall. Italian restaurant was the best by far (don't miss the eggplant parmigiano!). Staff were extremely eager to please but they are all very new and sometimes communication was a bit of an issue. Check in process was a bit long! Three major plusses were free WiFi throughout the resort, NO towel cards (just help yourself to however many you need) and not having to reserve at the al a carte restaurants (except for the special table at the Himitsu restaurant). The resort very clean, great bathrooms, good alcohol (except the wine), poolside activities, floaties at the pool. Visited San Jose Del Cabo on Thursday night for the "Art Walk" which was great and took in the Land & Sea tour to the arches, Lovers' Beach Cabos San Lucas on another day - which was interesting, too.
"Review/Trip Report"
Arrival day- Once we made it outside the airport, Cabo Incredible was there the holding a sign with or name on it. Our driver was Julio and he whisked us away to the resort. We had a Tecate on the drive over and great conversation with Julio. The drive took about 15-20 minutes. As we were pulling up to the resort, all I could think about was how amazing it looked. The service is top notch. We are not privileged by any means but they make you feel like royalty. Everyone is so pleasant and the sentiment is real. We arrived around 10 am knowing that the room would not be ready until 3. We had fajitas and quesadillas and guacamole at the barefoot grill. Tasty. DH had dirty bananas and I had an iceberg. An Iceberg is half beer half margarita and makes a great combination. At around 3, we checked into the room. It was gorgeous!!! Crisp and clean and comfy. We loved the shower!!!! At around 6:30 we went to dinner at Portifino. There was a Mexican night buffet but we chose to try something different. Being from Texas we have access to great Mexican and tex mex so we didn't feel the need to search out the Mexican food. Portifino was just ok to us but we are meat and potatoes type people. Got back to room and ordered room service. Hamburger was ok and a little cold, cheesecake was not very good to me. Day 2 We had breakfast at Oceana and it was amazing. I had the eggs Puerto Los Cabo. It was eggs Benedict with shrimp and was very tasty! Dh had an omelet with chorizo and veggies and he cleaned his plate. I ordered Bellini and it was superb. I'm convinced that I'm now in love with this place. We made it to the beach today and was given a "Summer shot". Very tasty. Had a melon taste. We also ordered a dirty banana and it was also great. We made sure we asked for an extra shot each time. I love listening to the ocean but the techno music on the beach has to go! This got better the next day. There is No wifi on the beach. For lunch, we ate at the seaside grill next to the pool. We had fish, shrimp and lobster tacos, seafood enchiladas and garlic fish ( I think it was red snapper). It was all very tasty. At night we watched the pro bowl in Desires. Very fun atmosphere. They offered pretzels and peanuts as a snack. Went to the Hibachi restaurant for dinner. Very good. Very quiet and relaxing night time atmosphere. Day 3- we woke up early and had breakfast at the Market Cafe. We didn't realize it was a buffet at first until we realized that everyone else was coming out of the building with plates of food. The food here was very good with a plethora of choices. We went to the main pool around 9 and found the perfect seat right next to the swim up bar. We were here from about 9-5 with a small nap on the beach. We met a really nice couple from Canada and actually became FB friends. We ordered food with the waiters around the swimming pool. Lunch consisted of a guacamole cheeseburger, cheese sticks, and shrimp quesadilla. Hugo, our pool side waiter was great! He remembered our names by day 2 and was extremely attentive. We hung out at the pool all day. At about 6 we headed back to the room to get dressed for dinner but a day of relaxation can be exhausting. We ordered room service, watched a little TV and packed for our early morning flight. We will be back! Although short, this was one of the most relaxing vacations we've ever had. The resort is beautiful! It's beauty comes to life at night. There are fire pits and romantic spots scattered throughout the resort. Our driver from Cabo Incredible, Julio, was awesome. He was waiting on us 10 minutes prior to our scheduled pick up time. We will use them on our next visit and will ask for Julio. He was very friendly.
"Winter respite"
We traveled to Cabo with five other couples and had a fantastic time overall. Our room was great but it did take a while for our bags (swimsuits). Other than that our service was usually very good. As I mentioned we had 12 people in our group and we ate together 3 of the 5 nights which can sometimes be a challenge. The pool staff was fantastic and we spent many an hour there so we tested this pretty well. Our favorite was Karla and if you have the chance to sit in her area you will be spoiled rotten. Pools were beautiful and always well staffed and well set up for the day. Our group took advantage of Yoga, bike tour, finger painting, karaoke night, dancing and used the gym. The entertainment staff was very good and eager to get folks involved without beign too over the top. We enjoyed the restaurants but found that most of them were way too dark both inside and out. We enjoyed the Italian and Mexican restaurants the most and really liked the buffet for breakfast. Breakfast at Oceania while beautiful was very slow. Keep in mind that this resort is a fair taxi ride from Cabo San Lucas so be prepared for a $60-$70 cab fare to get there. We went twice (once for fishing and once for a sailboat ride) and in hindsight would have probably cut one trip out if we had none the distance to town. Overall we loved our stay and I for one will be back!
"Another beautiful week in Mexico"
Every year for the past for years we have traveled to the west coast of Mexico in January to enjoy the beautiful weather and to relax with some of our family. This year having stayed at other resorts we decided to take a chance on the new Unlimited Adult Luxury Cabo Resort. We arranged our own transportation to the resort through Grey Line which was less than half of what the hotel charged. It was only about a 30 minute trip to the resort from the airport. Once arriving check in went smooth but be aware they will hand you off to a representative that will offer you some coupons for savings at the spa and then try to get you to go to a 90 minute presentation the next day. Our room 2511 was beautiful with a great view of the ocean, golf course, and pool area. Several days my wife and I sat out on the balcony and could see whales as tje migrated into the Sea of Cortez. The room had excellent free wifi with an individual router located in each room. There was a large TV, minbar, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, and some fluffy robes and slippers for each guest. I especially like the bathroom, there were his and her sinks, a large jacuzzi tub, and a large shower with a hand held shower and a rainhead shower with eceelnt water pressure. The food. There are 5 specialty restaurants and a buffet that is occasionally open for dinner mainly for theme nights. We ate at 4 of the specialty restaurants skipping the mexican one since Im from Texas. We found Portifinos to be the best overall, thats the italian restaurant. We ate there three times and I especially enjoyed the ozombuco (sp) or lamb shank. The service was also the best there. Oceana was very good but it was very busy when we ate ther both times and this is where you could tell the resort was new. The waiter was doing a good job but was a little overwhelmed and both meals there took an hour and a half plus. I ate a steak at oceana and my tablemates ate fish. We also ate at seaside but that was the first night and nothing memorable sticks in my head. We ate breakfast each day at Marketside which was a buffet with an omlette station a pancake station and a mexican food area. The food there was very good and the service excellent. Lunch I was pretty lazy and usually just ordered something from my waiter by the pool. The usual fare hamburgers, gaucamole and chips, wings, quesidillas. I only oredered room service once and it was very good. Pool service. We spent 7 to 8 hours a day by the pool and really enjoyed the views and the service. There are two pools a preferred members pool and the main pool, we stayed by the main pool. The pool itself is beautiful, with an infiniti edge that overlooks the golf course and the pacific. The water was heated and they had rafts for you to float on. We never had trouble finding a spot but Id say at max they were 40 percent booked while we were there usually less. The poolside service was very good but the servers often had a limited understanding of english, I was making all kind of animal noises to order a bacon cheeseburger. there was an activity staff which was good not to pushy like they can be at some resorts. we didnt spend any time at the beach so I wont comment other than to say when I went to look one afternoon there wasn"t a single person down there other than one bartender and two waiters.
"Fabulous!"
We felt privileged to stay at this elegant resort before it reaches full occupancy. Our room was lovely and spacious, and I think we were the first to use it! The staff was friendly and incredibly attentive, working hard to attend to every possible detail. Aside from the occasional drunken and obnoxious louts that one can never avoid at all inclusive resorts, the property was very peaceful. Fortunately, this is not a party destination like Cabo San Lucas. Service really was over the top. Food was fabulous; being able to order from a menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner was a special treat. The gardens are newly planted, and the property will likely soon be lush and green. We watched hummingbirds visit the flowers every day. We walked every day: to San Jose del Cabo (about 45 minutes away), the marina (20 minutes away, to watch the dolphins and the boats), the bird sanctuary (about 2 hours round trip if you walk the loop from the hotel, past the marina, through the sanctuary, to San Jose and then back to the hotel), Wirikuta cactus gardens (about 30 minutes). We felt safe and welcome everywhere we went, and met many interesting people. The beach was not swimmable, but this was not surprising as we'd done our research. It was lovely to walk on, and the sunrises were spectacular. The whales and dolphins put on a show most days. We left relaxed with many, many great memories. Thank you to all at the resort for an incredible winter getaway!
"A week in heaven!!"
My mom and I just returned from a week long stay here and had the time of our lives!! The staff is amazingly attentive and completely pampers you. I am quite the critic when it comes to food, but everything was excellent here...very fresh and great quality! There was also a great variety of food, we never got tired of eating at this resort. We had planned on doing some excursions during our stay but ended up not wanting to leave the resort because we loved it so much! The entertainment staff was so fun, there was always something fun to do (a big shout out to Daniela and Jesus!). I particularly liked the daily beach walks and water aerobics. The beds were so incredibly comfortable, and the rooms had air conditioning, ceiling fans, and blackout curtains. The only complaints would be the horrible music at the pool, which consists of about 5 tacky song that get played over and over and over... even silence would have been more enjoyable. And housekeeping came at very inconsistent and inconvenient times, but when they did come they did a fantastic job. If I ever have the chance to go here again, I would in a heart beat!
"great staff"
The place was very clean with a very friendly attentive staff. Food was good at all the restaurants, no problems getting drinks. My wife is vegan and the staff made her great meals everywhere we ate. Pools were great, but they were still working to finish the property. Gardens look good for a start would love to see them in a year or two. We had a room with a pool right outside. Room was nice. We were there the 3rd week of January 2014. We were the first people to stay in our room.
"Beauty at it's finest"
My husband and I just returned from a 7 night stay at Unlimited Adult Luxury Cabo Resort. We were celebrating our anniversary and received a room upgrade to a swim out. When we first stepped in the water from the room, it was pretty chilly and we thought the swim out was a waste and not much of an upgrade. We still did enjoy sitting out on the patio in the evenings. The last day we were at the resort, my husband decided to put his feet in the water one last time and was shocked when he discovered at some point during our stay, the heat was turned on!! We really enjoyed swimming in there our last evening at the resort and DEFINITELY worth the upgrade now that we could use it. Without being too repetitive from what other guests have said, I will add a few things. If you really want to swim in the ocean, walk 15 minutes to the marina as there are a few spots where it's calm to go in the water and swim. The walk along the beach is very safe and during this walk we saw a whale jumping out of the water putting on a show for us a good 8-10 times!! Just awesome!!! Be sure to spend some time at the ocean side pool for some of the most amazing views! Others had posted there was no shade on the beach and not a full bar. There are plenty of umbrellas and palapalas there now. Also, they have 2 blenders, a stocked bar and waitstaff ready to make your drink. The bathrooms located in the tunnel near the beach were just about done and I would guess they are now open. Entertainment in the evening is pretty much non existent if you aren't with a group of people. We were so exhausted from the sun and daytime activities this wasn't an issue. Keep in mind this resort has been open less than two months. The grounds are very nice and in time, once the plants mature, it will beautiful. Service is top notch everywhere at this resort. It is definitely their goal to please the customer and they did a fantastic job.
"Fun at Unlimited Adult Luxury Cabo Resort"
This place is new. If you want to be spoiled, this place is it . Service is always with a smile and will please you all they can. Some of our favorites are Pedro at the barefoot grill. A person that treats you like a friend, that everybody wants. I saw him run to get beverages for all. Along with awesome from the grill. Artie our swim up bartender, He makes drinks that he doesn't know and gets them perfect ! Just tell him what's in it! When he saw us slowly floating to the swim up bar. Guaranteed your drink was there when you get there. And always with a big smile. !! Daniella. One very active energetic person that wants and make sure that all are having a great time no way keeping up with this gal when you are on vac. Francisco. A very busy person, friendly, pleasing you to the fullest. Making sure all your needs are met with top notch service. He runs a very well organized tight ship. I think all that under his wings make a very happy and very enjoyable place to be !!!! The landscape is all new along with the whole place give it a short time to grow and it will be totally amazing Recommend to visit and enjoy personal treatment tile you have never had Loved this place and all that are employed here.
"Must Visit"
All good a must visit for a relaxed holiday. All staff friendly n courteous. Fresh ingredients used to make and deliver products.Wifi and International phone calls are free.It is a great place. Its a great experience.
"Flawless at SPLC"
Just got back 01/23/14 from SPLC and it was fantastic. It is still in a "soft opening" mode as at least two of the buildings are not open yet. We will probably never experience anything like this again as the first five days we basically had our own private resort. Maybe 25-35% occupancy. Service at the restaurants was impeccable to almost embarrassing because there were sometimes three waiters serving us. At the end of the week they were closer to 60% occupancy and there was no difference in service. Some of the restaurants were closed some of the nights which was no big deal as we just walked to the next one. Food was good to excellent with the lamb at the Italian being the groups favourite. The hibachi grill at the Asian was also very good. Hugo at the poolside bar was our favourite employee in which he called us by our names all week long and shook our hands on our last day. He would bring us made to order food right to the pool. He did receive some excellent tips from us. Thanks again Hugo. The tunnel to the ocean is nothing like I imagined. I was expecting a dark dank culvert. It is a well lit, clean tunnel that will have bathrooms opening very soon. Ocean is not swimable and we knew that going there. Breathtaking views and long walks override the strong undertow. Saw stingrays, dolphins and whales on our daily walks. No issues with safety. Rooms are very nice albeit a little small. Maid service and minibar restocking was top notch everyday, but again we tipped well. They had Cornitas as the main beer in the room and Mondello on tap. Way better than Corona in my humble opinion. Again Hugo at the poolside bar never let our drinks run dry. They have a coffee shop there which was a really nice touch and you could make almost anything and a martini station at the birdcage bar. Went to both Cabos and San Jose. We probably wouldn't go back to Cabos as it was very expensive ($40 for a lobster burrito at Cabo Wabo, what a rip off) and touristy. San Jose was awesome and I forgot the name of the taco stand but all four of us had three round of drinks and tacos for $30. $1.50 beer everywhere. Very nice. If I had to say one negative thing is the music played at the main bar is very repetitive and awful. We brought our own BOSE system which helped. It would be nice if they played a selection. Overall one of the best resorts we have stayed at and hopefully we can afford it once they are fully open because we didn't pay full price. We would go back in a second.
"BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING"
Stayed from Dec. 26th - Jan. 3rd. with my husband, parents, and sister. We had an amazing relaxing time. Being that the hotel just opened there was defiantly some issues being resolved but nothing I would complain about. The staff is all wonderful here and wants to give you the best service possible. Daniella from the Bird Cage bar is fantastic. This woman went out of her way every night and was picking up any slack from other servers. Also, David in the Coco Cafe is wonderful and makes yummy lattes. I've been to Cabo several times and this hotel was one of the best. But remember this places is about 45 minutes from Cabo San Lucas, so if you plan on visiting downtown much I would choice a different resort. San Jose Del Cabo is near and a nice place to walk around. The hotel also has activities happening all day long. My husband and I did the bike ride, which I would highly recommend participating in. Also took some tennis lessons that were fun. You'll enjoy your time here.
"Great Award Trip"
Just came back from 5 nights for hitting a company goal. Never saw the rate so I can't comment on value, but none the less on the experience we had. My wife joined me and 40 other colleges where we spent most of the time enjoying the resort. As far as all inclusive this was my 4th but the way, was by far the best. The food while good not great or outstanding except for room service that was great was good overall. I found in the past 3 other resorts the food to be poor in general. the drinks had plenty of alcohol which again was an issue in the past. the resort and spa were outstanding, clean new what more could you want. the service as well was exceptional. Worth going to for an all-inclusive vacation!
"Very Nice New Resort"
My hubby and I just got back from our stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time! We are in our mid 30's celebrating a birthday and a late anniversary from 1/13 to 1/18. Like many of the other reviewers said they are still working on perfecting everything, but none of the issues I considered negatively affecting our stay. Beautiful location overlooking the sea and golf course. We got an ocean view room and was able to see the entire resort. Waking up to that ocean view doesn't get old I tell you! Rooms are still new so no complaints. Staff was impeccable and everyone wanted to please you and ensure you are having a good time. They had special breakfast and turndown service for our anniversary, which was a great touch. Entertainment was fun for us as we enjoyed the water and beach volleyball and a short bike ride to the marina close by. Special shout out to Martin and Jesus who were hilarious and worked hard to get everyone into the spirit. Not too much night activity but there was a beach fire show and magic show during our stay. Also if you like to work out to maintain that bikini body, there is a gym and Osval who is on staff will help be your personal trainer for free! He was amazing, thanks for work out tips! Sad to leave and can't wait to come back. It was a great time enough for me to leave a review for the first time ever. :)
"Memorable Stay!"
Like many who posted on the reviews, we were a little worried as the resort had just opened. Here's what was our experience: 1) Staff and service: Exceptional. We are seasoned travelers and I can honestly say the people at Unlimited Adult Luxury Cabo Resort went above and beyond the call of duty that one would expect at 4 and even 5 start resorts 2) Hotel and surroundings: Every room is well appointed. We had the swim-up room with a view of the sea and the golf course. The infinity pools are nicely laid out with breathless views. The bed linens were not 100% cotton though and that was our only disappointment. 3) Food: The food was quite good, Some of our favorites were the duck at the Himitsu, Pan-Asian restaurant and the Ceviche at the Seaside Grill. The choice of included wine was quite limited. A relatively expensive wine list is presented as an alternative. 4) Beach: Nice beach, but because of the strong under toe, we were discouraged to swim in the ocean. However, there are beautiful beaches around the San Jose del Cabo area. 5) Golf: We didn't play, but from what I've seen, the grounds look impeccable with spectacular views of the ocean and mountains. I believe this was the best all-inclusive resort we've stayed at.
"A Beautiful Relaxing Property"
This is a beautiful new property. It is in a new and upcoming area of Puerto Los Cabos. The rooms are very generous and all have a balcony. There are marble floors, a jacuzzi bathtub, a large shower with two heads one being the rainforest type which my husband loves. There are two separate sinks across the room from each other making getting ready easy. The staff are very friendly and eager to help. We ate at every restaurant and for the most part enjoyed the food. The Japanese Restaurant was fabulous. The staff around the pool had drinks coming continually. They had movies outside at night and some local shows in the evening. But, for the most part, it is a quiet resort which was just fine with us. I'm not sure if it just happened to be windy while we were there, or if it is windy all the time because of the mountains. Give this property a few more months to work out the few "bugs" and it will be a great hotel. Can't wait to go back.
"AMAZING!"
Adults only but well worth it to spend quality time as a couple! Cannot say enough about the staff and service here! I have never been anywhere like it! Highly recommend! The spa is over the top as well as everything else. Everything is new and very luxurious! Would LOVE to come back someday! Lots of laughs and fun!
"Fantastic Time, Beautiful Resort"
I spent last weekend at Unlimited Adult Luxury Los Cabos and had an absolutely wonderful time. From the very get go the hospitality is in full force with the offer of champagne as you check in. The walk to the room alone is enough to fall in love with this place and its incredible views of the ocean and mountains. The swim-out rooms are the absolute best, but even better are the infinity pools looking out over the beach and golf course. There's always some form of entertainment if you want to take a break from relaxing by the pools for an activity. Find Jesus as he is in the know on all resort activities and a wonderful person to get to know! My first night there we went to the beach for a bonfire party with fire dancers and on the last night happened across a magic show by Sterling, who was much fun to watch. The food wasn't bad for an all-inclusive destination. Favorite meals were at the hibachi table in the Japanese restaurant and the seafood restaurant with a great view. I don't have a negative thing to say for Unlimited Adult Luxury Los Cabos and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful place.
"Wonderful extended vacation."
I truly enjoyed my trip to this beautiful all inclusive resort. The day I was scheduled to fly back to Chicago, my flight was cancelled! The hotel offered me an unbelievable rate to stay until I could get out. 3 Days later! The concierge handled all my concerns! The wait staff was the friendliest I ever encountered at a resort. They seemed to know me each time and many even used my name. I felt as if I was well looked after and a special guest at the hotel. I highly recommend this resort to golfers, sunbathers and food junkies, as each was outstanding
"It will only get better!"
We spent our honeymoon here from Dec. 20-27. They recently opened so we expected a few bumps. We didn't have any bumps (other than the ongoing construction). Our stay was phenomenal and I would recommend the resort to anyone. The food was excellent, the entertainment staff was the GREATEST (every single one of them), and the service was brilliant, especially when the majority of the service men and women were learning how to do their jobs. A special thanks to Cosio, Pablo, Maria, and Daniella for making our trips to the bars very special by creating special cocktails and being on top of things!
