Stayed here on a spontaneous weekend trip to see nearby attractions, specifically Legoland and the San Diego Zoo! We did not want to leave the resort — after all, it’s practically a tiny town in itself with several swimming pools, shops, golf, BBQ areas, live music, and crafts. Even fishing is available! There was so much to do and not far from the beaches too! The suites were amazing and included a full size kitchen and necessities! My favorite amenity was the large, covered patio deck with sunrise and sunset views to write home about! Who knew?! Stay here instead of a chain hotel for way less and get so much more

"An incredibly beautiful and peaceful location"
This was such an incredibly beautiful location. It is a bit out of the city, and more of a country setting, but it is worth the extra drive. The hills and rock tops surrounding this resort make it extra special. From what we could see all the building/units had incredible views of the golf course. The entry into each building cluster is gated with a friendly attendant to "welcome you home" on each re-entry to your neighborhood. There are a few shops and a Pizza Hut on the grounds. They also have various get togethers and celebrations, including special events and even a farmers market. We left the resort on most days, but did stay in and walk the ground one day and found everything just incredibly beautiful and well maintained. The room was large and comfortable with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is the largest we have ever seen in any resort, with all the necessary tools and cooking utensils you might need. They do provide coffee and coffee filters, and a quick call to housekeeping will get you most anything you might need. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and once we got to our building/room, we found that one of the housekeeping staff was doing a 'final check'. She asked if we would mind waiting just a few more minutes, and we did. Once she was sure everything was in order, she provided us with extra coffee, paper towels, garbage bags, and a few extras. The drive to most restaurants and shopping will take about 20 to 30 minutes. We stopped at a local Walmart supermarket before checking in so it was one less trip we needed to take. Do a little research, because there are several really nice restaurants that are in this area. All in all, this was one of the best resorts/locations we have every stayed in. Would love to go back one day.
"Wonderful resort!"
Resort is Huge! Condos could not have been nicer, spacious, fully equipped with high end dinnerware, pots and pans, utensils and small appliances. The resort is very accommodating and helpful. There are activity buildings, many pools(some with water slides), theatre, planed daily activities, professional golf course. Very beautiful.
"Awesome San Diego area resort"
Excellent family resort. Although it is 40 minutes from the airport it is only 20 minutes to the nearest beach. You need a vehicle if you are to explore the entire area and see the attractions. The resort has everything a family will need for a fun filled vacation.
"Beautiful mountain views"
The resort is nice and in the right room you will enjoy beautiful mountains surrounding the property. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The only issue is the stairs. We had a top floor view which is prob 3rd floor because the very bottom is garden style. For people with leg issues make sure you take the technically 2nd floor as you can walk right in as oppose to carrying heavy luggage up to the 3rd. They have grills, and restaurants on site. Lots to do right on the premises. Golf, shopping, theater. Very nice.
"Best Place in SoCal to Unwind"
We had a very nice week .Great place to relax I would recommend this resort for families or just a couple wanting to get away form everything. The villas were great the views were very nice.We enjoyed breakfast and dinners outside on the patio most of the days we were there .
