"Amazing Customer Service"
This was our first trip to New York City and we couldn't ask for anything more. We arrived early at the hotel before official check-in time and that is where we met Carolyn at the Front Desk. She made note of our reservation to try to accommodate us in the best available room. Within only a couple of hours we were able to rest in our room after traveling all morning. We would definitely recommend this property.
"First Class Staff"
What a wonderful staff at this hotel. The reception/check-in was very quick, despite having a line when I arrived. I was checked in by a wonderful woman who was helpful and even compassionate. Despite a rough travel day, she made me laugh and look forward to an even in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. This hotel is right in the middle of everything!
"Incredible Hotel"
My frequent stays at Hotel at Manhattan New York always begin with a speedy check-in by friendly staff. It only gets better from there. My room is always clean and spacious, usually with one of the best views in the city of bustling 7th Avenue and the Central Park/Times Square district. The few times I've needed to call for assistance with a cranky heater or more bathroom towels, the response has been quick and efficient. Guest Relations Manager, Drita Oroshi, has been especially helpful and always makes me feel like part of the their family. Finally, I love the location. The hotel is within walking distance to Central Park, Carnegie Hall, Columbus Circle and some of the finest shopping and restaurants in the world. And the cost is definitely reasonable by New York standards. For the money, I am convinced this is the best hotel in New York.
"Top Notch Service"
We were greeted by Elizabeth at the front desk. Her attitude and manner exceeded the level of excellance. She made us feel at home! We will recommend this hotel to all our family and friends.
"Location, Location, Location"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Manhattan Club. Perfect launching pad to explore New York City. We were assigned an executive studio on the 20th floor very roomy for a couple.
The room was well appointed and the plush bathrobes were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were of high quality.
All the units only have a partial kitchen, no stove or toaster is provided, but we still managed to prepare the odd meal. Wholefoods is only a few blocks away at Columbus Circle in the basement of Time Warner Center. Most mornings we had breakfast in the room and we purchased some ready prepared meals at Wholefoods that could just be reheated in the microwave.
Manhattan Club is well located to explore New York City. Central Park and Times Square are nearby and there were numerous subway entrances close by. We purchased the 7 day Metro pass which I found to be a great value. We also purchased the New York City Pass the jury is still out as to whether this provided a good value, but it enabled us to avoid long lines.
We didn`t visit the fitness centre I felt we walked/biked enough each day to wear off all those calories.
All the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Overall, a great place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
"Nice Hotel and Location"
Stayed here in June 2013. Very Nice Appartment, remember this is is not a hotel so no room service but with carnagie deli 2 monutes away no problem, all stones throw away;
Central Park
Broadway - The proper part
Time Square - 5 Min
Rockefeller centre - 5 Min cab
5Th Avenue - 5 Min cab
etc. etc.
"Definitely worth it!"
I was slightly worried about the standard of The Manhattan Club before I went there as it seemed like a cheap deal for New York but my concerns were unfounded. The accommodation was first class. I was sharing with 4 friends and we had 2 adjoining rooms with 3 bathrooms between them which was invaluable with 5 females. The location was very good for our needs although the tube was definitely the quickest way to get around as traffic was mostly at a standstill. The only down side was the weather which would put me off returning at the same time of year (beginning of December).
"Great time share in NYC"
Interval time share which allows you to split up your week we generally go to city 4 days in summer and 3 days at xmas. Very hi quality and conveniently located opposite carnegie hall we have been using manhattan club for 10 years
"What a wonderful Hotel in every way"
My husband and I just got back for a five night stay at the Manhattan Club in New York City. We have found our new favourite place to stay! There just isn't one negative thing to say about it. Staff, super! Rooms cozy, and comfortable, just an overall nice feeling when entering.....like coming home! Excellent sleeps in the bed. Loved it, loved it, loved it!
"Perfect Accommodation"
I have just returned from a long weekend in NYC with some friends and we stayed at the Manhattan Club. Right from the start, the service from all the staff was impeccable. The concierge sourced excellent tickets for the Radio City Christmas Show at very little notice. Everyone did their utmost to help and make our stay enjoyable. The suite was beautifully renovated, comfortable and so practical with 2 bathrooms for 4 ladies! The location was perfect for shopping and sightseeing with excellent restaurants in all directions. I absolutely recommend it 100% and look forward to a return visit.
"Absolutely Wonderful Location"
My daughter and I stayed at the Manhattan Club for the lighting of the Rockefeller Christmas Tree. May I say that this location is so convenient and within walking distance to Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Broadway Shows in Times Square, etc., etc. etc. You couldn't ask for a more centrally located place to stay in NY with a large Club area on the 26 floor serving a continental breakfast and cocktails in the evening. The staff was very friendly and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible and always had a smile on their faces. This hotel has been renovated and is very modern and very up to date. We had a Junior Suite (which we loved) because we had more room with microwave, fridge, etc. I would recommend this hotel to everyone for location alone, but it also has all the other conveniences and friendly services.
"Close to Everything !"
Check in is 4pm but you can leave your bags until your room is ready ! They call you if you ask to tell you if your room is available earlier . Take a walk Central Park is a few blocks away or have lunch .
"Fantastic cocktails'"
I stayed at the Manhattan from 7th Nov to the 11th Nov with 2 friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault the location, within easy walking distance of Central Park, Times Square, Carnegie Hall etc. I have to commend Michael who served fantastic cocktails in the Cocktail bar, was so attentive and made our stay so enjoyable. Would recommend this hotel to friends.
"Very comfortable suite in an excellent location"
We stayed at the Manhattan Club for 7 days - courtesy of a timeshare exchange. First impressions were good - friendly, efficient and helpful staff, and our suite was great having a bedroom with a 6 foot bed!! a lounge area with sofa bed and kitchen area, two big bathrooms and plenty of storage space. Housekeeping cleaned the suite every day. Business centre well equipped with PC's and printer. Useful for checking emails, facebook and printing return flight boarding passes. Although I didn't use the fitness centre I did peep in and it seemed to have plenty of good quality equipment.
The location is excellent, just 3 blocks from Central Park, one or two block from subway stations and close the hop on hop bus stops. There are delis, cafes and diners on almost every corner so we were never stuck for a place to eat. Our favourite places were The Park Cafe, Brasserie Cognac, Cosmic Cafe and The Metro.
Before travelling we bought a 7 day New York City Pass which included 3 days unlimited hop on hop off bus travel so were able to get around easily and see lots of attractions and experiences.TIP - If you buy these passes online the prices are cheaper than buying them in person.
We had a wonderful time in NYC and plan to return again soon - hopefully to the Manhattan Club :)
"Excellent Location"
The location would be hard to beat, a short distance from Times Square and an even shorter distance to Central Park. Convenient for anything in the mid-town area.
Stayed two nights and had a very nice Jr. Suite on the 20th floor. The room had been recently renovated and was in excellent condition, large, clean, and bright. It had a sofa, table with two chairs, flat screen TV, and a radio/CD player. The kitchen area was well appointed with refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee, microwave, sink, and utensils. There were two small closets with a safe in one. The bathroom was of adequate size, well lit, with toiletries. Although some noise could be heard from the street, it was minimal and caused no problem.
The staff we had dealings with were friendly and helpful. There is an onsite concierge but we did use that service. The hotel has a lounge on the 26th floor that is open in the evenings. Drinks are expensive, particularly wine. The best deal appears to be mixed drinks which are poured free hand and generously. The breakfast buffet is limited to pastries, bagels, cereal, fruit and beverages at a cost of $15. A gratuity is added to the bill for both the lounge and buffet. There are a number of establishments in the immediate area where you can get a full breakfast for about the same cost.
"New York, New York, at your footsteps"
We were in a one bedroom suite fo 7 nights. The location cannot be beat!! The staff is courteous, especialy Anthony and Concierge is very helpful. The units are in the process of being done over, some have a new look to them, but not all. We love our annual trip to the Big Apple and look forward to our time at the Manhattan club
"Great Expectations"
As a owners/members in the Disney Vacation Club for many years, we were very excited to see The Manhattan Club (MC) show up this year as a trade opportunity within our Concierge Collection. We look very forward to our upcoming trip as the MC is located near so many of the places we will visit while in New York. We have received several calls from their time share marketers but they have all been relatively pleasant and informative despite knowing we are unlikely to be interested in buying.
We also look very forward to reporting back on all the wonderful things that occurred during our stay in NYC at MC as Disney is very cautious about their recommendations to DVC members. Stay tuned..
"Great place to stay"
The Manhattan Club is an ideal location in the city. Our suite was comfortable and quiet. It was easy to get to all of our destinations. We only used public transportation. Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center are an easy walk. There are many fantastic restaurants within walking distance.
"More than a Time Share"
The hotel is located very close to many of the attractions, Central Park, shops, fifth Avenue, Moma, The Met.
I simply enjoyed coming in and out, the staff is very courteous and helpful.
Our room was spacious, the way the room is designed gave privacy to both areas, the bedroom and the area where the sofa bed ( which by the way was brand new and very comfortable), the kitchen was impeccable, as well as the bathrooms.
I would definitely like to return to this hotel.
"Love This Location"
We have stayed here both times we visited NYC. The location is great. Very close to Central Park and several subway stations. Lots of good restaurants in the area, too. The units were nice and spacious for New York. We had a studio with a queen sleeper that slept good and a queen bed. The sleeper sofa was nicer than most places. We had a handicap unit so the bathroom was plenty big with a large shower. We had to do the timeshare tour but we were honest that we did not need or want another one and were done in a little over an hour. All in all we would stay here again as we know the area and it is easy to get around. The staff was very accomodating and helpful.
"Brilliant Place to Stay"
My daughter and I from Peterborough in England, stayed at the Manhattan Club Suites from 6th October to 13th October 2013. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by reception staff. Room was really first class and big. Everything was there for a room only accommodation - crockery, cutlery, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Flat screen tv and table & chairs.
The consierge - Mara - was very, very helpful and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble for her to help with booking days out, theatre and information regarding travelling round the city.
Door staff etc. were nothing but helpful. Location central to everything.
"Nice Hotel"
travel with family from FL to NYC, book this hotel in last minute. We are very happy with the price we got. The hotel is total worth what we paid for. It is luxury hotel, very convenient and comfortable. Big bed, wifi in room.
"A home away from home!"
This hotel was pure luxury for us and our two teenage kids. A private bedroom with king size bed and a living room with a pull-out sofa were great. Two bathrooms with excellent facilities. Two TV's. Wi-Fi in the room. A kitchenette with a dining table for four. The location was superb and the staff were always polite and courteous. The hotel even provides complimentary tea, coffee and cookies for guests between 12 and 4 pm each day. This was a gem and there is no other place we would stay if we return to New York City. We were sorry to leave.
"Great Rooms in a Great Location"
We have been to this hotel quite a few times- before the renovations and after. They have done a very nice job finishing the updates.
The rooms are bright, and large! You cannot get a room this large at MOST of the major hotels. When you walk in, you realize the expanse of the place. The kitchenette is lovely and has everything you would expect. The fridge is a nice size, and doesn't have all the chocolates and drinks that they can charge you for. Just a nice open fridge to put your leftovers in.
The bed was big, new and extremely comfortable. Plenty of room on both sides for your luggage. The bathrooms were updated and clean. I would feel comfortable taking a shower there, compared to other hotels I have stayed at.
The staff was pleasant and friendly. The concierges( 3) go out of their way to make sure you go where you want, and bend over backwards to help.
